hi, cant see d3pool on online services tab, please help
They have enabled some DDOS protection where their API's only can be access from a web browser. I contacted them a few days ago about this to find a solution.

In the past Ethminer had an API compatible to Claymore Ethereum miner. If you enable the API of Ethminer and use an External Miner in Awesome Miner where you specify Claymore Ethereum as software - is that configuration working?
hello, patrike

I have a feeling that there's a bug in Awesome Miner with per day/per month profit numbers when dual mining with Claymore ETH Miner.
I guess that Awesome Miner doesn't take into account the profit from mining second coin and shows eth-only profit.

the numbers in "view details" window are correct, but current profit seems to be always lower with the same hashrates as in profit profile, and the difference is almost equal to profit from second coin.

can you please take a look at this. thanks
Hi.
Is this on version 4.5? If that's the case, please try again on version 4.6 that I will release in a little while.

Hello - Is there a way to see windows uptime instead of miner uptime or both?
Hi. Today you can only see the Windows Uptime on the Summary tab.

I will make a small change to the next release to make it possible to use the "Customize Progress Field" feature to get the Windows Uptime listed there as well.
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/customizefield.aspx

You will be able to use an expression like this in the next version of Awesome Miner:
Code:
"Windows Uptime: " + string.Format("{0}d {1}h {2}m", TimeSpan.FromSeconds(system.WindowsUptimeSeconds).Days, TimeSpan.FromSeconds(system.WindowsUptimeSeconds).Hours, TimeSpan.FromSeconds(system.WindowsUptimeSeconds).Minutes)

Is there any APIs planned for adding/remove groups? Moving miners to groups? And adding/removing miners?
No plans right now, but I always try to improve the API based on feedback. Your requests are noted. Thanks!

BUG: Not sure what causes it, but sometimes the Awesome Miner Remote Agent randomly toggles the 'Automatically start when windows starts' option.

FEATURE REQUEST: If the Awesome Miner Remote Agent application is running, don't run another instance (and by extension, another duplicate mining instance).

The issue this comes from is that I have a script set to run various tools and other monitoring software prior to launching the Awesome Miner Remote Agent.  With both of the above issues, the Agent would launch preemptively, as well as twice.  This wasn't related to any software updates, and would sometimes re-enable itself right after I turned auto-launching off and rebooted the computer, but other times it would stay off.  The frequency of this occurring was directly proportional to how likely it was for me to walk out the door. /s
I've not been able to reproduce the autostart issue. If you or anyone else figure out more details about this, please let me know.

I've implemented the change for Remote Agent to enforce a single application instance, to prevent any second instance of the application to start.

Please note that you also have a feature in Awesome Miner where you can delay the autostart of miners. In Options dialog, Advanced section you can for example specify that the Managed Miner autostart shouldn't happen until after 60 seconds for example.

If your external miners just use the given ip address as name, it would be really comfortable to be able to select more than one miner to delete from the miners list the ones you don't use anymore (one is allowed to select and delete), than going to the options tab, external miners, than try to figure out which one is not in use anymore.
I've just implemented this for you. In the next release you will be able to select multiple miners in the list of miners, and remove all of them in a single operation.

Question:

Is it possible to enable just some algos for a specific pool ?
For example I noticed that a pool is terrible on some algos and I want to mine just the selected algos on that pool, that I observed they are handled well by the pool.

Thanks.
You can go to Options dialog, Online Services, and configure which of the predefined pools/algorithms to include for the profit switcher.

Let's say you want to mine Neoscrypt, but not Zpool Neoscrypt. Then you edit the entry for Zpool Neoscrypt and uncheck "Include in Managed Profit Switcher". You can also use the Bulk Edit button if you want to include/exclude many pools from the Managed Profit Switcher at the same time.

Patrick,

Can we choose to order the coins value and online services by profit and not by revenue? Some algos take more power and the profit is lower than the revenue...
I will make Revenue and Profit two separate columns in the next release. This will make it possible to sort on any of them.

