Don't get ahead of me. I'm saving that for Guy Holcomb and Jonathan Kohn, the oil tycoon who's financing the DZ MC operation but had to buy his first mining rig via a...wait for it...group buy. And, if you don't believe me, listen to the #1 podcast: http://www.btcsandwich.com/ (full disclosure: that is not me, albeit I live in Sandwich, IL--ironic, eh)

All february month u will be hollydays due china's new year are u shure that 24 feb is a real deal?
100% sure. Ergo, Black Arrow garnered more sales all the way up to the 11th hour before announcing that tape out had yet to happen and will be delayed till yesterday, whereupon they announced again it'll be another three days, stating that Verisilcon, a big ass company, will stop whatever they're doing and work over the weekend to get this dingy ass contract of their's out the door for Black Arrow. Fuckin' amazing, when you think of it. Matt, I created my order 5 days ago when it was still saying Feb 24 shipping. I have been unable to transfer using BTC so will now do a wire transfer. If you receive my bank wire in the coming week can you confirm that my Prospero X3 will be available on February 24? BTW I also included hosting so I would expect the unit to start hashing on Feb 24 or 25 at the latest. Also, how confident are you that the Prospero X3 Batch 1 will indeed hit the Feb 24 target date, given that there is no news on the ASIC tapeout as yet. With two months left, and the Spring Festival holiday in China that leaves barely 7 weeks for tapeout, server prototyping, and testing. I appreciate your response Regards, Uzair We're absolutely on track for Feb 24th. We're going to be unaffected by the Chinese new year. Orders are shipped by the order they're paid. Since you purchased 5 days ago, I don't expect you're going to be hashing on the same day. We're going to be filling orders very quickly but you still have to allow some time for everything to be put in place. Yea blackarrow has been really bad letting people know were batches were. First they said batch 1 was closed, and were going into batch 2. Now there saying that batch 1 is open, but hey were shipping your units march 10, instead of February 24. It's pretty pathetic actually, to see this company with a good product, to have such terrible customer service. Instead of just hiring people for 2 dollars an hour, they would rather try and do it themselves, and at the end of the day it's just costing them some serious $ signs
That's not what they said, they repeatedly said batch1 is set for original ship date, batch 2 is march ship date. If you followed this thread the last few days you'd know that so i assume this is a troll post. Batch 1 is when we get all of the ASICs created. Batch 1 will be shipped starting Feb 24th 2014. Because of the number of orders, if you buy now, your order will be shipped after March 10th 2014. This date change is less about what batch you're in and more about when you can expect your product to ship. This date change is done as a courtesy. We can't ship all orders on Feb 24th. That's just not realistic. Matt, do you still expect to start shipping 24th?
Absolutely. Everything is coming together nicely. I purchased a Prospero X-3 on 30/11/2013 at BlackArrowSoftware. The delivery is on 24/02/2014, right?
If you paid for it on November 30th, yes.
Great. Thanks for you fast reply. Keep up the good work.

We will offer local pickups- but we are moving to a massive new facility in CO, so pickups will have to be from there . ALSO: I now have access to the BA ticket system, so if you need a response feel free to PM and I can at least check on the status for you. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=168704Name: BlackArrow Matt Posts: 87 Activity: 87 Position: Member Date Registered: November 24, 2013, 07:44:15 PM Last Active: February 17, 2014, 09:45:55 PM Hi,
I've been part of the bitcointalk community for a while. I was fortunate enough to become part of the Black Arrow team and I'm going to do my best to answer as many questions as possible while I'm here. We're extremely busy answering emails and taking orders for our February 2014 release.
If any moderators want to verify me, please PM me and I will provide my @blackarrowsoftware.com email address.
Thanks! Matt

