2641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android, iOS, Web on: December 04, 2015, 03:04:40 PM
Wow, I used to hold a lot of Gems some months ago and I was always interested in the project. Do you guys think is a good price to buy now?
2642  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: wtb 10$ btc for 15$ paypal on: December 04, 2015, 01:46:55 PM
I would definitely avoid this, we can't say it loud enough, there are scams everyday in this forum and people keep losing their money, it's an epidemic. This thread has all the red lights, so please think before doing it.
2643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc Good time to buy ? on: December 04, 2015, 01:44:32 PM
Personally I'll only buy if it goes below $230 which was the value when I got my modest share. This changes very quickly so you need to set some amount beforehand and have it available if the price reaches certain numbers.

If I were you and I were looking to buy now, I would wait for the price to drop around $300-320.  But if you feel it will get a pump in the next weeks then go ahead and hold it short term, there's a very strong chance it'll go up to $400-500 again soon.
2644  Economy / Economics / Re: My 21BTC Dream on: December 04, 2015, 12:55:34 AM
I was thinking about your thread the other day but I'm more modest in my ambitions, 21 BTC is just not possible for me, but I was thinking that maybe 2.1 BTC would be great and very easy to achieve for many of us, what do you guys think?
2645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 04, 2015, 12:49:23 AM
Just don't gamble what you can't afford to lose. Think about the money you spend gambling as something you already lost or loose change of the week. Have fun. Don't try to beat the house, you won't. Don't have a goal or a certain amount you must reach, you won't, just enjoy yourself.

Don't push your luck, know when you have enough, cash out even with little winnings, you'll feel great and be richer than when you started. And always remember: The house always wins.
2646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 04, 2015, 12:41:14 AM
I registered "bitcoins.website" as in http://www.bitcoins.website

Can't believe it was still free

Don't let the naysayers get you down - it's a good domain name!

It may not rank as fast as a .com, but it's a searchable name that you can link to.  Do good SEO on the page and you'll do fine.

Not sure if I was a naysayer but to me he take a gamble basically or decided to "invest" into something. A domain has to be renewed for many years even if that doesn't cost very much. I see potential of course but only time will tell really. Personally I wouldn't buy it if I saw it but OP thinks he found gold, that's the only thing that in my opinion didn't make too much sense.
2647  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: December 04, 2015, 12:34:20 AM
As others have said it's very unpredictable. You should always keep a stash of a decent amount of BTC in my opinion, that is if you are interested in it. There's a chance it duplicates in value or more in the next years. Bitcoin price has been rising since the start year by year if you see the graphs. But there's always the same chance basically that it drops to almost nothing if something bad happens, for example if it becomes obsolete because of a new technology, it's declared illegal or a major scandal/heist/security concern happen.
2648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we earn bitcoin by Torrent seeding ? on: December 03, 2015, 10:56:50 PM
I don't think this will be possible in the sense of getting profit for just sharing the latest Marvel's movie. But I remember reading about the creator of Popcorn Time (who nows works for Xapo) about a system that can send BTC to creators.

So even if you pirate a movie, the copyright owners would still get some benefit. Perhaps not what they ask...not the $15-20 they charge on iTunes or Play Store but let's say BTC0.0001 per completed download, that's great if you ask me). Same for music, etc.
2649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 03, 2015, 09:01:32 PM
I don't think it's worth anything now to be honest, but maybe in the future it can be gain value as any other dictionary or common words. There are plenty of these type of domains available so you didn't discovered anything. That doesn't mean it doesn't have potential value.