Will this allow Profit switching to work, based on Revenue? For example if a card is making profit of $2 on NeoScrypt and power cost $1, the Revenue is $1 and the same card is making $1.8 on Eth and the power cost is $0.5, the Revenue is $1.3 I wold like Profit switching to switch to ETH. Right now the logic in profit switching will switch to NeoScrypt. Em I correct?
The profit switcher is looking at the profit (revenue minus power cost). If Ethereum gives you a higher income when power cost is taken into consideration, Etherum will be prioritized.

There are however a bug in version 4.5 (latest public release) where the power cost was ignored in some profit switching scenarios. That's corrected in the development versions like 4.5.5 and will also be part of the public release 4.6.

Are there any plans to support Ethminer?

https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases

I find it more efficient than Claymore.

Bump.  I use HIVE OS primarily but monitor the rigs using AM with each HIVE Rig configured as an external miner.  Works great, but now that I'm running Ethminer on some of the rigs, I can't monitor from AM due to lack of support.

Is Ethminer on the roadmap for AM?

Quark Bug:

There is a bug when using Quark algo. It is not calculating profit correctly. If I set my profit profile to 50MH/s with Quark the coins profit is far higher than if i were to change the coins set algo to something else and set that algo to 50MH/s in the profit profile.
The formula for calculating coins per day (which is part of the profitability calculations) are different on the Quark algorithm compared to almost any other algorithm. For this reason, entering the same coin properties for two coins, specifying Quark as algorithm for one of them and for example X11 on the other, the results will be different.

It might be that some specific Quark-based coin uses yet another formula - please let me know any details if you run into this.

coins again to update whattomine, many thanks to those who repaired the API
It looks like it was resolved on the WhatToMine side, where their API now works like it used to. Let's keep an eye on this.

v 4.5.5

Profit switching calculation seemed bugged. right clicking details of each miner now shows profit per day which works for individual coins/algos profit calculation, but mix that up with Online Services which I think give revenue per day or due to MH/GH calculation (this was not Yiimp, but NiceHash) my miners were mining random Sha3 and Blake2s..

Online Services shows
Eth
Equi
Neoscrypt
Lyra
Nist

Details Tab:
Sha3
Blake2s
random coins
and everything else negative

On the same profit profile....disabling all online services restored more or less normal behaviour....looks like profit/revenue conflict and online services (predefined or User Defined) took precedence regardless coins tab profit info.
Hi,
Can you send me some additional details about this issue or maybe the log file? I would like to investigate this a bit more.

Keep in mind that Online Services can show more algorithms, that actually will be ignored by the miner because the Profile doesn't have any mining software enabled for this specific algorithm. If for example Claymore Ethereum miner is disabled in the profile, Ethereum will not be considered by the profit switcher and will not be displayed in View Details. The Online Services tab do still list Ethereum in this scenario.

I'm trying to work out a solution for the WhatToMine.com API's with their dev. Right now the API's are blocked with Cloudflare where you only can access them via a Javascript-enabled web browser, but not from an application. This will result in that Awesome Miner, and other applications and services using the WhatToMine API, cannot get any coin statistics from WhatToMine.com.

Is this issue resolved ?

Should we stop Awesome Miner and start using Nemos Miner  because of that one has many more miners and with default configuration Nemos Miner uses the best miner for each algo, providing the best possible hashrates, having more than 10 ccminer forks with the best default preconfigured values for each algo.

What do you think ?
No official statement has been made from the WhatToMine team yet, so I don't think anyone knows the exact status or the way forward yet. I'm getting a very large number of request about this issue right now, so I will of course implement any solution that WhatToMine present - but hopefully they simply resolve it on their side.

It's also important to understand that WhatToMine owns their data, so I cannot try to "steal" it in some smart but unsupported way.

All profit information from Nicehash, zpool, MPH and so on still works fine. It's only individual coins listed on WhatToMine.com that cannot be accessed at the moment. Everyone using the WhatToMine API's are affected, so a change to another application would be of no use.

