281  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scammed $190,000 by Cloudbet on: November 22, 2021, 10:47:00 PM
If the OP can also move this to the right board - scam accusations - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0, and follow the format.
So people can help him address his situation according to the proofs that he will provide. Because if not, hard to chase a casino without solid proof and would be hard also for users that will help you.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and it uncertainties on: November 22, 2021, 03:50:31 PM
This thread is primarily directed to discuss how traders manage trading uncertainties how do you manage to decide on your trading in a volatile market such as cryptocurrency where price can change within some seconds.
Your questions goes beyond a dedicated thread!!! Crypto trading is and has been in full swing for years.

How do you manage the volatility? You pay attention to the markets, and you adjust and devise your strategies accordingly. To top it all up with the same layer of obscurity (because is something each trader learns for themselves and in their own time) it is all determined by experience with the lows and highs that it comes.

Also, accept the fact that once you execute the trade, there's always a chance that the price will go up afterwards. You can never tell the movement of the market. So if you are in profit, just be grateful that you are in the positive side but if not, you have other chances to get it back. Because once you completed your order, you can't reverse it, so you need to move on and not regret with your past action. I believe everyone experienced that even the long timers or so-called trading experts.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Just because prices are high, doesn't mean that is a good investment. on: November 21, 2021, 11:37:36 PM
It's always a good buying moment when the price is certainly low, but that does not mean that we should buy all those coins who have low prices.

That's the main concern of others, how to determine if the price can now be called "low"?

In that particular situation, people should make their own factors and criteria on how to able to know or determine if the coin's price is now good to buy.

I suggest that they just need to continue working with any strategies. As soon as they are used to it, they can now, at least, make a decision if the certain coin is now reaching its buying point without looking at the market chart.

A lot of these coins with low prices are not worth to invest with. One should look about the reason why it exists and why would it continue to exist? If you find that it has active application in the market and people are indeed using their app or services , then, they have chance to survive. But if not, don't bother buying this coin even if it is very cheap. Because you may be buying cheap coins but later on, it will be worthless and you are just holding worthless coins.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamentally good coins on: November 21, 2021, 10:40:56 PM
Which COIN do you think has a long term good fundamental future? Despite the TOP coins, that you think has strong team, model and in long term they will create the value.
When a coin is already not into top of list, then you must need to understand that coin is not having enough answers to all the criteria you have mentioned. Active devs and long term plans are most essential things for making a coin getting into to top in the list of marketcap or any other ranking.

So, it is not making any sense if you are looking for some other project which is still not into top but having all the criteria of good coins. If you are referring only new project then probably you may not get what you are looking for because devs may make up their project according to your criteria to look like a highly potential one but over the time such coins will get dumped and will be categorized as shitcoins by this community. So, it must be a good practice to go with top coins of crypto space because that will have comparatively less risk and better ROI.

Look for top coins with active use case in the market. Because their use case will make them survive in this market. Once the coin is only for trading purposes, and no other application, that's when it will start declining its popularity as traders will just move from one coin to another. Better watch out for coins with active developers like ETH or BSC, at least we know they are doing something for their network to adopt the changes.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: November 20, 2021, 12:40:19 PM
Before getting into trading you need to sake for some knowledge on cryptocurrency, you need to understand the market of cryptocurrency.
Understanding the market requires time. And this is where many won't take their time because they're impatient. But to those patient people that have tried to understand what's the market, they're really making themselves a favor of knowing the ups and downs of the market.
It's very important for them to get to know what shall be done and what to follow with those tips given to them as they start getting into trading. It should be learning first before they earn.

Learning how to trade crypto really needs time. You can't get all the necessary skills overnight. But one thing I can say, even if you don't have previous experience in trading like forex, you can always be a crypto trader. But of course, you can learn day by day on how to make a good trade. I am sure a lot of crypto traders today started also from scratch. You can always start small so if you incur losses, it is not heavy in your pocket. Every trader experienced losses at one point. But thru time, they can minimize it by applying their learned tricks.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: November 20, 2021, 05:59:46 AM
What happened here, Nominex does not have a market for their own token I was about to trade my NMX token but there were no pairs I used to trade my NMX with USDT but there's no market now including the Eth and BTC pairs, this is not good they should add liquidity on these pairs or the token will lose its value and reputation not only on Nominex but there are other coins/tokens don't have liquidity, they should act now.

Have you read this announcement when you open your spot balance?

I am closely following also with this development as I also have NMX in their exchange. However, I don't know yet how to use the binance brokerage account.

I found this announcement from their telegram channel and will go over as well.

