381  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's yours feelings about Ku-coin recent moves? on: July 02, 2023, 02:23:16 PM
I don't feel anything, as always been expected any centralized exchange will force their users to submit KYC when the time has come, it's similar like we're just waiting any centralized exchange will get hacked since there's always vulnerability for anything run in online.
Yeah, I tend to agree, and what do we expect here about those centralized exchangers regarding the KYC procedure?
All of these are just because of regulatory compliance, our government keeps combating illegal activities mentioned by the OP, and the only way to increase the KYC procedures.  Because for them, KYC procedures help exchanges adhere to these regulations and the way to become their business legal.

IMO, as long as there is a decentralized platform that can we use when buying and selling our crypto if our concern is our privacy, go to the P2P exchange which helps you to stay private.

So what next to the Ku-coin exchange?
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy bought more bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 02:02:48 PM
Based on this article on Coindesk, now they are holding over $4.6B and the last purchased was on June 27.

I don't know if Microstrategy has ever sold its holdings of Bitcoin, I may have missed this news but what is definitely news is getting more positive is big institutions like Microstrategy just keep on buying.
They did. It's all over in google news last year and it will not be the last since this is a huge business and it needs profit. Regardless of the sells they did, they still buy large sums of bitcoin, so just like I've said it still okay and it's more in bullish.
This is the most I'm afraid of that will surely have an impact on the market, what if they'll sell their Bitcoin holding, any decision to sell them could potentially impact the crypto market.  If MicroStrategy were to sell a large portion of its holdings, it might create downward pressure on the Bitcoin price, leading to a temporary decrease in its value.  However, the extent of the impact would depend on various factors, including the timing, the volume of Bitcoin sold, and market conditions at the time of the sale.

Do you think when there's an ATH they will dump all their holdings?
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming vs Staking on: July 01, 2023, 11:59:16 PM
My choice would be Staking which is a lower risk that yields farming.
As we can always see, the potential of high return would be also associated with a high risk and IMO, that's how yield farming does which is very risky not like staking the risk is how to entrust a platform to stake your coin in a long period of time.  Because the duration of the lock-up period and the potential rewards can vary depending on the specific blockchain network and its staking mechanism.

But if you're going to ask me personally, I'll not choose any of them.
384  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SCAM BITTREX Exchange Website [Don't Connect Wallet] on: July 01, 2023, 11:02:19 PM
If ain't mistaken, this exchange has already shut down its US platform, right?
I saw this thread yesterday similar to this thread that OP has been a victim of fake Bittrex staff on Twitter asking to connect his wallet to the site which is wrong Bittrex support.

From a fake Twitter account to a fake Telegram account, what else next?
We should always do verifying first before trusting anyone else impersonating legitimate accounts.

Anyway, that's a good head up, thank you for disclosing it here.
385  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics - nice feature or should it get banned? on: July 01, 2023, 02:43:39 PM
Ain't know who is this Unknown01 so I'll not argue about his troll and I don't even understand the arguments in your local sections since it wasn't my language, the most I've been concerned about is why someone is proposing to remove this wonderful feature that possibly helps to combat the spammer or just spamming for the sake of a signature campaign.  IMO, nothing special to him to be worried and listen to his troll, but instead putting him on our ignore list would be better.

I voted no, it should continue to be possible since it's very USEFUL to keep the forum clean and maintain healthy from irrelevant discussion.  When you're a topic starter and open a discussion thread, this feature helped a lot and it's better than locking your thread to avoid spam.

Though this feature is nice and the same on a merit system or even in a DT system, it could be also abused by anyone else.
But at least can be traceable through the archive tools.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: July 01, 2023, 01:57:18 PM
I think OP was trying to ask which platform you can borrow and take a loan.
Well, upon stumbling and having a quick research here is what I have found, but remember I didn't affiliate with them just hoping it will help OP but of course, it's OP's responsibility to have research first.  But if you mean you can borrow without collateral, that's unlikely will happen.

Borrow Against Ethereum With The Best ETH Loan Rates

To tell you OP, borrowing money to invest in this crypto space is a very crucial idea, seems like you're holding a double edge source that anytime could harm you.  It should be money to invest is the amount that you can afford to lose not borrowing from anyone else or anywhere else.
So good luck to you OP.
387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which one of this is important most? on: July 01, 2023, 01:47:14 PM
so it keeps me wondering about merits and reputation which one of this is more important in the forum?.
..both will come to you when you do the right thing.
Exactly and I tend to agree, this is what supposedly I'm going to say.
Remember, building a reputation takes time and consistency while waiting to rank up as well.  It's important to be patient, stay committed, and maintain a positive and helpful attitude throughout your interactions with the community.  Share your knowledge generously and participate in discussions with a positive and helpful attitude, in that way, it might forum members will appreciate your contributions and remember you for being supportive.

