I'm getting this error in my log from both installs of AwesomeMiner:

Code:
30-Oct-17 8:30:58 AM.061 [016] [E]Failed to download string from: https://whattomine.com/coins/114.json
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
30-Oct-17 8:30:58 AM.097 [016] [E]Failed to download string from: https://whattomine.com/coins/209.json
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

System clock is correct on both machines.. I'm not sure why this was working then suddenly stopped..

patrike,

Thanks for adding support for Hash Refinery !

I got Awesome Miner working with the custom pools for both Zpool and Hash Refinery with a 'My Profit Miner'.

The profit switcher is working as it should switching between the two, and so far no problems to report.

Hash Refinery has a lower fee @ 1% which is nice.

Again, thanks for adding that.

Hello patrike

Patrike,

Can you add cpuminer-opt/3.7.0 in future updates.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.msg23143746#msg23143746

I've tested it here and it's working well.

Thanks.

Hi patrike,
i have another question, i'm trying to run benchmark but i have some problem, i had create a new profit switch profile

but when i click the benchmark button in the tools toolbar i can see only ccminer

ty
ciao
For some mining software, Awesome Miner must have pools defined for the profit switcher in order to run benchmarks.

A few things to check in the Options dialog
1) In the Algorithm section in the Options dialog, are all these algorithms checked (enabled)
2) On the Profit switching section in the the Options dialog, which services are enabled of Nicehash, zpool and Mining Pool Hub?
3) Have you disabled any pools/algorithms from the profit switcher in Options dialog, Online Services section?
Ty Patrike, it's works! I was trying with a custom configuration, when i tried with nicehash service all was ok

I buy private Nvidia miners.  PM me.

Hello patrike,
I would have a suggestion regarding how work the benchmark tool.
Awesome miner manage softwares that can be used for same algorithms with more or less efficiency.
When benchmarking, it would be great if for each algorithm, each capable software is tested, and only the most efficient one is set as enabled for the said algorithm.
Example :
For X11 with nvidia, benchmark test ccminer, then ccminer Alexis, and set the best one as "official" software for X11.

I hope i'm clear enough...

Hello Awesome Guys, I would like to share a question with you;
I Am on Awesome Miner 4.0.9 and I was testing profit mining on MiningpoolHub on two miners:

1x1060 (i'm expanding it !)
8X1070

I noticed that for most algorithms, number of captured shares, was quite the same for both rigs,  while I would like to expect at least a 10X share numbers for the 8X1070Rig.
(and the 10X factor is shown correctly when I mine with standard managed miners on flypool or ethermine)

For example right now with lyra2rev2 i got both miners mining lyra by 19 minutes up and they captured quite the same shares; 72 Vs 67:

https://ibb.co/cZ1vaw

I checked the console for both miners and yes the share numbers are correct.

Looking at Miningpool hub  he see  me with two different miners because I added in mining properties different name extension for each miner;

Anyway Balance earned in miningpoolhub looks like adeguate for a 8X1070 mining rigs so I dont understand  in what assumptions I am wrong...
It Looks like  illogic
It's  that normal or weird?

P.S. the two rigs goes on internet with the same public Ip

Best Regards

If I want to Execute Remote Command, which path is default? I tried put the file in c:\Windows\System32 and some other places, but it not work. Should I specify a full path every time or is there any default path where I can put the executable file?

Engine Type: CcMiner, Auto Download: True, EnginePath: , Subtype: Disabled, CustomExecutable:
Added rule for: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\ccminer-2.2.2_1\ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9\ccminer-x64.exe
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\ccminer-2.2.2_1\ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9\ccminer-x64.exe    (WindowMode: ConsoleFormat, EngineType: CcMiner)
Configuration:

Hey Patrike,

Maybe this is a bug:

When i load a GPU clocking profile, make a change to the values, and then click profile > save, the values get wiped out and going to profile > load to see the list, everything is blank under the profile.

If i do profile > "save as" with the same name, it will just create a new one and i would have to go to each miner settings and switch to the new profile.

The only reliable way i've found to modify the values is direclty editing the configdata.xml

So I have all of the profit switching pools setup for all my L3+'s  and I have them set to algorithm script and enable with default profit switching (not that that last part matters).

Now under Online services I clicked update and it says zpool is more profitable than NiceHash right now. Why are they not switching over to zpool?

This is on the latest version. Also thanks for adding customer worker name per device makes it far easier to manage and add pools to miners in a few clicks.

Edit: Also I think sorting pools my priority is broken if they are not originally in order as it will just revert pack.

Edit 2: profit switching with asics does work how often does it check for best pool to mine?
For External Profit Switching, Awesome Miner will not add or change any pools on the miner. The profit switcher will only look at the pools already defined on the miner and change the priority of them. See this page for details:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/profitswitching.aspx#externalprofit

About pool priorities, there are some limitations listed at the bottom of this page:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/pools.aspx#groups

You configurd profit switching interval in Options dialog, Profit swiching section. Default is 30 minutes.

There is a guide for adding algorithms. If you only want to add the algorithm itself, you only have to follow the first step. The guide is also describing how to configure mining software to use it and how to include it for profit switching.

I know my reply is a little late here, but is it working now? Are the same links working via a web browser, and without certificate errors?

Thanks for the detailed description. If you look in the miner console, is for example the difficulty different? There are probably others here with more experience of MiningPoolHub, but based on hash power, your miners may end up with different difficulties which may result in similar number of accepted shares, but more profit for your more powerful rig.

The recommendation is to specify full path.

To manually remove highlight, go to the toolbar Appearance and select Highlight Miners. By marking a notification as acknowledged will not do anything to the highlight.

Yes it is! I checked and noticed it the share of the 8X1070 rig have average higher difficulty, but it happens only on certain protocols; for example i noticed that in ethash i see the 10X factor in the share founded.

I didnt understand that the difficult could impact the share values for certain protocols!!! Sad
Many Thanks for your reply!
