1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos and Tech Devices on: February 23, 2023, 01:08:36 PM
Playing casino games is enjoyable on mobile devices, but in my opinion, I prefer desktop computers because they offer superior graphics, greater convenience. For example, I usually like to sit at the desk while I play online casino games. It is the comfiest posture where I am at rest. I addition, when I play using my desktop computer,
I do not have to put a lot of strain on my eyesight when compared to using a mobile device. I will always pick a laptop or desktop over any mobile device when it comes to online casinos.

Not sure how your eyes are going to be strained though playing on mobile devices, I don't see any difference. But if you are talking about not the graphics but the experience and the UI instead then it's not even comparable. I too prefer playing on my desktop computers, because it is also convenience for me. And I think since desktop has more storage space, it could be an advantage too for us, for a better gaming experience.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: February 23, 2023, 12:09:22 PM
Lomachenko is very good and even looked invincible but that was during his prime. He is now in his mid 30s and physically he won't be the same anymore. If he wins over Haney, it means even his old version is still good enough to win just like what old Pacman, Donaire, GGG and Beterbiev are doing.

I'm amazed as to how Top Rank inspite Bob Arum getting old and not the same promoter as before and the recent lost of Crawford, it continues to have the best fighters. Shakur Stevenson with or without Loma and Haney will surely get his title fight this year. I believe Haney is moving up if he wins.

Yeah, and Bob says that he Shakur is scheduled to fight the winner of this fight. Bob still attracts good boxers though, and those that don't want the control of Al Haymon and Oscar Dela Hoya. But there are boxers that also wanted to separate from him like Crawford, and like the more touted Edgar Berlanga

https://www.badlefthook.com/2023/1/18/23561168/edgar-berlanga-top-rank-part-ways-promotional-free-agent-boxing-news-2023

So let's see who's going to win in this fight because he still has his hands full in his next fight against Shakur.

Personally, I like Eddie Hearn, he is the best since he is willing to risk his own fighters just for the sake of making the big fights and he's got DAZN also which has the deepest pocket. What is good about Bob Arum is his smarts and experience, he seems to be the most successful when it comes to making prospects into superstars. And Bob Arum acknowledges skills which is why he was able to guide and promote the very best like De La Hoya, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Crawford, and now Fury, Inoue, Taylor, Shakur, Loma, Haney, and many more.

Berlanga's contract with Top Rank ended and well, Matchroom is probably the richest promoter nowadays. Still, I believe Berlanga is a bust. He is a hype and won't become a champion which is most likely the reason why Top Rank is not willing to match Matchroom's offer.

Anyways, I wonder what the future of Haney and Shakur brings. They are very talented but their lack of power might limit the divisions they can conquer just like Loma accepted that lightweight is his last division.

Same here mate, I think Top Rank knows that Berlanga is a bust and that's why Arum parted ways with this kid. Although he has been hype early, but in the last 2-3 fights, he doesn't look good at what it is expected of him.

But if he targeting Canelo for a bigger payday then yeah, Match Room will be the best fit for him.

I wouldn't call them richest promotion, they just have been in the US circuits for the the last 5 years if I'm not mistaken. And even there were predictions that he will not do good in the US soil, but so far he is doing a good job.
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: February 23, 2023, 11:34:32 AM
Well internet makes everyone closer to each other and as it humanity evolved, you network and market yourself. And now every business is going online and I think there's nothing wrong with that, but instead embrace it.

So yes, social media is two way street now, pre-Facebook, Friendster was the one of the first to be used as a social media platform but Facebook comes and kill the competition and then it grows in the last 20 years that it evolved to where we are right now, not just Facebook but all social media platform as means to business ourselves to others.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 22, 2023, 09:20:26 PM
I don't know what you mean by another level though, Thurman will be the underdog here because of his recent performance plus he will be fighting a prime Spence who is just beating everyone at 147 lbs.