When you didn't do the right thing, merit is useless, and even if you've reached a high rank but your reputation was ruined, it becomes useless because you can't be trusted by anyone else like dealing with some stuff, joining the decent campaign,s and even in trading.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Considerations Before Investing in Bitcoin - For Beginner on: June 30, 2023, 01:17:24 PM
9. Find a Mentor or Consultant
    - Consider consulting a financial advisor or investment professional with expertise in cryptocurrencies. They can provide personalized guidance based on your personal circumstances and goals. Of course for this, you need to consider spending more money for consultations.
Overall, this is the most crucial part as I see and I won't even suggest to the beginner to have it.

Why?
Because this might lead to a scam if you don't know or you found a mentor over the internet, we shouldn't trust strange people offering a service like this.  Because IMO, we should trust no one ourselves in protecting our valuable asset.  So if ever you'll choose a mentor, ensure they have a reputable track record in the cryptocurrency space.  Research their background, experience, and credentials before making a decision because as I said, it's crucial to work with someone who has a strong understanding of Bitcoin and can offer reliable advice, it's prone to be a scam.
389  Other / Meta / Re: What does post quality really mean on: June 30, 2023, 12:46:43 PM
Alot of persons on this forum always advise newbies on post quality.my question is simple and on behalf of other newbies like my self is it necessary to monitor your activity and post count in comparison with your merits
To maintain post quality everyone should post less but not meaningless.
It seems I don't agree with this and that's not how quality post count.
IMO, the best advice would be this, don't interact with a topic that you don't know because if you'll insist it will become irrelevant to the discussion and surely will create spam.  As long as you've contributed to the discussion that would be a quality post for me.

However, as a newbie, I advise you to read more than more posting, always have a source and verify what you contribute, and make sure it will not mislead other forum members that will possibly create FUD.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9.5 million flagged bitcoins on: June 29, 2023, 11:53:21 PM
are this 9.5 million BTC are flagged by US government? is it safe to buy bitcoins from these 9.5million btc (maybe from 9.5million flagged btc)
I think this is old news I'm thinking now this Silkroad has already been shut down and how this case was going on which is Silk Road is no longer operational.  So to answer your question, IMO it's possible that those Bitcoins could be flagged as part of an ongoing investigation or subject to seizure by law enforcement authorities and most of all engaging in illegal activities, including purchasing or possessing assets obtained through illegal means, can have legal consequences.

Fortunately, Bitcoin can be cleaned with the use of mixer tools.
So there's no need to worry about this if you know how to clean your Bitcoin.
391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet on: June 29, 2023, 11:33:03 PM
How do you add money to your wallet to pay bitcoin to someone or a company?
Any trusted centralized exchange would be fine and quickly transfer to your wallet and make sure you have full control over your key.
That's the easiest way and very convenient way to purchase Bitcoin BUT if you care about privacy, P2P exchange, and Bitcoin ATM would be your best choice.

Quote
I hit send and it says I don't have enough funds but I don't see anywhere that it allows me to add funds.
Please be specific with this, all comments above might be right.  Because you don't have enough balance to send Bitcoin to another address.

Here's a list of you that can choose to purchase Bitcoin depending on your needs.
[BIG LIST] Buy/Sell Crypto (OTC, P2P, DEXs, CEXs, NO-KYC, ATMs, etc.)
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the steps in understanding technical analysis? on: June 26, 2023, 11:43:08 PM
Technical analysis in crypto trading is not easy to understand right away. But if you really want to learn this, you must have an account in trading view so that at least you know what basics you should know in this matter.
Before you understand this, you must know how to read a chart on a graph such as a candlestick, trendline, indicators and other tools like this so that you can have an idea of where the Bitcoin price direction is going, not accurate but at least know you somehow
Understanding technical analysis in crypto trading can indeed be challenging initially, but with the right research and resources, you can grasp its concepts effectively.  The common step is to create an account on a platform like TradingView, which offers a range of tools and features to analyze price charts, and by familiarizing yourself with the basics through such a platform, you can gain trading knowledge on this.  Because learning these candlestick patterns, trendlines, and indicators may take time and there's no shortcut to it.

Next, followed by demo account trading and also it could be a copy trading that will help you to improve your trading skills by gaining experience and knowledge.  So good luck.
393  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Generating offline seed Electrum on: June 25, 2023, 11:39:38 PM
I recommend Linux distros over windows.
I tend to agree with others' opinions about Linux OS because it provides better privacy control compared to Windows.
It's generally considered to be more stable than Windows which is less prone to crashes, freezing, or sudden system errors, and most especially, this system is less prone to malware and viruses.

