3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will YouTube launch it's own cryptocurrency. on: December 31, 2019, 06:29:04 PM
I think that such giants as Google or YouTube simply do not need their own cryptocurrency. I believe that it will be the most useless thing that they can come up with if they want to make their own cryptocurrency. nobody will need it. In such large corporations employ very smart people and they all understand this very well.
It really depends, maybe in the future the company need to implement or atleast creating their own currency for their platform sort of token using blockchain technology no one knows but one thing for sure is the fact that technology is always advancing and company like Google always invest so much into developing and adapting a new technology.
3522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You should burst this MYTH on: December 31, 2019, 04:57:23 PM
People are usually overly hyped if it's about money and some media are taking advantage of this. I do agree that people should know or be able to distinguish the differences between blockchain and bitcoin because some people everytime hearing word blockchan they'd simply think that it's just another name for bitcoin which is really wrong and could potentially lead to misinformation just like what most of the media with lack of "information" did with thes rather clickbait titles.
3523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 31, 2019, 03:49:17 PM
but I am sure BNB will continue to grow, although IEO in the market has lack of hype but the exchange function is still good.
Users can still use BNB to reduce transaction fees and also if invested I think there is still potential in it
There should be reasoning as to why BNB will grow in the future though, most of the BNB price pump driven by the IEO and now it's stuck because there's no real utility other than being as ordinary as any other token released by yet another exchange which is to get the fee discount. If that's the only utility left I think the price should just equal or a little bit more than any other token with same utility.
3524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing ROI of Bitcoin's to altcoins on: December 31, 2019, 08:03:53 AM
Kinda makes sense considering bitcoin was initially start from zero and climbing all the way up to what it is now though if there's no altcoin and ICO boom last year I must admit that the growth might not be as significant as it is today meanwhile ETH was already having the price stated in early stage of its ICO. Overall, bitcoin is like a gold of digital currency, everyone would prefer it over everything else.
3525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin save U.S. from its rising national debt? on: December 30, 2019, 10:51:50 PM
Let's be honest here, bitcoin can't even lift the economy of third world countries with debts that amounts only a dime compared to what the US has simply because using bitcoin is just like using any currency out there, I can't see how it could save a country from its national debt and considering that US is kinda "against" crypto most of the time, it's just a wishful thinking.
3526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: December 30, 2019, 01:30:08 AM
It is worth noting that funds began to flow to the above wallet. $ 400 plus 8 Ethereums. The amount is quite small, and is unlikely to cover the requests of all comers. This is pretty weird.
Maybe they took a timeout of 21 days to raise funds? On the other hand, if it were a scam, what is the point of replenishing this wallet.
No one knows for sure what will be happening but I hope they replenish the wallet and allow people to withdraw though this will surely wound their reputation in the future. Refunding people's money is one way to heal the reputation but man I'll be honest i won't deal with this kind of exchange even if my coins happen to only have listed in this specific exchange.
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto/Blockchain hype over? on: December 29, 2019, 10:47:59 PM
But the truth is that Blockchain is not needed for absolutely everything.

that why people have no interest anymore to crypto world, because it,u know,so far i just found 1 problem solved by blockchain, that money transfer, but for another problem, still unsolved.
actually, from my perpective, people just have a interest with project wich done already.
you just don't know what other problem could be resolved because maybe you rarely look up to some cases that could potentially being solved by blockchain. imagine democracy election being more transparent and not vulnerable to manipulation using the nature of blockchain which is decentralized and all votes recorded in each block and saved up forever. there are so many cases out there that can be solved although not everything can be solved using blockchain simply because it was initially not made to solve all the problem in this world but instead just for a core system of a cryptocurrency.
3528  Economy / Economics / Re: Coming Changes Bitcoin will be backing USA dollars on: December 29, 2019, 10:18:16 PM
It's the other way around and wont change anytime near yet. I can't imagine USD being backed up by bitcoin, what does that thinking and reasoning comes from anyway. if there comes the time when USD being backed up by dollar i'm sure this USD is as good as having nothing. It just doesn't make sense to be honest. it'll make more sense if USD when the value dropped so hard will be supported by being backed up by petrol or such.
