Big fucking coup d´état today in Venezuela: http://reason.com/blog/2017/03/31/venezuela-socialist-controlled-supreme-cLast sentence of the article: For Venezuelans, liberation from socialism won't come from the U.S. or the OAS or any foreign actor. Instead it will come from within, with the help of the kind of decentralized technology that is challenging state power around the world, like Bitcoin.bullish? Very nice to see Bitcoin doing well, despite the cretins in charge trying to keep it crippled and expensive ... Keep up the good work gentlemen!

No that's not going to happen it's not dash that people will actually dump it. Eth has proved that it has way more potential to be the next bitcoin or atleast be the best when compared with other altcoins. Plus it actually has features which can use it in their daily life.
I am more inclined to believe on your statement. Eth has indeed to have proven its worth and maybe it can stand on its own away from Bitcoin. However, our sentiment may not be the sentiments enjoyed by many small and big traders so it is hard to predict what can happen in the following days. Personally, I have a small hoard of Eth and I would like its value to go upwards regardless whether we are served fork or no fork by the Bitcoin miners. Proven? It will be infinitely diluted. It's Turing complete so it will be attacked and exploited continuously. It's the coin people with either no technical know-how or no idea how economics work, invest in. so why does the price rise so much? People are giving baseless comments without knowing anything, they think that either they know too much or the info they give has something which could effect the markets by driving the minds of others towards the side they want. I see no reasons for ETH to fall, but all I see is a stable period as currently, everyone is interested in watching the BCU/BTC games. Eth is overbought.... There maybe a pullback to 32 if there is any positive news from either camp in the btc segment

The good news is, take this as a buying opportunity When or if Bitcoin forks, you will have equal coins on both chains and get the best of both worlds..... Providing both don't plummet and never recover chance of both versions of btc ending up at zero is nil i would say ...... Bitcoin Unlimited will win once they implement LN for micro txs etc nobody needs a 1mb dysfunctional bitcoin that barely works and when it does ,takes days I see you've bought into the Blockstream FUD I see you have a wealth of no idea and should probably get off the interweb lolz

There are no needs for going through all the troubles to store bitcoins in hardware wallets and paper wallets, all you need to do is to create a txt document generate 10 bitcoin addresses and paste each one with private key next to it in the txt file and then send 10 bitcoins to each address. Finally make 3 copies and upload one to cloud storage, print one as a PDF (paper wallet) and save the last one in your hard drive just make sure to put the 2 online versions in a zip file with password. If you think there is any convenient way then follow that way. I made a physical wallet using an NFC chip which holds the Private Keys, it works great. Not sure about the read lifetime though, but since I never read it I think it would be good.
NFC chips are vulnerable to electric shocks(EMP) and remote theft(hijacking). That is another way, but I'm not too sure that I will like the idea of my addresses and private keys in a cloud storage since; I always had the impression they are not very safe, besides you can be sure that even if you delete your files they are going to keep a copy of whatever you store it there, so even if the zip file is secured with a password I will not feel safe enough. Encrypted with aes 256 should be enough to store in any cloud without worry, it's still military grade encryption standard in today's world and the best way to avoid being hacked is not to become a target in the first place.... #1 DON'T TELL ANYONE YOU OWN 100'S OF BITCOINS

Many People say a trump administration will approve anything that makes sense for the bottom Line, and that would even include being first to offer a bitcoin etf before china or Japan starts one... I think we may get a nice surprise gentlemen!

I am just wondering if the $2000 mark is realistic for the next years... what is you opinion?
It won't hurt to believe if bitcoin will reach $2k, In my own opinion it will be a struggle or advantage for bitcoin to reach $2k, Advantage: Higher price means more eyes will be watching, means more publicity and can result in reaching the mainstream etc.. Struggle: Higher price means more online wallet will be hacked more scams will be performed more illegal transaction involving bitcoin etc.., but us users/dev bitcoin reaching $2k is an achievement and I myself will be more happy if this happens. Not only this... I think it could also be the price point where the majority of people say "Enough is enough" and sell, resulting in a huge dump and panic. It doesn't work like that, lots of people who see it go over 1k will decide to invest Even more people who see it go to 10k will invest Market is so young, needs time to mature...

