1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] StakeCoin on: January 15, 2015, 07:15:49 PM
My cinni wallet keeps crashing when I try to send to the burn address. Any ideas??

You mean not responding or just closes and crashes? The not responding thing has to do with old coins staking as you unlock your wallet to send coins. What you can do is unlock it, allow it to stake the old coins, lock it when its done. Once you have no more staking coins they can be sent (this part takes time). Otherwise you can try waiting it out. I staked mine first so that the not responding thing didn't happen. PoS... whatchyagonnado..

How do I know if all my cinni are in one address??

In the Cinni Wallet click receive coins, if there is more than one address chances are you sent from different sources to different receive addresses.

Let us know if you need help correcting this.

Downloading the Cinni bootstrap file now. I'll be burning my 80k ish cinni for some stakecoin. Fingers crossed hoping that this coin takes off.

-Edit

Alright, everything worked out fine. Burned 85K cinni and imported private key of burn wallet as per instructions.

1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is my crypto decentralized? on: January 12, 2015, 07:18:08 PM
this OP is so low!

let assume i start a new coin, and only 50 people are the first shareholders. Do you call me fair distributed?

But i would never ask this in this way.

Of those 50, 45 are sock puppets of the dev. Proven by dev creating a secondary fork and trying the same shit, this time being caught red handed.

1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leocoin ? on: January 09, 2015, 02:57:57 PM
Launched 6 months ago but not on this site or cryptocointalk.org either. According to the leomine pool current block is 297,974. So mined by friends and dev. Oh yeah, this one is definitely the next bitcoin.  Roll Eyes
Everyone have right on his own opinion.
Developer of coin did something different as all other do. Put coin on bitcoin talk and get mined from 10000`s people, who dump coin an destory his value. A lot of coins could be more successful if Devs will be more smart and will not get dumped from people on bitcoin talk. This forum is perfect for coins who want to get couple BTC profit for Devs and those people who have a lot of asic, so they get a lot of coins in start, after that dev is gone with premine and coin is gone.
So before you spread lies here, get true info about developer, about coin about plan for coin.....
About that LEOcoin is next Bitcoin...... hm didint i hear that from all coins who are promoted here on Bitcointalk???

Not true, good coins have launched from here. LTC, XPM, XMR and quite a few others. You need people to support the coin otherwise it has no value. A few guys with most of the coins and the coin goes nowhere. Its just an experiment with a few friends in on it. Who will buy this? Nobody. Thats who.

How about explaining this in simple terms so that the layman can understand.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New and looking to buy Cryptocurrency on: January 08, 2015, 09:24:23 PM
Don't take advice from this forum or others. Do your own research. You have much reading to do..

That being said, Bitcoin. Its the reserve currency of all crypto and everything is traded for it. Buy now while its low, or maybe wait to see how low it goes.

So I am asking the OP again, why you don´t get together with vTorrent to bundle your ressource?

Because vTorrent has already launched and they premined 3%. I think they are going about it all wrong. Why have standard pow mining in a torrent coin? I can build a better mousetrap than that. lol

Thats the spirit! Really happy to hear you say that. I think by building something like this it will attract other developers that are like minded. I wish I could help but I know nothing about coding. Maybe advertising your intentions in developer forums will get some others interested in this project and the development help you are looking for. I would be surprised if other devs here wouldn't want to contribute. There must be good people here, even if they are few.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] BittorrentCoin -+- Torrents on the blockchain -+- Built in downloader on: January 04, 2015, 07:39:37 PM
Do you plan on complete decentralization? Torrent links in the blockchain as well as comments? Now that would be cool.

I had a few thoughts already, you may have thought of these but what the hey.

1) no PoW or PoS. Make the coin pure PoU proof of upload.

2) The faster the upload speed the more coins are accumulated. Anyone seeding at 10kb/s will get dick all coins. The reward needs to scale to all uploads otherwise inflation may be a problem. I have no idea how you can track that.

3) most if not all downloads are free and pirated material (this is what everyone wants)

4) Only seeders and uploaders should get paid.

5) You don't need a torrent client in the coin. Just need to create a coin that has the .torrent links and tracks who does what and pays out appropriately.

6) Please NO IPO/Premine/dev block percentage or anything like that. Do it for the good of humanity and to fuck the PTB.

I think something like this will gain alot of attention if it can be launched fully working. Anything else will be treated as a scam and this will go nowhere. So, what say you dev? Are you serious about replacing Pirate Bay or just here to make some money?

BTW: has anyone thought of using ads to get dev funds? Something completely off the blockchain.

1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] OPTI-COIN, Pure POW, backed by product,NO ICO/IPO/PREMINE, COMING SOON on: January 01, 2015, 09:42:49 PM
How about Sha256/Scrypt and a GPU friendly algo? Fork Myriad and remove a couple of the algos. This may attract more miners and may help with the coins popularity.

Just a thought...

1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pebblecoin (XPB) Launched - cryptonote coin on: January 01, 2015, 05:19:58 PM
Anyone get simplewallet to work on Win64?

I get this after issuing the command as instructed. Using both the devs and Vorksholk's code.. The daemon syncs up fine.

pebblecoin wallet v0.1.0.4()

shit algo! good X13!

X13, X11 all shit. Asic algos are the only fair algos. GPU mining is dead, taken over by FPGA rentals. So gay.

GPU mining is no dead.

What coin can I mine? I have 30 GPUs that suck electricity and thats it. I can barely pay for the electrical use. When alts go back up I will run my GPU rigs again. For now they are asleep and two in my gaming rig.

Why not use the same method for selling coins that music and bitsharesX used?
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: POND - Open Development Model | Merged Multi-algo | Fair Distribution on: December 26, 2014, 05:08:13 AM
Neoscrypt (Feathercoin, Phoenixcoin)
Lyra2RE (Vertcoin)
Skein (Myriadcoin, Digibyte, Skeincoin)
Myriad-Groestl (Myriadcoin, Digibyte)
Qubit (Myriadcoin, Digibyte, Qubitcoin)

Those are all GPU mineable. Why 5 algos for GPU when you really only need 1? Whassamatta don't like asics?

1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | Withdraw your Cinni from Exchanges on: December 25, 2014, 04:38:26 PM
Has the CINNI rocket launch for the moon left yet? If not why not get a seat on the SDC rocket ship? Its pilot is rynomster who left CINNI for better opportunities elsewhere

He will do it again if something else comes up that is better. I wouldn't hire this guy, so why would I want him as a dev for my investment?

1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [VNL] Vanillacoin Beta Pre-Release on: December 21, 2014, 01:13:52 AM
I had forks happen when the wallet started to mint staked coins. It looked like 2 different forks but for all I know it could have been more. I think PoS needs more testing.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the current blockchain is moving along very slowly. The previous one was going good until the PoS blocks kicked in.
