But there are so many ways that this has the potential to go in a positive direction.

There isn't really any positive potential. Musk is a narcissistic authoritarian. People who think Twitter is now being "censored" might like the new direction, but it's just going to be same shit on a different shovel, or he'll 4chan it.

He's an egomanic who can't get enough of himself.
2862  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buying Property With Crypto (Bitcoin) on: April 25, 2022, 03:05:46 AM
Are you able to buy a property with Bitcoin yet?

Im mainly looking to buy in Asia, Thailand, and Vietnam region.

Can I buy directly with a Bitcoin transaction or would this need to be converted into FIAT at some point?

There are real estate websites for buying property in Crypto but Im not sure how they facilitate that.

Perhaps they take the BTC then send the fiat themself and act as an escrow.

Would love the Bitcoin Talk opinions on this.
 Grin

Honestly, I am not sure. My country does not forbid it. But I have yet to meet someone who bought their house with Bitcoin here.

A lot of country's governments are very against the idea of letting people do as they want with their newfound financial freedom of having Bitcoin. This is why selling and buying with Bitcoin is becoming increasingly hard in those countries.

I do not understand the governments issues with understanding Bitcoin. If they accepted Bitcoin as payment for taxes then perhaps they would be more relaxed with the idea. Perhaps they fear people dodging tax responsibilities with Bitcoin? Seems unlikely they can do anything to stop money laundering with Bitcoin but to be honest it is easier to launder with cash.

2863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 24, 2022, 05:29:58 PM
We've seen a lot of new casinos having issues with how to start promoting their project, they just come here to post their thread and that's it,  we have seen members recommending casino admin or representative get a copper account and hire a designer to design their thread this happens so many times.

Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain the Trust of the community and start on the right foot
take the case of Bitlucy where bounty manager Royse777 is the one opening and managing the thread, the thread is just perfect and everything on the casino home page is well placed.

Do you think it's a big advantage for the new casino that they have a bounty manager to be part of the team, we have a good lineup of reputable managers here.

I think that as long as the online gambling casino is being promoted by someone who is holding funds and is well trusted in our community then they are playing on the safe side. You don't need a bounty managers as much as you need someone to hold funds. Escrow, basically.

However we have had bad bounty managers in the past, those who did not pay out or pretended to never even have received the funds. Those kinds of bounty managers were quickly weeded out though.

As long as someone is performing escrow duties and the payment is in a listed cryptocurrency, preferably Bitcoin, then I do not see a downside. If you are worried then stay away from new casinos or casinos with a bad reputation. Especially one with scam accusations, stay away from those.
2864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez Title Unification Fight (April 30) on: April 22, 2022, 08:14:23 PM
Only 10 more days until the Stevenson vs Valdez title unification fight!

Stevenson said in a press release that he's going to show Valdez and the world why Oscar "ducked him all this time". Big words for a man with a head full of confidence. If he loses that is going to have an embarressing toll on his ego.

Honestly I can't really stand cocky quotes from fighters before the fight, but since he has been allegedly waiting over 3 years for this fight, I guess we can't really deny him his excitement.

Although I still think Valdez will win. Hes been 4-0 since moving up to 130 pounds, winning the WBC belt from Miguel Berchelt. Stevenson might get humiliated. Grin

Shakur Stevenson is really that confident because he thinks that he can just have an easy fight towards the Mexican fighter, all he have is just a reach and height advantage while Valdez have the rest of the advantage like the power and KO capabilities. Judging by their past few fights, it really shows how Valdez is an exceptional fighter than the cocky Shakur. I hope he's not full of talks, 1 week left folks.

I have not heard about Shakur Stevenson saying anything about being the better fighter than Valdez because of Valdez s Mexican heritage, however, if that's true, that would only make me cheer for Valdez, out of respect. Valdez is definitely an amazing fighter. I do not underestimate his mean hook.

