Private drones--isn't that an oxymoron?  What are you gonna do, keep it in your house?
Privately owned.... :p

So they're public drones, with private ownership Tongue  Problem is, nobody is going to want one around them, so how would it work?
The idea is you use them to keep publicly owned -and other private drones - drones away from your airspace. At least, that's how I'd use 'em.

Ha ha wouldn't be necessary if we'd all agree not to use them Grin  Like that'll ever happen.

They likely saved the webpage and edited BTC in.  Or edited it on the spot.

2726  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Do We Tolerate The Banks Printing Money ? on: April 14, 2013, 11:29:47 PM
Because some inflation is good for growth because it encourages the rich to invest their money in businesses- which create jobs. And how else would a national currency be managed?

"Some inflation" =/= printing millions upon millions daily.  You could first manage it by allowing competition.  Otherwise you're not managing it, you're simply shoving it down everyone's throats.

What problem are you solving?

This applies to everything the government "solves".  Sure, they'll solve a problem, after they create a problem.

"controlled by shadowy people"? Fail! Bitcoin is controlled by NO ONE

I think he's going to try to shine BTC in a bad light Tongue  It'd be suspicious if he was making it look like a wonderful thing.

Where's the Linux love?

McDonalds makes 1 billion less than usual

"Oh my god it's the death of the hamburger!!!!!!"
2732  Economy / Economics / Re: IRS to come after people for selling Bitcoins on: April 14, 2013, 07:31:02 PM
A law that states a man can love a horse would be legitimate.  That doesn't mean you have to agree with it.

Oh wait, yes it does.  Boy I sure do love this State business!
2733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Death of the PC on: April 14, 2013, 07:28:08 PM
While PCs 'death' is exaggerated, more and more people are going to be frequently upgrading tablets as opposed to PCs.

Moreso the casual crowd; I'm assuming this is why Windows 8 is tablet centered, even on gaming rigs.  But I guess most people never want to use a command line Tongue
2734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling 15 Bitcoins via Paypal! on: April 14, 2013, 07:22:07 PM
Even gifts can be reversed with enough moaning.  PayPal is just silly and I don't recommend you keep using them.

This week it's the Arabs and the Chinese? Seems like a different villain every week.

No kidding.  Everyone knows it's always the Americans.

Lolwat?  I'm assuming we're talking about Laptops and Desktops, since tablet-PCs are still computers.
2737  Other / Politics & Society / Re: License and Regulate Bitcoin Mining? on: April 14, 2013, 07:11:14 PM
I'm not entirely sure of any of this; however, if you post this thread in the Legal sub-forum, you're bound to get much more informed replies.
2738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC = Gold, LTC = Silver? on: April 14, 2013, 07:08:22 PM
Bitcoin rose in value because merchants accepted that as viable currency exchange media. LTC is not there yet. So, LTC has higher risk, but also higher gain.

I seriously doubt that any merchant will want ti juggle with more than one crypto-currency, so it is doubtful whether LTC will ever become anything other than what it is now.

That's what I was thinking.  However, it's also very quick and easy to switch between one coin to another, so perhaps a merchant back-end (something like BitPay) will allow a merchant to accept any currency and instantly convert it into the coin the merchant wants (or fiat.)
2739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC = Gold, LTC = Silver? on: April 14, 2013, 07:03:51 PM
The only reason would be that blocks are solved at a faster rate (I believe it's 1/4th the time BTC takes but I could be wrong.)  It's supposed to make it better as a currency, than a store of wealth.  However, if LTC gets that popular, I can only wonder if it'll face the same issues Bitcoin is facing now.
2740  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should US or other countries create their own cryptocurrency? on: April 14, 2013, 07:02:02 PM
Except nobody is going to adopt Patriotcoin.  Unless we really have regressed that far as a society.