Experience wise it will be Thurman as he has been longer in the game, however, he had a long lay off before, then losing to Manny.

So if there will be prediction here by the majority, I think they will go with Spence.

I believe the outcome of Thurman's last fight has no connection to why he is the underdog here. Even if he won impressively, he would remain an underdog since Spence is currently in his prime, undefeated, and ranked in the top 3 of the pound-for-pound rankings, if I'm not mistaken. And the fact that this fight is a non-title fight, I guess Thurman does have a decent chance, as Spence might not bring the energy he usually brings to a fight.

We based boxers on their last fight, of course it has no connection because Thurman will be the favorite. However, it might affect the way odds maker listing their odds. If Thurman knock out Barrios in his last fight and make a statement win, then maybe the odds will be closer or who knows, maybe Spence are not going to pursue him because of the risk. But after what we have seen of Thurman, maybe he will be a huge underdog in this fight, and that is due to his poor performance on his last fight.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 22, 2023, 09:05:10 PM
It's Fulton's time now to break that momentum and protect his thrown. We will see who's going to stand tall after the fight.

Although he is the champion, it seems that we are hoping he will be able to survive against Inoue. The fight between Inoue and Donaire was quite different because Donaire was the challenger, while here, it's Inoue who is the challenger, but people view him as the champion.

There is a huge pressure on Foltun because the majority of the fans do not believe he can beat the Monster, but let's see what happens during the fight night

True. All the pressure is on Fulton's side because a monster is approaching towards him to get hold of his two belts and people are already predicting that he won't do nothing to protect it. While it is him who is the champion but it seems that he's more like a challenger because he is the one who will visit Inoue at his own country to protect his belt.

But the champion cannot do anything as it's undeniable that a bout in Japan is more profitable for both parties, so instead of the challenger visiting the champion, it's the opposite. I can't really hide that I'm already excited to see this fight soon.

Yes, but it seems that he is going to be ready, the reports says it's going to be in Japan, so he is also willing to travel there, so he has embrace that pressure and he going to thrived on it.

But then again, he will not be called a Monster for nothing, Fulton is no boogeyman, he has to face him face to face and it will be very difficult task at hand. Although it might also be a good paycheck and so he is willing to put everything in the line here and we expect a good and hard fight for both fighters.

Yup, the bout will happen inside Japan and their paycheck is already laid perfectly waiting to be claimed as this kind of bout will certainly attract a lot of attention to people not just in Japan alone but in other parts of the world as well, especially after the fact that both boxers also have their own fan bases, large fan bases that supports them. This will be good folks, I bet it will!

Have we heard official announcement about this fight or it is under the negotiation table as the Japanese counterpart is doing the negotiations with PBC and Al Haymon?

So if this is still happening in the background so no paycheck is already laid yet, at least until they have announced the date and the venue of the fight, most likely it will be the old and historical Saitama stadium in Japan. But we wanted to see the exact date.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 22, 2023, 08:49:15 PM
Him for a bench player? That doesn't sound right at all hehe. I'm now curious about the contract they had which may justify signing a player to start from the bench. I've read that Pat had to choose between the Warriors and the Bulls. He chose the latter because he thought he could push for a playoff run. I don't know but that's kind of an aggressive statement. A guy like that wouldn't be satisfied

I doubt it will be long term.
They may just be operating an experiment here by acquiring PatBev. Just to let them know if they lack the defensive method or not.
It's possible thag theh both lack in both ends of the floor but had not realized it yet.
The combination of Zach Lavine and Demar Derozan doesnt work. Its all just a big fat lie and a trend when they went hot on the first 10 games.
Now, they need to win every game and I doubt it can be done even with PatBev around.