It's nice if they do some trash talk, it's important to sell the fight. Usually, the one that does the trash talk are the less aggressive fight because the more aggressive fighter will always do the talking in the ring, so that will make the fight to be more interesting. Anyway, this is already a popular fight, just in case they want to add some spice though.

Indeed trash talk seems like a PR marketing tactic which all fighters like to do before a fight. It does heat up the fans just before the fists start flying, maybe it even makes them cheer harder for their favorite fighter. But racist remarks might deeply hurt their fans and they might lose fans, even.

Obviously not a smart move in this case.

Stevenson is not a very smart man, perhaps too many blows to the head made him simple?
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 21, 2022, 08:43:20 PM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?

I don't really like to think of crypto profits as something that you should take out as in convert to fiat or immediately spend. I only have fiat profits from crypto trading and I put those profits into the investments i believe in. Anything else is halfhearted investing which won't work out in long term
2867  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: April 21, 2022, 09:26:04 AM
I was thinking that "Casino" is gambling game played by players in this forum. Because I am seen the name everyday, so today I decided to find out how the game is all about.
When I googled the name, then I discovered that it is an establishment for different types of games. Such as: Dice, crabs, black jack keno etc. That is, it is a facility or a platform for gambling. Simply means. It is a building for games. https://www.quora.com/What-is-a-casino

And also. Most terms use in the gambling platform confused me so to contribute and comment is not easy. But I know for sure that it is for the mean time, I will get all for the free flow communication. But if there is any board that I can learn those terms. Please forward the links for easy and faster learning of the terms.

Well of course. Its just basically a digital version of any gambling casino building that you can find anywhere in the world where gambling is legal in some form. Personally, I prefer the real life version as the physical aspects like touch and smells are also included in the experience. And you even get free drinks now and again. But online gambling casinos also have the advantage of not having to go anywhere and a much larger pick of games to play.

Although in connection with this forum, the main advantage is using crypto to gamble, probably. Grin

Fun times, either way. Unless you have a gambling problem.
2868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 21, 2022, 09:14:06 AM
The dream of every successful businessman or woman is to have a good successor. you can not be in the light in which bitcoin has brought you to and allow your children to suffer because you failed to teach them the secret behind your wealth. Let your kids know that bitcoin is the surest way to financial freedom, teach them now that bitcoin is of more value than fiat currency, educate them about the importance of bitcoin to mankind, let them know that bitcoin has changed the economy of countries who saw the light in it and adopted it as a means of doing transactions.

Now that your kids are young and vibrant, be their tutor, ensure they are bitcoin oriented, save them from financial dependency, encourage them to rely on bitcoin instead of saving fiat currency that Depreciates now and then.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.

Bitcoin demands a good pair of steady hands and an emotionally sturdy mind. Best way to teach them about money is indeed to teach them about Bitcoin. But this is not the only important factor. They should also learn about the difference between fiat and Bitcoin and why Bitcoin is better.

Teaching them effectively could prove to be a bit difficult seeing as children are easily distracted and the Blockchain technology behind Bitcoin is no walk in the park.

Maybe start out by finding ways that they could gain interest in Bitcoin by making it relate to the things they already really like. Finding that connection is what might prove to be a challenge though.
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really on it's death bed? on: April 21, 2022, 12:56:37 AM
The panic is gaining momentum with the recent dip in Bitcoin. What is really going to happen and how do you feel about it?

Heres the thing, my newcomer friend:

We all panicked when we were newbies and every single dip was scary. And trust me, Bitcoin has had waay scarier dips than this. But Bitcoin has always managed to bounce back and go higher than ever before. So we have learned to control our panic over the years and put solid trust and hardcore faith into our Investment into Bitcoin.

You need not panic, rather than that, we are collectively waiting on the next goal: 100k USD per Bitcoin.

