2941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: May 06, 2018, 03:30:26 PM
Does anyone know if this guy went ahead and sold? We only hear about when people are buying, as it is a way to try to sway the market towards being bullish. But is there anyway to know if this guy sold? Is there anyway to track his coins or are they on an exchange? How do we even know he bought, this could all just be a lie.

I don't trust anything unless it is FULLY proven with FACT and sources. This is nothing until proven.
2942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you using a Public DNS server? your coins are at risk ! on: May 06, 2018, 02:35:50 PM
While this is something which is pretty smart, If you have some sort of 2FA setup with your wallet you're going to be fine. So if you do have some other precautions in place then you're going to be good to go. I would always recommend having 2fa with authy or google authenticator.

Though with the chance of losing your coins low due to DNS risk when simply using google dns servers (or someone like cloudflare) You're going to be saving a lot more time with using the other dns servers, which is going to have to be put into account when thinking of what dns server to use.s
2943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just sold all my BTC because on: May 06, 2018, 02:25:23 PM
I'll do you one better. Your poor ass never had any bitcoin.

You are here to spread lies and try to confuse newbies into thinking abojt Ethereum and BCash.
Ethereum serves completely different use cases and it should never be a choice between BTC and ETH. You should own both depending on your interest while BTC is a must.

BCash on the other hand is just another alt-coin being propped on Roger Ver's sly marketing and media's ignorance. Only a fool would trade their BTC for Bcash at this point.

Probably true. Though I don't understand when people say they're going to try to buyback into the market when it goes lower,it makes no sense to try to time the market. No one has the ability to know why the market does what it does. Things happen.

This guy is most likely going to miss some sort of run due to the fact that he is trying to time the market, that's something you shouldn't do. Either stay in, or get out.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bubbles a good thing? on: May 06, 2018, 04:51:24 AM
Bubbbles aren't a good thing in the least, and when someone starts calling something a bubble and PEOPLE AGREE THAT IT IS that's when the real problem starts to come to fruition. Only when people notice that the growth of something can't continue to be sustained is when the real problems come out. So a bubble, which is something which can be popped at any moment, isn't good in the least. It's not something which you ever want people to think bitcoin is.

This is because we will be destroyed (from the investing side) if enough beleive this. This is when people lose faith in bitcoin, and we don't want that.
2945  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin cash (BCH) is a poor idea. on: May 05, 2018, 02:53:41 PM
Bitcoincash has had a good price increase recently, although dropped by double digits today, so there must be a good core of investors interested in this coin.

I wouldn't call it investors in bitcoin cash, that would assume that they're in it for the long haul. I would call them day traders or speculators, they are people who are trying to pump the coin for a short amount of time and them dump it once it reaches their price zone.

Bitcoin Cash also gets a massive amount of advertisment just be being the #2 bitcoin, this is because their marketcap is high (due to the fork form the bitcoin chain) which forces them to look like they have a ton of people involved. When they really have a pretty small volume of traders.

Bitcoin Cash is a fraud and scum on this community trying to trick people into thinking that they are bitcoin, which isn't true in the least.
2946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is yobit a PnD site? on: May 05, 2018, 02:40:53 PM
Even lots of issues throwing against yobit,im still believe that this exchange is good for the starters or those newbie and want to learn about trading,as this site has lotof coins to offer,no matter what many says i am once a yobit trader until lots of issues comes out and my capital is getting bigger, then i need to withdraw.

As i observed that lots of complaints against this site are more than digits of btc is concern, but i have not read below btc complaints, this upon my observations no offense

'Good for the newbies' Yes, it's good for the newbies if you'd like for them to think that all of bitcoin exchanges are filled with scams, shitty coins, and are just simply shit. Don't let the newbs go on a shitty site like this cause they're going to think that this is what bitcoin is allways like. Get them to use the good exchanges with the AMAZING support, like binance.