3529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 29, 2019, 04:20:45 PM
The plan is all set to release the coin next year, but who knows how facebook is planning to ease out the regulatory hurdles and they have the power to influence the people at the right places and if they are able to do that is to be seen and i hope they are moving forward with the project even with this much backlash, i am hoping they will push through and open the market for the rest of the private companies and we will have a swarm of new private centralized coins Cheesy.
Well they are becoming such big company not for nothing, if they already planned to release it in 2020 big chance it will happen despite all the backlash they received from the government. Probably they are going to launch it outside US who knows, the whole world has known them and if a flicker of news regarding Libra release goes to public, peolpe will automatically know and get curious.
3530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is libra coin going to dominate the Bitcoin market? on: December 29, 2019, 03:16:13 PM
even if it does dominate the crypto market it will just add yet another flow of capital to the whole crypto market because Libra is just another stablecoin and won't affect bitcoin that much. They are just taking advantage of the blockchain technology and make it seems like a crypto. They'll just become other method for people to buy bitcoin or vice versa, it's just literally that.
3531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: December 28, 2019, 11:03:04 AM
There are many people who hate alts like anything. They have lost more than 75% of their investment in the hope of having greater profit with alts. But in reality, btc was more profitable even in dumps. A new 2020 may bring some hope into the alts and some projects may excel in what they have promised.
most of alts are created out of thin air with the premise of an "idea" to back up its value meanwhile this "idea" doesn't really mean anything at all. It's not a rocket science to understand that most of alts are prone to dumping and will hardly being pumped again meanwhile BTC with its more matured market have equal chance of increasing and decreasing its price. I do agree with your statement that BTC even in the bearish market could still drive some profit out of the circumstances.
3532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: December 28, 2019, 09:25:15 AM
As time goes by, we are witnessing that even ethereum developers attach more importance to paper money. As a matter of fact, the situation becomes so suspicious, the recent developments in ethereum have become very annoying, with the exception of the lack of innovation, news that can affect price has increased. I wonder if it is time to sell...  Undecided
Well, everyone need money but your statement isn't really wrong though. Ethereum's premine is simply too much and I'm pretty sure that the developers still got so many ethereums left in their wallet. But, that's what people have agreed since ICO back then so I guess majority of people will be fine. However, I'm not really fond of ETH that's also why everytime I got ETH i prefer to convert it to something else.
3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: December 28, 2019, 04:07:45 AM

Don't worry the Metamask wallet in the Chrome browser not a problem at all, Until now I also still use it
It is only for playstore, but still this is bad news for the crypto community
Metamask extension in chrome will be fine even if they banned it from the chrome store you could simply download it from their own official website and the chrome store for extension is bloated with garbage extensions anyway even there are some that trying to disguise as metamask wallet but different thing if it's banned from playstore which where most of the people are downloading it from. However, there are many alternatives that are safe so I guess it'll be fine.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 28, 2019, 03:09:03 AM
Something is wrong with IEOs and the Binance IEOs are no exception here. The bear market is showing its cold side and strong projects fail to deliver the real products for the mentioned reason.

Agree, even potential project is failing to deliver their products on time and it will not help them to increase their prices. Even the market situation is unpredictable and many coins are failing to secure their value in the current situation. IEO's are failing to survive their prices, this makes many people selling their coins for low prices.

It's often despite delivering product they are still failing. It's just the matter of whether a project is deemed useful in the eyes of people or not. Same situation with many startups nowadays, good idea but just solving the problems that are nonexistent to begin with. Also to note, price of alts heavily relies of Bitcoin and it seems that bitcoin dominance is still increasing therefore don't expect too much from a project that barely significant to the market.
