2501  Economy / Exchanges / Listing at Binance for free? Yup! on: October 12, 2018, 07:01:34 PM
Binance just got even more interesting. Yesterday, the listed RavenCoin, and guess what, they've listed it for an absolute zero fee!

From now on, as they did with Ravencoin, they're most probably going to make the listing fee public of future coin listings, to increase transparency, and each & every penny of that listing fee (if there'd be any) will be donated to charity.

A bit of clapping for Binance! Smiley

What a thrilling Test match in Dubai, however, it can say this one of the greatest knocks by Usman Khwaja. Was criticized over his batting in Asia and here's replies 141 out of 84 balls. So It's worthy says "Khawaja the heroes in Australia's great escape" - Paine!

Well played by both teams. This test match really had a good taste of "test", and I'm sure that Pakistan & Australia, both must have gained a lot of much-needed confidence after this close competition between them.

The second test will begin in 5 days, and this time it'll be Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

BTW mate, it's 141 runs out of 302 balls for Usman Khawaja, not 84 balls. Wink

Could we possibly be tied to the tech stock sector? My stocks chart and daily btc price look a bit too similar and rose at a close pattern.

Isn't it happening for the very first time? I remember when Apple and Amazon touched their ATHs in September, we were getting crushed.

EDIT: Mate, do you write for CCN? :O

Famous crypto enthusiast, Bitcoin Cash promoter and CEO of Bitcoin.com Roger Ver revealed his intentions to launch his own cryptocurrency exchange.

Bitcoin Cash ranks fourth in terms of capitalization in the CoinMarketCap rating and is traded on most popular exchanges. Nevertheless, the coin cannot boast of great popularity, and now Roger Ver plans to launch his own platform, where Bitcoin Cash will become the main currency.

Also he added that the exchange will be launched on Bitcoin.com, so that it will have tens of thousands of new users every day.

At Bitmex, you're purely gambling. No matter how much you chart or do your research, if you're margin trading a very volatile asset (bitcoin) at a scammy-looking website (BitMex), there's a huge probability that one way or another, you'll lose it all completely. At BitMex, some get rich but most get poor and lose everything, never forget that there's a giant whale (Arthur Hayes) always staring at your orders and knows where your position stands:

2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD RX 670 | RX 680 12nm Speculations on: October 10, 2018, 06:49:02 PM
So the rumours have been out for a week or so but AMD is not feeding it. I think they still have something in the tank before the 7nm next year, so a Polaris 30 wouldn’t be bad.

RX 670 out this month and RX 680 the next... Or who knows?!

Don’t expect a big performance boost, will be using the GGDR5 with some additional CUs.

On Ethash,
< 40MH/s for the RX 680
< 35MH/s for the RX 670
That too if it can be harnessed by the modders.

Again, might just be the romour mill.

Wow, it could be out this weekend! (of course, it's still a rumor though)

AMD Radeon RX 670 rumoured for launch this weekend

https://hexus.net/tech/news/graphics/122966-amd-radeon-rx-670-rumoured-launch-weekend/

I'm expecting at least 45 MH/s on Ethash with RX 680 (as I've a feeling that AMD just might have optimized these for mining).

We are excited to announce that the Liquid Network is now live. As the world’s first production Bitcoin sidechain, the Liquid Network provides fast, secure, and confidential transactions to address the needs of exchanges, brokers, market makers, and financial institutions around the world.

The Liquid blockchain went live with the first block generated on September 27, 2018 at 1:29 UTC. 23 of the cryptocurrency industry’s biggest players participated in the launch as Liquid members, including Altonomy, Atlantic Financial, Bitbank, Bitfinex, Bitmax, BitMEX, Bitso, BTCBOX, BTSE, Buull Exchange, DGroup, Coinone, Crypto Garage, GOPAX (operated by Streami), Korbit, L2B Global, OKCoin, The Rock Trading, SIX Digital Exchange, Unocoin, Xapo, XBTO, and Zaif. Together, these members comprise the Liquid Network, ensuring users’ assets are protected through a geographically diverse network with no single point of failure.

Nice, but do we really need sidechains? I don't think so.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 10, 2018, 06:32:02 PM
Pakistan are in a strong position now to win this test match and we can see that they want to win because they declared on 181 runs for a loss of 6 wickets. This was a smart move by the captain as Australia have to chase 462 runs to win which would be very tough on this pitch, even to save this test match will be tough. At the moment Australia seem to be doing well at 0/60, if they can get some good partnerships together they have a chance but it will be tough.

