401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List Exchanges Hacked 2011 / 2019 on: February 04, 2019, 01:53:27 PM
These things are getting out of hand and since bitcoin is something untraceable for someone who knows what they are doing, there is really no way of knowing who stole what. Hence the hacks will continue, when someone hacks a fiat thing usually you can trace the money somehow even when its cash you can trace the numbers on the cash.

Still, when it is crypto its really difficult since there are bitcoin mixers and all that which helps the hackers get the bitcoin to their wallet without leading anyone to their cove. I doubt we will have an end to this hacking thing, I don't think there is a way to actually stop hackers, no matter what kind of protection you make against them they will find a new and better way to hack the websites and exchanges to get the money from them.

Rinz here with an amazing 990x win for over $31,000!

Do you ping like this all wins above 10k$?
Anyway congratulations to Rinz as it's a game changing win.
It is kind of both advertisement and encouragement. I mean they are advertising in a way that shows it is in fact possible to win this much and also try to say go out and test it out yourself and see if you can make it as well. I mean its not wrong there is always a chance to hit it big but what are the odds of hitting this big? Its very rare.

The threshold is so high that it doesn't really bother me honestly, I mean 30 thousand dollars and more really means that person probably made profit, sometimes people win like 1000 dollars and you say god knows how many times they had to bet to reach that level but when someone wins 30 thousand you know he must have profited unless he was super unlucky, hitting that much of an odd on that price probably means he got like over 20 thousand profit easily.

Oh my god this is by far the best design on a game I have ever seen. By far the best. Incredibly work put into this, I am really in love with it. I can't stop looking at it. Games need a bit more players and more action and maybe potentially more games but with a look like this I can't really imagine how you guys can fail, it looks like you are destined to be amazing.

I love pvp games on casinos because it makes the casino suddenly super trustworthy, when you are gambling against the casino everyone fears the possibility of casino scamming them however when the game is pvp there is no way casino will scam you since they are making money whoever wins which makes the casino super trustworthy right away. With this awesome design and the super trustworthy pvp style, I think this will become one of the biggest websites out there in crypto gambling world.
404  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | ETH & LTC Accepted! 👽 on: February 03, 2019, 03:37:56 PM
First of all it doesn't matter how big of a pocket you have because there is always that max amount you can bet and if you reach there and still lose you are not going to martingale further to make that win back and if you lose again at max on twice you are not seeing that money again no matter what. It  means the whales of gambling have higher chance of losing than winning if they do reckless stuff like that. Also the purpose of a casino is to help you have fun while spending money, it is not losing money in real life, it is spending money on a casino to have fun.

If you have fun then there is no difference between the whale and small betting. You can bet 10 btc on a game or 10 satoshi and as long as you have fun, chat, talk, risk, there is all kinds of reasons to gamble.
405  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Bitcoin Accepting Sportsbooks (with margin/house edge comparisons) on: February 03, 2019, 02:57:28 PM
yes, can't believe a sportsbook offering fiat deposits without KYC would last very long....

hmm not sure about that to be honest , for example I use a fiat broker that accepts bitcoin and they told me they don't have KYC for bitcoin users
I have been using them for around 1 year now and still able to deposit and withdraw without KYC
so don't think that fiat always mean KYC applied
Brokers are different. Some do and some don't.
The difference is if you are a fiat currency sportsbook there is only two way of doing it, either you do it legally and try to open bank accounts and have accountants and lawyers and KYC as well which allows the sports book to be as legit as it gets or you open something like curacoa or whatever type place and run a shady fiat sportsbook which allows you to be more free but also creates a chance of scamming the customers.

When the sportsbooks are crypto they do not need to be based anywhere and they do not need to involve fiat to be legit, they are just crypto to crypto, you deposit btc and you withdraw btc without a need for a bank, if they want to put fiat into that it will create a whole type of problems for them. Hence why already existing fiat sportsbooks could add in crypto but the already existing crypto sportsbooks try NOT to add fiat.
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin price Expected end of this year on: February 02, 2019, 04:25:49 PM
$10k is not really that high to consider no matter where the bitcoin is. What people forget about bitcoin is that we were around 900 dollars during may, a bit over 1500 dollars during summer, around 3 thousand dollars on November and at 20 thousand dollars on December when bull happened. It means bitcoin went from being around 700 dollars at its lowest to 20 thousand dollars at its highest on 2017.

