401  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kosher Money? on: May 22, 2014, 10:39:18 AM
What is Kosher Money?

Google it. Stricts Jews have religious laws that they have to abide by.
Islamic law has similar rules, there have been a few threads on it and they came to more or less the same conclusion, bitcoin fits in with the laws but needs approval from the relevant groups before it can be called Kosher. Fwiw bitcoin could also be considered constitutional (US) for more or less the same reasons it could be considered Kosher and fiat currencies are neither constitutional nor Kosher.

I think people should make their own minds up rather than just going to advice from 'relevant' groups. What understanding of bitcoin will some sort of Muslim or Jewish Council have? What if they say it shouldnt be used when there's no real grounds for them to say such a thing?
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin changed my life on: May 22, 2014, 10:27:50 AM
Hopefully bitcoin will change all our lives eventually and also many other peoples around the world. I really think bitcoin could be almost as revolutionary as the internet. We just need to give it time and watch it grow.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin-pizza day on: May 22, 2014, 10:09:13 AM
I don't think Pizza Hut accept btc, but to celebrate Pizza Day everybody should purchase pizza with actual Bitcoins. Do your bit for the network and community and I'm sure it could be turned into a national celebration eventually lol.
404  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need Paypal,Can give btc. on: May 22, 2014, 09:52:45 AM
IF you send this guy money via paypal you wont get any coins back. I know you can just do a chargeback, but I wouldnt bother giving this user any money for free.
405  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell newbie with avatars on: May 22, 2014, 09:46:42 AM
Why would anyone buy a newbie account when you can get it for free?

Because they have avatars and have older registered dates. Users with avatars and older accounts seem more established and you could quickly build them up to higher Member accounts.
406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mr Bitty Loves you Alll BittyBing is over delayed and we are sorry! on: May 22, 2014, 09:44:26 AM
I think this guy is just trolling you all and leading you along with nothing buy hype. All he does is post images of that stupid character. This site has been coming longer than PrimeDice 3 lol.
407  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Free 0.002/0.005 BTC] PrimeDice 600,000,000 bets giveaway! on: May 22, 2014, 09:40:45 AM
I seriously doubt this is still paying out. Stunna should lock it if it's not. I'm surprised he hasnt already. Who was the last person to get credited?
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: We need to pass $547 to see a REAL jump! on: May 22, 2014, 09:39:32 AM
I wish people would invest more time in actually promoting bitcoin than just speculating on the price. These petty rises and falls probably wont matter much in the grander scheme of things. Let's see where the price is at when we've got 100s of merchants daily all across the globe accepting bitcoin.
409  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sen. Rand Paul to take the Senate Floor Wednesday to Contest Drone Policy on: May 22, 2014, 09:36:39 AM
Rand Paul seems to be the only sane face in the contest for the POTUS 2016. More than anyone else, it is the American public who needs Paul to win this election. In case he wins, the budget deficit and public debt will be lowered, and the American war machine will be put to rest.

I admire his conviction and tenacity, but sadly I doubt this us going to do any good, but I'm glad he's standing up. I think he's going to create some pretty powerful enemies though if he keeps this up.
410  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-21] Bitcoin in Uganda - Empowering People ! on: May 22, 2014, 09:34:51 AM
This is one of the larger reasons I love bitcoin. From the devaluation of fiat currencies to the borderline criminal remittance fees charged to impoverished nations, Bitcoin has the capability to dissolve much of the exploitation of the less fortunate.

Yeah, it's an industry where bitcoin could grow massively, but I only hope it isn't capitalized on by unscrupulous people who will start charging ridiculous fees to transfer the coins back into fiat.
411  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE MORE. UP TO 0.0014 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: May 21, 2014, 08:15:01 PM
What time do the payouts get sent out tomorrow and when do they stop being counted and roll over to the next week. Thanks.

I wouldn't want to pay the amount in any currency that they were asking. Ticket price were ridiculous, though they apparently dropped recently: http://www.forbes.com/sites/jesselawrence/2014/05/20/on-the-run-tour-tickets-down-13-5-since-jay-z-solange-elevator-brawl/  lol

I've seen this story posted several times here already, but it is a really inspiring way bitcoin can help people who need it the most. I really hope it excels in these sorts of countries and the remittance market.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trinity of cryptos! bitcoin, litecoin and Dogecoin. on: May 21, 2014, 06:19:12 PM
Doge is a stupid fad

Maybe, but it's still going for a fad, though I'm sure it's intrigue will decline gradually. It certainly hasn’t had as many media mentions as of late and that's what it thrives on.

416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple BTC wallets for security? on: May 17, 2014, 02:43:18 PM
Yes it's better to have a couple of wallets. Try using an online one like blockchain.info for a daily use wallet and have an offline one for your main stash. Send money to different addresses if you dont want people knowing how much money you have in that particular wallet.
417  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE MORE. UP TO 0.0014 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: May 16, 2014, 10:32:07 AM
I'll probably be joining this after the 17th when I get paid for my PrimeDice sig, but payments usually take a couple of days, and also maybe he might try compete with this deal - but then Ritz will probably try outbid that too lol.
418  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-05-13 Guardian - DarkWallet returns bitcoin to its anarchic origins on: May 13, 2014, 05:06:02 PM
I've got a bad feeling that something bad is going to happen sooner or later. I'm not so sure about him myself. I like a lot of what he does and what he stands for, but he also seems a bit sketchy. I'm sure the government will try pin something on him sooner or later.
419  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the most important person ever? on: May 13, 2014, 09:08:12 AM
My parents. Without them I wouldn’t be here.

You quite literally wouldn't be here lol. I'm not sure who the most important person is to me. I dont really have any heroes perse.
420  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you even lift? on: May 13, 2014, 09:01:38 AM
I'm not a gym rat but I go to the gym twice a week but swim once as well. It's good to keep active more for your health than any aesthetic purposes which is what I think most people tend to go for.
