421  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 07, 2023, 08:05:50 PM
<snip>
0.618 Fibonacci is not always correct; just because you see it in the market numerous times and the price bounces back when it hits that level doesn't mean it works 100% of the time. The golden zone between 0.5 and 0.618 Fib is where price normally pulls back, however trading or predicting with fib alone is hard. SnR, in my opinion, is considerably superior to Fib since without Fib, you may trade with only SnR. To boost the probability of my trade, I employ Fib as confluence.

According to my observations on the chart, the price bounced when it reached SnR levels near the 0.618 fib. In the 2023 chart, the price may reach $45k to $50k before dropping because the market may obey the SnR, Fib, Supply, and FVG, or may also sweep a liquidity on that swing point before the price drops.

Hmm, Price speculations cant be trusted every time with the indicators and supporting historical momentum, especially when we are talking about the situations now, where the market seems more dominated by the Sentiments and the unclear and surprising developments are highly expected.

In such cases, we can just modify our positions from time to time or just let the scenario come up with some clearity.

And after this, it seems that the TA has been invalidated already? Their is some correction that we have been seeing in the last 24 hours and instead of the price shooting up to $45k++ it slide more on the $43k'ish.

And probably $45k is the selling point, or at least high's of $44,930 and so obviously we didn't reach $48k++ yet.

Not saying that TA shouldn't be trusted, but most of the time the market can and will move on the different direction, thus invalidating some of our indicators. It's true, currently market is dominated by sentiments and the news that we hear and read.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 07, 2023, 10:58:32 AM
^^ Perhaps it was due to Usyk as a natural cruiserweight in my opinion that why he thought that he has that speed against those heavyweights. He shown it twice already against Anthony Joshua as he was able to slip that left hand of his many times because he is quick.

However, if he has the speed then Fury has the height and reach advantage and he knows how to use it. So maybe Usyk can throw some and hit Fury but what if Tyson timing everything and put a good counter and caught Usyk several times in this fight. It could be a factor later in the rounds, championship rounds that can make the difference in this fight if it goes 12 rounds.

Yes, Usyk is just a blown-up cruiserweight. If not for his superb skills and high IQ he could not hang with these heavyweights since he is giving up 10 to 40 pounds of weight.

Correct, and just have that movement and high IQ that's why he was able to beat these heavyweights. He make them fight his own fight and style.

Although their is supposedly what they call a Bridgerweight, a weight class between between 200 pounds (91 kg; 14 st 4 lb) and 224 pounds (102 kg; 16 st 0 lb), the division. However it didn't get any traction and we even don't know if they have a champion.

If Tyson Fury enters the ring with the same weight as his Ngannou fight, he will be around 60 pounds heavier than Usyk. But I guess Fury will be dropping down weight to make him a little lighter since he is facing a speedy technical fighter. I expect Fury to be around 260 and I won't be surprised if he drops as low as 255.

I think Fury will be the aggressor and he won't wait to counter Usyk. Usyk will be too fast so Fury needs to put some pressure. Both fighters can counter each other, Fury with his timing while Usyk with his speed.

The referee will play a very important role here. If the referee allows constant clinches and dirty inside fighting then Usyk will have serious problems dealing with the huge weight disadvantage.

For sure he will have to lose some pounds against Usyk here, he can't be overweight and then have problems with Usyk movement. Maybe just enough to be bigger than Usyk and make sure he will lean and wrap Usyk with his full weight on him. A tactic he uses against Wilder and it's very effective.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 07, 2023, 10:02:41 AM
I wouldn't say that it's normal though, but there are chemicals being released in our body when we win and that's why we feel good and in the mood for everyone. Same with when we lost, chemicals in our body that feels us irritated to everyone around us.

And this is very dangerous and not healthy feeling specially if you are mad at your kids because of you losing money in gambling.