Now, it doesn't have to be the same and I am sure everyone agrees that we will not see 20 thousand dollars anytime soon. However, do not forget that its bitcoin, tomorrow the price could be 1500 dollars or 10 thousand dollars and both of them would be understandable, we will not be shocked by neither of them. There is no world where bitcoin moves to a direction thats a surprise for us. Hence 10 thousand dollars is possible, will it happen ? I don't know but can it happen ? Of course.
407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bakkt really an overrated event? on: February 02, 2019, 03:53:58 PM
I think it will be something that takes time. Of course it is a great thing but it is not something that will affect bitcoin directly and right away. It is just another way people hear about bitcoin and will invest or trade with it and so forth and it is a great long term investment to the benefit of bitcoin. Do not assume price will be like $20k in one month thanks to it, it won't but the underlying effort to get bitcoin to mainstream world will be one step further thanks to them.

If only the SEC accepted CBOE and also Nasdaq starts that bitcoin buying and selling option, they would all really help the bitcoin world to become much more professional and mainstream then the niche it is currently (even though its not as niche as it used to be). I guess we will have to wait and see.
408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 24 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: February 01, 2019, 07:13:28 PM
If you lose track of the money you are winning or losing that is also a bad sign for you.

You are gambling, which means you are risking money, I agree most of us came from countries that gambling was illegal and eventually found our place in gambling world thanks to primedice and initially we were bad gamblers and lost a bunch of money but after a while almost everyone realized that gambling is an entertainment thing and not a money making thing and if you are going to have fun from gambling then you need to keep track of the amount you gamble with.

If you have "too much" fun you could be in debt pretty soon. That is why I always deposit x amount of dollars just in case and do not go above that ever, hell I even withdrew the excess couple times when I won as well. Just keeping the track on the amount you play will make it even more fun since you won't lose too much.
409  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: February 01, 2019, 06:05:25 PM
The max bet could be broken even with a person who gets lucky hitting 90%+ win couple times in a row without losing. If you have 500 bitcoin bankroll and instead of giving 10 bitcoin max and just destroy the book by making it 500 max bet because you have that much, someone with 500 bitcoins can come in and play on 50% and win and make you lose all your money. Why would it have to be about big pockets and martingale, what are they going to do with martingale that just one huge bet can't do.

If you have a big deep pocket you can just win whenever you want with the max bet and if you lose try again and eventually on a 50% bet you will get it quite quickly. Hence it makes no sense to allow all of the house bankroll to be in danger. Martingale has never worked for anyone, never, if it did then everyone would have gone with martingale constantly and bankrupt all the casinos out there.
410  Economy / Gambling / Re: MavenBets doesn't process my withdraw since December, beware!! on: February 01, 2019, 05:33:59 PM
I still can't believe how hard it must be for someone to lose their hard earned money to a scam on something they were already willing to lose anyway. I mean if I gamble somewhere and than lose it that is one thing, its still sad but if I am doing it for fun and entertainment than its fine and I got something in return, maybe not money but at least some time well spent. However, when I lose that money with something like this its even more absurd to me.

If I wanted to trade bitcoin to ethereum and exchange scammed me and not gave me my money, that is a shady exchange and its rare and can be avoided, i am not there to lose my money, I am there to exchange my money to something else, however when I am gambling, more often than not I am going to lose that money to the casino anyway, why would a casino that I am willing to give my money to tries to take it away from me by force when they can just let me give them myself is beyond me.
411  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: February 01, 2019, 04:47:29 PM
One last warning prior to the Super Bowl. It's highly recommended to only have money in top books until some payouts after the Super Bowl. Some books may take the added money from Super Bowl bets as an opportunity to run with player's funds and close shop.
That is the worst financial decision anyone could really make. If you own a sportsbook and many people gamble on your website for the super bowl that means you are getting great customer numbers and wagered amounts. Even tough the odds are probably against the sportsbook on that game (its likely that the winner is getting less odds but still a loss) you will get that back from the customers who found out about your website during the search for superbowl betting.

