321  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value on: December 17, 2020, 01:13:35 PM
I also say very effectively what some vaccines just need confidence so we can be healed of greed but the problem is how much the value of the said vaccine because its a kind of business I think it is completely not affordable for very poor people therefore if you have the money you still alive and besides there are no other choices to relieve your pain.

I think these poor people should not provide for themselves when it comes to their own vaccines. They had a hard time in these times and I think it is just rightful for the government to provide for their people. I am not saying all of them since for sure, there are those that can provide for themselves. Let those indigents have free vaccines.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 17, 2020, 12:31:37 PM
Nowadays I like to check previous results, current team form, the condition of the two teams (suspensions, injuries), and head2head results. Also how much recovery time the opponents had after the last played matches.

That can really help you to decide which team or player are going to win. Lower odds doesn't guarantee that they would win, sportsbetting is also a form of gambling after all. Analyzing those things you've mentioned could reduce alot of risk of losing then verify if the lower odds team could really win.

These odds presented by these online casinos could really help bettors. They could look at which odds are higher and use that to compare to other online casinos in which they could identify better teams or players. They could also do some researches that would also give them more information on who will put their money that even though some teams have lower odds, people still bet on them.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 17, 2020, 11:56:34 AM
If a gambler search for the casino that they want, they will not have a problem if the site doesn't have 0% house edge because as long as they can get comfortable from the site, they will stay. But they can search for a 0% house edge if they want to have another experience to play gambling on the other sites. Gamblers will search for how they can enjoy the games and some of them want to make money, so they would search a gambling site which can fit their need.

Basically, if they can see that they are winning even if they cannot really verify the outcomes of each game, they will continue to play and test their luck. It is no matter if the house edge is too much or 0%, what makes a casino stands out from its competitor is when it offers many perks such as rakebacks and it has a good visual and audio that makes the game exciting to play. Imagine, knowing that the house edge is zero but the animation from the game is nothing, I don't think it will still be considered by the players. What is better is to make it balanced, giving a real advantage from the house and still providing the best service in terms of game idea and user experience to the platform.

That is so true. I don't think it would rake gamblers in their casino site if they will only flail their 0% house edge while other online casinos, even though their gambling site have a higher house edge, have quality and really great games that is played by a lot of gamblers for a long period of time. Who would be interested in this kind of game though?
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 17, 2020, 11:07:25 AM

Mayweather vs McGregor was perhaps one of the biggest fights so far in this century. You can compare it with an exhibition match. Mayweather earned around $280 million during the fight against Mcgregor and this was perhaps the largest paycheck of all time for a single match. Ideally you should be comparing with the revenues from KSI vs. Logan Paul, which was much lower.

It was the first really big cross over between MMA and Boxing and people were really excited. In the end it was a bit boring that they didn't switch up and to the Cage in a second match. It should be more fair. Same with now Logan Paul calling out Conor McGregor to box with him. If you really have balls and want to proof something you should take him on his real profession not a boxing ring. I am afraid Mayweather is just going to crush Logan Paul.

I wouldn't use the word "crush", we should just use straight up destroy. Floyd Mayweather would destroy Logan Paul, no doubt about it. But since we are talking about an exhibition match, surely Floyd would stretch this game to maybe 2 rounds or 3 rounds but I don't think that would change the outcome of this bout. I wonder if some online casinos would include this match.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 17, 2020, 10:38:06 AM
I never thought that it would be achieved this year but we shouldn't really judge the community and bitcoin itself. This is just amazing and we've been waiting for this to happen for some years now. Right now, all we need to wait for is the adoptions that would happen next year making new heights again in terms of value and users.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Different opinions about bitcoin on: December 16, 2020, 10:04:05 PM
That sounds inspiring and too optimistic. I've got only one question: what do Bitcoin and gambling have in common?
Bitcoin isn’t necessarily the same as traditional forms of gambling, such as casino games, poker, sports betting, and lotteries. But I think they are common it terms of making profit.  You’re purchasing BTC and hoping that its value increases at some point in the future.

We call that investment and investment and gambling have a huge difference from each other. As you put your bet or wage in gambling, you will never be able to get that out again. As for investment, you could trade and sell it on the market. As bitcoin's price is so volaltile, the profit you might be getting is not certain while gambling depends on how much you bet andthe odds.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies worth less than Satoshi on: December 10, 2020, 10:45:48 PM
It's surprising and interesting to know that Satoshi has a huge edge in other currencies. I guess those countries need to adopt cryptocurrency as a currency though we all know that it's hard for crypto to replace a national currency. I hope that more people would be enlightened about the importance and value of crypto as a currency.