Obviously losing money alters our brain neuro responses and we feel stressed and we just get out it through others, like the people in our environment.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: December 07, 2023, 08:45:33 AM
I'm just wondering how crypto casinos are able to cope with this high Tx fees.. cus definitely, they'll have a decreased transaction rate.. anyways, I understand the fact that they've got so many ways to cover up whatsoever.. maybe digital sales? Etc.. that'd also equat atleast 11/3 of the usual influx.

do people still gamble with these high tx fees? Is the current congestion in the mempool a motivation to some set of gamblers? that they might likely get fortunate since alot of gamblers won't wanna evade the high fees??

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

There are alternative coins that we can used though besides Bitcoin, but there could still be a lot of gamblers who continue with BTC no matter what. Some casinos doesn't charge fees for withdrawal, so this casinos should have enjoyed right now as gamblers might have to flock them to take advantage of their program.

But you can't blame gamblers today who uses cheap alterative or even USDT to deposit and withdraw just to continue with their gambling habits I doubt that they will simply stop just because fees are high not just for bitcoin but for any other crypto as well.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the only currency that has grown the most!! on: December 06, 2023, 08:41:48 PM
Present, there are many altcoins in the crypto market and they have grown a lot. But it has gone down and gone again, but Bitcoin is the only currency that hasn't gone down yet, instead it's going up. I've noticed that Bitcoin has grown the most over the past couple of days, but altcoins haven't grown as much in comparison. Currently, we see Bitcoin market above $44000, I think it will bring $45000 very soon. Will Bitcoin Touch $50,000 By This December?  What do you think about the way the Bitcoin market is currently growing?

Of course, it's the first crypto currency, and so everyone is attached to it, then it become an enigma because as I have said, the prime mover, and then it's creator suddenly went underground and no one heard from him since his disappearance which added the mystery to his creation.

And then as we go on the journey, people find ways to trade it and then we have a reach history about exchanges, from Mt. Gox to the current one. And then the first purchase of Pizza, crypto gambling and others.

As for the price, yeah, why not? $50k is just around the corner this year. The market is very positive up to this point because of so many good news like approval of Bitcoin Spot ETF and then the block halving next year.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 06, 2023, 08:28:27 PM

This is exciting, actually, as we will be seeing how Zion would play in a situation like this. It's not the playoffs yet but it's similar to the playoffs, like a Game 7 because it's a single-elimination game. It's the experienced Lakers versus the talented Pelicans. Now, I think it's hard to choose, but if we base it on how they won in the quarter-finals, I think the Pelicans should be the right choice.

It’s easy Lakers all day long since Lebron is very good on tournament like this since he has a lot of experience which means he has a better performance on crucial games like this. I doubt that raw power of Zion can beat an A full power Lakers since they are not Nuggets that has a lot combination due to Jokic play making.

I think Bucks is the only team that has a best shot to beat Lakers on this tournament since they have Giannis with experience on crucial matches. Zion is still lack of experience and not that flexible compared to the other dominant players.
I'm betting on Lakers on this In-season tournament, but seeing Bron missing his free throws making me think to get a handicap. Some crucial free throws are being missed by Bron, which is normal for most of players but on tournament like this and ofcourse he's considered the GOAT, I hate seeing him missing uncontested shots. Pelicans might played this very closely to Lakers, I like their stats from previous games, they are on momentum as well.

Not the first time that we have seen Lebron choking and missing his free throws though, that's why the discussion about GOAT? he can't be compare to Jordan because of that one crucial are of his. But in this case, it's a team effort here, and then need to be consistent as they are used to do catching up on teams, letting them build a good lead against them and what they do is to catch them in the next 2 quarters.

But it will be very hard for them if they allow Zion and the rest to do that against them, then it will be a hard fought game. Looking at the current odds, the Lakers is the slight favorite to win.
427  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 06, 2023, 07:08:18 AM
why alot of ppl have issues with KYC ?  i dont have any issue with that

It's because it is the very tenant of crypto specially in the beginning, we just need addresses before, specially for withdrawal. After that it's smooth sailing, no need to give your personal information in the early days of online crypto, regardless of what amount you won or trying to withdrawal.