Everyone could bet on big websites like nitrogen and so forth which means if they are not going with big ones and select your smaller website, do not run them away from you, find a way to keep them, offer people who bet on superbowl some promotions and bonuses for the next bets they will have, that way you can steer them away from big websites to yours, running away can give you one big win but keeping them there will give you big wins all the time.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins? on: January 31, 2019, 02:25:16 PM
Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks
Some of them but not all of them. For example, I highly believe that Nano will be resurrected. Basically there will be ICO's and dead altcoins that will come back to life and be something again and there will be ICO's and dead altcoins that will stay dead forever.

This bear market made sure some of the coins have no one left to defend it, there are coins that lost more than 90% of their value but their teams are still behind it and they still have supporters but unfortunately because of the horrible market conditions we are in there are coins who do not have a team behind it anymore because they quit the coin and of course public support disappeared and they are not even listed anywhere anymore. Hence, it will have a bit of both, it was a perfect cleansing opportunity and we took it.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you short cryptocurrencies? on: January 30, 2019, 08:23:59 PM
I have no idea how to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.
Everyone already talked about how you can open an account on bitmex and deposit money there and on margin trading select the short option and hope that bitcoin goes low. But nobody talks about how shorting crypto currencies is the root of all this bear market we are in.

Everybody felt like putting money into bitcoin was a hassle and to keep trying to get that 20 thousand dollar into 30 thousand dollars was a tough task whereas shorting bitcoin is much more easier because it requires no capital to just "sell" bitcoin since it would also give you money while at it instead of requiring money like buying and trying to keep it up. Hence, all whales focused on shorting which caused all of this bear market to begin with. Look at the bitmex historical data, they started on the short options around the same time of the bear market starting.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: January 30, 2019, 05:25:05 PM
Bitcoin doesn't move that much down. Right now it is about 3,500 dollars or around those numbers, that is something that has been around for a week or even longer now. We do not expect the price to change that frequently, the thing about bitcoin is that it doesn't move up or down that much, if you look at the number of times it moves its not that frequent.

However, when it moves it moves very quickly, so think of it like this, for a whole month it stays around the same price, than all of a sudden it goes up $25 and in a week it goes down 30% and than for another whole month it stays the same. It is not "every single day bitcoin moves 5%" or something like that. Right now it is a bit low and I would prefer it go above 4 thousand dollars and stay there for a long time instead of these prices but lets not overreact to it.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptos would only have value in a dystopian economy said JP Morgan on: January 30, 2019, 02:49:46 PM
"Value" and "Price" are different things. Bitcoin might have a price right now but it doesn't mean it has a "value", there are a billion things in life that doesn't have a "value" if you ask me.

Anything you pay for doesn't have a "value" that suggests the price you pay, even a meal at a very expensive restaurant has a 100$ price tag doesn't really worth that much, it costs maaaybe 20 bucks to make it but they add the brand to it, look at iphones, there are countries where iphone is sold x10 the minimum monthly salary, do you really think it worth a 10 month salary ? Not at all however people still buy it because of the brand.

Value is long gone in our life, there are no more "value" for anything, there is just price and bitcoin has a price that JP Morgan is scared of because the higher it gets the less people will care about them.
416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Affiliate Programs on: January 30, 2019, 09:22:11 AM
I can testify that casino affiliate programs are a big long term income. I have done this for a while now and have a bit of affiliates under my name in many different places and the only thing I can tell you that there are times people gamble and there are times they do not.

It is not all the same for everyone but always exists. For example one person who gambles could make you money but then they leave because they usually lose all their money but eventually they come back and play some more, then they leave again and they come back, sometimes they gamble for a long time (which I assume means they won more than they lost during that time) but they always leave for a while (which I assume they finally lost) and that is why the time is always different, it has nothing to do with peak all time high on bitcoin prices or low bitcoin prices, people always bet.
417  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BITDICE -2019 mBTC Christmas and New Year Celebrations [2+ BTC in Prizes] 🎲 on: January 30, 2019, 08:42:19 AM
So, the next promo could be 2009 - 2019 gambler challenge or something fun like that.
Hmm.. interesting since it's very popular on social media about those 10 years challenge ago challenge.

