US, Korea, China Stock Markets Plummet: is Crypto Correlated?

https://www.ccn.com/us-korea-china-stock-markets-plummet-is-crypto-correlated/

Correlated? The whole growth of crypto market should've been inversely proportional to the growth of stock markets. What's going on?

IMO, either the big players aren't totally aware of how crypto works, or someone is trying to make us realize that crypto is correlated to stocks and wants us to sell before the big upcoming financial crisis.

Hi, need some help. I can see my balance on gastracker, but does not show in Dex wallet?

Are you sure that you're using the same private key?

Yes, same as always. It shows the correct wallet address, but balance is zero.

Strange, something's definitely wrong with the DEX wallet you're using. If GasTracker is showing you the balance, then your address does have the balance.
2323  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone help me hiding my name behind a domain on: November 24, 2018, 12:40:32 PM
Do you want something like WHOIS privacy protection, that keeps the domain name registrant's phone/name/address hidden?

Would you mind telling us that from which registrar you've purchased the domain name?

Perfect Money is the one of the e-currency. Few days ago i received my payment and i sell PM (PerfectMoney) US dollars and  1PM= 126 PKR. I was surprised. I think this is good to invest individually but on the other side i feel very bad because our currency fell down badly. But we hope for the right time.

Perfect Money is not an e-currency, it's an online payment processor. 1 PM USD = 1 USD = 126 PKR. It's similar to PayPal, Skrill, Payza, etc.

BTW, I'd suggest you remain careful with Perfect Money. In 2013, a very similar payment processor (Liberty Reserve) was brought down by US government and I lost quite a lot that time. Sooner or later, Perfect Money might end the same way.

Another article that'll make your day:

MARKET BLOW UP ISIS war chest decimated by Bitcoin crash after terror chiefs invested millions in collapsing cryptocurrency

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7804100/isis-war-chest-bitcoin-crash-investment-millions-cryptocurrency/

All about spreading FUD.

Game over, the easy money in crypto is gone, sell before its too late.  You will be left holding worthless monopoly money that no stores accept.

Wow, the fear is real.

Yea, I typed maybe it was a typo about the date he used.  Or maybe he just made that part up to try and sound important when he's not.  Regardless, pretty obvious govt wants to use craptocurrency as an enslavement device.

Well, you edited that later in your post. Strange why your previous post isn't showing the "edited" status.

Oh well, sorry, not going to read it. Come up with a more reliable author next time.

Read the first paragraph and then stopped. Author is clearly a liar:

I have been suspicious of the cryptocurrency narrative of a “decentralized and anonymous monetary revolution” since 2009, when I was first approached by people claiming to be “representatives” of bitcoin and asked to become a promoter of the technology. After posing a few very simple questions and receiving no satisfactory answers, I declined to join the bandwagon or act as a frontman/

Not necessarily, there's this thing called "the bitcoin foundation" and other stupid organizations created during the clown car saga of bitcoin.

XNK (Ink Protocol) has been listed at Bittrex.

Hello,

I found a bug on Bittrex,
I was trying to contact with their support but after I wrote a scenario they answered completely without understanding the problem.

So let me show to all of you, the Bittrex calculator bug:

Quote from: 'Bittrex bug spotted by roslinpl'

The math formula is incorrect.
I know the correct formulas for all of the inputs (check my recent post history).

I can share the solution if someone will ask me nicely.

EDIT:
Basically,

The incorrect/bugged formula looks like this:

Code:
ASK_quantity = ( ASK_rate *  ASK_total_commission_included ) + ( ( ASK_rate * ASK_total_commission_included ) * (  Bittrex_commission / 100 ) )

Check: ( 1 * 0.9975 ) + ( ( 1 * 0.9975 ) * ( 0.25 / 100 ) ) = 0.99999375

The CORRECT (ASK orders) formula looks like this:
Code:
ASK_quantity = ( ASK_total_commission_included * ( 100 / ( 100 - Bittrex_commission ) ) ) * ASK_rate

Check: 0.9975 * ( 100 / 99.75 ) * 1 = 1.00000000

For the BID orders, the correct formula is:
Code:
BID_quantity = ( BID_total_commission_included * ( 100 / ( 100 + Bittrex_commission ) ) ) / BID_rate

Check: 0.9975 * ( 100 / 100.25 ) / 1 = 0.99501247

You're welcome. Roll Eyes
I will not disdain the reward for this find ;-)

Best wishes.

