3 ) How did Scrypt claim to be ASIC Resistant and was there any fact to it - 18 Fantom

At first sCrypt was created to be GPU resistant, which it really wasn't. This was the reason for Litecoin. People wanted to CPU mine but could not compete with GPU rigs. Naturally after sCrypt was ported to GPU's the next claim was ASIC resistance since Bitcoin Asics just came out. Once there was enough demand for sCrypt asics people started making them. So was there any fact? Well, I suppose you could say it was GPU resistant for a period of time and ASIC resistant for a period of time. The same can be said about any coin out there. Once its value reaches a certain point, its worth making asics for it. But no PoW is really ASIC resistant.

Oh yeah, this is a possibility. I think the personal chain will be used by governments to track and control you. With it they will have every bit of information about you. All of your ID, where you work and have worked. Every dime you ever made and spent and where that happened. Every traffic ticket, fine, criminal charge. Everything will be on this chain, it will also be a requirement to work and be a citizen. People who don't have one will not be able to buy anything including food.. Sounds familiar huh? Mark of the beast..

It does sound familiar. Sounds like computer networks and FIAT the way you've put it. Everything you've listed is happening already.

The only problem they have is that their systems are not connected. The police still need to check your insurance slip and check your license renewal sticker. Other systems are even more disconnected. Plus we still have cash, an anonymous form of payment.  With the personal block chain everything you have ever done will be available to any agency, in any country, where ever you go. Because it will be carried by you, in your body on a microchip with bluetooth 7.0 that broadcasts at a 500ft range.. or something of that sort.

Attaining Legendary..

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Legendary:   Activity: the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement.
You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity,
but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.
Gets 5 gold coins under his name of which the last is half dark blue.

Thanks you 2, I will look into cryptopia.

2016 can't come soon enough to kick these pricks out. Donald Trump 2016!

Trump will win by a landslide in 2016. I also called Trudeau's landslide victory, no one believed me. It was glaringly obvious to me that he would win a majority government.

853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (Launched) SealandCoin Bid For National Currency Adoption In Sealand (Scrypt) on: October 18, 2015, 05:44:46 PM
So Sealand is real. I did not expect that...... do you guys have mining rigs out there..... seams like the oil ran out some while ago..... it make sense to have bitcoin miners there... at least there is penty of water for water cooling.... how many people do you live there? cannot be more than a couple of hundreds?

Looks like one guy. See him on the roof. Looks like he's playing golf. I'm sure he plays with himself alot.

He is in this pic as well, above the right pillar. Lookn' cool with his matrix jacket.

854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GPL] Gold Prpessed Latinum - New Hardfork on: October 11, 2015, 10:32:24 PM
No; I agree with the above posters. Don't change the parameters if you can help it.

If you want to fix the broken block chain (2 blocks/day) then fix the algo and difficulty issue. Change it to something more popular so its easier to mine with current gear.

855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many altcoins? on: October 08, 2015, 03:05:43 PM
You think this is alot? This is nothing, peanuts, compared to what is coming. If BTC takes off like some people think, alts will as well. This will attract many new users, devs, scammers etc. With the Gemini exchange and COIN ETF around the corner this could happen in 2016. I predict we'll see 10 altcoin launches a day, on a slow day. With all the fancy graphics and promises we have been seeing for the past couple of years. Noobs will be baited and continue to loose money.. nothing wil change it will only get worse.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Games that you would like to earn Hyper on: October 07, 2015, 01:21:30 PM
1 on 1 multiplayer fighting games, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and probably a bunch I haven't heard of. Would be fun to have an arena where players could challenge each other for crypto. Bets can be made too on who will win. If done properly it could attract gamers and gamblers.

857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which low supply/expensive coins to buy ? on: September 24, 2015, 02:47:47 PM

i wanted to put some risk to other coins too

Bitshares is releasing 2.0 Oct 13. There should be a nice pump up to release day. Good time to buy in and very likely to make money on this one.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEC]IvugeoEvolutionCoin[SCRYPT][POW][Blockchainweek.co] on: September 23, 2015, 08:05:48 PM
Its nice to see this coin is moving along. I had a good feeling about it, still holding all my IEC and will continue to do so. If the market is good (low price) after Oct 13th I'll buy more..

860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time to buy Ethereum? on: September 15, 2015, 05:36:08 PM
Risk it to wait. We will see better and cheaper times to get into Ethereum. For what it offers so far, the price is too high.

Think so as well. I would be patient and wait a bit longer. I tend to believe price will go down close to it's IPO price the next coming months.

I'm thinking the same thing and waiting for a lower price. So long as its still above IPO there will be dumpers looking to get into other coins.