This is going to be fun if ever BitDice will adopt this kind of promo in the near future.
Do you have any idea when are they going to launch this promo?

I'll be interested in this too, hoping it will be announce soon.
Nobody said it WILL happen, its just a good idea and they potentially could implement something like that but its not 100%. Also, how would one do some potential promo like that, like 2009-2019 challenge but what ? This website didn't existed in 2009 so not like you can say "people who played those days can come in and have a little surprise" or something. So, how could we implement that 10 year Challenger fun stuff into a casino that didn't existed for the past 10 years ?

I think no crypto casino was alive 10 years ago, not even satoshidice, even bitcoin is barely over 10 years old. Bitdice (or any casino that wants to do 10 year challenge related promo) needs to find how it could be done.
418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | ETH & LTC Accepted! 👽 on: January 30, 2019, 07:22:23 AM
In this discussion lets not forget the difference between a faucet website and gambling faucet, faucet websites purpose is to give people money and meanwhile make money from advertisement, that way they are making 3 satoshi for each 1 satoshi they give you, if you click on news even better. Gambling faucets are different and the purpose is to give you a taste of the game.

However, one thing I noticed on both stake and the partner primedice is that their promotions are usually different from each other, like faucet numbers are different, rewards are different basically they have like totally different marketing from each other.

I understand they are definitely two different websites but I was thinking since they owned by same people the marketing would be same as well but they are definitely not. It is a good thing, stake is literally making a name for itself and getting bigger without getting help from using the name primedice, they could have just said "we are the casino version of primedice so we are good" and get customers but they made stake.com huge all in itself.

Yeah, I'm glad you noticed that. The team has worked hard to keep the experiences and communities separate instead of just cannibalizing the PD audience. Our goal is really just providing two unique experiences and with upcoming updates we hope to make that even more clear.
Yeah, it is definitely something I do admire as well. I am not so sure if it was a wise decision, in retrospect we can look back and see that stake literally made a name for itself without really using the name primedice, which we both agree that is amazing. However what if it failed ?

I mean there was no guarantee that stake could have been this amazing website that does its own marketing without channeling the primedice name everywhere and maybe that might not have worked ? You guys took a huge risk and made it out alive, I really respect that about the marketing team and really applaud the way they did their work but nobody can deny that it was a huge risk to even try it.

If you only plastered the name PD everywhere and say HERE IS CASINO VERSION OF PD , you would probably get cheaper and faster marketing, why go with a route that is harder and riskier when there was cheaper and easier option available ? That is some entrepreneur swag and success right there and congratulations for every single person involved making stake get heard.
419  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: January 29, 2019, 05:16:53 PM
Exactly, there will be days when you lose 10 times in a row and lose all your money, there is no way of making constant profits with martingale. In the end no matter how lucky you are you will lose all of your bankroll to it. If you want a proper way of making money use the reward system.

Get the freerolls as much as you can, if you can do it 15+ times a day whenever you are awake, than get the rewards points, if you can use the reward points to get higher rewards points, than use your rewards points for higher free faucet and than you can do another 15+ free faucet until the reward is up and redo everyday. That way you can make a decent income, on my early days I did it that way and it helped me immensely. Now I try to tell that to my refereed people so they can make more while I do nothing Cheesy.
420  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: January 29, 2019, 04:45:35 PM
That is even scarier. I mean think about it getting scammed is something common in bitcointalk, yeah its horrible but honestly at this point I am not shocked when someone is scammed in crypto world. However, threatening someone with police and so forth as a casino literally means they signed their own death penalty. Who would play on cloudbet from now on? If they didn't even return your money, we would say they were doing some reviews and all that, even if they just froze the account temporarily while checking your documents that would be fine.

Also, if they paid you your money but blocked your account afterwards basically saying "you played here long enough and here is your money but don't comeback because of jurisdiction problems" that would have been fine as well. However keeping your money and than telling you not to make a scene or they will call the cops on you literally means "we do not want to be a casino anymore please let everyone know we are scamming people".
