Ironic to think it was the rippling effects of the Gutenberg Press that gave rise to the enlightenment which changed the course of Western history to that of science and technology which you and I are happy to make use of today. When religious people can't spell words correctly anymore, believe me if I tell you this phenomenon is a sign of the times.
Before the Gutenberg Press, 99% of people were illiterate and could not afford to buy a single book (hand-copied books were insanely expensive) The only religious people who could spell were scribes

Don't be too harsh on them, maybe they were just so excited with what they're posting that they did not notice their typo errors. I mean, it does happen. Or maybe like me English is not their native language that's why they are making these mistakes.
No, it's not that they are excited and didn't notice... It's a common theme... I have MANY debates with religious people, and 75% of them constantly spell words wrong, simple words, like lose vs loose Here is an example where a christian asshole isn't leaving a tip because of the waitress' "tatoo" How do you misspell a 6 letter word like tattoo?!? Why didn't Jesus help you spell properly? WWJD? Would Jesus have ignored the tattoo and tipped the waitress? It is not just once in a while, it's nearly every person and nearly every sentence has spelling errors... it's an epidemic... it makes me sad how uneducated religious bigots are

How hard is it really?
This is 2017... we have spell-check, we have auto-correct...
I constantly see religious people misspell words that a 3rd grader should know... wtf?!?
Your computer will underline words you spell wrong... how hard is it?!?
You look like a fool when you make 3+ spelling mistakes in 2 sentences... I can't take that seriously
Sometimes it's difficult to even tell what the person is trying to say because their spelling and grammar is just THAT bad
What gives?
Is it a lack of education among religious people?
I don't understand how any adult could misspell simple words with only 4-5 letters... how do you survive life?

Priests are not even afraid to rape little boys... nobody is afraid of god
Horny priests sodomizing the choir boys is less serious when compared to the attempts by the Vatican to shield these priests. It is the pope who should be blamed for this pathetic state of affairs. He is afraid to act against the pedos. And what of the popes to blame? No he can't answer for everyone. It's the fault of the position of the Church which he is obliged to support. Every religion is poison. When people will understand it they will live better. Religion imposes on people a false value. Pope was the one who pardoned these perverts and he even promoted some of them to various high ranking positions in the Vatican. The current pope is a typical hypocrite. He claims that he is against pedophilia, and at the same time he is promoting these pedo-priests. As of 2015, the catholic church has spent over $4 BILLION defending pedophile priests... The Catholic Church Has Paid Out $3,994,797,060.10 as a Result of the Sex Abuse Scandalshttp://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2015/11/04/the-catholic-church-has-paid-out-3994797060-10-as-a-result-of-the-sex-abuse-scandals/

Besides the fact that our moral system has nothing to do with Christianity
People always point to the 10-commandments... as if they are laws or something... 1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me (not a law) 2) Thou shalt not make idols (not a law) 3) Thou shalt not take gods name in vain (not a law) 4) Honor thy father and mother (not a law) 5) Keep the sabbath holy (not a law) 6) Thou shalt not kill (finally, one that is a law, though it was a law long before Christianity... Christians did not invent "do not murder") 7) Thou shalt not commit adultery (not a law) 8} Thou shalt not steal (another law that was invented before Christianity) 9) Thou shalt not covet (not a law) 10) Thou shalt not covet (again, not a law... don't know why god has to repeat himself either)
2 out of 10 does not form the basis of modern morality... especially considering both of the commandments which happen to be laws, were already laws before the bible was even written
Beyond the 10-commandments, you have things like: Not allowed to eat meat and dairy in the same meal (penalty = death) Not allowed to wear clothing made from 2 different materials (penalty = death) Not allowed to plant 2 different crops in the same field (penalty = death) Not allowed to work or travel more than a mile from your house on Sunday (penalty = death) Not allowed to eat pork or seafood (penalty = death) Not allowed to rape a virgin (penalty = you must marry her) (true story, it's in the bible!)
None of this makes sense, or are laws, or have anything to do with morality...
You are quite wrong here Moloch. No document in world history so changed the world for the better as did the 10-commandments. Western civilization would not have developed nor can it be sustained without them. You don't know your history... the 10-commandments are based on previous works, such as the code of Hammurabi Civilized society existed before christianity was invented There is nothing new in the bible in regards to morality... it was all written down before the bible As I have proven, our laws are NOT based on the bible... none of them Philosophy has given morals to the people, not religion The main reason people don't commit crimes is not because they fear god, but because they fear the police Nobody takes the 10-commandments seriously... if they did, people wouldn't lie all the time (oh, christians lie... all the time)... Jesus said a lie is as bad as murder to god... all the commandments are the same... People are not good because of god, they are good because of laws and police Some people are good because they understand the philosophy behind being good, and how that makes for a better society for everyone... not because of god, never because of god... Priests are not even afraid to rape little boys... nobody is afraid of god

tl;dr - Atheism is a cult, blah blah blah
It's ironic how christians call everyone a cult except themselves... As Jesus said, "First remove the log from your own eye, before trying to remove the splinter from the atheist's eye"

