401  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Peter helping bitcoin pump? on: December 02, 2020, 01:25:02 PM
"Sets a new low in financial journalism ethics", says who anyway? his words are insignificant towards Bitcoin at this point. It's at least making a publicity for Bitcoin to be known and much less on gold as a lot of his tweets mention "Bitcoin" in it. Nonetheless, I love how people in the comments is saying how salty he is now that Bitcoin is getting a positive feedbacks contrary to what he expects.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: December 01, 2020, 04:30:55 AM
I don't know about mass adoption but the only thing I can see Paypal did is an advertising for Bitcoin, because of that they got some pretty decent profit out of it. I think Visa and mastercard has seen what Paypal did and is planning to recreate what Paypal did. I think they are just in to the money but not in adoption. Look at Paypal, they didn't really help with adoption because as you can see, you can't withdraw or deposit Bitcoin there, you can only buy from Paypal itself. You can't even properly trade there or you'll face suspension.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I regret to scrutinize bitcoin! on: December 01, 2020, 02:57:57 AM
4. Which is more important bitcoin or fiat?
Realization: In this trying times we need a currency that could help us to get our needs and get away from getting the transmission of the covid19. Hence using bitcoin for online transactions is ideal compared to using physical money to where virus can be acquired especially if minimum health protocol like washing hands and wearing of mask is not observed. For me bitcoin is important, aside from what I mention above that bitcoin is dependent and that could not be affected by inflation rate like fiat currency.

What? I thought it was debunk that money wouldn't help in transmitting covid19 virus? And you probably forgot that there's online wallets now that holds fiats so that you can use fiats to buy online. Also, there's Paypal and Central Bank Digital Currency. Overall, you have a good realization on most of the part which is why Bitcoin is having a blast right now.
404  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: asu's loan default on: November 30, 2020, 04:54:23 AM

Kaso bigla nalang siyang nag laho.
405  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: asu's loan default on: November 30, 2020, 04:00:21 AM
Just another reminder na you shouldn't trust anyone here regardless of rank.

406  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: November 30, 2020, 03:20:57 AM
I'm sorry for your loss man. I'm sure someone will get this guys since his wallet is exposed and I'm sure someone had at least some transactions with him. I just don't get why would he do this. He could have made more doing signature or bounty campaigns rather than compromising his account for this loan.

Anyways, try going here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5142115.msg51747333;topicseen#msg51747333

3ByTmVLLd6hrjtT6trwG9C1aziEmbTkZAH (coins.ph) is his wallet. Coins.ph is a custodial wallet so you have a good chance to know his identity. it seems that finaleshot2016 had a transaction with him.

I'm supporting the flag.
It's just sad to see reputable forum members go down like this. I'm sorry for your loss, DireWolfM14. I hope he comes back again and fixes this.

I doubt that he will return now though since his reputation is basically ruined.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: November 29, 2020, 12:28:34 PM
In my country which is the Philippines is still not teaching bitcoin in the University but it is good for me if someday they teach it because Im college student and if my University will teach bitcoin my knowledge will grow and I can share my experienced to them of being here in the cryptocurrency.

Many country I hope in the future will teach bitcoin for every students because honestly in the school they are not teach about investing they teach only about a job or having on that.

Yeah, I hope they taught Bitcoin, Blockchain, or Cryptocurrency in my school days.

Philippines isn't that most advanced when it comes to technology but at least people here are supporting to new innovation so Bitcoin is getting a lot of traction. There's already seminars and some gatherings that tech about Blockchain and cryptocurrency. I hope that this continues till it reaches college.
408  Local / Pilipinas / Re: MAY KINALAMAN BA ANG CHINA SA PAGBAGSAK NG DAPAT SANA AY BULLRUN TREND? on: November 29, 2020, 09:37:20 AM
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Police Seize 1% of Bitcoin’s Total Supply on: November 28, 2020, 06:10:45 AM
And another thing is if Chinese government release those funds on exchangers it will be a huge dump on the market. Because the amount is huge and it can be happen anytime.

It's not like it's a super bad thing that would do a permanently damage to Bitcoin though. Yes there's going to be a huge dump but it's not like Bitcoin won't recover from that. Bitcoin has been tested many times and it won't go down easily just from that. Anyway, I doubt there's going to be dumping anytime soon. It's probably going to get hold for a very long time.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: November 28, 2020, 04:15:12 AM
The interesting part is

Quote
No appeals. No explanation. No consideration that their reviewer may be an ignorant 60 year old with no knowledge of PayPal's own crypto service. Whenever I've called their support about PayPal Crypto in the past they had no idea what I was talking about (even after weeks after release).

This kind of shows that Paypal really isn't much interested in Bitcoin at all and just integrated fake Bitcoin just for show. I don't know why they did this but at least the user got his account back. But still, it just suck that Paypal doesn't want to do anything unless they were being exposed.

