Well guys I did the unthinkable that I told myself I would never do it. For the first time in my life I tried to get clever instead of just hodling. I just sold my bitcoin with the intention of buying back lower. Eeek. This is terrifying.
It's very terrifying. I did it back in January when it dipped to somewhat like $13000. At the end, I FOMO'ed and bought back in higher. I decided to never ever trade against Tether again after that. Only crypto to crypto trades. One should only trade against tether if there's any sort of access to fee-free trading. |

I can easily see ETC reach 200$ my Christmas. if the flippening is going to happen, higher yet.
It is cryptocurrency market, and it can be happened everything here. But I'm not sure, we will see ETC price near about 200 dol. this year. And this despite the fact that I'm holder of ETC. 200$ sounds unrealistic. My target was about 60$, but nowadays bear market said "no"  In my opinion ETC is not a favorite of the market, so, it will grow in bull phase, but not so strong as favorites. Bulls didn't like ETC much in whole December as well. Even the worst/dead altcoins were getting pumped while ETC remained quiet throughout. One of the worst coins to hold in bullish season IMO. It recently got pumped due to Callisto airdrop, now I wonder if we're going to see it going sideways once again forever.  |

My personal suggestion for anyone who can register there and actually able to deposit their BTCP: Sell before whales start selling theirs and it gets too late for you. Currently $75 which is much more than enough for BTCP. |

Let's help the new buyers choosing in what to buy. Here're mine two which are down like 900%:
1. ITC: $9.15 ATH in January and currently $0.92.
2. SelfKey: $0.08 ATH in January and currently $0.01.
That's unlucky. I have a lot like PRL, DGRN, HPB, HAT, etc... Like almost my entire portfolio, but I'm hoping for a recovering in few months. Did you meant 90% down  It's can't be > 100%. 0 value would mean 100%. Well by 900% down, I meant 100% down makes the value half, 200% makes it further half and etc. However, now I've corrected it to 90% down on ROI (return-on-investment), so that should clarify things more.  |

Wow, looking at all the replies this thread has obtained, it seems like my alts have performed the worst in all, with ROI of like -92%. I honestly don't mind the dropping of value in fiat, but I do mind if my alts lose value in satoshis. My main aim is to save satoshis and not the fiat. |

ITC needs to release their updated roadmap soon, it's definitely crashing way harder than other coins. I'm down almost 80% on this one. Red days for alts and to some extent, for bitcoin too. |

ITC is something that's gonna be very big this year. Currently just 0.00012 BTC. Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) based crypto-currencies are gonna be huge in future, when people will realize that they need quantum-proof currencies. ITC will probably one of those leading all the way.

It's funny though, back in 2016, I gave up on retrieving my balance because of wallet syncing issue. Yet today I gave up on it again due to very same issue, still the same crappy wallet which is not syncing. I do like this project but this Windows wallet seems one of the worst ones I've used. Did u install it on a new inwodws where ther was not cloak wallet ever before? there is defintitly no issue with that, you can only press OK and the most recent Blockahin files are downloading and are extracted nto the correct folder then you sync the last few blocks ... Really dunno what is difficult there Well at very first, blockchain files didn't down completely (the downloading got stuck at 50% and returned some error), then I continued but wallet didn't sync. I uninstalled and installed again, the blockchain files downloading went good this time and wallet seems to be working fine now. But still, I'd like to suggest you guys to have some sort of mobile or web wallet to make things easier. EDIT: Just saw your android app wallet, going to try it out too. |