287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2021, 11:25:46 PM
it's obvious mate the right time to sell it when you make a profit ,however as far as I know and understand Cheesy is anyone who hodl bitcoin in the past would have been lucky to sell it today or in the future ,do you need money? otherwise you have to hodl on until you are sure it is the right time to let it go ,back to yourself mate

If you want to get profit, then you can always sell it above your buying price. That is, if you are not looking for long term holding. Because the right time to sell is when the price is already higher from your buying price. But if you strongly believe the bitcoin's future and you are capable of long term holding, then, why not hold it? I say capable, because some people can't afford to hold their btc portfolio because if there are personal needs that he needs to attend to, and he has no other means but sell his stash.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoWar - A Metaverse Play-To-Earn Game on BSC, Polygon, Avax on: November 18, 2021, 11:10:01 PM
Just wondering why is this thread not attracting from potential gamers here? As we have seen, a lot of P2E gaming platforms are attracting interest because of the possible good earnings that a player can get. And with the integration of 3 popular networks, this will be an added interest. The initial investment of around 0.2BNB may not be good for small players, but still cheaper than other popular P2E gaming platforms.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IDEAS (IDS) - The Crypto kick-Starter - Applied on CMC and CG 🚀🚀 on: November 18, 2021, 10:26:36 PM

I've being reading the whitepaper, and I must say you have a very interesting project,
i like your website, and you have a well done posts on twitter,
good job.

you will do an update to the whitepaper?

Yes, when we start the next phase of the project where we begin working on the platform, and the phone application,
we will for sure update the whitepaper to a new version that coincide with the work at each stage.

The potential bottleneck here is how developers or potential investors will trust your platform if you have no proven track record yet? So at the beginning, how can you attract these developers to utilize your platform? Because if you are new here, I don't think many investors will trust their money to a fresh crowdsourcing platform. The locked tokens are not an attractive feature anymore.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: November 18, 2021, 09:30:15 PM
I prefer investing in Bitcoin rather than in real estate. There are some reasons for it. First of all, buying real estates requires more time and energy. You have to attend your property while in terms of Bitcoin, you just buy it and store then on your wallet. Bitcoin is more liquid which means that it can be sold easier and faster than real estate.
I find your reasoning odd for not choosing real estate when in fact that you can choose both of them. If you haven't owned any property or if you've got but too exhausted with the process, that's very normal. Although it's odd to me, I've been into real estate and also find those processes exhausting and taking too much time of mine but I cannot do anything with it unless I'm stopping to buy it. Just take both of them and you'll live your life with the best assets.

I agree with this statement, real estate investment not only leaves you a good way to have the money and to get fat as time goes by, it is what can be called a safe asset, because even in countries Like Cuba, a property is well valued and has high prices, although the BTC at the moment that is above $ 60k is an excellent investment, we cannot underestimate that it can fall to $ 20k or even less, everything is allowed in crypto Even the BTC market can take the turn that everyone expects and continue to grow, becoming a greater fortune, this means that diversification with both is a very good option.

If you are an individual who wants an assurance of their investments, you can opt for both - real estate and crypto (bitcoin). They have pros and cons, and consider the advantages if you can get a hold of both. Real estate once you purchased, will always be there, and usually, its price is going up in most countries and you can see it with your own eyes. Whereas, when it comes to btc, you have no assurance as its market is very volatile and it depends on how you manage it to take advantage of its volatility factor.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: November 17, 2021, 09:57:13 PM
What they need is marketing they last held their advertising when they are in their launching period, they should sustain it now by launching a signature campaign or a social media campaign, some old projects are doing it, they launch a new campaign, even a short campaign can make a difference.

I politely disagree. Last signature campaign could be one of the reasons we are on down spiral. Well that and lack of utility. I already asked them in telegram if they would host IEOs, that only NMX holders could participate to. Also would be cool if right to make IEOs would have to be paid with NMX.

Why did you say so? That the last sig campaign was the reason for this continuous decline? The allotted tokens for participants is small percentage only and it should not make any dent with the price. Aside from that, they are daily releasing it to participants so it won't make any big impact in the trading market.

Because what it conveys is that, even with bullish run of btc, their token is declining and we don't know why such unfortunate situation for their token exchange.

293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 16, 2021, 11:12:15 PM
I think it could be $750 by the end of December.

They all relies on BTC price if it goes above $68k to $72+ then there is every possibility it will hit that price.
so lately all ALTcoin has taken race so we have watch carefully and not to panic.

The good thing about BNB is that they are backed by the top crypto exchange and we know for sure, they are not going anywhere but move forward with their developments. They have strong foundation that increasing its value is very imminent. But yes, the trend may still follow the performance of btc but if you want a good assurance of your portfolio, BNB is still one of the few promising coins that you can hold for yourself.
294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brokers on: November 14, 2021, 11:16:24 PM
He wasn’t using a crypto exchange. Since he is referring to MT5 it’s usually one of those forex brokers which sometimes include CFDs and crypto to trade. The only way you can trade on those brokers is you deposit fiat and you trade basically a cash basis, so if you buy Bitcoin you never hold any physical Bitcoin, it just settles for cash when you get out.

