281  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Never use x50 on Binance futures, it is a fraud on: January 28, 2021, 06:54:45 PM
~

This is crazy. Why would you have an accusation to an exchange platform that keeps reminding you that going over 20x leverage and above is risky. Not a total defender for Binance, but trading with leverage in general is a risk one weak trader must not take. Also, have you risked all of your capital? If it was so, then you must be dumb. 20x leverage and higher are only for those with a proper trading plan and a huge risk appetite, and only as well for the trades that only risks a small percentage of the total capital, regardless of being cross or isolated. There are tons of futures trading supported by many trading platforms. It's all in your hands whether you win or you lose.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading bots can help you automate your portfolio on: January 28, 2021, 06:21:11 PM
What do you guys think about trading bots? Is it possible to automate your strategy and make money?

There are already tons of threads that talks about trading bots and a single search query can show them all, and this had been answered for many users. It is simple, trading bots are fine if you want to have a safe trading whilst having some things to do, but not that preferable if a trader wants to generate real profit. Some people think that using bots is like making a passive profit. Not all strategies are applicable in all times specially  with the market's volatility. That's just it.

Reading all the comments, I got interested in using bots for my trading. I've been using mining with different tokens , and it's been useful to learn about processes in this topic. Looking forward to reading more about this.

There are tons of bots that is trusted by many users in this forum and my particular suggestion is GunBot.
283  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Upon launching a new escrow service - looking for co-founders or partners on: January 28, 2021, 04:57:33 PM
If you build decentralized escrow, then perhaps the project will succeed without the need for partners or you to have any investor with you.
escrow service is often about trust, so it is best that you hire trusted members and make them use your platform.
Can you share with us more info about how it works?

Indeed. For many times that users in here tried to establish their reputation, only less had been a successful escrow. Hence a cliche service like this isn't a great business to make, adding the fact that there are already tons of trusted escrow services. If he would build a decentralized escrow, he might have another year of developing one, which might still probably hard to trust as well in the future (depending of course on their system and their marketing strategy).

@OP, One thing that you must sacrifice is to disclose your personal identity (which is so risky), but still have a good reputation first. Start from escrowing a little to huge. Again, even you might have partners, that wouldn't change anything, but might rather make everything harder.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WHAT happened to goosebet.io on: January 28, 2021, 04:15:05 PM
Goosebet.io, a gambling platform being inactive for weeks can already  be labeled a probable scam, and if still unable to reach for months with this pending accusations, then it is already a scam. Such gambling websites should have a plan when certain internal problems or system failure occurs and should have a backup plan or solution for it. One suggestion, you shouldn't let a gambling website be your wallet. If you would bet today, go deposit, but withdraw it if you would leave. And in general, don't gamble a huge part of your profit you cannot afford to lose.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️ BCH.GAMES ❇️ No KYC. Unlimited Free Faucets. Instant Cashouts.💰 on: January 28, 2021, 03:35:46 PM
Since you've amazed many  users in the forum, do you somehow plan to have a signature campaign in this forum? If it was so, I suggest you talk with Hhampuz with regards to that matter. Also, if you would still want to improve more  your platform, there are numerous ideas I would love to share that I think might be helpful.

1. Have a character - the competitors do often have some characters that portrays their platform. Since you have a good website, why not consider having some mascot.
2. Add more animation. It is fun to have a simple yet accurate in a gambling platform interface that is mostly contains of various animations and effects, but don't overdue it.

So far that's all what I can suggest. You started well and I hope you maintain it. Sig campaigns often creates a more constant growth in both popularity and platform clients.
286  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Fall Of Wall Street on: January 28, 2021, 02:57:52 PM
We saw the now famous Reddit and hedgefund clash with GameStop in the middle of it all. Looks like the gaming nerds of Reddit won this round and are going for more. But this won't go down without a fight, the Market Manipulation this season is going to be massive, even in Bitcoin WallStreet might decide to recover by liquidating close to $4-6billion.

This is freaking hilarious. Whales never expected to that the unity of small time investors and the gaming community would make a drastic impact to the market. But with this incident comes also with the whale's revenge. I've seen some rumors that some whales might now track of online communities and even personal conversations that talks about stock market to be used as a prevention for this event to happen again. This would only lead to the fact that the market would be more volatile and riskier than ever before. WIth regards to crypto market right now, such events can still happen, but not to the point that it would be the same as what happened to Gamestop.
287  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng back ups o storage ng Password on: January 28, 2021, 02:17:02 PM
~

Unpopular Opinion: Why not invest nalang sa mga mamahaling safety vaults na fireproof at sobrang tibay? Storing your private keys, hardware wallets, and even hard drives - na alam mong need ng malupitang security, is better to be stored in such places. I don't know pero may ganon yung fam ko and andon yung mga private keys ko for future safety purposes.

