Are we in the midst of a pump and dump? Considering the lack of volume one wouldn't think so but with the price having been slightly increasing since about 20:00 EST last night until now I'm wondering if a dump is in our near future?
Stop seeing pump and dumps with every 10$ price move  . 10 dollars is like 2%, right. Was analyzing Mt.Gox price data from 2010. There were some mighty pumps and dumps. 20-30k BTC volume in 5 minutes. Price swinging by 5-20%. Then when you look more carefully, the USD volume is <10k$. It was nothing more than somebody's fiat just cleared.  Buying and selling BTC1k now is very probably just normal balancing of portfolio for a merchant or exchanger, or investor. I agree that this small change in price is nothing. And if I look at the graph...it's not even a 10$ price change , if you exclude the dip yesterday. |

I'm also buying some YC, this coin is going to have a big future with this strong community so keep calm because news are going to appear, people is going to get interested and thiscoin is going to visit the moon!

Because it's not a pump and dump coin. It will price in due time but it will be late for those that overlooked it. This.. I would rather invest 100 btc in a coin that grows based on adoption and use than 10 btc in a hype coin with no practical use. |

I've been saying that for a while now.... forking it + invalidating the 21 mill coins JP is holding. It doesn't matter if this is a scam or not. An inactive dev is reason enough.

I am not sure if buying 1 BTC of marucoin is a good idea considering the dev hasn't been really doing much to help its growth.
Another day, another vaporcoin. Thing is, this is a really good coin from the looks of things. I don't understand why the dev has gave up on it. I also do not think it should be abandoned. google on marucoin have 10 content. Compared to WC, shibe, BDG better. A lot of people concerned. MaruCoinOfficial should be active enough in this forum. This is the best promotion. We support marucoin. I hope MaruCoinOfficial have confidence in ourselves. Here we also say: Maru difficulty now is very low, but also the best time of mining. Just because you're better than a real shitcoin it doesn't make you successful... get over it , there are 10s of coins like this one popping each day. |

These sell walls are getting pretty hefty - I suspect a certain group are trying to keep the price down because no one in there right mind would add to a 400LTC sell wall at 2 Litoshi and a 600 LTC wall at 3 lol People who actually want to sell there coins dont put sell orders in, they just watch and wait for the buys to start. Let's see what happens when the whales decide they want a chunk haha
Or people want to be the first selling at 2,3 litoshi and not the last ones at 1 listoshi. |

Been a lot of talk over on GDTalk.org live chat box recently about setting up a Global Denomination Stabilization Fund (GDSF). Just wanted to take a moment to explain some things here. Below is essentially my ideas for how it would work: HOW?- You send BTC (or other altcoins) to GDSF.
- GDSF transfers BTC to exchanges and places GDN buy orders.
- GDSF takes bought GDN and equally disperses it amount the charity funds.

- Help charity funds at the same time.
- Supports the GDN community as a whole.

it comes to this... every miner has a vote for how many coins they want in the next reward all the votes (from every miner) are averaged out every 3600 blocks (5days), so if there are 2 miners, 1 miner chooses vote 1 and the other chooses 1024, then the reward would be 512 for 5days choose wisely. if you choose high (1024) the reward could be higher then now but price would drop because more coins would be available on other hand if you choose low (1) the reward could be lower and probably price would rice because less coins would be available... This is going to be fun Probably the first coin doing this kind of arrangement for block reward? |

Come guys!!! Work a little for your coin. Everybody has multipools, reduce the block rewards, change to POS, give something back to the miners/investors.
So if every coin would start using multipools , change to POS , will this ensure a bright future for all of them? Btw , miners already got their coins , investors their investment , and the risk with it . |

Potcoin is crumbling as well. Check their thread out. Someone was attacking the coin with some sort of timewarp exploit. Potcoin in pain , dopecoin in pain , which one is next cocainecoin? |

I think the problem is volume of trades.
On mintpal, volume easily jumps from 20 btc to 1 in a day. It's about 1.5 BTC a day now, pretty low.
If nobody buys, the price will go down and volume will stay very low.
Same with nobody selling but the price will rise even with low volume. |