They had to get Patrick Beverly because Lonzo Ball appears that he might be out for a very, very long time.  Doctors around the country have been saying that his knee injury is like nothing they've ever seen before, according to today's reports.  This doesn't bode well for the Bulls, as Lonzo was a major piece of their defensive unit.  I assume this is why they brough in Patrick Beverly, who is mostly a defensive specialist.  He might be a downgrade to Lonzo, but he's the best thing they could find at the moment to try and address a major need.  I like this signing now that the Lonzo news is out, but I still think Chicago lacks what it takes to get beyond the first round of the playoffs, if they make it that far.

True, it won't help any, not that Pat is a bad player, but trying to replace Lonzo in the middle of the season with him is not a good choice in my opinion. Anyhow, Pat is a native Chicago so for sure he will be embrace by the fans and not expecting a big change for them for the better.

They are deep in the standings at 11th place and it will need a lot of effort from Lavine and DeRozan to move them. But I don't see them in the playoff for this season.
1307  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: February 22, 2023, 11:39:54 AM
Currently the price is around $24500, and I think we are still in a bear market, if we compare it to the ATH that has happened the price is $24500 around 38%, but the achievements in 2023 make us have to be optimistic that 2023 can be better than 2022, it is natural that many those who dare to speculate that this year can create new ATH again so we have to invest and hold until the price passes ATH in 2021.

Unfortunately there is a big retest in the last 24 hours, bitcoin is down 2-3%. And this still validates that we are still the bear market. And that this increased in price is just what it is, no push or momentum to $25k

I think though as we are getting closer to the halving, the market might improved a bit this year.

But the best is yet to come when we can really say bye bye bear market and that is after the block halving.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 20, 2023, 08:11:40 AM
That's what I want to see, but you know, Spence is a durable fighter, he even goes toe to toe against Porter, and seems like nothing happened to him. Well, maybe Thurman is better and has good power as he also beat Porter. I'm expecting to see a toe to toe fight as these fighters are both aggressive, so we might likely see a KO here.

The last time Thurman got a KO was almost 10 years ago, against Jesús Soto Karass. After that, it was a series of UD, SDs and MDs and the (in)famous loss against Manny Pacquiao. Errol Spence Jr. on the other hand, knocked the senses out of Yordenis Ugás in his last fight. More than 75% of his wins have been in KO. I don't know.. maybe there is a good chance that Spence will defeat Thurman by KO. And as expected, Spence starts as a heavy favorite. Odds are -800 for Errol Spence Jr. , and +490 for Keith Thurman.

I do agree, and as we can see Thurman has soften a lot in his last fight against Mario Barrios, we can even call it a mismatch because Barrios is a career 140 lbs fighter who just move up to the division and Thurman performance was not enough close to being a statement win.

While on the other hand Spence just destroyed Ugas who I thought could be a good fight for Spence and should be close. But Ugas fought Spence fight that's why he lost that way. And if Thurman is not 'intelligent' enough to fall for Spence fight, then Errol could score a big knockout down in the middle to late rounds. He is the heavy favorite here, maybe the line will move but not that much.

Well, the speculations are many and we all have hope that the fight will be of another level, on the other hand we can see that Thurman has had many who believe that he could surprise, and yes, it may be, some focus on the previous fights and some may say that Spence has more experience than him, this is something that can happen, here in boxing experience is very valuable, and a large number of things can be generated according to training, but all this takes away from what he can give a closer prediction, I'm still focusing on Spence winning the fight, I don't have much detail on Thurman.

1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 20, 2023, 07:57:21 AM
I wish it was going back to East vs. West and players wear their own teams jerseys. Team selections before the game was exciting though. We can say that's a good progress in this format.
First half was decent. Giannis only played for 20 seconds. LeBron's dunk was amazing. 3-pt contest champion Dame Dolla missed 7 in a row. Everybody scored except De'Aaron Fox. Kyrie and Tatum take the game more seriously. We'll see who wants to be MVP in second half though, I'm expecting LeBron to score more. We are watching an average All-Star game so far. I hope second half will be better.