288  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid to make invoices on: January 28, 2021, 01:34:41 PM
Let's discuss preferably in PM, but here is ok.
I give preference to reputable posters.

Does freelancing have taxes in your country? I don't get the reason why you would hire someone to be your wallet for you to save taxes. If that is really your full-time job being a developer with international clients, well it's a wise choice to do this. But wouldn't you still be required to pay your taxes or you would label it as freelancing once there would be an accountant? I have a lot of friends whom are accountant and which I personally know well and trusted.

Also just to be clear, you are hiring someone to take the payment for your services then it would be taxed on them right? Apparently, earning around 10,000USD a month here in my country (PH) takes around 2,500USD tax if you would indeed take 10,000USD per month (damn thats huge). You might really have a hard time finding people that would have low tax for such huge income for a month. But still, list me up.
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for Trading on: January 27, 2021, 05:02:26 PM
@OP i think you should add this as well.

Have a trading plan.
Engage with other traders.

For many months of learning how to trade, I also keeps losing even I have enough knowledge in risks and making stop-losses. Having a trading plan relieves all the risks as you would have an overview on what would be your limit and what would be your next step once your trade is going green but you still think that pushing it is fine. Also, having group of people that is active in trading and would love to share their trading position is a plus. And your worries of losing would be less if your friends tell that their speculation is this and you would compare yours to them to come up with a better strategy.
290  Economy / Reputation / Re: I have message for Forum members on: January 27, 2021, 04:34:30 PM
If you not in this you should not be in crypto!
Here should be serious business mindset people only!

Damn... the tantrums.. so skewyri. lol. For the numerous years of being a reputable forum, you are now blaming the users that only do is to push back and stop those scammers away from the un-knowledgeable users whom were registered here for knowledge and engagement in the crypto community. I don't get why you still dare spam dumb reasoning about your 'business' offers. Dude, no offense, but have a job instead - have a life. Stop thinking that crypto is the 'safe-haven' and this forum is the way to start your ideas. As what I always reply on your post, stop starting from the top. You keep jumping on the end point without even working hard for it. If you want respect, you must give it first, it wasn't always given, it is earned.
291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PolkaBeam possible scam/copy project from Polkabridge on: January 27, 2021, 03:56:18 PM
Good thing that PolkaBridge managed to detect it quickly before Polkabeam started their private sale. Though this report can be a little helpful to the users here in the forum, there are no wonder that there would still be users that would be scammed by them as the Polka projects hype is increasing. I've even encountered with some successful scammers whom just had some days of having a private sale then went inactive.

This is really a bad thing for this polka projects that keeps popping out of nowhere. Even if I wouldn't see this post, I might be considering an investment on any polka projects just because most are really legit and good.  Sad
292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to get your first crypto Visa card!! on: January 27, 2021, 03:25:30 PM
I would really prefer the use of Crypto.com's VISA card like the OP does. It's KYC is pretty straightforward and simple so does its system. Good thing about it is that it supports Paypal and Credit transfers plus its perks is really awesome. I've recently got mine and still have no issues using it. Good thing that using it to withdraw is much cheaper than using my local cryptowallet for dozens of withdrawals and physical transactions.

I'm planning to try Binance card as well since I am fond of using their platform.
293  Other / Archival / Re: 1000 Bitcoin Hero Members Association on: January 27, 2021, 02:26:56 PM
Association handled by a full member? Hmm seems kinda legit  Huh. How abut us Sr. Members? Aren't we enough for your attention? LOL. You are just making a clan without telling your purpose. Note that such association here in the forum is often an issue as it can be used for negative purposes such as when a part of your association would be having an issue (negative tags or any sorts of issues), then there would be an unreasonable amount of backers whom would support without taking the context.

It's really a good idea to make friends, but at least have some transparency the first time you want to make one. Lol.

Also how about us sr members who can be hero soon? Should we pass our resume?  Cheesy
294  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] BTC Mempool Fees Extension/add-on for Firefox/Chrome browser on: January 27, 2021, 01:54:09 PM
No sorry, this is only extension and not a widget, so there will be no development in this direction, but you can try and visit source website we used like mempool.space, bitcoiner.live, blockchain.com or some others for doing this.

AFAIK you can still implement your extension to be a widget just by making it a little html element that can overlay on any website without bypassing any security nor getting any sensitive data. It is just really good to have a multipurpose extension would have such feature. But it's really just my suggestion, the extension itself is already useful so that there would be no active tabs running just the mempool nor reload it every now and then.

General question:

What do you think are the best API sources for estimate Bitcoin mempool fees and is there something better than three sources (mempool.space, bitcoiner.live, blockchain.com) we used for showing sat/vB fees?

mempool.space is already the top-tier mempool visualizer and there are no further APIs or platforms that performs better than it does. There are some from github isn't really as good as mempool.space.
295  Local / Pamilihan / Re: What If on: January 27, 2021, 01:22:00 PM
Kahit hindi gcash users kundi lahat ng crypto users sa pinas , andami ng issue ng coins.ph at andami na ding lumilipat sa abra, so kung magkakaron ang gcash ng bitcoin option then better place for us.