But when bitcoin or crypto grow in the last 5 years or so, regulators pushes every services to to follow AML/KYC policy, hence we are now required to send those information in a casino and obviously, majority doesn't want to because we still wanted to be private and anonymous.

I'll just let the community decide in this case, both have reputations here though but everyone has it's own thoughts on this case.

429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling FOMO like I am? on: December 05, 2023, 11:02:07 PM
I guess for long term investors or at least have safe enough already, it's not FOMO but a feeling of excitement to see this kind of price and of course your wallet feeling fatten by the huge surge in the last 24 hours.

But we are still very far though, I think FOMO will be around $100k?

And that's how it is though, when the price really going into the moon, people suddenly goes and put their hard earn money into bitcoin. But if you have to think, they should have invested when the price is very low.

And we will see more meme's in the coming days for those who will FOMO.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Bar in Sofia, Bulgaria looks Interesting on: December 03, 2023, 08:38:31 PM
Do we have forum users from sofia, Bulgaria here with us on the forum? Check this bar out.
And to the general forum users, isn't this a good business idea?

I'm not from Bulgaria, but definitely, this kind of business is good for Bitcoin. Maybe they can held monthly or even weekly meeting there and talk about what else their favorite subject, BTC.

And they you have the chance to meet different people, know them by faces as we all know that maybe some of their chooses to remain anonymous.

Although it might be a haven for some cyber criminals to target Bitcoin enthusiast and committed what we call a 5 dollar wrench attack. So everyone should be very very careful as the statistics are growing with that kind of crimes, just saying.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 03, 2023, 08:17:55 PM
We all know the recent issue about the mixer status here in the forum. Crypto casino is also being use for money laundering by some criminals that’s why every casino has AML policy.

I’m just curious what will be the fate of crypto casino once money laundering activity from mixer will jump to casino now that mixer will not be advertised here which means it has less exposure. Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?

I don't think that the criminals will simply jump on reputable casinos to mixed or laundered their money there. Crypto based casinos as you have said, has AML and they have their own anti-fraudulent group if I'm not mistaken.

And chances are, if they see one then they will have to confiscate it, ASAP resulting to a lost to those criminals as well. And other like wagering requirements have been set up by casino themselves so that they won't be taken advantage by this criminals.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will another ETF be immediately bullish for Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2023, 09:09:59 PM
I think the outcome of these things are not really all that certain, and we should be careful when we are making decisions like this. I mean it's quite clear that ETF is something that government really takes a look at very clearly and closely, which means that it is going to be hard to get it accepted. I know that it may not be all that easy to handle, but it is going to be possible eventually. So, we should be clear on what we are assuming that will happen, if we keep on having too much hype about this then when it gets postponed like it always does, then we would be upset.

It's obvious though, we don't have the control and the power as to when the ETF will be approved by the SEC and for sure, we don't look at it this year. Nevertheless, based on the news that we heard and the entities involved, who knows, the likelihood though might be high as SEC can't delay or not approve it in the future.

Market learned about this the hard way, it has stopped caring about getting approved or not, because they realized without getting a concrete response, there is no need to buy or sell. Nowadays, we ignore it completely, and wait for it to get a response and if it any of them gets accepted then I bet the price will go up a lot but before that I do not think that we will react anyway.

With that, let the market flows normally, we have seen this already, and I think we have seen worst like in the bear market. But at the end of the day, the market is very resilient to attacks and negative news, so what's more with a positive outlook in a Bitcoin Spot ETF approval? Everything is good now. And lest we forget, there will be the block halving scheduled for next year.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 02, 2023, 08:55:29 PM
Meanwhile, Devin Haney planned on vacating all his 135 belts after his fight with Prograis. The young kid shared his plan of making his own legacy while he was still young. He wants to become a 3-division champion.