Lebron did not play in the second half because of an injury. It is too bad since in the second half, his team needs his leadership. Team Giannis poured threes from everywhere. I think it was Dame who even made a half court three. Tatum does not seem to miss from the 3-point area. Team Giannis created a big lead in the 3rd quarter that made it hard for team Lebron to overcome in the 4th quarter.

Congratulations to Jayson Tatum for bagging the MVP award.

It's Dame time!!!!!.
Dame made the nail in the coffin that gave the Team Giannis the victory. Now the Lebron winning streak has ended.

It was a close one until the 3rd quarter where Mitchell, Dame and Tatum lead the way and poured some three point shots. Tatum scored 27 points in that quarter. The most number of points a player had in one quarter in NBA All-star game history. Tatum, Mitchell and Dame combined for 121 of the total 184 points by the whole team almost 2/3 of the points of the whole team came from only 3 players. That's just insane.

Anyway, both of the teams didn't play the whole game. I thought that Giannis can play even with his right hand injury, but he joined in the first 20 seconds and opted to go out and just watch. Lebron on the other hand, didn't play in the 2nd half because of an injury as well. Overall, a wonderful game to end the all-star week. Congratulations to Tatum who set a new record for most points of a player in NBA All-star history with 55 points.

With how the league is changing right now in terms of offense, I expect that this record will be broken year after year. I expect that somebody next year will break that record again.

That's what Tatum said when he was award the MVP trophy, records are meant to be broken, so he is expecting that his 55 points in this game will be broken in the next couple of years.

Fun to see him against Jaylen Brown for a shoot out. Giannis though, looks like the wrist is really injured and he just used the left hand to score the first basket and then he went out. The league is still on the break though, so many players can still recover before going back to Friday's game.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 19, 2023, 01:12:38 PM
For fans of Mark Magsayo, i know that you are eager to watch him rebound on his recent loss to Vargas but for me this is not an easy fight for him.
Figueroa and Magsayo are a perfect match because they have a similar boxing record, so yes it's not going to be easy for the latter to win on this fight.

There style is contrasting though, style makes fight as they say, volume puncher in Brandon, but Mark loves to have his power tested someone chin and see if he can knock him out.

But certainly Magsayo will do his best to redeem himself. He gained his first title but lost it 6 months later to Vargas thus it's expected now that he will prove himself again to deserve another title. I'm not really his fan but as a kababayan I wish him a goodluck for this upcoming fight.

He needs to, remember that when he got the belt against Russell, the later is injured and others says that he wouldn't have won that belt if not for that injuries. And so when he fought Vargas to defend his belt the first time, he lost, and it doesn't sit well. So he has to make a statement win here and proved that his win against Russell and having that belt is no fluke and he is for real and deserved that belt. So if ever he wins, he need to get it back from Vargas.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Core vs Ethereum on: February 19, 2023, 11:57:19 AM
Before the recent lunch of core it was speculated that its value would be half of that of Bitcoin which is potentially greater than Ethereum although cores value after lunch was very low compared to their speculation some mining sources say that its value will be greater than that of Ethereum of Which is not promising with the present market cap

I strongly believe that core was not much of a success because their mining duration was too long therefore causing excess supply of the coin during the mining period.

You mean that core is not much a success as compare to ETH now?

But looking at the price of ETH, it didn't even touch $2k, as others have speculators (or those influencers). So yeah, you shouldn't listen to then as obviously they have their own narrative from behind.

The thing is with ETH though is that it is still the second best coin, so with that it is still one of the best investment that you are going to make regardless of what you are going to hear.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 19, 2023, 10:42:13 AM
Mac McClung took home the dunk contest trophy and rightfully so. He also had the dunk of the night with a 720 which was absolutely ridiculous. That was easily the best dunk since Aaron Gordon’s under the legs over the mascot dunk. This year’s contest was a big step up from last year’s. Hopefully next year we get to see Zion Williamson do something special…
It's hard to believe it can be done, you need to defy gravity to do it. Damn, McClung really made an explosive feat there and all viewers became so lively. It was the right move to end the contest and there's no doubt he won it. I scored 51 for that.  Grin It's just too much and he certainly revived the dunk contest again.

