381  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What to invest BTC in? on: April 26, 2015, 07:15:42 AM
Buy some seats (shares) in NastyFans. It has been up for years (2012?) and has never been hacked or taken users' money, and is run by very trustworthy people. The price per seat is relatively stable and should go up steadily over time I'm thinking. Plus you get regular dividend-style deposits of BTC to your account with the size depending on how many seats you own. But mainly your BTC is safe to keep there, even if there's only slight increases in price that is like interest on your BTC holdings.

382  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 26, 2015, 12:06:23 AM
I thought the first version of the new design looked dope, especially with a mirrored proof finish as the background from the letters to NASTY. I like both new designs though, but honestly I don't have a stake in this game so my vote doesn't count. It's on my Want List though so I will get one eventually.  Cool
383  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB Gold Bullion on: April 25, 2015, 10:55:43 PM
If I were you I would check out trusted companies that accept Bitcoin, rather than buying from an individual. Providentmetals.com Silvergoldbull.com Amagimetals.com  < I have bought from all 3 of them and they are 100% legitimate and trusted. Also- Shinybars.com and there are a handful of others. I will maybe edit this post if I remember more and have time. Good luck, and you can never be too cautious when buying gold bullion.

385  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS][EU] Lealana 4 Coin BTC Set [Unfunded] on: April 25, 2015, 05:34:18 PM
Wow, that price seems to be a steal for all 4 coins including shipping. I'm not in the EU but I would think this should sell fast. Good luck with your sale!
386  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [355/600 LEFT] bhCoins Serie 4 DIY physical bitcoin on: April 25, 2015, 04:30:00 AM
I got my coins today, thanks and I really dig them. Bhcoins definitely has a cool & unique style of making coins. I like them all but I think my favorite style of the 4 is the antique silver. I got lucky and caught a deal, but even at full price they are def. worth it and still one of the cheapest physical Bitcoins out there. They are a great value for the price for someone to start collecting physical BTC. Looking forward to a Series 5.

Is there a site or a post that explains how the coin works after you receive it?

It is similar to a Casascius physical Bitcoin, where a tamper-evident hologram covers a small printed private key to a BTC wallet. You can store funds on it and keep it intact forever or you can peel the hologram and spend the funds. Bhcoins has already printed and placed a private key within each coin, but it is a DIY coin and comes with extra holos if you want to generate one of your own addresses or peel & spend it a few times.
387  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Vault Coin (Physical Cold Storage) Online Store Now Live on: April 25, 2015, 02:59:26 AM
Thanks for the your ideas!  I never thought anyone would pay for a paper wallet, but I never really though about printing them professional quality style.  I bet we could pull that off, and those could have a design on the back, to easily differentiate from home printed ones.  Probably do a limited run of 50 or 100 or so and individually number then (on back).

You sign up for the indy bitcoin meetup group?  I forgot to contact you but they had a meeting last month.  I think they are going to start doing 2 meetings per month.

I think for sure people would buy them if they were professionally made and on a bank note quality paper, especially if they were affordable. If you could somehow do some in quantity and sell them for less than 10 bucks including profit I think many people would buy at least 1. But you're on the right track with a limited and numbered run like that, and there are many collectors here. A company named Bitcoin Suisse AG did some sweet BTC certificate type pieces, and it was before my time but I know BitBills did notes before there were many different physical coin makers.
Also I thought the uncut sheets of your wallet designs was a cool idea, a lot of people love sheets of USD freshly printed. Maybe auction off like 5 uncut sheets separately here when they're released or after sold out would be sweet.

Haven't looked at the group yet but I will for sure check it out, I wouldn't mind going to a few events and checking out new products and tech and talking about BTC.
388  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Vault Coin (Physical Cold Storage) Online Store Now Live on: April 25, 2015, 02:18:03 AM
Wow, those are all really nice, great job with the designs guys! My favorites are B and C, but honestly I like them all and I think it would be sweet if people could choose between all 4 when printing paper wallets from your site. The more options the better, in my opinion. I think lightening up the backgrounds on the last 2 would be a good idea, but I don't think you should reduce the boldness of your logos; they're your work- take credit for them! Having nice paper wallets available for free printing from your site is a great idea to increase traffic as well, good thinking.

And I'm with bithalo- if you could have some printed on some thick, high quality paper (or cloth-paper, USD?) I would be interested in buying some and I think that would be pretty cool. By the way- I still need to holler at you guys when I'm up in Nap town next! It sucks, I've never met a Bitcoiner IRL yet (that I haven't turned into a Bitcoiner myself). I'm thinking about checking out one of the coin shows up there sometime, I don't have a good LCS so I'm itching to check out some nice gold & silver coins in person. I might bring some physical crypto coins to sell if I do, maybe you/we could bring some Crypto Vault coins?
389  Economy / Goods / Re: What do you think buying Rolex by Bitcoin on: April 24, 2015, 04:12:07 PM
@OP- If you are legit, which I'm not really doubting you (but go ahead and take another picture with date & username), then look up user "Bobsurplus" on here. He is always looking to buy Rolexes & such and has a luxury watch collection. He would probably be interested.

