Well, to those who are mining, how do you like the reward system and the raised difficulty?
I like it. Its like a lottery when soloing. 2.222 or 22.2222 or more!! Puts the fun back into mining. Do you know of any GPU miners available for this that I can solo with? I had a look around but could not find anything other than GPU miners dedicated to certain pools. Yes, that is the general idea, that is taken from the original idea i had for our lotto, i added LottoShares code for the proper lotto since that implementation beat mine, but i hope everyone can enjoy mining....there is the chance to get 2222.222 (extremely rare) Looking forward to playing the lotto as well. I already got lucky with one 222.222 block. |

The network is down. Can't sync wallet. Need to get coins off Polo before they close the market.
Sucks this happens just as I decide to transfer my coins off the exchange. Thats what I get for waiting until the last day I suppose.
Yea I was really disappointed to see this coin slowly Die. I was mining it for a while and even bought quite a few pretty much at the high because I wanted it to succeed. Cloudpost was communicating with me for a while but then nothing... I'm working on the GPU Miner for CoinShield which launches this month. It's supposed to help prevent things like this or at least make them not hurt as much. I'll be mining that when it officially launches. The dev seems dedicated and sincere. Especially since he's spent almost 6 months implementing a completely new system and algorithm. A coin needs a dedicated dev team that will continue to support the coin to succeed. I believe ConShield will and that's why I've dedicated so much of my time making a new GPU miner specifically for it. I did the same, mined and bought in. Now I have plenty and most of it is on Polo. Strange thing is I managed to get 100K off polo then the network died. I wonder if it was Cloudpost removing the seed nodes or something like that. I still get connections, right now I have 6 active connections on the network. Yet no joy. I was even planning on mining this with one of my rigs to keep the network going. Shit! I'm going to check out coinshield now to see what thats all about. |

Lots happening with PINK. Just read through the thread. The only difference here is that its not being pumped by whales with 90% of the coins in their pockets. This one is a good investment for long term gain. |

i'm embarassed. can someone tell me how to unlock the wallet please  To unlock a wallet you go into console and type walletpassphrase YOURPASSWORD 99999 That will unlock the wallet for 99K seconds. I'm just curious why you want to unlock the wallet? Its only necessary in PoS coins for them to start minting. thanks for the reply. i'd tried that before, it doesn't work! just now i tried again: text shows in blue walletpassphrase xxxxxx 99999 true got me: text shows in red

and down in the r.h. corner, shows wallet still locked the reason i'm asking is that i suppose that someday i may want to send someone some coins  Easy answer, when sending coins the wallet asks you for a password. It unlocks, sends then locks. The only reason you need to unlock a wallet with the wallettpassphrase command would be to stake in a POS coin. Something like Blackcoin or PinkCoin. |

I still have some that I mined last year. Good luck. Since this is Quark algo it should be easy to mine with GPU now.
Any plans for marketing/promotion? How do you plan to get this one going again? Restoring the nodes and network is usually not enough.
Block explorer with a rich list would be the first thing we need. No investors before that.

If I may interject my opinion on this Timeshare project.
As I understand it, Cinni holders will get a 10:1 ratio for the snap shot.
Now that is all fine and dandy. But wouldn't be a wise decision and get new faces into the project by also allowing PTS/AGS holders to get a cut, that is part of the Bitshare consensus?
By doing so your giving this project a HUGE amount of potential backing by introducing that eco system into the mix.
A good ratio IMO would be 80/20.
80% to Cinni wallet holders (8:1)
10% to PTS holders and 10% to AGS holders
Of course you're not OBLIGATED to include PTS/AGS holders.
But, on the other hand, I think you'd be shooting this project in the foot by not including them. Just forking Bitshares wouldn't be a wise move. There's no incentive.
Outside of Timeshares, have you thought about doing a bitCINNI asset. That would be another way to get things going!

Hey Emailtooaj, I agree thats a great idea to include PTS and AGS holders in the distribution. It would add value I would need to tell them about it on their forum. I would be happy with that since I hold all 3.  Timeshares to the mooooooon! From what I understand Daniel has a well documented SDK for Bitshares. At least that was the plan. |

Let me explain more about what TimeShares is. What I will do is take a snapshot of Cinni's blockchain and that would be the distribution of the TimeShares project. I will also ask exchanges to help so Cinni holders on exchanges on the time of the snapshot get their TimeShares too. Users of TimeShares will be able to use units of time as the currency. This detail will be made in the user interface rather than in the block chain itself. TimeShares will display a users balance as units of time and allow users to send units of time to each other. BitsharesX has 2 billion coins TimeShares will have ~150 million coins. 10 coins for each Cinni. In the time calculations in the user interface, each coin is calculated as 1 hour. So if someone has a million TimeShares, his wallet balance is shown as 114 Years, 56 Days 39 Hours 59 Minutes 59 seconds. When a user sends time, the user interface will convert the amount of time being sent back into actual coins before sending the transaction to the block chain. I haven't decided on the trading code yet. I am open to suggestions. Maybe TIME, HOUR, TSHARE, or something similar. Since I am building this project as a BitSharesX fork, it will have BitSharesX's features too. Noirbits has a max of 21 million coins, not sure how many are in circulation and Noirshares has 4 million. When you merge the two chains will you be giving out shares proportionally based on max coins or price?

Me personally I like Stella and the Erdinger. Bud light is nice on a hot summer day. This fall I'll be drinking the Canadian once my scrypt asics arrive. Labatt Blue for BTC because that was high school beer. The first ... the one that started it all. |