Binance is MUCH better then yobit.
2947  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: May 05, 2018, 05:58:04 AM
The only thing which is going to push crypto into the real world is adoption, we have to make adoption easier and more accessible for businesses. Becuase changing from the bottom up doesn't seem to be working, and isn't going to be beneficial for companies. The only way this is going to work is if companies adopt bitcoin to accept it as a payment because they think they're going to be able to make more revenues or save on some expenses. If it is smart for companies to take crypto, and they're well informed on it, then they're going to do it.

We need adoption though.
2948  Economy / Economics / Re: Brazil in the process of regulation. Good or bad? on: May 05, 2018, 05:39:34 AM
It matters who you are. If you're an institutional investor who needs regulations to make sure that you're protected, then you're going to be pretty happy with this. If you're someone who doesn't trust the government, then you're of course going to think that this is an attempt by the government as a way to shut down bitcoin and try to centralize control.

Who knows if it's good or bad, we're going to have to see what the end result is.
2949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Exchange to use? on: May 05, 2018, 05:12:14 AM
I wanna advice for people most comfortable and profitable exchanges: Huobi/Kucoin/Binance. You didn't should do KYC, low commissions and fast withdraw.

Did you really just advise someone to circumvent KYC laws? Those are laws for a reason. I know everyone on here hates the government, but it's not like they're doing this out of the hatred for people. They're doing this to ensure that companies KNOW WHO THEY'RE DOING BUSINESS WITH. Some of the best exchanges, like GDAX from Coinbase (and coinbase themselves) require KYC info cause they're in the US.

I would like to see you using Coinbase (with GDAX), Binance (even without KYC laws, that's something they've decided to do as a company)
2950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is yobit a PnD site? on: May 05, 2018, 04:56:32 AM
Pretty much, yobit is one of the exchanges which is a shitcoin site. They profit off the fact that no other exchange would even dare to put up this random shitty coin and people are forced to use them cause they're the only ones around. I wouldn't recommend anyone using them, as Yobit has a pretty terrible site, pretty bad customer support (they barely respond), and overall it's a bad experience.

If you want to try to say I'm wrong, try to use them compared to binance for 20 mins.
2951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Tactic For The Upcoming Btc Crash on: May 05, 2018, 04:44:18 AM
We have been waiting a long time for this, everyone is curious to what exactly is going to happen. How much are we going down, where will we find support. What will be the outcome of this.

My 2 questions to you guys is:
- Do you have any tactic going into the crash, we might get one once the future trading starts.

For example: Going into 1 or 2 altcoins that might be good hedges against the BTC.

Last question:
- What will happen to alts?

For example: When BTC was skyrocketing towards $19k most alts were red, what do you think will happen to alts if the opposite happens? Will we see some green or red only?
My only plan is to hold and invest. I am awared that the market value is naturally volatile. Dumps are just temporary and there's no need to worry whenever the market price is falling. I don't know such things as altcoin that can be good hedges against Bitcoin because all cryptos are dependent with the demand and that's equality.  As we can see, while the price of Bitcoin is falling, same thing happens with most of the alts.

This right here, not even 'professional traders' both here and in the stock market can't time the market. What makes you think that you're going to be the one that cracks the trillion dollar code? There's no chance that you can do that. Your best bet, as history has told, is to let the market ride and to just HODL. That's what has worked for so many for so long. Anything else is just you taking an enormous gamble and praying for the market to work for you, which it so rarely does.
2952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The only way to successfully trade the market "Best strategy ever" on: May 04, 2018, 04:26:50 PM
I'll try to summarize this for all you guys who want a TL;DR: basically the best practice is 2:1 ratio what this means is that after you buy you set your sell target at a 10% profit and set a stop-loss at 5% below the price you bought.

You can't do this sort of thing, if you have a stop loss at 5% you're going to hit that in a day in crypto.Crypto goes up 5-10 percent in the matter of a few hours, if you are to follow this you're going to miss out on some big gains in crypto -- if the market does go up.

If you put the stop loss at 25% that makes more sense and matches the crypto volatility -- do that and you'll be good. Set sell target at 10-15 percent.