Reading that again carefully: 14.We have completed the design and manufacture of the banners for the Texax Bitcoin Conference. http://texasbitcoinconference.com/ . This announcement confirms that we will be present there; Minersource, Our reseller from USA, will represent us. ... that means Black Arrow won't be there and their directors won't show up. Minesource could be a victim of their scam or part of them, too. We're not sure who Minesource or Bobsag (is he from Minesource) is. <snip?
Do we accept resellers? Yes. In order to save our customers shipping costs, we will accept a company that wishes to become our reseller and proves that they are experienced and trustworthy.
Let's revisit Black Arrow's first trustworthy reseller, shall we? From the desk of Bobsag3, a.k.a. Matt Carson, Black Arrow's first and #1 reseller for their miners. <snip>
I never ended up moving to another warehouse in Rolla, just the one. We went right from small warehouse in rolla > denver warehouse in one move, early Jan. We paid for every month, and if your in contact with who you should be to verify that kind of info, they will verify it. So yes, your blowing smoke up peoples asses.
And with that im done on the subject. I think people have seen im more than up front compared to most here- but lets stay on topic about BA, or about actual minersource orders.
Timeline of Matt Carson's datacenter locations. Originally posted in Black Arrow's self-moderated thread, but quickly deleted for being...wait for it..off-topic (and that I was trolling, so they claim). Black Arrow has proof that Matt Carson can NOT be trusted, but continue to use him as their official reseller in the US. If I were to use Tom Williams, of mybitcoin.com, as my official reseller for some product, stating that people change, would I be able to sell many product, Alex Sovu, of cardreaderfactory.com? Me, the asshole, no think so, yet... BUILDING #1: Purchased the building, awaiting infrastructure. Building was purchased today! All the wiring and infrastructure equipment arrives tomorrow-Wednesday. Over 400lb. Poor UPS man
<snip>
Thanks- Ill be moving to a custom made facility here in under 3 weeks.
BUILDING #2: Moving to a better facility here (still in Missouri) located 90 miles away. Major Update!
We will be moving to a much large, much better facility here by the end of the month. There may be a short down time (its only a 90mi drive) while being setup at the new facility, but we will not be turning anything off right up to the last minute.

Building acquired I cant answer on the software but I can on the shipping. Looks like the boards should be done here within 48 hours, and then will be dispatched after a small amount of testing to AUS, and me in the US. At least from me, all boards will then be tested again (Not sure how long... suggestions?) and then immediatly shipped out same day via UPS Next Day/2nd Day air [depending on location]. As soon as we know the boards are done, we can give concrete delivery.
I'd sample test say 1/10th of the boards for a few hours on testnet. That'd be my recommendation Yeah I can do that. *might* be able to live stream, or atleast upload a ton of pictures. I will be shipping from MO. Middle of the country, and if your anywhere close to me Im ok with local pickup . And I just want to say guys - Barn has been working very hard behind the screens to bring this all together... this stuff is immensely complex. Here we are, on November 18th, and Matt still has his datacenter in Missouri at the second facility: <snip>
This is why I went from garage > warehouse > bigger warehouse. Heat is nuts.
Shenzhen, China 11/26/2013 8:05 P.M. Departure Scan
Yea, but do the thumbs have any tracking info? When you get the board delivery after a quick run though where are they coming from for you. I seem to expect California. No idea on the thumbs- thats all Barn. I will be shipping out from Central MO.Does anyone have any details regarding power consumption. The genesis block calculator says expected power usage per unit to be 2100 watts. I am afraid for me that's not going to work. To be honest I was expecting something that would work on a residential 120v circuit. They also do not offer any hosting yet unfortunately.
I got ya covered But yeah that is kind of silly. Im glad when I put my new facility together I decided to say fuck it and got all 240vNovember 26th, edited on the 28th, Matt Carson is still in Missouri at the second facility: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=347732.msg3723600#msg3723600bobsag3: Vetted Co-op member. World's lowest hosting fees for vetted miner hosting at a professional colocation hosting facility in Missouri! Official Black Arrow US Reseller and US Distributor for Drillbit Systems. New Pres. of our Mining Operations arm of our LLC. Providing R19 and R19B miners to the GB Forum! And still upgrading his second facility: <snip>
No problem. Im having a 400A 240V pannel installed just for the 2kw+ miners that seem to be coming out.
On December 12, 2013, fresh back from China, Matt Carson posted the following... BTW, still located in Missiouri:This makes no sense financially and if it's going to be hosted in a data center it should be using specialized GPU mining racks that can run more GPUs per motherboard/CPU. You really need open racks and to use PCI-E riser ribbons if you want to build a GPU mining rig, using a desktop computer case makes no sense especially because heat is a huge issue with scrypt mining. Also to be honest, scrypt mining is VERY finicky compared to SHA256 mining, you're talking about constant lockups and crashes if heat isn't perfectly controlled. The amount of time that's going to go into keeping everything running is going to be much higher than with bitcoins and given how the Bitfury towers already caused a ton of problems I'm not sure the coop has enough manpower to keep racks of scrypt miners up and running.
The new facility comes with me also having hired 6 more people to help out. I am currently training them right now. On December 13, Matt Carson hired additional staff to work at his Missouri-based datacenter, to date not mentioning Denver even once. <snip>
I am working with them right now for me to help with their tickets, so we can get the response time much faster. I have hired additional staff that start work here in a few weeks, and I know they are working hard to improve their systems.
I cant speak on the refunds unfortunately, I am still discussing the options with them.
Four hours later, Matt mentions for the first the move to Denver, right after somebody ask about local pickup since he lives in KC. Did his new hires move to Denver with him?We will offer local pickups- but we are moving to a massive new facility in CO, so pickups will have to be from there . ALSO: I now have access to the BA ticket system, so if you need a response feel free to PM and I can at least check on the status for you. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=288012We are all moved into the new place, lots of updates and pictures to come!
BUILDING #3:Somewhere in Colorado, in some warehouse with 16-18 foot ceilings, ideally well-suited for bitcoin miners that love fiberglass dust sourced from the exposed insulation in the ceilings and walls, blown free from the constantly moving vortex of air due to the industrial-sized air conditioning unit(s). Whatever you do, don't open up that massive overhead door that's probably not well-sealed, otherwise you'll really have the dust a flying. This has been the third time you're on record in stating that you only moved once. Care to try for a forth time? ~TMI BTCITW

