It's funny how I mined 30 of these coins and didnt sell when they were like 2000 USD. Actually it isn't fucking funny. Im not selling them now at current price, I will hold for the 0.000000000000001% chance that the whole monetary system collapses and somehow AUR gets picked up by Ireland lol.
If the whole monetary system collapses , I doubt that auroracoin will save the day. Even the BTC fanatics don't wanna see a huge collapse happening overnight. And , there is also the slight chance of 0.0000000000000000000000000000001% that indeed , auroracoin will be picked up by IRELAND  . |

He's saying that he has more bitcoin than 99.9% of the people in the world, in other words he has more bitcoin than 6 993 000 000 other persons, and probably more.
In fact the figures are even more in his favor as there's probably less than 7 000 000 bitcoin users, but for his initial statement to be true (he owns more bitcoin than 99.9% of the world population combined) only less than 7 000 000 need to own bitcoin.
And if he has at least 0.1 btc there are at most 500k people richer than him in btc terms > Those numbers can make even the smaller BTC holder feel a bit better. |

I was under the impression that Israeli businesses signed up to sell their products in ISR. Altho i cannot find a place to spend my ISR other than a couple of exchanges.
Whee the hell did you get that idea? The Israeli dude who pitched opening a pool for ISR over some of the other crypto's I was looking at starting a pool for. I guess I should of done my homework. On a positive note The network speed has increased to 0.65 GH up from a low of 0.41 GH and i have even noticed it go back to 0.75 GH sometimes. The hashrate has nothing to do with the success of a coin. And is the case of nation coins it has even less impact. I've been observing hashrate for different coins for a while and there is almost no correlation between this and price. |

DRK is killing every MintPal coin right now.  Well , have to agree that coin is doing great at the moment. Too bad I don't have enough to even bother counting. But at the same time I wouldn't say it's killing everything else. That's how it works on MintPal. Altcoin with the highest % change gets MintPal bandwagon followers. Yeah , but it's temporary...and it's not enough to say it's killing the other coins. Just attracting flies , or bees , not to give the wrong picture . Temporarily hurting would be a better sentence. And about that "hurting" , it's hurting only the price , not the coin , not the project. (hopefully). |

Dev will claim he is still working on coin, but is stuck on 56k dail-up internet when it comes to updates or news.
Its sad because this coin is on both cryptsy and mintpal, which it doesn't deserve.
Someone fork this coin, make it 100% PoS, slap on 50% interest a year using NVCS, and inject some life into it.
Also, the dev can lick my left nut, you had your chance and you blew it, BIG TIME.
I don't understand this PoS fad. Is this same as Apple fad? Cause PoS does not give a single advantage except to large holders that too when inflation is too high. Auroracoin hype > nation coins Blackcoin hype > pos coins Dogecoin hype > meme coins PoS coins were around long before Blackcoin. And how many were before? Bump.. Bigger bump.... Careful not to hurt somebody with that big bump. At least try to hit the dev , he might wake up . Is it just me, or did this seem like it may actually be something worth mining? I have begun to think the Dev was abducted by aliens or something... really weird sudden disappearance. I have no clue about the profitability of mining this coin right now , but one thing is for certain .. I'm going to bother with it since there is no response from anyone closely involved with it |

According to Coinmarketcap the biggest volume is for Doge/CYN on Chinese Exchange BTC38. The Exchange stopped Yuan deposit on the April 2 http://www.coindesk.com/btc38-suspends-trading-cites-china-central-bank-guidance/ make off it what you want. After that is Cryptsy. Third biggest volume is on Chinese exchange BTC100. Next is Canadian owned Chinese exchange bter. bter is not a registered company in China, the only other not registered exchange in China was fxbtc and it closed up shop last week. Anyone dealing with bter is stepping in very thin ice. Next in line is Mitpal and its volume totally collapsed and there is no buy support.  Market is more or less centralized to Cryptsy. On 20.12.2013 ~ 216k unique address where used to sent doges, on 22.01.2014 ~ 163k, on 23.02.2014 ~ 56k, and on the 24.03.2014 ~ 26k. Yesterday about 12k. Its becoming more centralized.