Don't take users' skepticism and doubt personally- you must understand that Bitcoin is an irreversible payment method, and there have been dozens and dozens of people pop up on here claiming to have high-value items for sale trying to run off with a quick buck or thousand. It would be highly recommended for you to use a trusted escrow (such as user "OgNasty") for your first few sales. Good Luck with business and welcome to the forum!
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ► ► ► Cryptonic PHYSICAL MONEROj for SALE on: April 22, 2015, 10:14:31 PM
I had to Google "Esperanto," I had honestly never heard of it. I would suggest Latin as a universal foreign language, although it's certainly not an original idea. Esperanto would be an original idea for a physical crypto coin, so I think if that's what you're trying to do- go for it. I also think you should definitely have "1 Troy Oz .999 Fine Silver" stamped on the pure silver coins as suggested above. Pure silver coins, rounds, bars, etc. should always have their assay information stamped on it somewhere. This way, if Monero ever crashed and became totally worthless (I'm not saying this will or won't happen), the owners of these coins would still be able to sell them for their Silver content, and it would be slightly easier for them to do so if it were stamped. However, whoever buys it from them will still probably want to test it first anyways, because these aren't universally known Silver rounds like American Silver Eagles. I think stamping that info. on the rim of the coin would be cool as OP suggested.
391  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [OPEN] bhCoins Serie 4 DIY physical bitcoin on: April 22, 2015, 04:54:50 PM
...s and the private keys.

Public keys I hope?
The QR codes and the private keys are covered by the coins Wink
If that's true, then the resell value = 0. Great. =(

Not necessarily, they're DIY coins and come with extra holograms, correct? So you could generate and place new addresses, or just sell them with the extra holos for the buyer to do that.
392  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 1oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 21, 2015, 07:40:50 PM
No worries about thread jacking. I like folks that are willing to barter.  Maybe if you listed what you had available for trade it would help.  Good luck!

Right on, thanks for the cool response man! Alright I'll dive into it here. I have many more valuable/rare physical cryptos, but I'll list what I'm willing to trade for a 1 oz. NastyFans coin. Willing to trade multiple lower-value coins to equal the amounts. Ideally this would be good for a physical crypto collector who has an extra NastyFans round and is missing some of these in their collection:

-multiple Lealana 0.1 BTC Brass
-Crypto Imperator 10,000 DOGE, Funded
-couple Cryptolator Unchained Copper, COA, leatherette
-bhcoins Series 3, COA
-MS-67 bhcoins Series 3, COA
-multiple bhcoins Series 4, COA
-MicroSoul 0.01 BTC 2013, Funded
-multiple Serpcoin DIY2
-Antana Statistics "Thank You Casascius" round
-Bitcoin Suisse AG "Demo" Certificate

Also have a few non-BTC Silver rounds and NastyFans seats that we could possibly work with. If anybody's interested in a possible trade just let me know and we'll go from there!
393  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 1oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 21, 2015, 05:25:06 PM
Only one 0.5, and would not want to come off of that one at this time.

Thanks for throwing an idea out there though. I just figured if somebody had multiples of the 1oz NastyFans rounds, then they could possibly get some new coins they don't have and I could get another coin for my collection off of my 'Want List'. I would try to think of a trade beneficial to both parties. Not trying to thread jack though, so shoot me a PM maybe if anybody is interested.
394  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 1oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 21, 2015, 05:02:38 PM
Yeah, I just don't have the extra funds to spend at the moment. Plus I just enjoy trading coins and making deals.
395  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 1oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 21, 2015, 05:49:59 AM
I've wanted this coin for a while now but haven't been able to get one so far. Would anybody that owns one be interested in trading your coin for a couple different physical cryptos? Shoot me a PM if interested we can discuss ideas.

P.S. That banner is badass, really nice & smooth animation with it.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New report on Mt Gox’s missing bitcoins on: April 20, 2015, 11:58:25 PM
If this is true and most funds had been stolen/missing since 2011, there is no doubt in my mind that Karpeles knew he was running an exchange on fractional reserve banking. I mean how would you just not know that most of your funds weren't there? When doing accounting and routine cold wallet deposits, if such a large chunk is missing you're either going to know that You or Your People have safely stored that money away or you're going to know that it's gone.

I also give props to WizSec for all of the time and energy they've put into working the Mt. Gox incident. 2 million addresses accounted for that is quite a bit!
397  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 15.000 TOR/ONION WEBSITE LIST on: April 20, 2015, 06:10:47 PM
There are Onion site directories that search every possible TOR website and crawl them everyday or so to check to see if they are still up...   Just saying.
398  Economy / Digital goods / Re: FREE - WHMCS Licenses Lifetime!!! Instead of 260 bucks! on: April 19, 2015, 10:26:07 PM
Doesn't any trusted member want a free Licence? Smiley
Still available guys!!

I'll take this if you would still do it. I did go to the site earlier when I asked about it, but I still wasn't sure what exactly the service was.
399  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2 Physical BTC on: April 19, 2015, 07:07:22 PM
I could do half of your 0.75 asking price, so 0.375 BTC shipped?
400  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2 Physical BTC on: April 19, 2015, 06:48:31 PM
I might want just the 0.05 MicroSoul, would you consider splitting them?
