TrueUSD, till 1 month back, wasn't even in the top hundred. On a daily basis, it's getting printed and gaining more & more marketcap: IMO, it's not very good. We're just witnessing another Tether getting into power; what we really need is a powerful Gemini Dollar (GUSD) or Paxos Standard Token (PAX), which are truly backed by a dollar. We only know about TUSD as much as we know about Tether; both of these just can't be trusted!

I am sick and tired of hearing you whining gpu miners about asics. i can tell you are not long in this industry.
where the hell were you when cpu's went to gpu's? no butt hurt talk then. this is because you got into this industry due to you sitting in your parents basement playing video games with your gpu and found out it could be used for mining and making money.
asics are actually more decentralized than gpu's. not everyone is a cryptogeek and cry baby. one can purchase a ascis and secure the blockchain at their home with very little effort compared to gpu, mining.
cry me a river you late people to the blockchain butt hurt gpu selfish miners...
Gamers-turned-miners? I don't think so. Gaming requires a maximum of two GPUs (most games require a single GPU, but a very few games work the best in dual-GPU mode), I've not seen any single person carrying one or two GPUs crying due to the decline of GPU mining industry, most who're crying actually own dozens of GPUs.

India vs WI ODI to start from today and Pant will likely make the debut today against the WI. Will the ODI series be more competitive or will India win it easily like the test matches will need to wait and see. Hope WI give a good fightback to make it more interesting.
WI started good but after the fall of Hetmyer i think the tailender are free falling, 248/6 were they and now one more wicket fall and west indies are 254/7 in 40 overs. If they play properly then 300 scores is good but i think the max score will be 280 - 290. WI are showing good batting in odi now we have to see how they are going to bowl and defend this score. WI manage to score well above 300 and finally they made 322/8 in 50 overs which is a fantastic score from them considering the past test match series they had it. India have manege to start well and are 104/1 n 17 overs. Kohli is playing on 65 . Should be interesting if WI can pick couple of quick wickets. Finally Indian team won the match with great partnership of Kohli and Rohit the both are scored 100s, and it is good to see what they are played very well keep going Kohli great show. It's simply amazing the way Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma batted today and being experienced, took all the responsibility. BTW, check out this report by Al-Jazeera: Exclusive: Top international cricketers involved in spot-fixingIt appears to involve two dozen fixes in 15 international matches. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/10/exclusive-top-international-cricketers-involved-spot-fixing-181020115410646.html

Two ODI series are beginning from today:
1. India vs. West Indies in Guwahati 2. Bangladesh vs. Zimbabwe in Mirpur (Dhaka)
IMO, both of these ODI matches are going to be one-sided; India will win in the first one and Bangladesh should be able to win against Zimbabwe easily.

"Despite Niederhoffer’s affinity for the historical property originally constructed around 1897, he is also very bullish on Bitcoin (BTC) and desires to own more of the cryptocurrency." The best part of the story is, most probably most of those bitcoin won't get converted into fiat by Roy Niederhoffer as he's looking forward to getting more bitcoin.

We are a team that are sick of all the new get-rich-quick scams that get posted on bitcointalk daily
We are currently looking for:
- blockchain dev - web developer - graphic designer
Don't get me wrong but it seems more like an individual looking for a team, not a team looking for individuals.

Byteball, Nano, iota are the 3 main DAG based coins. Except iota is very centralized and if I understood correctly, facing some fundamental issues (but haven't looked into its tech in detail yet)
Byteball and Nano = use DAG, are decentralized but not quantum secure. IOTA = uses DAG as well, is centralized, but claims to be quantum secure.

I don't think that this is a "big partnership":

Surely now Pakistan will win this test match as they currently have a 428 run lead with 5 wickets in hand so if I was them they might as well bat until they are bowled out as there is still 2 full days of play to bowl Australia out. 500+ runs looks achievable for Pakistan right now and will be very tough to chase down and even try and draw with 2 days to go.
An unexpected end to the OZ first innings as they could not even make the score of 282 runs and got all out in 145. It is no competition left in this match and now OZ require 491 runs still with 9 wickets left. Just need to wait to see with how many runs will they lose the match. Well, the match is definitely in Pakistan's favor, but still, they should not let Australia make a big partnership or something. If Australia somehow still manages to win this one, it'll be totally Sarfaraz Ahmed's, the captain's, fault. ROFLMAO... do you still think that there is a chance that Australia is going to win this match? Dude, the target is 538, and 180 overs of play is remaining. And moreover, the match is in Abu Dhabi which supports the Pak bowlers. I don't know about you but I've seen a lot of miracles happening in Cricket. It's not like double (or even triple) centuries have never been scored in the past. Partnerships of 300+ runs ARE possible in test matches. Have you already forgotten this year's partnership of 300+ runs between Mendis and de Silva? Pakistan is probably going to win this one easily; however, taking the batting middle-order of Australia easy at any time could surprise you.

Oh boy! Psychopathic Jewish faggots taking over the completely centralized shitcoin industry to turn it into a cashless society slave system. Let us all celebrate! If that pic is true it is pretty shitty, especially since Bill himself already mocked Bitcoin and was a prick about it and then he gets into bed with Ripple. Bill is against decentralization, and Ripple ain't decentralized; so it's not surprising at all.

An interesting article published at Weiss: What might happen if China declared war on Bitcoin?https://weisscryptocurrencyratings.com/news/might-happen-china-declared-war-bitcoin-1547Something you'll definitely find interesting in it if you're a supporter of Cardano! Would it give competing cryptos like EOS, NEO and Cardano more room to grow? Proof-of-Stake (PoS) coins like EOS, NEO and Cardano would be among the main beneficiaries.
Reason: They use PoS mining, which mostly addresses these issues:
First, PoS ledgers make “miners” and “token-holders” one and the same. As a result, you will never see a situation in which one side owns the currency while an opposing side secures it.
Second, transactions are final and cannot be reversed. This is achieved with what’s called “Byzantine Fault Tolerance.” Thus, even if a malicious actor could acquire the computing power to attack the network, they would still not be able to rewrite the history of the ledger. Yes, they could break in. But to no avail because they would be unable to steal a darn thing.
So Proof-of-Stake cryptos could be among the beneficiaries of any sovereign-nation threat to Bitcoin.