Even though the value of each fiats is that low, I don't think that also means that you could live there in luxury just by having some mBTCs. They just have this worst inflation rate. I am not happy about this information, I am sad and kind of disappointed to what happened with their currencies. They don't need to adopt crypto currencies, their fiat's value are low and you still want to add their problem with fees.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is why btc will die as a crypto on: December 10, 2020, 09:52:58 PM
Many people are always telling btc will die. But look btc is still standing strong. Everything has its end. But I think btc will stay in the crypto world for a long time.

For the years I am here, I am not new to reading these kinds of topics or threads. Scam or Ponzi, they can call whatever they wanted to, they didn't know they are wrong. With a strong community that would take advantage of every drop or dump that would happen, I don't think it would even die. The value might fall but it will just come right back up.

If we do try to count on the threads that been saying about bitcoin is going to die or doesnt really last then those negative thinkers had probably changed up their mind or sentiments towards bitcoin specially that it had proven out for a decade already when it comes to market recovery on a certain period of time.It might not be guaranteed to last forever but we can presume that it will surely stay.

Let those people do think and say all of the things they do want because later on they would realize that they are believing on the wrong thing.

Adoption is on the move and its hard not to believe that it would really be progressing out even more on future years to come thats why when we do talk about for it to die then its hard to believe on and let adoption grow and strong all over on upcoming years.

Hope I can upvote this. I know that it is been a long time since we are seeing this kind of price movement and the other thing is that as you've said, adoption is on the move and we will be seeing a lot of them next year, I hope so. Instead of thinking about how will it die, we people should brace ourselves to what may happen next year.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 10, 2020, 09:48:50 PM
My friends here watched the finals of PBA and they bet without any research, they support their own team and they bet on which they think is the right one. They don't base it on the odds since they never know the odds, all they know is that the team they are supporting has a great run and all they needed to know is how they play and that would just be it.
It's just if their favorite team won the game, then your friends would've taken immeasurable satisfaction because at the same time they also won the bet.

That is right. They are those kinds of bettors that drink with each other while the game is on and still bet with each other but someone needs to bet against them since they are betting for the same team. If I didn't suggest them to bet on other people they would've been betting on each other for their team to win. Congratulations Barangay Ginebra, its been so long!
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 10, 2020, 12:50:57 PM
I don't think that is it.

There are a lot of people that are betting their money in these games not just because they wanted to but because they know a team is in favor(higher odds) which also means that they have certain knowledge about the game and the teams. I think they don't just blindly guess but they predict based on what they know.

Yeah, most of those who bet on that kind of team know what they're doing and have their own research before the matches begin. Just like in our local NBA prediction in our local board the other guys who bet on the team they've chosen know what happened to the players on that team and any other updates they know that too. To assure a higher percentage of winning on their bets.

My friends here watched the finals of PBA and they bet without any research, they support their own team and they bet on which they think is the right one. They don't base it on the odds since they never know the odds, all they know is that the team they are supporting has a great run and all they needed to know is how they play and that would just be it.

We don't know what this YouTuber would show us what he got during his fight towards the legend. One wrong actions would bring him to failure, so being overconfident could possibly make us easy going and don't take precautions seriously. Hopefully they'll able to find some good match for him, or they'll sticking on this offer just for money talks and not considering their status of career experiences.

This is a huge mismatch and even though he is in a huge deficit, I don't think he will be withdrawing in this match because he's thinking that this will be a huge event for him, for his children supporters, and for his YouTube channel. Just think of the views he will be garnering in that match when he posts it on his channel. There is no way that he would win, the reason why I think it would not be something so big since we all know the result of the match.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Different opinions about bitcoin on: December 09, 2020, 09:28:57 PM
I think they came to the wrong people when they first wanted to know about bitcoin so that the initial negative explanation of bitcoin stuck to their mindset

Well, we can't actually tell if they came to the wrong people if they heard or watched the wrong news about bitcoin, or maybe they are just misunderstanding all of it. Here in our country, people heard bitcoin in the news when an investor was scammed investing in crypto currencies. One of the main popular cryptos is bitcoin and people thought it is a scam because it is what they've heard not digging more to this news or information. There, they made their own opinion which is wrong.