Goodluck folks -- I still like HODL more then any other strat.
2953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to rise? on: May 04, 2018, 02:26:21 PM
Who knows, no one in crypto is going to be the ones to know, nor is ANYONE going to know what's going on. There's a good scene from the wolf of wall street which displays it when they say that "It doesn't matter if you're Warren Buffet or Jimmy Buffet, no one knows if the stock market is going to go up, down, sideways"

The market will do what the market does, it will go up and down. If we knew if bitcoin was going to rise or fall we'd all be betting big on the market-- but no one knows.
2954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why some ICO required KYC? on: May 04, 2018, 12:16:00 PM
This is due to regulations on a country by country basis, depending on where they're starting their ICO. I know in the US anyone who is starting is an ICO is required to KYC or Know Your Customer, which pretty much means they're going to have to collect some data on people so just in case the regulators want to audit / know what's going on they're going to be able to get the data with ease.

Makes sense as most people aren't going to report ICO earnings which they without a doubt have to do.
2955  Other / Meta / Is the merit system flawed? on: May 03, 2018, 08:33:10 PM
I personally am not a big fan of the merit system for ranks on here, I think it pushes for people to simply beg for merit, account farm, or pay people to give them merit. As there is no incentive at all, for people to give away their smerit to others -- which doesn't make sense to me as people don't want to hand them out.

What do others see in regard to the flaws for the merit system? I'd love to see what some others think.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Is Getting Bitcoin "Accepted" As A Form Of Payment So Important??? on: May 03, 2018, 05:27:42 PM
Because once bitcoin is accepted as a means of payment this is when bitcoin is going to be able to be used as it was though to be, because Satoshi never wanted bitcoin to be an investment as it is now, he wanted it to be a global currency which was going to revolutionize the world.

At some point, this MAY happen -- but the world governments will make it hard. It's not going to be easy, and it's not going to be guranteed.
2957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't Roger ver showing all how the industry will behave in the longterm Future? on: May 03, 2018, 05:20:21 PM
the industry will nevertheless constantly try to sell cheap coins for really hard produced products, lieing to everyone about their legitimacy, till they get bashed as they constantly are already begging to get regulated, or at least regulate themselves.

as soon as they try to exclude others from creating and market their own money they get issues,

and they exclude already.

They do this as they know they can manipulate the markets on the small coins, something which isn't possible (without large-scale manipulation) on something like bitcoin as the market cap is too big to be manipulated. But they do this on the small coins, buy large positions when the coins are worth nothing and then push it up with their media presence.

It happens in the real world, and it happens here as well.
2958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading tips based on years of experience --- by Raja on: May 03, 2018, 05:07:54 PM
I've failed to understand why some people think that they know all in crypto just be being here for a long amount of time, seniority really means nothing in an industry which is new, has much pretty much rallied in growth by a massive number, and is relatively unknown to most people.

Golden Tip of crypto - Don't get involved here if you wouldn't get involved with penny stocks.
2959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is how scammers scams [BE ALERT] on: May 03, 2018, 04:15:29 PM
So sometimes I do not believe in post only on fb as long as I did not research well. It's sad that innocent people do not know the blockchain and believe in easy money making. Beginners should be aware of cryptocurrency. Beforehand they should study, for they will not be fooled.

Most people should know that these aren't true, but there are the small group of people (the ones that buy the get rich quick stuff) that think that this is going to be the sure thing that sets them off. They have an addiction to super risky investments which are USUALLY all frauds anyway. But people must know that this is the thing that's going to kill us, it makes the perception that crypto is full of scams, hackers, etc, that are all trying to steal your money.

We have to break this mold for the sake of crypto, and for the sake of us LASTING and becoming a currency at last.
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no doubt that bitcioin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency on: May 03, 2018, 04:14:21 PM
While this has been said time and time again. simply repeating something isn't going to make it true. Most of the othercoins in crypto are shitcoins, the only ones which are notable (but in my view still can't takeover) is a coin like Ether.

Ether is the only real coin that matters, and even that doesn't have the history, the amount of money involved, and the amount of people involved (people using it for a currency) for it to takeover bitcoin in its control over the market.