I think we have seen a lot of youtube of individuals performing that kind of feat. But it hasn't been done in the NBA, it's all on other leagues dunk contest. But McClung bring the street dunk and saw everyone was amazed.

Tomorrow, All-Star Team Lebron vs Team Giannis.
How I wish we could also witness something that explosive. We had been used to the boring All-Star game and lesser viewers are watching it because they know it will just be like an entertainment game without hardcore defense. Mostly, just offensive exhibitions in the first to third quarters of the game.
I hope to see some competitive spirit.

I still prefer the old West vs East format. Anyways, like last year, players are having fun and forget all the battles they have, their logo shooting, Giannis dunk, Curry turn away shot and others. For sure this will be the same atmosphere for this year.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 19, 2023, 09:49:18 AM
I hope things will work out for Donaire and he shrugs off his loss against Inoue, it's hard to make a comeback coming from that devastating loss, this is a surprise replacement for Moloney there are circumstances that late replacement pulls out a surprise, like what happened to Pacquiao against Ledwaba.
I know Donaire still has it, I still see the speed and the offense against Inoue it's just the wrong strategy that backfired I'm sure his camp will not let this happen again, I just want to see Donaire going into retirement with a title he deserves it for what he has brought to the boxing community.

One thing that causes losses to Donaire is he has this attitude of being too confident that he will have a strong advantage over his opponent which happens to be his weakness. He sometimes underestimates his opponents without considering their strengths in the ring. I think that's something that he should change. He must know his opponent's strengths first and learn how to counter them or else he will end up losing again. I hope his previous losses would serve him a lesson and be better this time.
It is a psychology thing. It boosts someone's confidence and nothing is wrong with that instead of hesitating or thinking negatively. He won't be fighting at that age if not for that mindset. Of course, he knows his opponent's strength as watching previous matches is a common thing to do for his team. You know, losing is quite normal. You can't always have things you wanted even if you are fully prepared. Anyway, I'm also rooting for Donaire here.

And just to be pump up of Nonito's fight, I watch the highlights of him against the trash talking Wilfredo Vasquez Jr when then fought for the super bantamweight belt of Vasquez that time and he is confident that he can beat the Filipino Flash because he says he is too powerful for Nonito. But he went down from Donaire's hook and Nonito winning the belt. So yes, majority of us here are going to root for Donaire to make another history. If I'm not mistaken, this will be his third overall reign as bantamweight champion.
1314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: February 18, 2023, 06:17:32 PM
Although it is very unlikely but with bitcoin, anything is possible, if you believe in bitcoin then you have every right to expect it. If bitcoin can do that miracle, we win, but if not, we have nothing to lose, as long as we don't sell our bitcoins, we have nothing to lose. I don't have high expectations but I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin surprises.
Anything is always possible for Bitcoin this year, but to hope that much ($80K) is a huge thing for Bitcoin to achieve this year and I don't think Bitcoin will have enough in this year for a price of this That. Although I also wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin was able to do so well, and after all it's something that everyone hopes for this year. But I just think more rationally and realistically about this, because expecting things that are too big must also be balanced with the right amount of time.
The price prediction of $ 80k is not high speculation because bitcoin has reached a high of more than $ 60k, but regarding predictions for when that will happen no one can be sure for this year, but I believe the highest recovery price in this year because until January there has been a recovery of only $ 10k in 2 months, so expect this time of year no price falls.

Yes, looking at the most recent ATH, the $80k price isn't too high to hit, but very unlikely this year if we look at bitcoin's history. But if bitcoin falls back is not necessarily a bad thing, I expect bitcoin to rise, but I also have a plan if bitcoin falls again. It's a chance to shop bitcoin cheaply again.

