Hey Patrike,

Maybe this is a bug:

When i load a GPU clocking profile, make a change to the values, and then click profile > save, the values get wiped out and going to profile > load to see the list, everything is blank under the profile.

If i do profile > "save as" with the same name, it will just create a new one and i would have to go to each miner settings and switch to the new profile.

The only reliable way i've found to modify the values is direclty editing the configdata.xml
Thanks for reporting this issue, it will be corrected in the next release.

Hi, 4.09 seem to have a wrong ccminer configuration:

Engine Type: CcMiner, Auto Download: True, EnginePath: , Subtype: Disabled, CustomExecutable:
Added rule for: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\ccminer-2.2.2_1\ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9\ccminer-x64.exe
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\ccminer-2.2.2_1\ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9\ccminer-x64.exe    (WindowMode: ConsoleFormat, EngineType: CcMiner)
Configuration:

Failed to start miner process: Nom de répertoire non valide
Failed to start miner in Diagnostics mode
Diagnostics completed
Can you check so that you don't have any security software that prevents Ccminer from being downloaded and extracted correctly? If you go to:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\
Do you see this ccminer folder?

If I want to Execute Remote Command, which path is default? I tried put the file in c:\Windows\System32 and some other places, but it not work. Should I specify a full path every time or is there any default path where I can put the executable file?

_____
How can I remove the highlighting miner after the notification has triggered?  I added Highlight miner option, later trigger worked and then I marked the notification as acknowledged, but miner still glow yellow until now )))

The recommendation is to specify full path.

To manually remove highlight, go to the toolbar Appearance and select Highlight Miners. By marking a notification as acknowledged will not do anything to the highlight.

Hello Awesome Guys, I would like to share a question with you;
I Am on Awesome Miner 4.0.9 and I was testing profit mining on MiningpoolHub on two miners:

1x1060 (i'm expanding it !)
8X1070

I noticed that for most algorithms, number of captured shares, was quite the same for both rigs,  while I would like to expect at least a 10X share numbers for the 8X1070Rig.
(and the 10X factor is shown correctly when I mine with standard managed miners on flypool or ethermine)

For example right now with lyra2rev2 i got both miners mining lyra by 19 minutes up and they captured quite the same shares; 72 Vs 67:

I checked the console for both miners and yes the share numbers are correct.

Looking at Miningpool hub  he see  me with two different miners because I added in mining properties different name extension for each miner;

Anyway Balance earned in miningpoolhub looks like adeguate for a 8X1070 mining rigs so I dont understand  in what assumptions I am wrong...
It Looks like  illogic
It's  that normal or weird?

P.S. the two rigs goes on internet with the same public Ip

Best Regards
Massimiliano from IT
Thanks for the detailed description. If you look in the miner console, is for example the difficulty different? There are probably others here with more experience of MiningPoolHub, but based on hash power, your miners may end up with different difficulties which may result in similar number of accepted shares, but more profit for your more powerful rig.

patrike, please add notifications of Telegram to your awesome program?
is it possible patrike?
This is on the roadmap and will probably be added to Cloud Services later on.

I know some people managed to do webhook feature in Awesome Miner to work with Telegram, but I don't know know that configuration looks like. Maybe someone can share?

Patrike,

Can you add cpuminer-opt/3.7.0 in future updates.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.msg23143746#msg23143746

I've tested it here and it's working well.

Thanks.
Yes, I will add it to the next release.
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: November 01, 2017, 08:34:53 PM
I'm getting this error in my log from both installs of AwesomeMiner:

Code:
30-Oct-17 8:30:58 AM.061 [016] [E]Failed to download string from: https://whattomine.com/coins/114.json
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
30-Oct-17 8:30:58 AM.097 [016] [E]Failed to download string from: https://whattomine.com/coins/209.json
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

System clock is correct on both machines.. I'm not sure why this was working then suddenly stopped..
I know my reply is a little late here, but is it working now? Are the same links working via a web browser, and without certificate errors?
3488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: November 01, 2017, 08:31:54 PM
hello, when we see PHI1612 algo support ? )
There is a guide for adding algorithms. If you only want to add the algorithm itself, you only have to follow the first step. The guide is also describing how to configure mining software to use it and how to include it for profit switching.

3489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: November 01, 2017, 08:30:30 PM
So I have all of the profit switching pools setup for all my L3+'s  and I have them set to algorithm script and enable with default profit switching (not that that last part matters).

Now under Online services I clicked update and it says zpool is more profitable than NiceHash right now. Why are they not switching over to zpool?

This is on the latest version. Also thanks for adding customer worker name per device makes it far easier to manage and add pools to miners in a few clicks.

Edit: Also I think sorting pools my priority is broken if they are not originally in order as it will just revert pack.

