Sometimes when I eat M&Ms, I like to hold two M&Ms in between my fingers and squeeze as hard as I can until one M&M cracks... I eat the cracked one, and the one that didn't crack becomes the champion... Then I grab another M&M and force it to compete with the champion in this deadly game of M&M gladiators... I do this until I run out of M&Ms and when there is only one M&M left standing... I send a letter to Mars brand with the champion M&M in it, with a note attached that reads: "please use this M&M for breeding purposes."

Come and see the proof that God exists. Combine cause and effect with complexity with entropy and see that the way these work in our universe prove that God exists.

Let's say, hypothetically, that you could somehow prove the universe had a creator...

Can you prove it was only 1 god, and not 3 or 50 gods working together?

Can you prove it was not the Invisible Pink Unicorn, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Can you prove the universe was created by the Christian God?

Thank God that science and logic are proving things that I might not be able to prove.

Why bother replying if you neither answer any of the questions, nor provide your "proof that god exists"?

Did you even read it, or just pull a random response out of a hat?

Are you a bot?  Can you provide evidence that you are not a robot?

"Me Moloch. Me want this and this and this."

I feel like debating a brick wall would be more productive...

Why are you here?

Do you enjoy spending all day trolling like a 12 year old?

I apologize for being so vague. I moved the folder containing all my bitcoin info to a flash drive and then rebooted my computer back to factory settings. I still have the original address in another place. And yes the wallet created a new address. Is there any way to add original address/move my bitcoins located at my old address to the new address. My OS is windows 7. My back up was supposed to be on that same flash drive, but I can't seem to locate it.

If you copied the bitcoin folder to your flash drive, it should contain a file called, "wallet.dat"... this is the only file you need

Copy the wallet.dat file to where the bitcoin program is looking for it (it's not looking at your flash drive)

The default location for windows is in C:\Users\[Login_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\wallet.dat  (some folders may be "hidden")

This reminds me of those cultists that believe in the flying spaghetti monster.  Cheesy

If by cultists, you mean comedians... sure

The thing about FSM is that its a joke... everyone knows its a joke... nobody believes its real, like they do the bible/god/jesus/etc

1. Though shalt not use force.
2. Though shalt not deceive.
3. Be excellent to one another.

+1 for #3

Honestly, you sound like a religious preacher now... asserting things as true, which are not self-evident as such

You make way too many assumptions, such as the placebo affect being a presupposition that you will get better... there are many more likely explanations with more evident credibility

you are also way off topic, please get back on topic
1192  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can you come up with a better Ten Commandments? on: May 03, 2016, 07:35:05 PM
You are simply uninformed. What I'm saying is also applied in hypnosis and suggestion. It is known as presupposition.

You "load" a sentence with a presupposition and it goes right through.

Actions are the same. They are subconscious presuppositions.

Its simply not true and you cannot possibly prove it

How do you know the correlation is not the other way around?  I could use the same evidence to say that uncreative people resort to thievery... it's because they are not capable of creating on their own that they must steal...
1193  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can you come up with a better Ten Commandments? on: May 03, 2016, 07:25:27 PM
If you factor the subconsciously implied self-limitations, then nobody would want to be a thief. The long-term losses far outweigh the short-term "gains". They aren't gains really.

Sorry, I don't buy what you're selling...

There are no objective "subconsciously implied self-limitations"... this sounds like something you made up and could not possibly apply to everyone

You say the act of stealing means I'm not capable of building something on my own... there is no correlation; that's just silly nonsense... many thieves are highly creative
1194  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can you come up with a better Ten Commandments? on: May 03, 2016, 06:33:39 PM
I decided the morality of the ten commandments could be boiled down into, "Do not harm or deceive anyone"...
...
Can you come up with a better list, or improve upon what I've got going here?

Yes.

There is only 1 command, which combines spirituality, morality and logic. It is also the only command that can lead to a coherent output for societies and individuals alike:

Do what is in your best interest.

Game theory has it's own issues... it is often used to prove a point, but is not reliable or consistent in all situations

One example would be theft... it is bad if everyone is a thief, good if nobody is a thief... but, it is best if you are a thief and nobody else is a thief... but that is self-contradictory, if you assume more than 1 person understands this concept... it often leads to an impossible/catch-22 situation

I would again defer to the Aborigines:
Do what is in the best interest of everyone
1195  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Legal Migration Overrunning US on: May 03, 2016, 08:34:02 AM
I keep reading this shit about exploiting welfare system...
But please explain me how you benefit welfare without American Nationality? Roll Eyes
They say the same dumb shit about welfare exploitation in Europe. But you don't get shit if you're an illegal migrant!