GCash wouldn't really be 'a better place' para i-store natin yung crypto natin for a faster physical transactions. Take note na kung ang Coins.PH is mahigpit na sa simula palang dahil nga crypto ang involve paano pa kaya sa GCash which is made by Globe Company. No wonder na di malalayo yung fees from Coins.PH and GCash if ever, and good thing lang kay GCash is yung ease of access and dami ng supported markets nito.

Overall, there is still a huge chance na mas maging negative ang outcome once na iadopt ng GCash and crypto, whilst having the fact na hindi pa ganon ka open minded and knowledgeable yung tao about sa crypto, mga risk nito, at kung bakit madaming naiiscam rito. The journey is still far para sa GCash.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 27, 2021, 10:24:56 AM
What is happening to the world of sports now? why do we have a lot of clown who try to ruined the reputation of the sport?

Dude since there had been a pandemic, some popular people really just wanted to have an entertainment, especially with the fact that the pandemic had affected the Boxing fights and the hype turns a little less compared to what it really was. It is not really ruining the reputation lol Boxing itself is a form of entertainment, and not limited to certain fighters alone.

This fight is still hilarious. 2 popular trashtalkers would fight for money and I somehow find this entertaining as its hype makes me laugh -- especially how those two would be trash talking each other. In fact, this kind of fights shouldn't be taken seriously. It's like you're watching an exhibition game yet you've think it is on the olympics. Chill guys, this is just for fun, either you bet and pay to watch or not, nothing changes in the boxing world.
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ 🚀 SatoshiHill.com 🚀➫ ➬ ➫ ➬🍀 on: January 27, 2021, 09:40:56 AM
I created an account there just to try it and I got some freebies last week. This morning I logged in and got another free 5 Bits. Looks like they are just giving away a lot of small amounts so you maybe will deposit. But I guess no one would do that in a site which is so unstable and a site which pays for positive feedback.

I noticed they updated the 'Free' page. Now you also can get freebies if you posts on more forums. First bitcointalk was on top, now it's somewhere at the bottom.

Would you still promote it? Damn I don't know why there are certain people that would really make an effort to create dummy accounts just to gain a little freebie from a fake and scam gambling platform. I guess the moderators should lock this thread so that there would be no spammers bombarding this forum that only posts the same review from time to time. Jeez I'll even report their domain as this might go worse if they still be able to fool users with their freebies..
298  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BREAKING NEWS! Philippine Central Bank Widens Cryptocurrency Regulation on: January 27, 2021, 08:51:11 AM
~

It is also hard to detect crypto users dito sa pilipinas kasi nga halos lahat ng crypto at blockchain system nito eh vinavalue yung privacy ng mga users. I think Coins.ph would really be harsh to its users soon and ang worse is baka each and every btc transaction is lagyan nila ng mas malaki pang fee.

Overall, hindi ito magandang hudyat sa future ng crypto sa pinas. I think madami rin magrereklamo lalo na't lumalaki na rin yung demand ng mga users.

Probably safe to assume na hihigpit saatin ang local exchanges, as to be expected naman. Kaya sa mahihilig parin magstore ng lahat ng funds nila sa Coins.ph: not your keys.. you know the drill.

Guess its time to use HW for safety purposes. Hopefully yung pag accept ng BTC ng Coins.PH is hindi sobrang mag mahal sa fees, pati ibang crypto na support nito. Para kahit papano makapagwithdraw padin instantly.
299  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] BTC Mempool Fees Extension/add-on for Firefox/Chrome browser on: January 26, 2021, 04:36:32 PM
Is it possible that you could make this an active element in any website? I mean once the user accepts and/or activates it, there would be an overlay element at the bottom-right of the entire screen that wouldn't be draggable or scrollable, just sitting there showing the live mempool fees and its changes (even for atleast every 30sconds or 1 min refresh intervals). Then it is also a good feature if a user is free to choose what theme of it as well, user preference = quality user experience. If you would love to see what I am suggesting in a clear layout, I'd be delighted to give one.  Wink
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 20, 2021, 07:16:33 PM
Overall, is it really worth it? Have you ever used a broker and do you think it's truly useful and profitable to do so?

Contrary to popular belief, betting brokers are really essential in various ways, legal or illegal. Many gambling platform often restrict users based on their scope on countries supported and this comes a benefit of using a broker, whereas you still can control your possible winnings -- only changed is that you are using a middleman or a platform that serves as a middleman -- which can only be illegal if and only if the platform/middleman isn't licensed nor registered in conducting its broker-like offers.

However, I haven't tried using one, but would soon as it could somehow save you time yet gives you a huge possibility of wins as well -- a lowkey win-win situation.