.io domains have a different story as I see some of you discussing that "alternative" ones don't have any value, that's one exception.
2650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 03, 2015, 08:50:12 PM
I think they have some hard test in the next games, mostly Toronto and Indiana. Indiana in particular is a very hard team to beat, plus Paul George is playing great. Toronto has been more quiet lately, if that game was played in the beginning of the season it would be a whole different story.
2651  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why arenīt U.S. mass shootings called for what they are - Terrorism on: December 03, 2015, 04:24:20 AM
Here it is for anyone interested: If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front. Eco-terrorism is the only other use of the word or concept I can think of besides the usual ISIS/AL QADEA reports.
2652  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why arenīt U.S. mass shootings called for what they are - Terrorism on: December 03, 2015, 04:19:32 AM
Of course they have a political agenda, not all mass shooters but plenty of them, like the guy who did the black church shootings. They are mostly lone wolves so not sure if they qualify as terrorist. The definition is rather vague and if course the media is guilty. Terrorist is almost a synonym of arab fanatics to the western world while it's very clear that it's a label that can be applied to many other cases.

What I remember is watching a documentary about the trial of some ecologists that attempted to shutdown a company and were getting terrorist charges, life in prison and death penalty just for some property damage. It was in Oregon I think, I don't remember the name, sorry.
2653  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you trade? on: December 03, 2015, 04:09:48 AM
When I started I've used ShapeShift a lot. I still do sometimes and their support is very good. For small transactions and quick conversions it's great. Lately I've been using Poloniex as advised here in the forum. I don't really like having money on a exchange though but there are plenty of advantages compared to ShapeShift.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 03, 2015, 01:34:41 AM
I bet Golden State Warrior match versus Charlotte Hornets 1st quarter over and 1st half quarter over, and all lose, what a bad day. don't know why GSW plays not aggresive like other match.
now i bet Atlanta match 1st quarter over 50, i hope its win !

They have a huge road trip ahead, they have to save their energy and do better rotations, you can't expect they will go full strength. Plus they have experience and know they can do less effort and still win this game. Just look at Curry, he does what he wish, sometimes you don't know if he is even playing then a minute later he goes berserk.
2655  Economy / Gambling / Re: UFC 194 Prediction: Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo [December 12, 2015] on: December 02, 2015, 07:07:29 PM
I think this one will be a tough fight. I like McGregor, he can handle pressure very well, he has great knockout power, and is just so damn hard to read. He makes really unorthodox moves, some look clumsy but they have power so it's very hard to fight him. And he can definitely take some punches and keep going.
If he wins I really don't think it will be by submission, it should be by KO ou decision.

I won't bet much though, I still remember Ronda Rousey fight. She was really newbie there, and I thought she could handle pressure as well, so I will be careful on this one.

Yes I think many are scared because of what happened in that fight. In this case I think it's even more complicated to predict a result, the odds and overall doubt were definitely influenced by Ronda Rousey fight. Jury's out.
2656  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Satoshimines.com Review on: December 02, 2015, 05:36:18 PM
I'm a very casual gambler but the times I've played here I thought the system was very odd and something's was up. Like others have said there's no way you can really verify it's fairness. In some plays I felt like it was making me lose on purpose really. I didn't lose a lot of money, broke even I think or close to but it's just so random and chaotic that I would advice to try other type of games really. It's very easy to lose all your money.
2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 02, 2015, 05:30:19 PM
Charlotte Hornets   -Golden State Warriors i think this match is good to place on under 212 @1.84 because there will be much hard for Charlotte Hornets to make score points over 100 than it will be nice for under.

I think so this match will be finished around 203-207 points because Warriors are mind blowing with offense and solid defense so that thing is clear Hornets will face problem to make scoring points over 85 points.

I don't know, Utah's game was very close and the Warriors were contained very well. If the Jazz had executed a little bit better in the last minute they would've win that game.

I think the Warriors will win this one but they won't survive this trip. It's like a russian roulette session now, where's the bullet? Hehe
2658  Economy / Gambling / Re: UFC 194 Prediction: Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo [December 12, 2015] on: December 02, 2015, 05:26:45 PM
McGregor is the better fighter but I think Aldo is more dangerous has a little more experience. It's close but I would bet on Aldo just because the odds are more enticing considering it all.