Actually in mainstream media the one always highlighted are the scams and other illegalities used the bitcoins name that's why I'm not surprised if there's someone tell about how bad bitcoin is and the bitcoin is scam, also those hyips,MLM and other illegal things affect the mindset of those people who doesn't know about it so maybe in due times once bitcoin became more popular they will realize that bitcoin is legitimate and they can count on it by using on their transactions as well in terms of profitability.

Thats another thing. Some were actually scammed and told bitcoin and crypto currencies as an exit. Some of these scammers use the volatility of bitcoin to fool people of saying the price of bitcoin fell the reason they lost their investment while they are not actually an investor , they are just making excuses so they will be safe. Hope they don't just see it as profitable but use because they found a reason to do so.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: December 09, 2020, 03:06:18 PM
the most likely example is the play of the whales. those who have bitcoin will sell most or maybe everything they have and automatically the price of bitcoin will drop dramatically. when the price goes down they will buy back bitcoin and make bitcoin price go up.
this will happen continuously until whenever

I don't think they will just be doing that continuously. Whales can actually be a threat to the price of bitcoin but in the past years, we never actually experience a whale selling all their holdings and affecting the market. Bitcoin was affected by scams, by scammers moving their funds, but as far as I know, there are no situations where a whale sold all of his bitcoins to buy again.

335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: December 09, 2020, 12:04:09 PM
Some says they gamble for stress reliever and they want to have some fun. And some they do gamble because they want to win big and earn money. As of me i do gamble because i want to win and i want to earn money. Gamble is the most way to get money easily if you gonna win. So game in gamble is for fun and earn money.

Hope you could control yourself in the longer run. We all know that the usual reason why most gamblers gamble is because of the money, the profit they can get but it doesn't end in that way most often. That is why they chase these losses that usually end up in more losses so I hope you could control yourself so you would not end up chasing losses and get more losses.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 09, 2020, 11:26:01 AM
So was it a exhibition match? I think we all know who the winner is and for me I didn't find this an interesting match they are just going to make some money unlike Roy Jones and Mike Tyson, both were retired legends and it's worth watching for.

Hope more boxing legends would fight another one. I am born in the year where most of these legends are retired and all I know most are Pacquaio and other Mexican and Puerto Rican boxers that take Pacquiao on to defend his title or take champions' titles. Let's think of it, just after a legendary fight of two retired legends, someone will just go back to his retirement and fight a YouTuber that has no chance of winning or even giving him sweat.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 08, 2020, 12:36:49 PM
If it does happen I hope Mayweather knocks him out in 30 seconds. Nobody wants to watch youtube idiots fight.

Since this is a super-duper exhibition match in which he will be fighting an amateur, let's say a beginner since it is his official second fight, without any wins I don't think Mayweather would be getting serious in this fight. Rounds 1  or 2 maybe so people would think it is worth to watch, but nah, I don't think this would even be a fight.

339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: December 08, 2020, 10:49:53 AM
Gold is another store of value, but not that unstable. It reached 2000$ recently and was above 1000$ for many years. Those who invested in gold back in 1900 would have made a great choice since it costed only 20$ back then if I'm not wrong. (Although dollar was way more strong than now)

Bitcoin can lose 500$ within one night. Gold can't. Why that?
If you go back 50 years gold price always stable. It price Don't changes huge. If you go back 5 years bitcoin price huge increase. Yes it price can be huge down but not it possible 500$ cause today world economy effected in bitcoin price. Today if you buy gold after years you get some profite but bitcoin can give you huge profits.

Gold is not as stable as you think. Gold is also volatile even in the past but the thing is that bitcoin is much more volatile than Gold. It will not always go up, it has its times when it is going down. It could also be affected by certain situations like what happened this year with the pandemic affecting millions and millions of people and businesses. You could lose some with Gold and you could also lose huge with bitcoin.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: December 07, 2020, 11:42:58 PM
Taxless society is just a dream. How can government run a place without tax. How can they support the people's needs and do infrastructure projects. If there is no tax no projects will run.

It is an essential need of a country, without it, it will never run and develop. It is true that we are using crypto currencies here but I don't think that also means that we don't pay taxes, I have a job and the government are getting taxes from me. I am buying goods which have VAT, all I'm saying is that it is already everywhere, the reason why it is like bitcoin and crypto currencies are the only ones where we can earn freely.
