New design launching today in stake, night mode added there and also we can make a deposit altcoin with third party (but too high tx fee). May be because this update site very lag today, i hope it will fix soon. Also we need to play with altcoin there (not only deposit) so i also hope next time we can deposit and play directly to stake with altcoin.

Btw congratulation for this update, i believe you can make it better.

Edit : I saw now back to old version, may be some problem there and they try to fix that problem.

Nightmode is back! You can also deposit altcoins via shapeshift!

Primedice, a person in this forum said that your business is one of the donors to the development of the Lightning Network. If that is correct, then I assume you already run Segwit enabled wallets.

I want to get some feedback on how much lesser you pay in fees of every transaction you make.
I think PD still doesn't run/use segwit wallet , they probably will enable segwit wallet when they launch the new version of PD, along with altcoin support.

We'll be segwitted soon via core! There's about to be a lot more segwit support.

This users issue was fixed. His TX was not put into the mem pool due to an error with our fee calculation. It has been resolved and he was given a 1.5 BTC bonus for the inconvenience.
That is one hell of a bonus for an issue faced by an user ,twenty thousand dollars for the inconvenience caused for delaying his payment Shocked i know he is your legit whale who donated a huge number of coins,it is really great to see the team respecting old whales and compensating for the delay which i have seen in the past when the price was well below thousand, but this is a new experience. Grin

He was also permanently banned from the site after creating a scam accusation about the issue. The bonus is generous, but I doubt he is happy about the strings attached to it, since not many sites support the limits PD does.

That's incorrect, this user was not banned or restricted in any way. There are very few "banned" users (hufflepuff). The user was happy with the outcome in the end, but we made changes to ensure our big transactions make it into the mempool.
424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: January 01, 2018, 08:19:12 PM
i saw thread title and it says creators of dicing. is that true?

me and dooglus were talking the other day about old dice sites still running

i think just dice was the first provably fair dice site.

It's debatable what can be considered "dicing". Some could argue Satoshidice was first because they had a instant lottery style game where you can bet on different outcomes by sending to different addresses. In my opinion dicing is about dynamic odds and an instant percentile dice roll (0-100) which I first saw on PD, this became the standard. JD was first I saw that made use of strong fairness which also became standard, they also introduced rolling Hi or Lo, crowd-investing etc.

Obviously dice websites have borrowed ideas heavily from one another but I consider PD, JD SD to have led the early initial charge and laid down the foundation for what became a massive game in both the crypto world and CSGO. So as far as your question goes about being considered "creators of dicing" I think it's a fair statement to make. I believe PD is the longest running Bitcoin dice site (correct me if I'm wrong).

Happy new year by the way!

Just a reminder you may experience great delays when depositing or withdrawing depending on the transaction fee due to bitcoin network congestion. Bitcoin fees are reaching $40+ Sad we're waiting patiently for lightning and will be adding altcoins in our new version.

Hi Stunna,

Whats happening with withdrawals currently? Obviously the network congestion isn't helping matters but I've had a withdrawal pending for quite some time now

Can you confirm if you've received this or not? There's record network congestion at the moment, $30+ fees on average.

Nope, still sat pending within my account

Can you PM your username? Thanks

432  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice ( Targeting old VIP users ) on: December 07, 2017, 11:00:50 PM
This wasn't a targeted mute, I'll unmute your account shortly, thousands of accounts are muted a day to prevent faucet abuse automatically and this just seems to be a false positive. Unfortunately we don't have an option to disable faucet on a per-account basis other than using mute, we'll be fixing that as well.
433  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: December 06, 2017, 10:39:28 PM
I’d like to suggest that fair gambling sites should have all features for responsible gambling, so when people have self-control problems they can ask to be banned from the site for a certain period and/or setting limits of deposit. This is something most fiat sites have and make money anyway. This shows real interest in your customers.

Yeah but will sites really ban gamblers who are over a certain limit?

Basically most casinos make their largest revenue when someone is trading on emotion. If they started banning when people hit their limits, they would cool off and the next day most likely withdraw everything.