seemingly some dude tried to buy black arrow equipment last week, and his funds were returned to his bank. It seems, at least, someone must be checking out the legitimacy of this lot if their bank is returning funds.
The bank account was in Alex Sovu's name, the convicted felon, trusted employee for five years with Black Arrow. But Black Arrow denies that Alex is the owner, yet has everything in his name.

What do you do when you wake up in the middle of the night and see your tv is floating? You take your pistol and shoot just under the tv. Then call the cops that you just shot a black man trying to steal your tv Tongue

All messages from Phinnaeus Gage were deleted due to him being the only one exposing your ass, along with probably the only person that has read everyone of your posts, even the deleted ones, TWICE.

Doesn't your BTC order system have a real flaw then? If I put in an order every day, it marks the exchange rate for that day. I could just complete the order that had the peak BTC exchange rate on it. It seems like people will game your system.
This system has a flaw towards people who want to play games. We will discourage and refuse to deal with such customers. 8.We have increased the heatsink fins thickness to 0.5mm, asked the factory to produce 2 samples (1.8mm spacing and 2mm spacing).

All I want is my order to be un-cancelled, receive my order by May 1st, and hopefully have some questions answered along the way.. It almost seems like they're eager to refund me since I paid half of my order in bitcoins and the value has come down since then.
Remember your reply from Virisilicon? Please note that February deliveries are limited because we will produce a limited number of wafers. The remaining orders will need to wait 1 month more until the 2nd batch. I was somewhat yanking a chain when I stated that the reply didn't specify if the question was for batch one or two. It's now quite possible that those assholes are mining away using the bullet run chips.

Who wants to hear a funny story? So, I PMed blackarrow on ecointalk asking him if he could please address my questions in this thread when he posts his weekly update: http://ecointalk.net/topic/523-question-for-blackarrow-to-answer/Instead, he asks for my order number. He asked me previously when he refused to answer my questions because he wanted to confirm that I was indeed a customer. So I gave him my order number to prove I'm a paying customer and for him to address my questions. Instead, the next PM I receive from him says he's cancelling my order. Never did I once ask him to cancel my order. And he still hasn't been back online to see my PMs telling him not to cancel my order and that all I wanted was answers. And now bobsag3 has been ignoring my PMs all day as well. Funny story, huh?

Yet he was more than happy to answer DebitMe's questions and didn't make him cough up an order number to "verify he's a customer"
That's ridiculous he refunded you, I'm sorry man. Just lost what respect I had for them. Who said anything about a refund? I haven't gotten any refund. I've just been told that my order was cancelled... Boy oh boy, I hate to be that guy who's manning the Black Arrow booth in front of their new banner in Austin. Remember what happened to HashFast at CES? Ditto, for Matt Carson in Austin.