Who told you that illegal aliens are not eligible for welfare payments? According to the study by Center for Immigration Studies, 62% of the households headed by illegal immigrants receive welfare payments (the same for natives was 30%). The link is here:

http://cis.org/Welfare-Use-Legal-Illegal-Immigrant-Households

If by welfare payments, you mean their kids get free lunch at school...

If you can trust those statistics, 48% get free lunch at school, 22% get food stamps, 51% get medicaid

Only 4.5% are receiving actual cash welfare... compared to 9.5% of "Natives", which I assume means natural born US citizens since it claims 104.6million people
(seems odd to call citizens, natives... eh?)

It also lists 3.4million illegal and 12.8million legal immigrants, not "55 million Latinos, some 12 million are illegal aliens" mentioned in another post

Usually those people don`t have a job ,so they steal.
The prolbem isn`t racial...

So, you're saying that 99% of people who steal food... do it because they are hungry?  Interesting...

It probably also depends on how you define criminal... 50% of "criminals" in 'Murica are simply people who enjoy cannabis
1197  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can you come up with a better Ten Commandments? on: May 03, 2016, 07:59:04 AM
Only one Commandment is enough.
Never cheat your woman/man. Grin Grin

God felt this one was important enough to make 2 separate commandments...

Thou shalt not commit adultery
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors ass

I suppose the second one is more of a thought-crime... since you didn't actually do anything besides catch a glimpse of your neighbors ass and enjoy it

Fight over seat at church has deadly end - One man pulled a gun
http://www.krmg.com/news/news/local/seat-fight-pennsylvania-church-has-deadly-end/nrFqZ/

Quote
PHILADELPHIA, Pa —

The sanctuary of the Keystone Fellowship Church used to be a safe place for church members to worship and fellowship with others. That changed abruptly Sunday when a member opened fire during service.

An argument began after Mark Storms, 46, told Robert Braxton III, 27, he was sitting in seats reserved for two other church members, according to a statement made by District Attorney Kevin Steele, The New York Daily News reported.

After a church member tapped Braxton on the shoulder to let him know he was in someone else’s seat, Braxton  yelled “don’t (expletive) touch me” an affidavit obtained by NBC Philadelphia said.

Witnesses told reporters that Braxton started making a scene over the seat, but soon calmed down after talking to a church usher and a pastor.

But the situation took a violent turn when Storms approached Braxton, carrying a gun, telling the 27-year-old to get out of the sanctuary.

“When he came over, he had a gun out, escalating the situation,” Steele said at a press conference on Thursday. “Braxton then took a swing at the defendant, punching him in the jaw.”

Braxton then tells Storms “(Expletive) you and your fake badge, get the (expletive) out of here,” according to a witness. “That’s not a real gun,” another witness said she remembered hearing in the their exchange.

Braxton then proceeds to ask, “What are you going to do, shoot me?” according reports.

Storms shot Braxton once in the chest and again in the right arm.

Braxton died of gunshot wounds later that afternoon after being rushed to Abington-Lansdale Hospital.

Storms was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment.

“Storms’ shooting of Mr. Braxton was not a reasonable self-defense situation,” Steele said. “It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to bring a gun to church.”

“You don’t go to church to be killed. You just don’t do that,” Diana Walters, Braxton’s aunt, told WPVI. “He’s a young man. He had his whole life ahead of him.”

During his arraignment, Storms insisted that he used his weapon for self-defense. Bail is set at $250,000.

You should understand that ideas, ideologies and religions can't kill others, hate people or something like this.
Only people can do it.
It's very often that people misunderstand basic ideas behind religions and do very bad things in the name of God or their own religion.
Still, we shouldn't accuse religion for it but people.

I disagree with your statement that we shouldn't blame religion... religion is the enabler

Without religion, these people might not have killed anyone...

It's like someone inventing a nuke, then when people misuse it, and destroy the planet, you blame people?  You have to blame both... without the nuke, people would not have been able to destroy the planet... same goes for religion, it enables people to be wicked while believing they are the good guy... (flying an airplane into a building, et al)

It's an evil book, which enables people to act in evil ways

All the Book talks about doing is destroying evil people and anything that they make evil. Destroying evil is good. The Book is good.

It also has wonderful moral lessons... like... if an angry mob wants to rape your house-guests, you should let the mob rape your virgin daughters instead (ref. Lot and the story of Sodom and Gomorrah)

Quote from: Blink 182
Then later on... on the drive home
I called her mom... from a pay phone
I said I was the cops... and your husband's in jail
The state looks down on sodomy

My church did not even segregate these fairy tales based on age... I knew what both sodomy and rape were by the time I was 6
(from the stories, not the priest... super sad that I need to clarify this... just sayin)
