Just a day at local wedding ceremony. Sharing some traditional and continental dishes in the dinner menu. Anyone has idea about these one's?

I don't know too much about this particular cuisine but I'm pretty sure I recognize chumchum on the left (that's what I call my youngest daughter - she's a sweety), tandoori naan bread in the center and various meat and rice dishes that would probably be waaaaaay too spicy for my liking.

edit: too many a's not enough o's (fixing a spelling mistake)

23-year-old BTC miner was kidnapped and held for ransom.
The kidnappers demanded 15M rubles $166K and threatened to frame the victim as a drug smuggler if the money was not paid.
The kidnappers were arrested and are facing 12 years in prison.

Yea I just came across that. This a major reason why privacy is needed in the crypto space, especially for Bitcoiners. Imagine Satoshi was still around, I guess he would have been kidnapped so many times. For a guy of his nature, how much Bitcoins will be requested from him Huh

Privacy? One of the criminals was an acquaintance of the victim.

"One of the kidnappers knew the victim personally. Each of them already has a criminal record, including under articles of robbery and extortion."

I think Robert A. Heinlein said it best, "Destination Moon"... oops I meant, “An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.

Funny that you mentioned it..reminded me of a "sci-fi opera" called "The Hydrogen Sonata" by Iain M Banks.
It takes place many eons from now and anyone can have any body they want and you can change the body too (the explanation would take too long to post here).
Anyway...One of the characters there had either a dozen or 50 penises (it's biological engineering, of course... EDIT: he had up to 60) and, indeed, he had to have multiple hearts with most of them activating only upon a need to pump blood in those organs upon erection, of course.

Somehow, it felt/read kind of gross, but I am sure that imaginary fella had a lot of fun, probably  Grin.

...and a lot of paternity suits

Dear Lord,
This entirely redefines the concept of bullishness..

Are you bullish enough?

I guess we need a new laser-eyes color for that shit

...and possibly a third and fourth eye.

edit: just to shrink the image above

Although I am not always active like you but I am not a new, I have learned a lot for more than 1 year, I want to learn more, so I want us all to discuss together and not get into any arguments with you.
Can I know the purpose of punching me?
I'm sorry I don't understand your question.
I didn't understand either and I didn't see any punching but just to reiterate the gentleman's rules of engagement here on the WO (in universally-understandable graphic format):

I think that Roger that got you guys on this one.

If Ambatman says, "Roger that," and then a guy name Roger says "why you punching me".. then there's gotta be a reason, no?

probably batman (or perhaps batboy?) needs to slappening both ambatman and am homer... just for funzies.

Just saying...

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

poor robin.. or might I say poor roger.. taking so much punishening on this one. .    Cry Cry Cry Cry

Please, call me pm homer as I'm not much of a morning person.
I saw "Roger that" and I did compare it with the handle "Roggeredek" and since I couldn't find any other reference looking back, I assumed Roggeredek was referring to that as the punch but I've never seen the term "punching" used in that way before - "paging" maybe?  Anyway,  I was stuck in my computer room because my youngest daughter had some friends over making a video for a school presentation and I was supposed to stay out of the way and yet be available to shuttle everyone home so I made a loosely related graphic.  Sad but true.  I did manage to get a cameo in the video though - I even got to say two words and I managed to do it in one take... which sucks when you're paid hourly.

Hahahahahaha

The HODL memer turned into a bigblocker shitcoiner who thinks that you need to sell your bitcoin in order for them to have value.  Not all of the earlier adopters have brains, even if they became famous for certain strong hand expressions.

I mean... the guy inadvertently coined a meme during a drunken rant.  He might have a decent intellect yet be lacking in the area of impulse control.  Pretty sure we have (had) a few of those in here  Roll Eyes

Since we're on the topic of supplements, has anyone used NMN?

Hey, i want to share with WO this new project I have been working on with @JayJuanGee.

Probably everyone here knows about JJG Sustainable Bitcoin Withdrawal Strategy.

We have implement a website version of his Withdrawal Strategy, which serves as a guide to maintenance and liquidation of a Bitcoin portfolio, based on the 200 week moving average.

Take a look, and please give me your feedback and ideas!

That is brilliant!  Congratulations to both of you.  This will come in handy in the years to come Smiley

Confession time.  Some time ago when I was playing around with Walmart and McDonalds hat avatars because we were all poor again, somebody came up with the brilliant idea to rotate the Mcdonalds logo and make it look like a stylized bitcoin symbol.  Bitebits liked it and asked me to make him a hat with that logo on it and laser eyes.  I think I may have cheated and only altered a small hat... maybe I thought he would switch back to his original hat or maybe I was being lazy... memory fails me and I have no copy of a large version on my computer so I don't believe I started that one from scratch.  Who could have know some creative individual was going to come along and make some really cool bitcoin collectibles that would require a full-sized png version?  Anyway, I consider this redemption:

full-sized

avatar-sized

Also, I guess I'm a liar (thanks for pointing that out @JimboToronto) because I always said the first hat was free and it came with a money-back guarantee.  I will ask your forgiveness.  Second hats are free for the good guys and I'm the arbiter of good in this case  Cool
Oh, and second hats also come with a money back guarantee.

I was expecting Arriemoller to poke his head in here today - I was looking forward to some of his family Christmas photos. Hope he's doing well.

Since folks are throwing out hypothetical guesses on ATHs I guess I'll contribute.  Merry Christmas to everyone!

That does not look hypothetical.  It looks real.  Wink

For sure.  Certainly our mental constructs always match our physical reality - especially after an evening of wrapping and stuffing (stockings!) while our senses are attuned to shades of green.

How many shades of green in reality? Just one.
 I know right?!

Santa needs to get back to work.
 Merry Christmas everyone.

I don't know why but words seem to trigger my music memory quite often Smiley

Aldo Nova-Fantasy 2021 Smokin" Hot Version

I'm no producer but it feels like he added distortion to everything - including the title! (Smokin" rather than Smokin')  Still a good tune after all these years.

396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 22, 2023, 03:28:51 PM

I'm not looking for merits; I just want you guys to know there are many good posts and never enough merits to go around.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 22, 2023, 05:00:14 AM

 Haha!
I'm going to wrap Christmas gifts to that one tomorrow Smiley