So if he beats Prograis, he may stay short unless there are big money fights to make. Otherwise, a move to 147 is expected. I'm curious though, what if he loses to Prograis? He's having a hard time making 135 but he can make bigger money with his 3 belts rather than build his resume at 140 for another title fight opportunity. And maybe Tank Davis gains confidence and is willing to fight Haney if he loses to Prograis.

I was really surprised to hear from him that he is vacating all the remaining belts he had at 135 lbs, so now he is a true 140 lbs and there is no going back. So yeah, if he wins here, for sure the plan will be is to become undisputed here.

But it will be a tough road for Haney, I mean he has to go to Teo Lopez first, as we all know the lineal champion. And then we have a new superstar, or at least he has cemented his claim at the belt that he has defended, Matias. A tough IBF 140 lbs champion and it will be great to see Haney or even Teo Lopez fight this guy.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: December 02, 2023, 08:34:31 PM
Oscar said it would end in a KO, whoever it will be we yet have to see https://twitter.com/DAZNBoxing/status/1730664888219861265
Ryan in Spence training camp I think will make him better though so I think he can make it.

Ryan after the loss against Tank somehow woke up and learned GB doesn't care about their star but just cash grab out of them. But now he is also on crazier ground, his promotion disrespects him despite him being the only popular fighter in GB.
Ryan have to bounce back here and make his name known again in the field of boxing, his first loss was a huge shock to many but that’s ok as long as he rise and bounce back again, I’m sure he can have a good promotions again. Few more hours and we will witness this two great boxer fighting for the belt, I’m rooting for Garcia here and he should be more confident this time and be more wise in throwing punches because Duarte is not an easy opponent for sure.

I wouldn't say that it's a huge shock to many, Ryan was the underdog that time, what's shock us is the manner on how he lost that time. His offense was not there, and there is nothing that he can do against Tank Davis. But later on we heard that the was a rehydration clause and it looks like Ryan wasn't able to rehydrate obviously.

But this time with no weight issues, he even goes above the 140 lbs here. So we shouldn't here any excuse after the fight if ever he lost that he was weight drain. Of course, I think majority of us here will be rooting for him. Maybe we are fans or just wanted to see this kid grow and become a world champion. So if he wins here, we wanted him to see against Teo Lopez or Haney.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 02, 2023, 01:38:07 PM
They already made a mistake for having Westbrook since they don't have chemistry with their team so its good if Lakers would focus to create good chemistry and confidence with their current roster.

That was the biggest decision that didn't went out well, they were suppose to make a big 3 but one has became a burden, good thing they let him go after 2 season I believe, so both teams in LA are happy now. The lakers are still revolving without Lebron, and old superstar that will continue to make history, but in terms of ranking as a championship team, that I don't know if they are even at the top 3 now.

With the present status of the Lakers, I don't expect them to even reach the same success last season, but I still have some hope since the playoffs is a different atmosphere, and you know, experience gives good advantage and Lebron and AD had that.

I don't think that they are a top 3 team in the West, they are inconsistent that there are games that they look championship caliber and then the next game, they can't even score and we can see Lebron's frustration as if he wanted to be traded on other teams or doesn't want to play with Lakers.

However, there could be some good news that Vando and Rui will be back in the roster. They've missed both fo this 2, specially Vando's defense and then Rui has a great time playing for the Lakers.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 01, 2023, 09:11:16 PM
I still think that December is going to be very positive, and if I'm not mistaken, December is always healthy for us. Or at least there will be a jump specially a week before the Christmas holiday, maybe a good increase and then follow by a small dump, in which we could only reason that people are selling to take profits for this season.

Same with New Year, increased then follow by some selling. Nevertheless, overall I feel that we will end the year with at least above $40k levels. This is round number and it's better to break that kind of price because for me it's a mental barrier. But once we broke it, we could be sailing to $45k.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: December 01, 2023, 08:50:02 PM
So still everything is in the hands of Canelo right now and it looks like he is not going to make his decision any time soon. Most likely he will go on and enjoy the holidays with his family and maybe January will be the time frame to see which fighters will he chooses to fight.

