Why would he want to join the Bitcoin Foundation? That place is full of fail. Quit trying to fix it and just let it die off.

That^.

Bitcoin Foundation is operating behind closed doors, and I don't think that someone like Antonopoulos would like to join

I met this guy presenting his case at the city council meeting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9UbD-yAd1s

The gentlemen could easily be considered a prick by some, but his main concern is protecting his ever decreasing property value.

There is a solution to all this, of which I will weigh in later.

Jason has good lawyers.

In case anybody's forgotten, I slept there for 5 outta the 7 days I was down there conducting Thanksgiving at Satoshi Forest. I spoke with the neighbors and with some of the guys that use the site.

Here's the thing.  Does anyone thing any of these will ROI even with the hosted hashing for six months or whatever?  I can't see it.  As soon as BFL and KNC start shipping the difficulty is going to skyrocket again.  But even in this lull (If you want to call it that) where the difficulty isn't rising that rapidly, these miners don't return on the investment at all.

I know Black Arrow can't provide the additional hashing power to us to make that work in our benefit, but something needs to be done to mitigate the losses.  Heavy discounts on new purchases or something so I can make up the difference on a future order or something.  I dunno...  Sell me one of those Lightcoin machines at cost.  Something like that.

Or beef up the hash rate a lot more on the hosted side.  Something else has to happen or we're all screwed.  At least those of us that haven't got refunds coming.

your operating under the assumption that BA cares about their customers that made this happen for the, when in reality they have stated multiple times that they manufacture mining equipment and whether or not their customers make  a positive ROI is no concern or theirs.

16. Front End for the LTC chip is now stable. We’re starting the back end as soon as possible and we’re going to start pre-orders soon.

Where did the money come from for this development if compensation for batch 1 customers is maxed out?

No money for refunds.  No money for proper compensation, much hand-wringing over how this the absolute best they can do aaaaaaaaaaaaand.....................here's our new scrypt miner!  Getyer pre-orders in!

Using funds generated from pre-orders to develop new products while the customers that sent those funds in are taking a total bath, and BA is claiming they're absolutely maxed out,  is just the latest evidence that the level of importance given to customers is just above that of a cockroach scuttling across the office floor, and only because a cockroach doesn't carry a wallet.

Anyone that pre-orders anything more complex than a pizza from these people after watching this unfold has a fucking brain tumor.....

And they deleted every single one of my ~300 posts on this thread. But, what else would you expect from a Romanian Scum Bucket.

Speaking of Romanian, please dig into the following mining company for us PG:

On Überqöin, once a sale concludes, there will not be any clawback of commissions paid if some buyer and seller agree to reverse any given sale. A defense mechanism will be in place so that this attribute is not taken undue advantage of.

<I deleted two of my posts on this thread because I was in error.>

I just got off the phone with Joe, and now feel extremely comfortable with GAW Miners. And no, for those wondering, I was not offered a miner for this endorsement.

The mistake I made was that I found an obit of Joe's cousin by the same name, but with a different middle name.

During the course of the conversation, I knew by Joe's demeanor that this is a straight-up endeavor. Joe offered a myriad of numbers I could call to prove his case, all of which I decline for the taking because I no longer needed proof of whether or not GAW Miners is viable, of which they are.

I now offer up my apology to GAW Miners for this misunderstanding, of which could have been a disaster, but they were right on top of it to nip this in the bud, unlike other Bitcoin miner suppliers we're all to similar with.

If I were a miner, I, too, would now order from them, having been rest assured that they're viable.

depends on the font used. I use Open Office any many of their 'standard' looking fonts have subtle differences like that.

But yes, they are off to one helluva start on anything resembling their promise...

Thanks, bud, for clarifying the font aspect. Makes sense.

bobsag3 would you mind answering a few question's ? You have been to London and have met with Blackarrow........

Yes he has gone there and will again when the units are ready to ship,he took photos of what he could at the time, go back to around page 40 of the topic and work your up you will find the discussion at the time.ecointalk has lots of photos in the gallery and is bit easier to read through. Don't worry about all negative shit you see posted here by the 4-5 trolls, they get their jollies by highjacking forum topics with one hand, tug'n their funny bone with the other. One in particular would likely abuse himself to death he erver lost is internet for more than an hour.

I bet you're talking about me. BTW, AMT and Bitmine have bit the dust. Know what else? DZ is MIA, thus no more Hawaiian Vetting Service. Don't worry, though. There's a new bitcoin miner seller up and running to order from and jack off on all the shinny renditions.