Problem with many of these brokers is when you make a profit, they usually find ways to get out of paying you. Most common way was they say you took advantage of them when they had lagging quotes. So you bought or sold knowing the true market price when theirs was stuck or lagging behind, so you cheated and they will freeze your account. Nothing you can do really. Sometimes they just close your account and send your deposit back without any actual profits made during trading.
I still ask myself to this date what exactly is the advantage of using a broker to trade cryptocurrencies over an exchange. I have a friend who keep insisting on using brokers even after I suggested to him crypto exchanges.

What made him to stop using them was when they refused to process is withdrawal.

I have a friend also using broker to deal with her crypto, and when I started giving her options about directly using a crypto exchange, she seemed annoyed. As if I am suggesting a bad option for her and not trusting the broker. So I ended up talking about crypto with her, it is her money and decision anyway. Some people will really stick to what they know. So let them be, and soon they will find out the disadvantage of using such.

Based from the roadmap, this project is targeting about 3k+ store partners by 2nd quarter next year. May I know if they already signed a deal to some shops or stores? Because if they are targeting 3k+, it means, they should already be starting by now to collaborate with possible partnerships.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the future on: November 11, 2021, 11:43:38 PM
Actually, this is still happening right now. We know that gaming on blockchain and also with cryptocurrencies are still popular so far. We can see some new altcoins offer their projects based gaming.
However, will it survive during the next bearish time
I personally believe that as long as many more people or many people still play on that gaming, the project will survive because commonly the crypto is also used as means or in the game itself.
However, the price may be down like other cryptocurrencies will also face in bearish era.

Gaming industry has been here already even before the rise of these NFT-based or P2E crypto gaming platforms. So with this, I believe, blockchain gaming will survive even during bearish season. Now that a lot of gamers are finding a way how to earn from their passion, this will survive long. It is just in the beginning phase in terms of blockchain gaming.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: November 10, 2021, 11:33:40 PM
I have heard of Axie and know that the game is attractive too many people. Could you guys share with me that how much does it cost to begin with Axie Infinity game?
You need three Axies to start playing: https://opensea.io/collection/axie
If you can't afford that at the beginning, you can apply for a free scholarship and share your earnings

There's a lot now to read even just heading to their site - https://axieinfinity.com/, you can already get a lot of info.

And yes, being a scholar if you have no extra funds to pay for those AXS.

https://leveldash.com/axie-infinity-scholarship-guide/

This is getting popular these days, the P2E gaming platforms. There are others who already launched their P2E games, even there's one which is free.

my deposits are not credited after 5 confirmations

Have you contacted their customer support? As per item 7.2 of their terms and conditions, bitcoin deposits should be credited automatically after 1 confirmation and you already have 5. By now, it will have more than that. So they say, if it did not arrive, contact their customer support.

The OP here is still active so if it has not credited in your account, maybe try to reach out also to him.
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: November 09, 2021, 08:42:03 PM
I doubt that people would call crypto trading a bad thing in a forum called "bitcointalk", if there is a "forextalk" then go ahead and check that out and ask the same question and they will tell you that forex is more safe and crypto is bad. This question has answers based on who you are asking and not based on data.

If you are a good trader in crypto you will be great in crypto, if you are a bad trader in crypto then you will lose money, if you are great at forex you will profit there, bad at forex means lose there. All in all it depends on you and how you can do it, there is really nothing that makes everyone be the same and suddenly this is better or that is better collectively.

We can't really generalize this aspect because every trader has their own strengths and weaknesses. I do agree that if you ask those forex guys, they will have the opposite opinion. For them, it is safe to do forex trading rather than crypto trading especially if they haven't done any crypto trading yet. But if you are a long time crypto user and haven't been in forex trading, you will be more comfortable to trade in crypto. But it doesn't mean, you are guaranteed safe because it depends on the coins that you are going to trade with. So in this case, this depends on the person, the capability, his knowledge and skills towards these 2 types of trading.

🧉MATE - a super-fast and secure DEX
that allows you to exchange any BSC tokens.

Didn't know this new DEX in town. And they also have the usual farming and staking. But in this case, they are dedicating their platform to BSC tokens. Saw that BFG token has a slight increase in price - $0.03 now. That's nice, even if we can see that the increase is slow, as long as there is active happenings in the casino and players are increasing, the future of BFG token is somewhat secure. Having more than 6k online players at the moment is I can say, they have one of the most active players among casinos here.