How can I add blazepool as a profit switching pool like zergpool, etc?

just tried this today myself, step to take is as follows:

1. Options -> Online services -> Add... (User defined online services)
2. Service: Custom (Yiimp compatible)
Algorithm: (respective algo you wish to setup on the pool)
Algorithm API identifier: algoname specified by the pool API (eg, bitcore, blake2s....etc, as per pool API...each pool can and likely be different...for blazepool, refer to http://api.blazepool.com/status)
Profit factor: leave at 1 for starters and change later as you see fit
Password(optional): c=BTC (required for blazepool I believe, else just the usual you'd use with most Yiimp based pools)
Include in Managed Profit Switcher (checked)
Pool Name: A name easy for you to identify and manage
API URL: http://api.blazepool.com/status (for blazepool)
Pool URL: stratum+tcp://<ALGO>.mine.blazepool.com:<PORT>
Bitcoin Address: <Your Bitcoin Address> (really is the -u <WALLET> for the Yiimp based pools, so if on a pool that supports altcoin payouts, you are free to put address of the payout coin here)

3. After setting them up, just refresh Online Services tab and its view filters and see if your new service is setup properly, and stats pulled matches the pool or if needed to adjust profit factor

hope it helps.

Hi moppidoo thx for the post

I Bought this program a few days ago and still learning but I tried to follow your guide here and for me with version 4.5 I don't seem to have the option to add "custom (yiimp compatible)".

For me in the "add.." tab under "user defined online services" Next to service
I don't see any custom option ..

not sure why

The feature to add a custom Online Service entry like described above is currently only available in the latest development version of Awesome Miner. To get access to development versions, open the Options dialog in Awesome Miner. In the General section, enable Check for development versions. Then go to the Menu and click Check for updates.

The feature will also be released as part of Awesome Miner v4.6, planned to be released within a week from now.

Sorry, and one additional question.  Is there a block explorer api anyone has found for Siacoin balance?
Finding a good and accurate SIA coin Block Explorer has been a struggle. Since version 4.5, there is one supported and you will find it if you select Sia Coin when adding the entry in the Options dialog.

However, there have been instances where this block explorer simply isn't correct either - and Awesome Miner will only be able to display the balance as reported from the block explorer.
2999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Request: Summing BTC in Unpaid Balances on: March 18, 2018, 05:23:04 PM
any chance we could get a sum of the BTC unpaid column in Balances, the way the $ unpaid is summed?

Would be quite useful as this column should always be increasing (until payment) whereas $ can fluctuate up and down

if it would be too long to insert directly, then perhaps a tooltip?
I've implemented this change as suggested - but the total value in BTC will only be displayed if all the items in the list are expressed in Bitcoin as well.

Good morning Patrike, I've got a few development requests for you today  Grin

I'm not sure if this is even possible, but is there a way my plugins can externally use your C# interface so you don't have to keep making HTTP APIs? All the code I am writing is in C# anyway.. seems like duplicated effort.

And if the above isn't possible..

HTTP API Request

Can I get a way to set a coins image in the coin view? When the entire coin view is just "?" images it's a little depressing looking. A POST with a filesystem path to the img would be great! (Highly desired!)

Interface Additions Request
If possible, add a column on the "Coins" tab called "Coins Per Day" which will of course calculate your hashrate and the coin specs and show an estimated number of coins
If possible, add a column on the "Coins" tab called "Coin Rating" with an HTTP API to set a numeric value (0-10)
If possible, add a column on the "Coins" tab called "Coin Liquidity" (will represent coins BTC trading volume) with an HTTP API to set a numeric value (any)
If possible, make these new columns able to be toggled on/off so people not using my plugins do not have a more cluttered interface (although I think #1 will be useful to all)

As always, thank you!
Hi and thanks for all great work on the plugin.

Your requests are noted.

For the images, you can already today put a png-file named for example LTC.png (use the coin short name) in one of these folders, and Awesome Miner should pick it up:
- The folder where AwesomeMiner.exe is located
- The user folder %appdata%\AwesomeMiner\