3535  Economy / Economics / Re: ASIAN CRYPTO FRIENDLY COUNTRIES on: December 27, 2019, 03:43:57 AM
Correct, in fact it just launch in Japan wherein their shopping points can be converted to Bitcoin, imagine how many populations Japan is, they do have all the opportunity for this, Japan really aiming their country to be one of the crypto friendly, as well as here in Philippines wherein you can also buy Bitcoin in a convenient store and it is available nationwide.
they really want to get ahead and takes all the benefit of crypto implementation without even waiting other countries to make move. It's no wonder that their technologies are decades ahead of many countries in the same continent. it also seems that japan already giving influence to its neighbouring countries and with the emergence of many blockchain company it really clear what's the whole asian countries direction is going, though some of rather "strict" countries are still afraid and reluctant.
3536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: December 27, 2019, 03:08:33 AM
It turns out that the BCNEX exchange already has an indication of SCAM, which I know is that the BCNEX exchange has been a good exchange since it was launched a few months ago, and now that the exchange cannot make this withdrawal it must be properly warned so as not to use this exchange much if there is already an exchange victim. To be honest, I have never used this exchange.
If there is already a lot of evidence then do it at Scam Accusations so that many people see it.
Every exchange that turns out to be scam always perform good at its debut and then gradually decreasing their performance and as a result disabling the withdrawal function thus trapping people's funds or a more harsh way to say it is exit scam. It's the same cycle and people are still falling into it and honestly I've never heard the name BCNEX even once before but people really need to be cautious before trying a new exchange like this.
3537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 27, 2019, 02:26:51 AM
Have you seen libra 2.0 update? last week I saw them updating their 2.0 roadmap to speed up the launch process, which is a positive sign for Libra being banned by many governments around the world and investors are gradually leaving the Libra alliance. I believe that with these updates and changes, Libra could launch by the end of 2020 if possible
if that turns out to be true I wonder how they can handle the government backlash across the world and which users are they targetting. I don't think it's possible for them to run it where even the government disapprove the whole project to begin with? and if the investors are leaving Libra, their coin will supposedly smaller than what initially planned? to see they plan to speed up the launch process really outside my expectation.
3538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance not accept my citizenship, Alternative? on: December 26, 2019, 04:24:43 AM
You are right, but i think Binance not ask their users to do KYC. I am not do KYC yet, but if op mention that amount of money, maybe he will asked to do KYC. But if me have big amount of money, i will deposit and withdraw little by little or maybe on maximum that i can withdraw on my tier. If only to open the site, maybe he can use VPN, and still can trade on Binance anonymously.
The exchange will definitely put that account under suspicion if you do it that way and therefore will be forced to take the KYC and well the result is a disapproval. Exchange also have a fair reasons to not accept some customers as it's their business and they can't risk it by breaking the law and taking risks. Also, most of VPN are usually detected by the exchanges beforehand and it's a piece of cake for them to do that. As people said here, better not to force things and to consider than things have gotten tensed up regarding Iran might contribute to the reason the exchange has.
3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 26, 2019, 03:46:37 AM
The simple reason may be because the IEO tokens have been hyped up to their actual value from the moment they were listed. IEOs are still largely at the idea stage, with no actual product applied to increase token value, their price reduction is obvious.
Most of IEO are largely overvalued. Some of them also simply recycling the old idea and bringing it up for IEO in order to gather money from the masses. There's actually no distinct difference to ICO in term of result than just being seen as a more legitimate way to earn money after going under review by the respective exchanges. if people are hoping that the result by all these IEO somehow turns out different than ICO out there, they are mistaken and these things couldn't result in different outcomes.
3540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How an interviewer made Craig Wright sweat about the question if he's Satoshi! on: December 26, 2019, 03:20:44 AM
Craig is never satoshi and it's better to just ignore him. You need to think why he's just garnering all these attention to him and act like a clown for purpose. Despite how most of people who have knowledge consider him as sort of delusional person he seems targeting those who are not really well informed regarding crypto. Sort of creating fake information to misled some group of people into believing that he's satoshi nakamoto. as a result you can see how many medias out there getting trapped into believing that he's "satoshi nakamoto" atleast that's what my brain tells me.