Sure, we might have a scary drop before that, but don't let fear get the better of you. Either you trust your investment or you shouldn't invest.
2870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 21, 2022, 12:48:21 AM
We all understand the value of e-sports in today's era and it is indeed a great deal is a company is all set to develop more free e-sports games
According to the reports Incentive Games have already signed up to do the following, they have already developed 21 e-sports games and of which 14 are totally free to play as well, therefore getting in cannot be more affordable. They would be focused on games such us :
Quote
The first game developed for Esports Technologies will centre around the Counter Strike: Global Offensive marketplace, with further plans to develop Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant-inspired games

Now e-sports technologies and incentive games have now entered a license agreement where they would be providing the users more free to play games using their algorithms based on free to play games in the casinos as well. This can be a game changer since most of the times in e-sports having to pay to wager and play can be a big deal for small players, this can not only help them secure a wide range of audience but it can also help change the whole e-sports gaming as a whole.

Don't forget to check out the source : https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/16044/incentive-games-signs-up-to-develop-free-to-play-games-for-esports-technologies

What do you think ? Are you going to play on these platforms? I do believe most of the users might already be using them and seeing this incentive get bigger would certainly bring joy with increasing the free game diversity on the sites.

Hmm, well call me a Pessimistic Peter but I think that the main problem will be that this is going to be taken advantage with dirty marketing tactics intended to lure in more players or perhaps there will be some kind of shady "payout" system but only if you do certain tasks and or play certain non-free-to-play games. Because I don't really see an upside for free casino esports games without any kind of bonus for the users other than to play the game without entering some kind of risk.

People who come to online gambling casinos sites usually want to risk something. So what kind of target audience can we get here?
2871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 20, 2022, 11:25:53 PM
This is step in the right direction by crypto.com in her goal to creating more aweness for her crypto exchange and in other way increase cryptocurrency aweness and adoption. If other exchange or companies should join hand together or embrace other methods in pushing this Blockchain technology forward, this will help speed up adoption more than we expected.

It's just another marketing ploy, but I can't understand how it can affect the UFC fights themselves, or the fighters. Yes, there will be additional bonuses that's good, but it won't solve anything. For the fighters themselves, if they are not crypto enthusiasts, then these bitcoins will not solve anything, they will either exchange them for fiat, or simply leave them on hold as some kind of investment in the future. Or maybe when they own bitcoin, then they will begin to study what it is. )

Any PR is good PR. Especially for Bitcoin in the hands of influencers and big names like UFC fighters. Not only does this create the chance that the fighters will become Bitcoin fans but they will spread that Bitcoin hype to their fans. And then we have an entirely new network of Bitcoin hodlers. Thats a big deal.

So basically the only statement of your post that I can fully agree with is the very first and last sentence. Everything else is plainly wrong. Mass adoption needs us and we should be pushing it as much as we can. Every hodler has this noble duty and every little bit helps.

So please don't be so pessimistic Smiley

I agree with goldkingcoiner here but also worth remembering the best CMOs for bitcoin:
politicians

no better marketing for a censorship-resistant store of value than politicians printing a lot of money, devaluing the currency, sanctions, so forth and so on.

That is exactly right! Politicians doing PR for Bitcoin is pure gold! Politicians also are just "influencers" who have a bigger fanbase aka the whole country's population Smiley

Just watch, There is a chance that Mexico makes Bitcoin legal tender in the near future, and as that happens I think it might create a pump up to 20-43x for the Bitcoin price.
I get my numbers from the population and GDP relativity. But my math does show me a definite pump over the possibly upcoming Mexico news.

Remember the impact on current price that the El Salvador news had about making Bitcoin legal tender?

I think that 1win.pro should seriously address the scam accusations more earnestly. I still do not understand the source of the withdrawal problems that some users seem to be having? Also, you say 500% bonus to the first deposit in the title of this thread but you also claim you would need to deposit multiple times to get the full 500% bonus? That seems a bit like false advertising if you ask me...

