Normally with conventional contracts one would hire a lawyer to go over it, then if anything goes bad you sue your lawyer for giving bad advice. I wonder if we who lost money in this venture can sue the company that vetted the code?
Even IRL it would probably depend on what your actual contract with the lawyer was and I bet they would cover their ass in every way possible. The lesson learned from the DAO should be this: don't enter into a contract that you can't vet yourself. Otherwise what's the point of "smart contracts" if you still need to hire a lawyer AND a programmer to sort it out for you. This wasn't like buying a house or something that you could call a "necessity". Just the typical greed+stupidity that accompanies most crypto "investments", plus a good dose of exuberance. Deadly combination. You're missing the point. Why would anyone use a smart contract if there was no guarantee that their money is safe? People will continue to just use banks and lawyers. You're right, why enter a smart contract you cannot vet for yourself. So with the current situation Eth/Etc is stuck and likely will go down, nobody will be using smart contracts unless they are insured.. This needs to be solved if we really want to attract the masses. |

We all seen building 7 get demoed. The owner was on TV after and said that they got everyone out and pulled it.
BBC reported that building 7 had collapsed 34 minutes before it happened. I dont know if global warming is just to wash our heads to decrease human population which America wants to control the world.In whole Europe America was built HAARP system and now they are building in Norway biggest very big HAARP system to make earthquakes and other crazy bad wheathers.In my country every year plants grow more slowly I think that isnt because of global warming it is 100% because of American HAARP system.
Plants are growing slower here too. I attribute that to the spraying program that's in place to stave off global warming. It's changing our soil and making it harder for plants to uptake nutrients. |

The so called war on drugs has been waging now since 1971 when Nixon declared the 'war'. The war still goes on.. and on.... and on...... guess what, you lost and can't come to terms with the truth. The problem with the war on drugs is the pushers in the governments that keep pushing this war agenda. The solution is clear. Decriminalize/Legalize and regulate. Alternatively, kill 100,000 and keep killing for the years to come.

So we should kill poor people? The only reason they take drugs is because they have nothing else. I have never been poor to the point where I can't buy food to feed myself or my family. I couldn't imagine the amount of stress that could cause someone. Most of them are likely very depressed and have other mental issues because of the failure of their corrupt government. The Philippine government needs to fix itself from the inside first. I just don't think its possible for them to do so since everyone within that government is corrupt. |

I'm from Canada and think that bringing in refugees is the humanitarian thing to do. We took a bunch of em, I think 30,000 or so is what our PM brought in.
