Anyone manage to mine with multi-amd-gpu rigs?Too high cpu usage in my case.

I had the same problems as you. CPU usage pinned at 100% for my 6 GPU rigs. They are 280x and 290 cards that I am using in them with Core i3 CPUs. I didn't bother disconnecting some GPUs to see if this was actually what was going on.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RPCD] Rand Paul Coin (Deflationary) on: November 07, 2014, 02:26:18 AM
You're  going to share drop 80% on a $10 000 coin?

If I've got that wrong please ignore the following rant...

How gullible do you think people are?
You could have slowly bought up most of that coin for a few thousand dollars.
It's like an 80% sharedrop mostly to yourself.
Ron Paul is a good man, shame on you trying to use his good name for a scam.

Ya know, you could give more to PTS/AGS holders. That would dilute that 80% RPC stigma.  Grin

1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predict when Dogecoin and Litecoin die on: November 05, 2014, 02:07:40 PM
When Doge and LTC are dead its because BTC is also dead as is the entire crypto scene. I doubt that this will ever happen.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE CASE OF PINK COIN on: November 05, 2014, 01:53:24 PM
Here's an intelligent response ... can't pass on  cool information around here without being called a pumper.  DYOR.  Original thread is just posters exchanging info, not a "Moon!" or "Buy now!" to be seen and Dogecoin is mentioned as well even Pink which was used to buy beef jerky.  Be nice to get a response along the lines of "Wow, that's kind of cool. Crypto has more use than something to post back-and-forth about on Bitcointalk."

Look at this:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=846866.0

While you all are fighting to see who scammed who and who has the biggest prick on the internet little Pandacoin looks like it has become the first crypto with real world use.  Who would have guessed? LOL

Turns out its just a bullshit attempt at pumping an already dead coin. I think we'll see Bitcoin and LTC accepted in bars long before any other cryptos, let alone an old pump and dump.

I don't think we will be able to say "Wow, that's kinda of cool" for a while. Maybe never, with the way things are going in the crypto scene now. With all the ICO scams, yes they are scams. The infighting, trolling and outright lies posted by people on this forum. I doubt any serious investors will bother. Maybe with the Bitcoin ETF that may open up the doors to LTC and maybe a few others. But I doubt it. Without regulation and with all the criminal activity on this forum alts are going no where but down. This place is like Gotham. Everyone is in on the scams and just turns a blind eye.

1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy ico: ByteCent, EQX, Sys, Craig, Vior... on: November 05, 2014, 01:25:15 PM
The only ICO's I trust are from the Bitshares boys. These new coins that keep popping up with features that we already have are pointless and most eventually die off. There will always be bag holders and I don't want any part of that.

Now for the real reason I bothered scrolling through this thread.

1248  Other / Archival / Re: ZeroVert - First Zerocoin Implementation | New gold standard for privacy on: November 04, 2014, 09:16:36 PM
I thought that Zerocoin protocol was incomplete. So you guys finished it? Do you plan to launch with Zerocoin implemented in this coin or is it something that is being "developed"?   Roll Eyes

1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KNC Miner - Titan Scam. on: November 03, 2014, 03:22:21 PM
Yeah, I'm still waiting on my 6 to arrive. Sure was a stupid purchase, but hindsight is always 20/20. I think that promise of a Q2/Q3 shipping is what got me. If they really had started shipping in Q2 then there would have been some chance at ROI. That was very misleading of them to state that. Never again.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Slander online, get sued on: November 01, 2014, 02:02:12 PM
OP is correct, it is slander. However, Dan would have to first serve you with the lawsuit itself. That is going to be kind of hard when everyone here is just a nickname. Secondly, Dan will have to prove financial loss to a judge or jury in order to sue you for that amount. Its going to be interesting trying to explain his actions of pumping and dumping coins to a judge/jury. Then convincing them that its all on the up and up and that you evil slanderers cost him x amount of money.

Think about this for a second. What are the chances of this being successful? ZERO.

As for him getting butt raped here on the forums, well thats they way crypto is, has been and will continue to be. What I suggest is you Blockhead guys come out with  good working software and make the naysayers eat their words. Otherwise its just a scam like they claim.

Hopefully someone will take the time and get CockCoin tested, wouldn't want to get an infection from contact....

Where is the POD!?!?! (Proof of Dick)

Is there anything unique to help layers of protection?

Cryptoasian is taking it right now from one of the priests at his church.

Can't get miner to work no matter how low I go on the settings. It does identify the cards when the miner starts up but no usage on the actual GPUs. Also the CPU is still pinned at 99% usage. I am using the 13.1 drivers so maybe that is the problem?

280x 6 GPUs on windows 8.1 using the microsoft drivers for the GPUs.

Tested on one of my 280x rigs 6 GPU, Windows 8.1, Celeron processor.

Installed the vcredis_x86 2013.

CPU pinned at 100%. With 1 thread or two, same results. I'ma try tweaking some of the other parameters such as intensity.

which config file are you tweaking the one in the same directory as the exe or the one in Release/Ressource/Config (because it is the second one you need to tweak. the first one is a something I forgot to clean...)
May-be I should release a new version without that one for those who really don't want to read what I wrote.  Grin

Damn, thats what I get for being lazy. I'll try again. Just assumed it was the one in the same folder as the miner.exe

On Oct 30th will be another 5 day absence, which is tomorrow.

Barwizi: please tell us what's up.

Probably this...

RL is complicated right now as I am part of the team assisting with the current Ebola crisis, this limits my online presence as well as coding.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] The UCoin Project. Starts in a day. Or two. on: October 29, 2014, 08:05:56 PM
What ever happened to coins that launch with 0 premine and IPO/ICO/ITO or whatever the fuck you call it didn't even exist? Fuck this shit. I will only invest in coins with real people behind them not empty promises from a 1 post newb account. Fuck, I can make 10 of these a day with photoshop. Maybe I'm going about this all wrong. Goddamn conscience, why cant you just stop bothering me?! Can't you see that I'm in a den of thieves and need you to leave me alone!!  Angry

1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New PinkCoin (PINK) Moderated Thread | PoS | Fundraiser | Anonymous on: October 27, 2014, 06:21:27 PM
Such a great coin with so many features. I just don't understand why most people go for the pump and dump scams out there when we have something like PINK. Its cheap right now at 60 sats. People should be putting some BTC into this one. I believe that it can only go up from here. The people behind the coin are cool, honest and dependable developers. Its nice to see an actual alt coin with soul and not the same old PnD crap that has been plaguing these forums for months.

I noticed from your crowd funding campaign that you plan on charging $25.00 for the market place software. You need to rethink that. Who would bother with that when kijiji, ebay and others are free to browse?

Also, when do you plan on giving us a working alpha/beta marketplace software for testing? With scams abound you will have to give us proof before you'll get any trust.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In your opinion what are the most fair coins. on: October 27, 2014, 12:07:41 AM
what is a 'fair' coin?

That is why im asking everyone what they figure are fair qualities. Because as you noticed in the OP I clearly stated that "fairness" is completely subjective to the individual.

My definition is zero premine, zero insiders, dynamicly targeting difficulty, incredibly lengthy distribution model. Which is why I made FRK to fit that definition of fairness.

Others however have defined their definition of fairness differently. Smiley

I think every coin ever made fits the creators definition of fairness as well as others who decide to support.

Cryptonite (XCN) fits that description dead on. It also has some cool features that no other coin has such as mini blockchain, withdrawal limits and unmalleable transactions.

Here is the main thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=713538.00 in case you haven't noticed this one.