IMO, for cold storage, I prefer to have a hardware wallet than an air-gapped wallet because ain't that kind of techy person and I don't want to put at risk my valuable asset having a trial and error experiment.

Any tips for generating seed offline without buying a new machine ?
A paper wallet, would like it?
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin bar (10% for you if you help me) on: June 25, 2023, 11:04:48 PM
If you have a picture on it and wanted to post it here make it blurry so that no one can decipher but reading or determining the codes won't help.
Litecoin private keys are commonly encoded in Wallet Import Format (WIF) or as hexadecimal strings, correct me if I'm wrong with this.  If the digits you mentioned follow a different format, it might require additional analysis to determine the appropriate decoding method.

IMO, you need to be careful of this showing to anyone, it should be trusted, not anyone else over the internet.
395  Other / Off-topic / Re: You most not make a mistake to know things you don't know on: June 24, 2023, 11:59:28 PM
Learning is a continuous process
You forgot, and mistake is a part of that process.

Remember this when Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, famously said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."  That statement reflects the mindset of many successful people who view mistakes as stepping stones to success, they understand that setbacks and failures are inevitable on the path to achieving their objectives the same on trading.  Because in trading isn't all about earning, sometimes mistakes make us learn to avoid them in the future.

IMO, mistakes are often considered a part of the process of achieving success and mistakes provide opportunities for learning, growth, and improvement.  They can help you identify what doesn't work in trading (technically or fundamental analysis) that needs to be adjusted in order to reach your goals, it can also provide valuable insights and new perspectives that contribute to innovation and creativity.
396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Job Lists on: June 23, 2023, 11:59:30 PM
Thanks for the list that's interesting to find a job especially if we're jobless.
Back then when the pandemic hit, a home-based job is very common to us and I don't think still people do this while there is more opportunity outside than this.

I also found this list of Crypto Job Portals And Websites which I think may also help you to find a job and add to the OP list.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking out of 2 month downtrend on: June 20, 2023, 11:59:27 PM
Yes, of course, that's possible, I think there's nothing wrong if you always have a positive perspective on the price to make you more motivated in holding your Bitcoin and I voted Yes.

The resistance I think it's pretty normal since after the correction of the price it's expected that there's a spike in the price.

Another reason could be because of BlackRock who filed for a bitcoin exchange-traded fund with the SEC, who else knows about this news recently?
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Want to Trade My House for Some Bitcoins. on: June 20, 2023, 11:27:54 PM
We may give you some suggestions but you've got the final decision to make, i can't advise someone sells a house all because he wants to invest on a volatile cryptocurrency, the option he's going for is not bad  because it's bitcoin but consider selling a house to me for bitcoin investment is like taking more risk that can landed him to shame especially when that's the only one he has and lives in, but if he has many others left, the. It's not a bad decision.

We understand your concerns regarding the risk involved when selling a home to invest in a volatile cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. Indeed, it is a decision that requires care and consideration, especially when dealing with a single, prime property.
Not only the risk that you might be dealing with in the future here, but it could be also the tax implications.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's capital gains tax which is when you sell your house, you may be subject to capital gains tax on any profit you make from the sale.  The amount of tax owed will depend on factors such as the length of time you owned the property or your tax bracket.

I think, asking for information here isn't helpful to you if you really need to sell your house because each of us here has our own decision and now we're talking about your side.  It's better if you will hire a professional in this field to get better advice.
399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How being open to ideas and comments help you learn? on: June 20, 2023, 11:08:19 PM
Constructive criticism is one way to learn few stuffs from others. Well its really hurt being corrected though you knew to yourself its correct but figuring out your wrong have a slight feeling of ache but if anyone learn to overcome that and accept it. Could help you grow as a user. We are in forum anyway a place where debate could happen whether what is the correct concept or solution to such dispute.
I remember this with the thick skin gang on this forum and that's right, I tend to agree with you at this point.
We should be always open to new ideas, perspectives, and knowledge.  Recognize that no one knows everything, and there is always room for growth and improvement, and embracing different viewpoints can lead to valuable insights and a deeper understanding.

IMO, by maintaining an open-minded and welcoming even negative feedback you'll be better equipped to expand your knowledge and thrive in your learning journey.  That's an act of arrogance when you're upset when you're corrected.
400  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are this scam sites or real? I am guessing they are scam sites on: June 19, 2023, 11:59:28 PM
Why red tag him?  Is he the owner of those sites?
It seems that's inappropriate IMO.

I used this Bitcoin transaction accelerator before the btcnitro but the first one isn't familiar to me, but if you research on Google, they will appear as a Bitcoin accelerator.  It might be the one you tagged was using the Google search and recommending to the thread that he replied to and nothing more.
