I thought ICO was dead now for a while. Last few haven't returned any profits .. I guess everyone has figured you guys out. Just wasting your time, our time...

100k premine? No thanks.
Yeah, that kinda has me thinking twice as well. Just turned off the lone cpu I had mining this.

cpuminer stuck.. current block si 527 Switching to getwork, gbt version 112 then nothing.. anybody? Happens to me too, I used wallet to mine instead.
|

You can modify the code in the wallet so that you get very low difficulty, then mine a whole lotta blocks in a few minutes, then all other nodes accept those blocks since you have the most hash on the network. So you can mine out the coin if u really wanted.
Well, that's how I think it works anyways so if I'm wrong then someone chime in and correct me.

|
it got stuck at getwork for a while but after letting it running for a while it started hashing but didn't find any blocks till now
Whats your CPU utilization like? I picked 8 threads with an 8 core cpu and had about 60% utilization. With the wallet miner I get about 95% utilization.

|
|
Anyone find any blocks with the cpuminer? Mine runs, then uses much less CPU than the threads that I specify and it doesn't report any hashes like you would normally see. Is this normal? Windows 7 x64..

Just when you thought we had enough altcoins... good job dev! I actually like the idea. nice... Personally I will not participate.
goodluck

It would need a developer like Dan Larimer I agree with you completely.

I earn about .1 per day mining. After electric costs. This past summer was earning .35+ per day.

what do you think about this coin 2ndEUR? Scam. Invest if you want to see your coins become worthless right before your eyes..

So are you already involved with autistic people somehow? You should tell us..

Hi granite-ites, just voted on the multi algo question and wanted to leave my two cents..
I always thought it would be good to have a coin that could be mined with both types of ASICs as well as FPGA, GPU and CPU. You pretty much have it covered with x11/sCrypt/Sha256d. So whats left is choosing a CPU algo that doesn't have any gpu miners built for it or one that would be difficult for gpu miners to be created. Momentum may be a possibility. Modified primecoin is another one. What would be perfect is to come up with a new algo that relies on CPU instructions to work. Something that uses only say SSE2 or AVX2. Its beyond my understanding so I can't say if this will work or if it is even possible.

Just started working on a new Altcoin depending on how the test auction goes. This will be a derivative backed coin for American Social Security benefits. Will be working with benefit attorney to finish this one and launch by March 2016. Stay posted for more details. Feel free to drop any suggestions below on how you think this coin should be staked.
So you admit that your in this for the money... when can we expect an ICO? Your benefits labor and employment lawyer will want a retainer up front. Usually $5000+ Unless maybe its your friend or just a law student?

Ok so dev bails and now Fantom has highest PoW hash rate of all time?
What is going on with this...
Maybe another dev planning a takeover and getting some coins while they can? Why else the high hash if the coin is dying..

Someone's already announced a method of combating DNA Cryptocurrency using TFH.
Tinfoil hats.
Problem is you can't buy tinfoil anymore. Its all aluminum foil. The bastards even took that from us!! What you really need are crystals.. like these.. encased in resin with scrap metal and other shit. A few of these around the house, maybe one up the keister and no DNA bad guys gonna get ya.

Hi! I have 2 Win cpu mining questions.
1 - I can mine only with an i7 cpu. The core 2 duo or celeron G1820 doesn't work and crashes both miners(32 or 64 bit). It looks like crashing while submitting solution... Any hints?
2 - I cannot set a mining proxy due to the miner built-in address. Is there any way to bypass the miner built-in host address?
I am looking into this too - will let you all know - I hate being ripped off by pools All you need to do is solo mine through the wallet and you'll hit the same, if not more, blocks than with a pool. It's the same probability except when you solomine, you don't have your pool taking a fee and your hash isn't pinched off the top. Plus, solomining makes for a healthier network. Solo is the way to go. This is how I mine too. If you have multiple computers and don't want to deal with separate wallets then just use the same wallet.dat on all your PCs.

How weak your security even got hacked 2 times dev?
Do you understand that he somehow was able to crack the paper wallet! Paper wallet! How!? He photocopied it... its an employee..
|
|

Do what Next did, roll back the blockchain. We all lost anyways so this way only some lose. Then you use that premine to make the losers whole again. Problem solved.
So did you file a police report? If it was your paper wallet that was stolen that it had to be someone you know.

Its always about making money, but isn't everything about that?
Some new crypto is actually created to further the technology along. Bitcoin is great but its 2009 tech, we need to keep evolving so we keep making new altcoins.
The few legitimate "2.0" coins out there are - Bitshares, Ripple, Ethereum, Counterparty, Maidsafe, Next, Stellar, Mastercoin, eMune. I know I missed some so you need to do more research.
You'll find these projects at different stages of development. None of which have caught on and gone mainstream yet but neither has bitcoin. Will any of them? I hope so since I hold some of them.
Then you have the anonymous coins. - Dash, Monero, Aeon, ShadowCash, and a few others. These attempt to hide transactions in the blockchain. They work and will work better with more adoption. I hold some of these as well.
Hi-PoS coins (High Interest Proof of Stake) these are forks of Peercoin where holding coins generates interest. I actually like these, just with the recent bitcoin rise they seem to have tanked.. Some are - Bottlecaps, Hobonickels, Tek, Netcoin, etc.. Not sustainable but fun to stake and trade.
We also have the bitcoin forks. Which is most of the coins.. These are copies of the bitcoin core where the developers changed the parameters of the coin. Generally these are total amount, emission, block time and of course premine.. A ten minute job for someone that has done it before. Most of these are made to enrich the developer and nothing more. Some have lasted over the years and are traded at low volume. I would stay away from these.

He is also not logging on anymore. Moving on.
Last time he logged in was Sunday, two days ago... Lets see if he shows up this week. If not I'm out too.
