'I'm trying to hold it together': Anderson pays tribute to 'idol' Cook

Man... Alastair Cook really is leaving the international cricket for good, at the age of only 33.

But who is Arthur Hayes? Not so many persons know who is it exactly.

Maybe I'm not right, but I don't think that this is the real reason of this dump.

I think the real reason is unsuccessful ICOs which feel lack of money and sells everything they raised to ensure a continuation of their work

The real reason is that whale traders loaded up on ETH when no one wanted it or cared. First by the tens of thousands at $0.50/ETC each. Then loaded up again at $18/ETC for several months (during the whole DAO bug fiasco).

You don't think they have plenty of ammo to dump/short ETH into the ground even at the current price? Or just trade for more BTC at this point? Oh boy they do. They can keep this going for quite a while until ETH is back at $18 or lower.

The very definition of a massive, coordinated PnD scam.

 Grin Grin Grin

LOL at his Twitter username... "ALTLOVER"... Grin

Plus, "Ethereum is not a security!"

Moreover, I don't think Vitalik even owns any Ethereum (or any crypto) now.

Furthermore, Bitmex just can't control Ethereum.

With Vitaliks ridiculous economic statement on crypto. That may be the beginning catalyst of the ETC flippining.

I doubt that.

IOHK CEO Charles Hoskinson: "Vitalik is right, we probably have touched the ceiling of 2nd generation blockchain."

IOHK team is responsible for core development of Ethereum Classic, and they consider ETC to be 2nd-gen.

What if... after this match, Alastair Cook decides to take back his retirement decision?

Do you think so? But I don't think he will reverse his decision.

India requires another 406 runs to win this match and they still have another seven wickets in this last innings. Pujara and captain got out for duck (zero) and Dhawan scored a single run in second innings. England last batsman played more responsible batting than Indian captain and other top order batsmen. It is a high time for Indian cricket board to sit back and look into the basic issues where they are making mistakes while choosing to team for test matches. So far, it is the worst batting display from Indian team in this innings.

What a come back from India before this partnership India were 121/5 and everyone was thinking that India will lose with huge margin but Rishab Pant with K L Rahul partnership took india to 304/5 and last session of the final day started and India needed 159 more runs with 32 overs Left. England will be very much upset as they were very near to win this test match and now the match is turning towards Draw or India win. If India won this test match then once more history will be created with highest run chase in test match.

India lost the match by 118 runs and England won the series by 4-1. It was some real fight by Rishabh Pant but proved to be not enough for the India's win.

@chris200x9: Yes, I do have a feeling he'll do that.

Be careful with the possible wave of more dumps if you're trying to take an advantage of arbitrage here; it's risky.

2635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux) on: September 09, 2018, 08:59:31 PM

Hi guys, my RX480 mining rig is having a problem here.
2 out of 6 GPUs hang after 5 mins of mining with Claymore miner, please refer to the screenshot below.
The rig is powered by 2 750w psu.

I’ve tried reseating the risers and lowering the OC, but the result is the same.
Previosly the rig was running at a steady rate , after i relocated the rig, i have this problem.
Any advise is appreciated.

Two 750W power supplies should be enough to power your rig so we can, probably, rule out power problems (as a check use a power monitor on each supply - just to be sure).

A couple of things you could try.
Run the rig with only each of the 'faulty' cards individually to check if there is a problem with the cards - disconect every thing but the card under test.
Strip the rig down completely (leave CPU place) and re-build it, it's the hardware equivalent of "Have you tried switching it of and on again?", you never know what may have been knocked out of place during the move.

Thanks brother.
I’ve temporarily remove the 2 “faulty” cards for now and will try your method in awhile. Will give an update soon.

Are you powering up both the cards from same PSU?

Everyone has been extremely bearish. Could be a bullish sign, as Theymos mentioned.

At any rate, I can't imagine us going below $3K.

LOL, I am pretty convinced this shit is going sub 1K. Years from now and it will be remembered as a scam of the century, it actually is, admit already that all you are waiting for here is just new bunch of idiots with student loans. No difference with 2014-2015, but this time it will never hit even 10K.

What a waste of a Legendary account... Roll Eyes

We're not waiting for student loans, we're waiting for institutional money flowing into crypto, bro!

See ya after a few years when the reserve of central banks will be measured in BTC instead of USD!

The most confused people in the world right now are... ZClassic holders. They didn't get the $200 pump they wanted, now with a day left in bitcoin anonymous fork, they're not sure when to dump, LOL
2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 08, 2018, 11:22:30 PM
England are in total control of this test match, if they can bowl India out for around 230 and take a 100 run lead into the second innings then I think they will go onto winning the test match. India really need to fight hard here with their lower order making at least 100+ runs and get as close to England's total as possible. If they can then its any ones test match to win but right now England are in control.

For England Butler and Broad gave a good innigs that is why they were able to make 300+ runs, Butler is proven success player to involved in this test series as most of the time in this test series he has come to rescue England from difficult time. Now India needs this pair to perform well and make some runs. 3rd day first session is important as if one wicket also fell then India will get all out before 250 score. Now this last test match is in 50 50 position with England having slight high chances of winning it.

India's new batsman Hanuma Vihari has made quiet an interesting start. First he was not declared out by the umpire while it was actually out, and English team didn't take the review, then he was declared out by the umpire while it wasn't actually out, and he took the review. He seems to be settling up finally and currently sitting on 25 runs overall. I've a feeling he'd score a lot more tomorrow, continuing his at-the-end-of-today momentum.
2640  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice for new users regarding CLOUD MINING on: September 07, 2018, 10:34:42 PM
DrG has definitely worked real hard in building up this thread and I must say that it's a must read for newbies if they're looking to invest in cloud mining contracts.

Please do keep updating this thread @DrG! This industry is still young, even though you've been around here for 7 years (so it might not look very young to you) but yes, it's still young. Newbies are still flowing into crypto everyday and they do require advises and tips like the ones provided in this thread by you.

BTW, I wish I had read this thread when I wasted off my tens of bitcoins blindly at CLDMine (which later proved to be nothing more than a ponzi) in 2015-16. Roll Eyes