Australia is now 136 for 3. Tomorrow's game is going to be very interesting and deciding; I'm expecting a *close* win for Pakistan (IMO, it's not going to be easy for them).

Half century for Usman Khwaja! Let's see if he can keep up this momentum in his tomorrow's game as well.

How exactly does this work for the coins that have paid binance to be listed? Afaik Romano (VIACOIN) paid Binance to list their coin, and undoubtedly many other projects did this aswell.

Will they be held to the same standard? I presume they have signed some sort of contract which garantuees listing until X?

I mean, BCN had ~2.5 million volume daily, https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bytecoin-bcn/#markets

vs VIA ~~~300-600K. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/viacoin/

There could be a good possibility of such an agreement between Binance and those coins. Yesterday, Binance made an announcement regarding listing fee (saying that every single *satoshi* generated through listing fee will be donated 100% to charity); today, they de-listed coins. Most probably, at least from now on, they won't be making such agreements (like keeping a coin listed until X) as they're no longer concerned about the profit generated through listing fee.

Delisting? Okay, so Binance finally got more interesting (after Bittrex & Poloniex). I'm smelling trouble for other low trade-volume altcoins like Vibe, Appcoin, etc, as IMO, they're looking at the low-volume coins for de-listing, not the factors they're talking about of:

For public transparency, we would like to disclose some factors that inform our decision to delist digital assets:

Commitment of team to project
Quality and level of development activity
Network / smart contract stability
Level of public communication and activity
Responsiveness to our periodic due diligence
Evidence of unethical / fraudulent conduct
Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem

Bytecoin was listed just a few months back (back in June as far as I remember), how can they judge a coin for all those factors within this short span of time? Plus it's an active project, de-listing it doesn't make much of sense. Roll Eyes
2515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 09, 2018, 02:00:08 PM
Australia struck early on day 2 with a quick wicket but since then its been all Pakistan however they are scoring very slowly right now and if this remains this way through out the match then its highly likely that this match will end in a draw. Australia need to break this partnership or they could be chasing 450+ runs in the first innings.

Today, Haris Sohail and Asad Shafiq continued from where Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez left yesterday. Once again Pakistani cricket team's performance has taken a very sharp turn and now it'd be interesting to see if they're actually able to win this test match.

Overall, Pakistani batting scored 482 (for all out) in the first innings and now Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja are out there to target a big partnership.

This test match is looking like it could be a draw as both teams are taking their time when it comes to batting on this pitch. Unless Pakistan can get a few quick wickets on day 3 then it could turn in their favour to win the match but if Australia can bat well and get close to Pakistan's 1st innings total then I think it will end in a draw. Later today is a vital day for both teams to see which team gets the upper hand in this test match.

2 days play is over and Oz are batting at 35 runs without loss. Either OZ will reach near about score of Pakistan or if it can make more than Pakistan then some interesting things can happen. Else as far the current situation is concerned we see it to be  a tie unless some play a match winner role.

Australia after good opening patnership it was looking that they will make good score but after 1st wicket on they got all out in 60 runs cheaply. Pakistan lost 3 wickets for 45 runs looks like wicket is taking turn so i think if pakistan play  well and take lead above 400+ will make easy to defend it.

Man, what an awesome performance by debut-maker Bilal Asif. Even though Pakistani batting line-up is struggling again in this innings, but that's not much concerning as they still have a tall 300+ runs lead. IMO, this match isn't going for a draw; Pakistanis are going to win it.

I recently applied for Fiat-Crypto trading and deposits/withdrawals at Bittrex and the application got approved. It's awesome to have buy/sell option for *real* fiat (as I don't trust Tether and TrueUSD).

I'm going to request a bank-wire withdrawal soon and will let you guys know how my experience goes with that deposit/withdraw option. Wink

My couple of bank wires:

> First bank wire: Requested on Monday, received on Tuesday.
> Second bank wire: Requested on Wednesday, received within a few hours.

Bittrex is definitely doing a very good job. Smiley

I didn't try to dual mining for a while, what coins are profitable these days as secondary?
You can try some days Electroneum (ETN)
ETN is basically constructed on its own chain of blocks that comes from bitcoin. It ambitions at shooting the mobile video games and on-line gambling market. presently, it is straightforward to apply cell gadgets for immediate transactions and smooth payments.

- ETN is not dual-mineable along with Ethash.
- ETN uses Cryptonight algorithm, not Ethash.
- You're way off-topic with rest of your text (and why are you quoting a post which is so old?)