Yes, it's very unlikely this year, I mean hitting $80k is a new all time high for us, and it usually happen during bull runs. And with that, we are expecting it to happen right after the bitcoin halving.

So as much as $80k is very high, we should ought to know that it is not doable for this year.

Nevertheless, it's been a good 2 months for far, from lowest low of $15,500 to now $25k. Good enough for a recovery indeed.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: February 18, 2023, 05:47:13 PM

Not sure though how you see Haney as a offensive boxer, no offense, but he plays more as a defensive fighter like Floyd. He is bigger if that is what you mean by massive, he has the length. If there will be a offensive boxer here in this rematch, it will be Loma, when his 'hi-tech' style and approach.

Sorry that was my bad, of course I meant defensive not offensive style. Obviously. I just got a bit mixed up who I meant lol. Once Haney finds an opening, his counter punching combos are really nice to watch. Not so much his signature jabs but that might be where defensive styles lack style. He really seems to like parrying from a higher guard stance with his jab.

But his attack combos? The transitions are really nice.

I just think his size will be the deciding factor when combined with his defense in his fight vs Loma..

When Devin size, yeah it could really be an advantage for him whoever he fight. Even if he fought a boxer with similar length, he still manages to win. At the same time, Loma also fought boxers that are taller and beat them.

So it's really a hard fight to pick as both as his strengths, however, their style can also negate any advantages of their opponents.

Adjustment, both can do that as well in the middle of the fight, both have high boxing IQ.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 18, 2023, 05:26:13 PM
My honest option for Westbrook currently is that he will be a good additional to the LA Clippers, no doubt about that as the team is already good given that PG and Kawhi are there and adding Westbrook will definitely give the roster an enhancement to be a more serious playoff contender. But if ever he won't be in Clippers, he's also good to go in Miami Heat where his presence and contribution is really needed. But for Wizards and Bulls, I doubt it. But just like you guys have said, it still depends on the highest bidder, IMO.

Looking at his performance on LA make me believe that Westbrook is not suitable on team that has a lot of star player. He will just destroy the dynamics of the team especially if the star player is already comfortable to each other. He belongs to OKC and LA with both star player before but still he didn’t achieved championship despite he has lot of star player teammates. I don’t know exactly what team he is needed right now but Clippers is already perfect right now if they can maintain a healthy Kawhi and PG until the finals.

Yes, I do agree, I think WB doesn't have any position at the Clippers lineup, they already gave up John Wall already, an old and aging style, so it doesn't make sense for them to get a same player.

Kawhi and PG looks solid already, and they are amongst the top team in the West and they made a complete turn this season since Kawhi started to play. And it might be the same story for WB that any teams that will acquire him moving forward. He has set a bad precedence in the Lakers and other teams doesn't want that toxic environment.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Momentum Falters as Bitcoin Retreats to $23.6K on: February 17, 2023, 09:41:05 PM
Almost all altcoins are green now,

Bitcoin at $24,696. Marketcap  $1.12T

The author of the article is early to call this as faltering, although I would agree that there is a correction after that quick $25k burst. Still looking good this weekend. I though it's going to be slow and long and deliberate as traders are going to take a break but it's not. They are taking every opportunity to buy cheap crypto as well as taking profits. So nothing is new here.
1318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: February 17, 2023, 05:25:20 PM
@Jating. Here is another news update from Asia and it is another one in Hong Kong hehehe. I am beginning to speculate that China will open up again, however, this time it might only be through Hong Kong then slowly open Shanghai.

Another country to observe where billions will come from is Dubai and maybe also the countries around the the middle east. Dubai has started welcoming Defi and Web3 projects to continue development in their jurisdiction.

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) has begun offering cryptocurrency trading to professional investors in Hong Kong in partnership with crypto exchange OSL Digital Securities.

Eligible clients include individuals with over 8 million Hong Kong dollars (US$1 million) in investable assets and institutions with over 40 million Hong Kong dollars ($5 million).