PayPal is not a trading platform for Bitcoin. He only facilitates us to make it easier to buy Bitcoin using a PayPal balance or credit card.
If we have already bought it we are not advised to hold it there, better withdraw it directly to a personal wallet.

But the thing here is that, they don't want to let people withdraw their crypto from paypal so all you can do is either hold Bitcoin in paypal wallet or trade there which this user did and turned out to be a really bad situation.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to buy Altcoin ? on: November 27, 2020, 09:06:21 AM
We are at a critical moment right now because Bitcoins movement is somewhat unstable where you can noticed that yesterdays price was around $18,600. There's a possibility that Bitcoin would dump to $15,000 and it will hugely affect the price of altcoins. I'd say just test the waters for now and don't invest in an altcoin that is pretty new or doesn't have much reputation.

But if we maintain above $17,000+, then there's a big chance that Bitcoin would beat ATH this December.
Katulad ngayon, bitcoin dropped down 3k agad agad at nag $16,500 na ito as of the moment. 12% agad ang ibinaba for the last 24 hrs.

413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins are complete shitcoins this time around on: November 26, 2020, 04:11:09 AM
You can't deny that some shitcoins right now are doing some pump and dump action because of the currenct market movement. That's probably the reason why your friend is investing in those shitcoins right now, hoping for a jackpot which is basically trying to win a lottery.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will social mining replace bounties? on: November 26, 2020, 03:14:55 AM
It's hard to say. Social Mining only pertains to platforms outside Bitcointalk I think and according to this

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1If09qzgjCv6Qd0epymh8nnZDJD1QUpSO/view

They will ask for KYC. I can say that bounty campaigns strategy is very different from DaoMaker and will most likely not replace Bounty Campaign anytime soon (or never will unless they do something that is very similar to bounty campaign but is more convenient). Nevertheless, you can work on both and benefit from both of them at the same time.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wondering WHAT must have AWAKEN the SLEEPING GIANT - XRP ? on: November 25, 2020, 03:08:51 AM
Bitcoins bullrun followed by the incoming airdrop of this new fork is surely the catalyst of this event. I don't really know if this will retain this place though because the hype was being built by this 2 events. Imagine what would happen if the airdrop is finish and Bitcoin starts stabilizing.
416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin shoots past $19,000 as new ATH awaits on: November 25, 2020, 03:01:05 AM
It would reach up to $20,000 by the end of this year. however, if something goes wrong the price would dramatically subside like what we have seen last December 2017. you should not jump off and sell your house to invest in this green market because the price is still volatile and no one really knows when the price will fall again like last time.

It depends. There's just so much difference in 2017 and 2020 since 2020 was the year where businesses are starting to recognize and implementing Bitcoin. 2017 was the year of the hype (remember ICO and Bitconnect?) and doesn't really have that strong support which is why Bitcoin dump so hard. 2020 is the year where people see the value of cryptocurrency. Paypal and other many institution is starting to make a move.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP miracle on: November 24, 2020, 07:49:04 AM
I don't think that's going to continue though. I think this only happened because people are expecting an airdrop to really pump xrp which came true because people are buying, expecting it to pump further. Never forget that xrp themselves dump coins to their community so I'm not going to be surprised once the hype died down, there's going to be a massive dump.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is in cahoots with the government to seize your bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 07:33:46 AM
It does make sense that they are processing Bitcoin to fiat because most merchants aren't really accepting Bitcoin and mostly just fiats. But not being able to deposit or withdraw Bitcoin in Paypal is just stupid. But let's consider this, maybe this is just the start and they are testing the waters. Maybe they will allow deposit/withdraw in the future ONCE they actually have real Bitcoin deposited to their system lol (because I also have a suspicion that this "Bitcoins" in paypal are fake).

Anyway, I love his take on Bitcoin, he's neutral yet he is utilizing the utilities of it for profit.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying Ripple for the XRP Spark token drop? on: November 23, 2020, 03:13:54 AM
It is necessary to remember that airdrops like this have a high risk of loss because they are full of drama coins will suddenly rise so high after the airdrop ends the price will fall and make losses for everyone who has bought this XRP have made announcements about hard forks and airdrops will occur of course this will make prices soar more and more.
You are right, there are always people playing big bucks for such airdrops. we have seen it happen several times in the crypto market with different assets. I wouldn't say that the XRP plan is a bad thing. but a plan like that has the worst that can happen even you experience.

That's why you should always be ahead of the competition. Even if it's risky, millionaires are willing to spend in XRP because they know that people are naive. They'll probably dump as soon as the hype died down or as soon as the airdrop is released then profit from holders.
420  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: November 23, 2020, 02:51:55 AM
Hehe!

Di pa tayo handa.

ANG MAIPAPAYO KO LANG!

PAGHANDAAN NA NATIN ITO.

EARN MORE BITCOINS AND ALTCOINS.