Canelo is done for this year, he'd made two successful fights this year and won via UD. He deserves a break and to enjoy with his family, but certainly he'll come back next year with a new fight, hopefully against someone who could really match him, like the fans will be puzzled a bit on who will win. I know against Benavidez the fans would stil favor Canelo, but at least they'll not think it's going ot be a one sided fight.

On the case about Canelo not fighting a fellow mexican, I think money can change this mind, so let's just watch out for that PATIENTLY.  Grin

But most likely he will take his vacation to really think who he will really wanted to face next to defend his belt. If Benavidez is the interim champion WBC champion, then as the regular champion Canelo should honor and fight David.

And yes, I don't know what Canelo says that he doesn't want to fight a fellow Mexican when we all know that there are few Mexican  that we know of that campaigns in his division or even none for that matter, this is just a excuse on his part.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 01, 2023, 04:55:29 PM
OKC is back in the winning column after back to back 2 close defeats against the other top teams earlier. I thought Lebron and AD would teach young OKC some veteran plays. But OKC exploded in the second quarter with a huge rally.  I like this young team, they are pretty sure tough to beat, especially in the coming seasons.

I thought that the Lakers will come strong in this game. But the OKC Thunder took the game from them. After a great performance, D'Lo just got 16 points in this game. So OKC is for real this season. And Chet still making a statement for the rookie of the year.

Meanwhile, San Antonio failed to stop the visiting Hawks. Trae Young erupted especially in the 4th quarter. So Spurs are now on a 13-game losing streak. And it seems like the bleeding won't stop very soon since their next games they will travel to New Orleans and Minnesota.

I think it is to be expected that the Hawks are going to win, it's just a matter on what will be the handicap. And for those who bet on the Spurs on the + side, they will obviously win, but still at the end reason, they are on the losing streak and we don't know when it's going to end.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 01, 2023, 01:35:38 PM
It’s great to see, we were at $16,000 for quite a few months if I remember correctly, only last year. Bitcoin continues to show how strong & what a great asset it is cycle after cycle. At this point I think you’re generally a moron if you don’t own any Bitcoin. Let’s see how 2024 goes, I predict it’s going to be a very bullish year.

Right, lowest low for this cycle is around $15,500, when the news about the FTX collapse, and with that we are like 120%++ growth already and it's continuing as of this year as we still have one full month before the end of the year. And there are predictions that we will hit at least $45k, but remains to be seen.

But I think the title is somewhat misleading, maybe the better term is the highest for this year.

As usually all time high is reserved during the bull run wherein we reach a new milestone price as compare to the previous bull run of $69k.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 01, 2023, 01:17:27 PM
^^ Right, who wouldn't like to see a underdog, specially a Filipino beat the Japanese monster. Before we say that it could be Casimero as he almost got the chance to show us if he can or can't. But now, it's another Filipino, in Marlon Tapales that we will see if he has what it takes to pull that upset.

This is great for Tapales since almost everyone including most of his countrymen doesn't believe in him, he could just use this as fuel to be motivated and have high aspirations to beat Inoue because this is a great madness because I haven't even witnessed such kinds of humiliations where even Filipinos are laughing at him just by picking the fight with Inoue. He should come up with a working plan to beat the monster and it would be the greatest upset of all time in boxing history if ever that happened.

Yes, there are boxers that are good at it, to be motivated because no one believed in them. I do understand why some Filipinos are against him, yeah, read the some comments on some social media, in youtube as well. Saying that they love Tapales as their countrymen but they are going to bet on Inoue.

So if Tapales has the proper mentality here, he used not be discourage but used this to fuel the fire in himself, at least manifest that he can beat Inoue and he should play this in his mind. There was also interview of Conor about this kind of out of box training. In any case, there should be no pressure for Tapales, just do his best and just believed that he will beat Inoue.