Hey PG, why don't you go do some investigative reports on something like this instead:

They could probably use your talents over on that thread.  I think we got it under control with BA for now.

Loking at BitMine's neww lineup, would be nice if my 520 system that AMT was strictly a reseller of, not a builder - gets upgraded to the 600GH BMch replaced that model with...
One can always dream...

http://advancedminers.com/miner-protection-plan/

We want our clientele to prosper.

AMT knows that the SHA-256 coin mining space is somewhat volatile and coin miners can be somewhat concerned with hardware purchases these days. That’s why we guarantee enough hashing power to meet ROI and then some, when mining SHA-256 coin. If the networks increases to a point where your investment in our technology is no longer profitable, AMT will upgrade your Miner to the next level Miner absolutely free. We want our clientele to succeed and prosper together with.

Miner protection is automatically applied to all purchases from AMT and is valid from the date 09/26/2013. Although in the future, we may add this as an additional paid option during the purchase process. Purchases prior to this update are covered under the Miner protection plan automatically.

How it works:

AMT will receive your order, if the networks hash rate increases to the point where your miner can no longer meet ROI we will upgrade your miner to the next level of AMT miners.

Example:

If you purchase an AMT Steadfast 80ghs and the network hash rate increases to the point where your mining cannot meet ROI from the suggested shipment date for a six month time period, while mining SHA-256 coin, we will ship you a AMT 220ghs absolutely free.

It’s that simple.

Although, there maybe some clientele who would like to mine other SHA-256 coin because other SHA-256 coins are actually more profitable than Bitcoin in the moment. Those clients can opt to receive their miner as planned. If the networks increases to the point where the buyer cannot meet ROI, we will allow the buyer to decide if he/she would like to participate in the AMT miner protection program prior to their miner being shipped. When the buyer’s miner is ready to be shipped, we will give that buyer the option of shipping the original miner which they purchased, or to upgrade to the next AMT miner which will allow them to meet ROI and more. Although, the buyer will have to wait until that unit/model/miner is available for shipment of course. We will contact each buyer either by telephone or email with this option at the time of shipment.

If the network increases so much that the next level miner also can’t meet ROI, the product upgrade will continue to the next AMT product which is profitable. Therefore, no matter what happens, our clientele will be left a ROI either way. Plain and simple. We want our clientele to know that AMT cares about it’s clientele and AMT is a brand that consumers can rely on and trust.

ROI is defined as “a return on investment”.

If the above was written in the US on a standard PC-type device, then Thats should equal That's.

The above quote was design for only one thing: To garner sales. To garner sales knowing damn well that their is no way AMT could keep their MPP promises. It is nothing put a pie-in-the-sky ruse.
2659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox Knew It Was Selling Phantom Bitcoin 2 Weeks Before Collapse on: March 19, 2014, 12:23:13 AM
There were substantial withdrawals during this time.  The reason he continued to operate was so that "certain individuals" could liquidate and get out.  We have not seen any record of exactly what BTC and USD withdrawals took place after the hack or how much they were for.  Also, Gox was already short USD before the hack even took place.  I have not heard a whisper about any of this so far during the bankruptcy proceedings.  Is anyone showing up to contest this mess???

cough.... Roger Ver.... cough...

I'll tell you what! I really like Roger Ver, as well as the folks at BitPay, and it would sadden me deeply to later learnt that either entity was involved. I guess I'll add Erik Voorhees to the short list.

Here is another link that claims Tibanne Co. Ltd filed for bankruptcy in Japan on Feb. 28, 2014.
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=137710719
Well i dont know. It seem that tibanne transfered domain ownership prior filling for bankruptcy.
Iam on your side, dont get me wrong, i lost a lot on mtgox. There is a difference between knowing owner of domain and btc, unfortunatelly.

You cannot transfer assets  while you are filing bankruptcy. If the domain was transferred a year ago then yeah, but a few days before the filing bankruptcy, no.

Agan not sure, however court acceptance count not a date when filling were made.
Beside one thing is bankruptcy and other civi rehabitilation what mtgox has.

The court orders in Japan explicitly state that he cannot transfer any assets.
Imagine what would happen if everyone filing for bankruptcy was allowed to transfer all their assets to a family member or friend the day before they filed. They walk into court and say they had a million dollars yesterday, but as of today I have nothing so I owe nothing. Does it make any sense that it would work that way?