That's one bug which I've hated all my life at Bittrex (and Binance). Even the crappy exchanges like Cryptopia have the correct mathematical formula for that, but at Bittrex & Binance (when you market-buy), you don't get to have an exact number.

Bangladeshi batsmen are doing good in the first inning of the test match against West Indies. Currently, 315 runs for 8 wickets. Let's see if Naeem Hasan and Taijul Islam can further extend the current partnership.

Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi are looking quite weak this time.

Yet they have reached more finals than any other team. Tongue

PSL will actually look pretty boring (and will ultimately lead to less profit) if Islamabad United/Peshawar Zalmi manages to win again.

It may not be a bad idea to expand the competition to 8 teams. That will add a bit more color. Right now there is only one team from Punjab, where half of the population resides. Why can't they field a team from Faisalabad or Rawalpindi? or even from Multan..

I agree, at least two more teams from Punjab and one more team from Sindh should participate (Hyderabad, Faisalabad, and Multan would make a good combination of additional teams). Multan Sultan did play in the last tournament; however, due to some violation of an agreement with PCB, they might not play this one.

Who's going to be the next victim of China?

I mean China didn't force their hand to take out loans from them... It's unfair to them. Don't hate the player, hate the game Wink Also, No matter how you look at it, In the long run, these countries will benefit from the development of their ports. Especially Pakistan. Pakistan Can really bank from this collaboration if they play their hands right. They aren't in the trap yet iyam but they are hanging by a thread. If Pakistan can work on its local industry and bring it to "exportable" standards. They will see a crazy growth in their economy in no time.

I seriously doubt that. Yes, China didn't force these countries to have the loan; however, the Chinese government is playing the game very cleverly. The bad thing is, the countries with which Chinese government is dealing are not clever enough. Eventually, they'll realize that they've been left behind in dust and this includes Pakistan (of course, it's only my opinion, I hope it doesn't happen like that!)

2336  Other / Serious discussion / China *slowly* taking over the world? on: November 21, 2018, 02:31:11 PM
OVERALL, THE SITUATION LOOKS HORRIFYING!

The policy of Mr. Xi, the Chinese President, is quite interesting. Find a nation across the globe that is in dire need of money, help them with the funds, and finally, in return, ask for their "best thing possible" at an extreme discount. That "best thing possible" may be a port or a big share of oil.

Take a close look at the top 10 countries with the most GDP from 1960 to 2017:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wykaDgXoajc

Chinese growth after 2005 is awesome. According to the projection for the future, China will have the world's no. 1 economy by the year 2032, leaving the United States of America behind! IMO, it takes much more than just "good governance" to reach that level of greatness. It requires some grand strategies to pull out a growth like this. To me, it seems like China is actually influencing the world by going after the poor countries and buying off their "qualities" for "peanuts".

Check out the China-backed ports:

The ports like Hambantota Port of Sri Lanka, Djibouti port of Djibouti and Gwadar Port of Pakistan are now in complete control of China. Chinese can do whatever they want at these ports as Sri Lanka, Djibouti (and even whole African continent) and Pakistan have excessively been funded by China and now they're in Chinese "debt trap". Even Venezuela, looking at the short-term gain without having any long-term plan, is constant selling more and more oil shares to China.

What's next? Who's going to be the next victim of China?

To me, Lahore Qalandars look the favourites. I mean that batting lineup is destructive and they have got some good bowlers in there. I dunno What more do they need now. If they still can't pull it off this time the owners should really rethink their position. BTW who will captain them?

AFAIK their captain is not decided yet. It'll probably be Mohammad Hafeez or AB De Villiers.

This is a crazy year for Ethereum, Last year January Ethereum was $10 and with the look of things it seems Ethereum is heading for less than $100. I just pity this ICO projects that solely and blindly hold Ethereum in this bear market , especially those that raise fund when it was @ ATH.

Pity? Are you sure? Most of those ICOs have failed to deliver anything at all; IMO, they deserve to get their total balance slashed by a big percentage.