They do something similiar with traders. Basically a manager looks over your portfolio and P/L and if you are taking too many risks and losing they tell you to go home and come back tomorrow.

It has to be an Opt-in service not something you'd force on users. Otherwise your players would sit there thinking they were about to win the money back and you've restricted them from doing so and it also becomes a question of fairness. We have yet to really offer anything automated across our sites to deal with this, an option to simply lock your account from betting over a period of time you can select makes sense though as a cooldown.

Who said anything about forcing users? No casino forces users to take those measures.

Also, fiat casinos who have those features implemented make a lot of money. Not everybody uses them, and they can be changed by the user at certain times. For example. You allow yourself a maximum weekly deposit of 1BTC but you can change that 6 months after you set that limit.

People use those features, like self-exclusion for a certain period of time, after they have lost a lot of money, not before.

It gives casinos a good reputation and an image of taking care of their customers.

Ah, I misread. Self-exclusion makes sense and I'll make sure we offer a seamless way to do so in a future update. There is still the issue of how easy it is to create an account, and I don't want to lock-away player funds even if they want it so in case they end up needing it for another purpose.

This is a really cool idea! However, the issue with most provably fair systems -- is that you can only verify your own bets but not someone elses. A casino can just outright lie and there's no way for an independent party to know.  Embarrassed

So one possible idea, would be that the Crypto Gambling Foundation runs an "seed server" for each casino. Basically like the provably fair of bustadice.com ( https://gist.github.com/RHavar/285c295f7906e03369cd66580a1b5f45 ) which allows an independent party to verify the games. So it could be run by the Crypto Gambling Foundation.

But even then, there can still ambiguities. Like person says "I didn't request that withdrawal" and the casino is like "yeah you did".

The only way I can see to avoid that too, is just pure on-chain gambling games. (Like when I made pevpot: It was provably fair, non-repudiatable and immune to miners tampering. However, like most on-chain games it kind of sucked and people didn't actually like playing it).

Huh

Maybe somebody could be the first to leverage the just-released testnet of RSK to create Bitcoin smart contract gambling (https://www.rsk.co/)

We've been exploring RSK smart contracts for use in a new stake.com multiplayer game.

sir about this image, when i use it on my signature, the image is not as good as others do, its like crap on me when i use it, uhm maybe because of my rank right?

Yes, it's lower user ranks cannot use all the same BBCode in their sigs that higher ranks can. Here is the full table that explains it.

I'll post code for signatures that all ranks can use this week.

I am getting similiar issues.

This is most likely from the Bitmain hack that happened a few months ago. I use different passwords for each site but when someone tries to access all your bitcoin gambling accounts OR exchanges and keeps using the wrong password constantely the accounts get frozen.

This is an issue with some exchanges like Kraken, Poloniex, Bittrex which have virtually no support staff to unfreeze the account. So your funds are safe but you don't have access to them until they hire more staff. Basically you are forced to HODL

Yep, can't stress more that people use unique passwords + 2FA. Bitcoin is too expensive to play around.

Everything is nice but games still lagging a lot....any chance to fix this?

Haven't had any lag issues reported past few days. Have you tried recently?

sorry if this was asked before but couldn't find it here in the thread and I just noticed that in roulette you can't make all the type of inside bets
I was trying to make some split bets on roulette , but found that I can only place straight up bets
is there anything I'm missing ?? or the developers made the inside bets only straight up ??
You're not missing anything, there are no edge/corner bets, just bets on single numbers or the groups.

Yep, will tag this as a suggestion for roulette.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 29, 2017, 07:01:46 AM
As someone who was involved with Bitcoin when this post came up I will say that I have joined the wealthy elite (whatever that means, I believe I have achieved it). This week is my first week of retirement and I will be moving to Tahiti for bigger and better things.

Congratulations to others that have stuck around for so long and ensuring that the bankers will have some competition in the land of the wealthy elite.

This is gentlemen!

Congrats Elwar!

Now that we are officially the new wealthy elite, let's make sure that we do better than the old ones. Smiley

Well said.
