Yes, we get rewarded for each block found. You'd get (Block reward + txn fees)*0.991 * 0.012%, that's approximately your proportion of the pools hashrate though it's really based on shares but it's close enough since kanosan wrote it!

Block Friday, Dammit!! CMON BLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!TM bern
though you are allowed to set a higher diff than the pool calculates for you if you want. As kanosan has stated, won't affect your expected rewards but could increase variance if you set if very high for your hashrate. I do it, but just a bit higher than pool calculated for all my miners put together to make it like one big miner. Make sense? Mine on dammit!

My miner keeps falling back to its third address. Kano: I use miningrigrentals to control the pools I connect to. I haven’t rented it out in a long time. You haven’t banned me because you think I’m a renter, did you? I know you said earlier you ban rentals...
I'd have to agree with Runes. Just mine directly, here preferably! Mine on, and let's get this Friday Blockalanche started!!
Yeah, I'm watching it very closely for the BitCH coin exchange rate to get up enough for me to ditch the ones I got from the fuck, oops I meant fork, of the real BTC...! I'd like to shoot another miner to the pool and get rid of that nasty shitcoin at the same time!!

Can someone explain how the percentage works? I thought that each block was a roll of the dice. Once a block is generated, everyone starts over rolling the dice as fast as they can. (hash rate) The way you guys are quoting percents, makes it seem like we are "assembling" a block and that it will be any time now before it is complete. Forgive me for not understanding how pool mining works.
That's how pooled mining works - the one lucky hash solves the block, yes, but all participants are rewarded for the work they submitted to the pool based on the system used, in our case PPLNS with 5d being the N used here. Solo mining is an all or nothing proposition... Mine On!!

C'mon Juvia...! Hit me upside my head with that block...
Your assumptions are weak at best, and unrealistic at worst. So your conclusions are useless and certainly not worthy of "I told you so" More like "I hope so" /ignore for you genius. Back to on topic discussion: can't wait to dump my BitCH coin and get another S9!
Neither of which was proposed better than the other in my reply... but I will say I do both! Mine, and invest, on! Edit- And yes I have S9's in my Droid collection, and will even buy another if only to use the BitCH coin I got sitting around from the fuck, oops I meant fork...
You're assuming that BTC stays around this price level. Many of us miners, feel that that stance, is flawed. <snip>
Not just flawed, patently untrue. Which direction is the question, and I'm betting long term it's up, up, up!
You get lots of false alarms from the Android app for some reason... No one likes a tease! Mine on and let's crack this sucker!
Actually there's even one more, not widely known juju maker that long-time kano-ites know... Something to do with unusual headwear...

Fastest solution would NOT include sending the whole unit back to Bitmain. Anything but that! Short version: Bought an R4 Jan 2017 Sent to hosting facility Ran for a week then one board craps out Sent back to Bitmain for warranty repair - $$$ shipping cost Came back a month later Ran for a week then one board craps out again Sent back to Bitmain for 2nd warranty repair - $$$ shipping cost Bitmain will not repair R4, offers replacement T9 I ask for S9 instead due to similar W/GH as R4 They agree and state will ship Oct. 2017 - it is now Aug 2017 Actually shipped end of Nov. 2017 What a waste of time and coin...

I finally got around to install the android app, but it won't authenticate my API, it says "Checking BTC address" then "Invalid BTC address......"
yeah, i didn't put my btc address in there, I put the api key
Try generating a fresh API key, I think I had to do that once...
Mine was doing that too just a minute ago, now ok again, possibly related to the API shutting down when the website is also down. And you get repeat block alerts from that app all the time! Mine On! (silently hoping for restart blockalanche!)
lets promise some merits to the next block finder ) wtf 2 200%+ blocks in a row
What about the 4 sub 50% blocks we just got before the last one? Hardly wtf, but FTW!! Mine On!
...I'll think about running 2 separate 110V PSU's <snip>
This FTW.
It sure has, Network diff keeps going up so coins/THs will go down no matter where you are, but we still get more here at kano no matter what people who don't fully understand PPLNS say... Mine On!
Changing the 'ramp' is not how PPLNS works, nor would it be appreciated by those already at the 5Nd. If you want less 'ramp' time, increase the pool's hashrate by mining here!

Y'all come back, ya hear!
