I do not mean to sound like a troll, but I have seen this trend in many coins before. It usually means the death of a coin. At least preventing it from major rises in the future. It does not matter how many things the dev has in the pipeline if nobody is willing to invest. So how can we recover through this? I bought in at 25 sat so im still holding, but to scared this is a repeat of every other coin that has been pumped.
Coming from a newbie you have quit the experience. Can you please give us a few examples of coins you have witnessed doing this? Aur, MZC, UTC those are just the ones I have direct experience with. Not saying im right just giving an observation. Right now its looking grim. Not bashing mearly looking for a peice of wisdom to correct my illogical fear, if their is one. Also, I saw you in the whitecoin thread don't tell me you think that coin has legitimacy? Legitimacy has nothing in common with making something by trading the coin. Believing is one , profiting is something else. The examples you gave where some scams from the stars. I don't buy the "nation" coin thingy. I saw BTC dropping even worse and is still there. Just like some coins are still alive after 3 years and almost nobody knows about them |

Ok over an hour after the IPO has finished and the developer is not online.
I guess now all there is to do is watch the bitcoin get moved into the guys personal wallet.
Why would that happen? Isn't this the purpose of an escrow? To keep the funds till the dev delivers the coins and the code? |

With the same amount of money, would you be able to buy 200,000 coins tomorrow at the same price or would it most likely be higher?
And what about the next day?
And what will happen in the end? As this obviously can't go forever? . The multipool buys no matter what happens. it will go on for the rest of the year. Just like in business crypto is a competition. We should be in it to win it. If Dogecoin made then it so can we! Blackcoin can be easily branded from a top position. The devs realize this so they are doing the responsible thing and focusing on marketing. That will allow adoption. The pool is doing their job and pushing the price that allows for attention. The investors are in it because they know all of this. The coin will rebound. I want to let weak hands know that so the distribution stays level. No it can't. There is a moment when there will be no more coins to be bought...if that is not happening it means there are more coins at a time dumped that the mining pool can buy. So the price is going down... end of circle If your scenario happens obviously it can't go on as there will be no more coins to be bought. So , no , in both scenarios. |

Sorry, trying to get some work done today instead of spending too much time on here. :-)
So far for Foundation budget spending we have 2 million earmarked for Moviejump when he completes the video.
Foundation could use some more members, so please post your interest here regarding joining and share a little about yourself.
Will be getting some organizational stuff done for the rest of the week to help with some of the logistics of adoption.
Try to keep the coin as decentralized as you can. The more power a foundation and a few members got the closer it is to failure. I'm no fan of "foundations" since the scandals in which the BTC one was involved. My recommendation is that once the coin is healthy and the dev team has a core group working on the source repo that the foundation only works on promoting causes, adoption and other areas related to finding uses for SAT. Ultimately it is the miners/pools that have the power to accept or reject changes in a coins algorithm and that works as a check against developers. I agree with you and the plan is good in theory. My fear is that we might see the same things that almost happened with BTC , and those plans the foundation had by themselves affected the trust a bit. Happens when the dev and the promoters and the big bag holders are all in Unfortunately nobody can predict the future. |