Interactive Brokers and OSL's aim is to allow clients to invest in bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH) via a single platform alongside stock, options, futures, bonds and so on.

And my speculation is true then, we have seen the price going as high as $24,650 in some exchanged, so it's good enough for me. We might hit weekend that might slow down the growth. But hopefully we can be just staying in this upper bound price so that next week $25k will be in the horizon.

It's going to be a big retest for us, because of we pass this test, then $30k is going to be easy, in my opinion.

So let's hope that the bulls are going to make a push for this month.

You are correct! The retest has presently started already. There is also a weakening of the pump. I have not looked at cryptocoin charts many times since the beginning of the bubble pop, however, the RSI and the price have shown a bearish divergence since the first week of February.

I speculate this retest might show the opposite where bitcoin might create a higher low and RSI will create a lower low. A bullish divergence hehehe.

And quick as we go to higher highs of $25k yesterday, the dump that follow forcing the bears to retreat and we retest $23,600 again. But still good though, after the retest, we are back to $24k and above. So it might take some time again to see $25k, as this is the biggest barrier to break and maintain.

So we will see if the divergence will create a lower low, but it seems not going to happen at least at the end of the week. $25k is too weak though, we need more momentum if we wanted to stay on that price or reach higher this February. Still very exciting month maybe another green candle again.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29 on: February 17, 2023, 04:33:50 PM
This will be a good fight, it's obvious majority will think Ortiz Jr will win via KO, but I think taking risk to bet Stanionis win via decision isn't a bad idea.

Both Stanionis and Ortiz Jr have been fought an undefeated boxer, Ortiz Jr completely win since he was knocking out Michael McKinson while Stanionis he win via split decision against Radzhab Butaev. But I think the judge who score favor in Butaev is really robbed, Stanionis should win via unanimous decision.

Ortiz Jr might go hard on this one against the champion and see who he is made of. But Stanionis is very durable, and the odds doesn't really reflect how how he is, specially a knockout artist like Ortiz Jr.

Why not? the Stanionis is a huge underdog and betting for him might be a good risk.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Stanionis will go down in this fight, he might survived but Ortiz Jr punching power will put a toll on Stanionis, specially if Vergil will mix it up, head and body power punches.
I have seen both Stanionis and Ortiz Jr performance but I must say my vote for this fight will be for Ortiz Jr as aside that he might be the crowd’s favorite, the brutality of his shots might put down and defeat his opponent  just like what he did to McKinson inside the ring. If Stanionis will not improve his performance, most likely he will be defeated by Ortiz Jr during the fight.

Ortiz is a scary fighter and that's why we heard his name against two of the divisions best, Spence and Crawford. But at least he has his way against Stanionis. If he win they he can call out either of the two boxers for a fight.

But Stanionis looks solid though, he might have a tough chin that Ortiz need to check how strong it is. Same with Stanionis, for sure he is looking to defend his belt by any means so this is really a solid fight for us.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 17, 2023, 04:20:09 PM
The news just came out about a championship fight in the bantamweight division. We were worried that we might not be able to see Donaire fight soon when his last fight was cancelled. However, this new championship match has been announced and we will get to see him fight soon. Although the specific date has not been released yet, it will be announced soon for sure
Not sure if Donaire can still keep up with young guns but I'm rooting for him to win this match between Santiago. I think Santiago is a decent fighter and now that he's in his prime compare to an ageing Donaire I think the chance for him to beat one of the greatest was likely 60/40.

I think he still can, the only roadblocks for him is Inoue. All other boxers in the bantamweight, I think he has a good chance to beat them like Santiago here. I thought that Donaire might sit for at least 6 months waiting for the Sor vs Gaballo result.

Anyways, if this is for the belt then good for Donaire as you guys said, he will be given the chance. This is the consequences of Moloney backing out and I would say it's much easier opponent for Donaire.