Edit 2: profit switching with asics does work how often does it check for best pool to mine?
For External Profit Switching, Awesome Miner will not add or change any pools on the miner. The profit switcher will only look at the pools already defined on the miner and change the priority of them. See this page for details:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/profitswitching.aspx#externalprofit

About pool priorities, there are some limitations listed at the bottom of this page:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/pools.aspx#groups

You configurd profit switching interval in Options dialog, Profit swiching section. Default is 30 minutes.
3490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: October 29, 2017, 08:16:04 PM
If you experienced any problems with the profit switcher before, please give development version 4.0.9 a try as it contains a few corrections in this area. Note that Remote Agent must also be upgraded.

The new version also contains a GPU clocking feature that is configurable per algorithm for each profit profile (Options dialog, Profit profile section).

For the profit switcher, you can also try out the added support for the GranatGas and HashRefinery pools.

Hi,

Maybe you heard but windows 10 now supports 8+ same brand gpus with the fall update. But the problem is ccminer 2.2 does not support 10+ gpus, so I should had to replace ccminer with the latest version (2.2.2). The same problem is available for the ccminer-alexis and for the other ccminer forks (nanashi, sp-mod etc.). I suggest splitting the miner threads by at least two (10+3, 9+4 etc.) for 10+ users at least for now for the alexis and other forks. And you should urgently update the tpruvot version to 2.2.2 for the 10+ users. On the other hand there comes 19gpu supported version with asus b250 boards. The same problem may arise with that, too.

Thanks
CcMiner 2.2.2 is included in the latest development version I'm about to make available.

Patrice, can you add a feature to readd the profit switching pools? My miners always reboot eventually and its hard to check all of them to see if they did and if the pools stayed.
Right now the External Profit Switcher for Antminers will simply change priority of the pools already running on the miner, not add pools. Maybe this suggestion could be an improvement for future improvements.

And... No linux support on agent side?... Serious?..
It's written in C# .NET which doesn't run on Linux.. yet. .NET Core 2.0 was just released and looks extremely promising.
Got it. Thank you.

There is no sense from such program then. Many serious miners prefer Linux instead of Windows. I don't mind to have control center on Windows but all my rigs are on Linux Sad
Yeah but you can easily monitor your linux rigs through this which is what I am doing.
HOW?? I don't understand how to do it if Awesome Miner's agent doesn't support Linux...
Awesome Miner and Remote Agent is Windows only.

If you are running Claymore or other miners with an API on Linux, you can still add them as External Miners in Awesome Miner and monitor them. You will not get all features that Remote Agent provides, but you will get a similar monitoring experience.

I just had a dead board on one of my antminer D3, but it was quite hard noticing the problem at awesome miner, is it possible have it automatically marked in red when one machine is working substantial under its average hash rate?
Yes, that's possible via the rules. Use "Example: Show notification on low hashrate" as a starting point to get notifications on low hashrate. You can also add one additional action of the type "Highlight miner" if you want to change the color of the miner in the user interface as well.

Hello,
I have a quick question regarding profit and power cost. In options i set Euro as my currency. In Profile Switching menu, do i have to set power cost in Euro or in dollar ? That's quite confusing as tips indicate USD/kWh...
It's always in USD. I agree that it can be a little confusing.
3497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: October 27, 2017, 04:32:24 PM
How do I remote access using Awesome Miner remote service to view/control my machine if I'm away from my farm.
If you only need access to the monitoring information and the most common operations in Awesome Miner, you can use Cloud Services:

3498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: October 27, 2017, 04:30:12 PM
Patrike,

Is it possible to offer a Standard Plus license option that sits between the Standard and Pro versions ?

6 miners
Built-in Web
Performance history

Do away with Antminer and SSH management for this licence.

Set the price for this licence to $45.00 / $50.00

Can you offer this as an option ?
Thanks for your feedback on this, but the license structure will not be changed. The idea is to have as few options and as little complexity as possible.
3499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: October 27, 2017, 04:28:47 PM
Regarding balances.

I noticed you have built in support for chainz.cryptoID.info and it works quite well. I was wondering if you had support for others like iquidus. If so, can you give us an example of the URL I need to put in for balance to work?

Alternatively, can we have the option of pointing the program directly to the address' balance URL?

EDIT: Pools get removed from Antminer when the Antminer reboots. Is there a way to circumvent this?
Most block explorers out there have their own unique API's, making it very difficult for Awesome Miner to support more than just the most popular. Just pointing it to any block explorer will not work.

As you noticed, chainz.cryptoID.info has a long list of popular coins, but not all.

Antminers have 3 default pools defined, and the behavior of Antminers is to revert back to these pools when a hard reboot is made. When changing the current pool where the Antminer is mining, the default pools are not changed.

Awesome Miner can configure the default pools as well. Select one or many Antminers and use the toolbar Tools -> Antminer -> Default Pools, to define the 3 default pools.

I'm mining Ethash and Equihash depending on miningpoolhub profitability.

Is there a way to run some commands when the profit mining switcher switches mining engine ?

This way I could overclock/underclock the GPUs in a different manner depending on what is being mined.
This feature doesn't exist for the profit switcher today, but has high priority for future versions.