Without Christianity the current moral system wouldn't exist. What exactly would? Who knows
What morality are you talking about? So according to you, all the non-Christian people are immoral? The Christians want to impose their view on morality over the others. That's not going to work everywhere. Yeah. If all people think like that, pretty much all religion would be poison. Come on, there are a lot of religions aside from christianity and some are even a lot older. Its ok if you believe christian teachings but putting other religions in a bad light i think isn't very christian also Besides the fact that our moral system has nothing to do with Christianity People always point to the 10-commandments... as if they are laws or something... 1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me ( not a law) 2) Thou shalt not make idols ( not a law) 3) Thou shalt not take gods name in vain ( not a law) 4) Honor thy father and mother ( not a law) 5) Keep the sabbath holy ( not a law) 6) Thou shalt not kill (finally, one that is a law, though it was a law long before Christianity... But it's the religious mindset that makes people ignorant lazy and stupid.
Almost every religious person I know is fat, ignorant and stupid. So there goes your stupid beliefs.
I'd say let the religions die, they are a horrible thing. I have stopped believing in the bullshit when I was a kid, I guess I was too smart that I figured out it's all nonsense.
Your words have a huge share of truth, but if you look at the fact that the cult of atheism is beginning to develop very much, all these predictions in the future can really come true. Already today, all believers feel some negative consequences of all this. First you have to stop listening to BADlogic and his propaganda squad... There is no "cult of atheism" Atheism is not a religion, it is a lack of religion... it is a non-belief... there is no holy text, no gods, no dogma, no anything There is almost zero organization to atheism... and that is only to battle religious crap like putting up 10-commandment statues and teaching religion in school, etc It's like saying that people who don't believe in Santa Claus are in a cult and trying to ruin the world for everyone who does believe in Santa... it's just silly and stupid... Where do people come up with this shit? Is it simply projecting? Because they are in a cult, they assume everyone is in a cult?

I teally dont see why so kany people hate the thought of the existence of GOD and to follow his words. Because i really don't see anything wrong with it. I mean belief in GOD and his religion it is the only gamble in life that can guarantee you a win win situation, coz if i believe and he happens to be real, then i get to go to heaven, and if he's a hoax, then at keast i know i have been a good man to this world and everyone around me because i followed his commandments and teachings that preached nothing but good stuff.
God only allows people who use spell-check into heaven

...to religion Why? we are in a free world let them believe and praise what they know and believe in. . I just say YES , because religion unites most of the countrymen in a particular countries that have a religion. What are you smoking? Religion doesn't unite people, it divides people... The bible literally says to kill gay people... to kill anyone who tries to teach you another religion, etc... that is just plain WRONG, and extremely divisive

Excessive fascination with religion can poison a person's mind, but in moderate amounts a person can believe in anything but just need to impose it on others. After all, religion is a legend invented by other people.
Religion was invented by the intelligent people, to enslave the less intelligent ones. Christianity is no different. If you look around, you can see the Bishops and Deacons roaming around in their BMWs. And at the same time, many of the Christian faithful struggle to feed themselves. Bill Maher: People in a congregation must know that the outfit was financed by their donations, and it doesn't seem to bother them. Preacher: I always dress well. Bill Maher: I see! Are those gators? (pointing to his shoes) Peacher: Those are lizards. Bill Maher: What do they run? Preacher: They don't run. They crawl. Bill Maher: And I see you got a lot of bling. Preacher: I like gold. The people want you to look well. Bill Maher: That's what pimps say about their women. Peacher: I was told by one of the greatest pimps that ever lived-- his name is called God-- that if you know what you got, then you ain't got much. Jesus dressed very well.
So ridiculous... no wonder he named the movie Religulous

Faith is a subset of belief
Belief = things I believe are true (usually based on evidence) Faith = things I believe are true (contrary to evidence)
Faith presumes that there is no evidence to support your belief. If you had facts and evidence, you wouldn't need faith... faith by definition means you have no evidence to support your belief
I believe the mailman will deliver mail on monday-saturday... because previous experience (evidence) suggests he will...
A religious person might have faith that god will heal the legs of a paraplegic... but it wont happen, no matter how much faith you have... this is contrary to all evidence... people do not re-grow limbs once removed, no matter how hard they pray... faith/prayer/god is useless

I don't really agree with religion and i support this image. We are able to deny it with respect and humor.
Friends, so you do not believe in religion? Do not believe in a god? Already know who the creator of the universe, can man do that. He said he don't really agree with religions, he did not said anything about not believing in religion. I don't know why there are people who are so fed up when it comes to religion. It is not that I don't believe in it because it is a culture in our place but I nust can't include myself to the debate about what is the real religion. It's really my friend, I'm not concerned about religion. Too many arguments in religion, it should be a matter of religion let people and their god know. Religion is a culture hence need to be preserved. Life would be no fun without Ids, Christmas, Holi, etc. Both Christmas and Easter were taken from pre-existing pagan holidays... Christians did not invent Christmas or Easter; they had already been established holidays and celebrated for centuries before anyone ever heard of Jesus (why do you think they celebrate Jesus' birth on Dec 25 when he was born in the spring?) Christmas was originally called Yule (season) or Saturnalia (winter solstice), and Easter was called Ēostre (spring equinox) - named after the goddess Ôstara/Ôstarmânoth (which explains easter bunnies, egg hunts, et al) Feel free to look this stuff up... it's common knowledge across google and the interwebs The celebration of Christmas as the birth day of Jesus is based on a date of a pagan feast rather than historical analysis. Saturnalia, the Roman feast for Saturn was associated with the winter solstice (between Dec 21st and 23th in northern hemisphere)...

I don't understand why people fear gays so much that they can't stop talking about them... Are you afraid that you might turn gay?
People don't "turn" gay... you are either gay or you are not (or somewhere in between, it's a spectrum)... how hard is this to understand?
Gay people deserve every right that anyone else has, including the right to not have assholes repressing them all day, every day
Why do people waste so much time being afraid of gays? How would you feel if you were part of a minority group that got shitted on daily?
