This situation with Electroneum is literally awful. No active support from the team, ASICs ruining the value of Electroneum even though there's sort of a mini alt-coin season right now. ETN now out of top 100 coins by market cap (currently on 102nd rank). Developers are NOT taking the fork (which can make ASICs ineffective) seriously, they're way too slow right now. Awful graph, can be something worth it to buy right now (buy the panic - sell the happiness) but is definitely risky.  |

Why this coin uses equihash as PoW algorithm? Why doesn't it use others such as Lyra2, scrypt, SHA256, X11, etc? I am mainly interested in the technical reasons behind this choice. I know there are aspects of asic mining, but maybe there are more reasons...
This is a clone of ZCash minus any upgrades/updates/dev fee. ZCash uses equihash as PoW algorithm, and as this thing is a clone of it, it uses the same equihash as proof-of-work algorithm. ZClassic is a fork of outdated ZCash and since the first day of its birth, it hardly got any good upgrade/update. |

It looks like I'll be losing some money today. I made the bet in favor of SRH against KXIP. However, it looks like SRH is about to lose their match (if so, it will be their first defeat so far in this season). Chris Gayle is just unbelievable... He single-handedly destroyed the SRH bowlers.
SRH lose their 1st match in this season and you also lost your bet bad luck bro. In this season most of the matches chasing team won the games but in this match, we have to appreciate Ashwin he took the risk and opt to bat first. a fantastic century from Gayle he made his 6th century in IPL and he is the 1st batsman score more centuries in IPL. Dhawan was injured not bat today I think this is the reason SRH lose thier match. Gayle is literally a make-or-break batsman. He either does everything or does absolutely nothing. Today was his day and he won the man-of-the-match award with an awesome century. The first loss of tournament for SRH and something that will boost up the morale of KXIP for the rest of the tournament. Next coming up tomorrow is CSK vs. RR in Pune. |

Is there any prediction site or person who is predicting the IPL, if so share those details, i find it difficult to understand which team is in good form or not as on their day they are performing well and on another day just mediocre performance. Today we have Kings and Sunrisers, with the form Sunrisers are in they should win the match but if Gayle regains his touch then it is game over.
Actually, literally anything can happen in cricket and specially if it's a T-20. Twenty overs game can go in any team's favor as they're just 120 balls and with 10 wickets. T-20 in my opinion, doesn't depend on the good form of a team, it depends more on the luck of a team on that certain day. If you're predicting the result of an ODI match or a test match based on the past performances and current form, then that makes some sense. But a T-20 match is pretty much something that can lead to a result that looked like totally impossible before the match. |

I tried that, not on 1200 Watts PSU but on my CX750M (750 Watts PSU). Yes, it did work out, but it was an experience that throughout kept me in despair. The ups and downs of voltage, the fluctuation, etc, was something that could've literally ruined my whole rig. On the other hand, it was a petrol-powered generator so it was not efficient enough as well.
I then moved to a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) instead of generator and it worked out good. You should do the same.