Is there any reason why you created a new thread although you already have one?  These are all questions that you need to answer before we put our trust and money into your platform... Undecided
2873  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: April 20, 2022, 07:39:12 PM
The way everyone is sanctioning things in Russia, it seems there are no one living in Russia that the 144.1 million people are not human LOL

Imagine from the point of a Russian Civilian who is not supporting the war in Ukraine, who wants peace dialog and want to see the brotherhood between these two county. But just because he is a Russian now he can not visit an EU county or in a state of America , he can not have assets in these regions, he can not conduct any business at all, his assets are being seized . He has no right in those countries. Or may be he is in any of these countries living for long time. From now on his life will be a harder. The Russian military is killing innocent civilians but the rest of the word is making Russian civilians life a misery.

What are we achieving from this WAR?

PS: This is not an statement in favor of 1xBET and 1xBit . These scammers should not be existed in the first place.

I completely agree. If the Russian government lifted the 15-year prison-sentence threat for anyone protesting the war, we would at the very least see half the country rise against Putin.  15 years in a Siberian Gulag is a tough pill to swallow for normal people, so therefore I am not going to betitle those who have been scared into silence as cowards.

The blind hatred towards Russians, especially those living in other countries is disgusting. This is how things escalate towards mass xenophobic genocides. Although we are not quite pushing Russians into gas chambers yet, I still don't like seeing innocent people beat up in the streets or having their cars lit on fire because they spoke russian in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Look at what some countries like Croatia are doing: taking away citizenship from Russians. So what, deport them into a warmongering country that they don't want to live in? Great idea, Croatia. Genius idea.

2875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is truly missing in the Bitcoin ecosystem to get this to the masses on: April 20, 2022, 03:56:43 PM
So I am sure this has been discussed multiple times before, however as I enter into the rabbit hole of Bitcoin, I am interested what others see as lacking in terms of how to get this to the masses. I run a node and LN Channels, however not being a developer, I wonder what other roles are out there. Would like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

I think we just need more practical use cases which are no complicated and as easy as pie. People need to start small with things they already know. After they have gotten in the Bitcoin game that way, they might be interested in learning the more complicated ways of the Bitcoin world. At some point I definitely believe that they will be interested in learning more. Bitcoin itself is very fascinating when you see your Bitcoin money gaining on FIAT money but it becomes much more fascinating when you find out blockchain can do much much more than that.

Hello dear people,

Why i need 5k$ ?
I already have plan how to gain 500.000-1mil users in 1 month with only 5k$ and that is where i am lack of right now.
So if there is anybody who wants to share profit with 5k$ investment please Dm me or contact me on contacts below.

From 2.000$ investment to 200.000$ in 1 year.

Thank you.

I would be careful with giving people estimates on returns on their investments. That can be considered a big no-no, especially by government regulatory bodies like SEC.
Furthermore, I doubt you can convince people to give you money. I see a few problems that you are have yet to address. First of all, you have a newbie account and those account types do not spark any kind of trust, especially since there have been so many scammers trying to fool people on this board.

Secondly, I do not see a team or anything that shows who is willing to accept legal responsibilities in case things go south.

Can we see a business plan? What have you achieved up until now? Who are your partners?

Lots of info missing, so I will have to pass.

I really do not understand this obsession with Elon Musk that some people seem to proudly flaunt in front of others. You guys know that he has never actually discovered or invented anything? He is just like Steven Jobs who told people what to invent and then acted like it was all his idea.

His cars are cheap trash that only sell for a high price not because they are of high quality but because they are overhyped. Almost any other electric car has a better build quality without the fancy shenanigans.

His rockets all fail sooner or later, even if he does manage to land a few of them every now and then. His satellites keep dropping out of orbit and his neurolink BS is never going to work for humans in the way it was intended. And it has horrible side effects which lead to death or permanent disability.

So what is the fanboying about? He says he likes Dogecoin and everyone rushes to buy that useless crap.

He is just an narcisstic egomaniac who can't stop inflating his own ego.