We have the same feeling op on which this price increase has equivalent on price decrease anytime soon we are just on the situation which people are accumulating enough bitcoin and when we hit the price of $1k or even more possibility of going back is there thats why im holding still my bitcoin when price actions to dump then sell oof to secure profits then buyback to its lowest price again.
That's the most surefire way to reduce your bitcoin stack I've seen so far apart from online gambling....

They're are already a few funds who are in bitcoin and others who are trying to acquire large amounts of it Obviously these numbers will go through the roof when all the etf's and financial products launch on Wall Street, Nasdaq, bats etc https://youtu.be/G6iIhooV8UY

Thats what i was saying in another thread. This is the right moment to take the alts train, cause even if BTC goes up or down you will win money. Im all in at ETC, ETH, DOGE, and XMR.
Actually that is inaccurate If btc doubles or triples in 2017 you will have lost money on all those shitcoins and unlikely to catch up such a lead.... Saying that, I hold some SDC because I like the project and feel it's very undervalued but obviously btc is safer than any shitcoins.... No matter how good you think they are....

I don't understand why hedge funds have so little (none?) exposure to bitcoin. What are the principal obstacles?
Most funds are managed by old people, old people are too stupid to understand bitcoin, so they stick to the more traditional options, just look at guys like warren buffet. All of those guys got millionaire funds and they still own 0 BTC. You could at least spell the man's name properly, and calling him a "M" illionaire is pretty hilarious too.... I guess if he was as smart as you, he could understand bitcoins

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to all of this and I need some opinions. I realize nobody can predict the future......hear all, trust nothing. If you guys had 1 bitcoin to invest in an alt coin. What would you choose and why?
I'm not afraid of risk.
I was reading about Byteball and it seems interesting. I'm not expert and most of this stuff is over my head.
keep that bitcoin if you can ,everything else will rip u off when btc jumps again you will be whats known as a "bagholder"

CoinCidental, triggered much? Read the thread name then. "rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ", how much Technical Analysis do you see ten or fifteen pages back? Not to mention quality, argumented out one. Ill wait. Anyway, this topic was started by Rpietila and he seems content with the way it, after intial inflow of educated members, slowly sunk under all the fluff, back-patting and garbage, so I guess, alles is gut. Keep walking folks. Nothing to be seen here. nobody is here to listen to drivel like you post so i guess ,alles is nein gutt,ya ? keep waiting ,but dont forget to assume the position ,yes ,he usual one ...on your knees ,head back with mouth wide open milkshake incoming ! il wait .....

Very simply depends on whether you bought it before or thinking about buying in now
Anyone who took the advice and bought in a few years ago will be well. In excess of 1m$ but the person who didn't believe it will have to buy in now and wait until btc triples again to reach 1+mm $
It will come only need a bit of patience, probably $2-3k by 2017 but that will only be reached by people who have some belief in btc... People told me I was crazy when I bought loads at $3 but I believed in btc and they didn't.....
Dont need to remind anyone what happened since them days until now....

What the hell does all this religious nonsense you guys are babbling about have to do with Bitcoin TA? There must be many forums for fairy tales and bible studies.
You can go and see an actual quality technical analysis in this thread right after OP. Last six months? Not so much. Rather it all devolved into sectarian church meeting like you say. Would be so nice Rpietila actually took time and cleaned it up. Used to have fun coming here, learning something new. By the way, OP was right on his macroprojections even though time frame was off. Both bitcoin and that "super-anynomous" altcoin made its holders decent enough cash last year. You always have the option to ignore posts about the religious or supernatural worlds The coins that you mention are btc and xmr I imagine but you should have made healthy profits from those without this or any other threads.... Cryptocurrency has yet to make someone rich via Bibles or holy books AFAIK....
