422  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: November 01, 2023, 11:46:53 PM
Maybe we are born like that and we are never satisfied with our own income. No matter how much money we earn, we always think of ways to increase our income.

It is the nature of human beings, and I also see it as competition because we want to get what other people get and be ahead of them.
I agree that is definitely by human nature that we're not content of what we have whether it's with material possessions and with incomes that we earn. The factor also about how life is tough these days want someone to earn more and that's why if you have a low income with your salary, you need to find some better paying job if you can. But if you don't want to leave that job of yours, you need to do extra hard work and use those vacant time of yours to do or find some side hustles.

In addition we also need to step our strategy in spending our hard-earned money.  This article[1] may give us a wider view how to manage our finances especially if we are in a low-income range.  The artilce stated that we should:

  • Track your spending to improve your finances
  • Create a realistic monthly budget
  • Build up your savings—even if it takes time
  • Pay your bills on time every month
  • Cut back on recurring charges
  • Save up cash to afford big purchases
  • Start an investment strategy
That's true because many employees that are earning very well don't manage to save money because they don't know how to manage their finances. That's why coming to the point of being a low wager and when you step up as a high earner, you need to step up also your way of managing finances.

If not that, why will a billionaire at 80 still be looking for ways to add more billions of dollars?
This make sense but usually these rich folks just used to their routine of working until they're dead.

The answer for that is either that billionaire is greedy or still want to live on the expectation of others to perform as if he is in prime age.  We never know how the billionaire thinks until we are one.  It makes sense that they are still aiming for profit because they are accustomed to earning huge amount of money so they still do it as long as they have the power to do so.
With my observation for those rich people that have thrived their ways to riches. They just become used to their routine and I think that even they're all set for life, they just want to work as if it is their body's vitamins. That's probably just me or they are just greedy.

Grin

You have made some USDT BEP20 on your other thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5472121.0) and lightwarrior helped you with BNB for the fees so that you can send that USDT to exchange.
Why not use that USDT on BEP20 for which you have the fee to send it in exchange for USDT in MATIC? Follow the instructions of Faisal for which isn't going to require you $10 for that exchange.

428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 31, 2023, 11:59:08 AM
I would be completely against him investing more or less from the money his parents gave him. He should earn his own money before investing in bitcoin instead of relying on his parents. As a first-year student, it will not be difficult for him to organize his time and find a part-time job to earn extra income. That way, he will be able to invest in bitcoin more comfortably.
I really don't like students who rely on their families and think that because they are students, they don't need to work. Therefore, I completely oppose any investment intentions of these young people unless they make their own money.
You have a point that if he can earn his money, that's what he should use for investing. But there are people that are given money by their parents and they just want them to spend it wisely. Investing in Bitcoin is a wise thing for them instead of spending it on nonsense things. I agree about finding a job, part time and from there he'll be more responsible with his money and he'll take care more of it. And as he takes care of the money given to him, that's where he's going to learn how to take care of his earned money from any gig that he works for. Because if he sees how hard it is to earn money, he'd definitely think of what's best for his money whether it's given by his parents or earned.

431  Economy / Economics / Re: Almost All Countries Affected by Inflation, Opportunity for Bitcoin! on: October 30, 2023, 07:39:40 PM
Although all countries are affected by inflation it will damage the country's economy but will not have any effect on Bitcoin. Bitcoin can help improve the economy by investing in it if inflation affects the economy the suffering of middle and low income people will increase. And higher inflation can spell disaster for the entire country but it depends on the economic capacity of that country even if the price of gold reserves increases it will fall into inflation as it affects the economy controlled by the government and everything with fiat currency is damaged.
Not all countries are positive with Bitcoin and they're unlikely to invest on it and they don't see the help that it can do to its economies.

But investing in bitcoin has nothing to do with inflation no matter how big the hurdle or why bitcoin will stay where it is. Most people are turning to bitcoin to escape the impact of the economy and further increasing the demand for bitcoin.
It has nothing to do with inflation but the global impact that's being caused by inflation has also some indirect correlation to Bitcoin. We see global issues startled by something and we see the impact on it on different markets and one of it is Bitcoin. We may like it or not, sometimes there's an impact as well to Bitcoin.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: October 30, 2023, 06:19:08 PM
With the older generations, they can't understand what Bitcoin is and you're only going to spend your time and voice talking to them into waste. Because that's what they have been believing that it's only best for them to get into the traditional investments and banks for them to trust with their money. The rise of Bitcoin is known mostly to the younger generations and that is because they're more with the technology and gadgets so it probably just came through their feed and buzz them with their curiosity to understand what Bitcoin is all about. I'm done into that point of convincing friends and relatives about Bitcoin.

Each generation will have a different view of the world, so we do not need and should not force people of the older generation to adapt to our things. Just like us, why don't we like and choose things that they like? So don't force them to follow our thoughts.

When we want to share and educate bitcoin, we should also choose the audience, not share widely and force everyone. Don't impose your thoughts on others when we also don't want to follow what others say.
I am not forcing it to anybody and even before, I didn't force to educate someone in Bitcoin because I just like them to know what I have discovered. I know the feeling of being ignorant and uninterested and that's why when I see people uninterested, I just stop and never talk about it anymore. And if they ask, maybe I'll get the appetite to tell it to them or maybe not. It depends to the mood because once you've been there and you've been ignored, you don't feel the same energy as before and you just lose that eventually.
433  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 30, 2023, 04:57:38 PM

434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: October 30, 2023, 09:36:18 AM
I have spoken many times with friends about this, and I have neighbors who are older adults and it is difficult with them to reach a consensus about bitcoin because they faithfully believe in banks and their methods of making money with interest. , but to the younger ones who are my age, it is different because they want to make a lot of money, I told them that making money that quickly is difficult but there is an option that is very good if they are lucky enough, that is to buy bitcoin and wait for the price to rise, what is not known is how the price can be raised, but there are many analyzes that make us give an idea, I tell you that by the end of 2024 they may have the profits, but it is difficult to convince them, some They bought, others didn't buy for nothing, but when it goes up a lot I'm sure they will buy there, because that's how people are.
With the older generations, they can't understand what Bitcoin is and you're only going to spend your time and voice talking to them into waste. 435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 29, 2023, 11:41:13 PM
Coach Tim knows how to balance his squad, without JBL the whole squad needs to work alongside each other,  with new reinforcement and Ahanminsi they have good numbers that they can add up to fill some space that JBL can provide,  I think they still going to be as competitive as they are  and still possible to reach the semis and so into the finals.
No doubt, the roster of theirs is already strong and addition of Tony Bishop can make it stronger. The coaching staff has their own basis for choosing him and just as how they've chosen Brownlee, they have also applied that this time because all they want is to have the championship which is usually their goal.

Too early though but we don't know what The Brgy  have to offer this upcoming season.
Just like everyone else, we've got huge expectations on them even without Brownlee.
436  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 29, 2023, 10:42:28 PM

438  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nag Rug Pull Na Nang Inis Pa, Dev Abandon NFT games on: October 28, 2023, 10:45:28 PM

440  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 27, 2023, 11:57:46 PM
I have both ledger and trezor, both ko naman ginagamit pang store ng token, nabalitaan ko before yung plan ng ledger regarding that and hindi ko pa inuupdate yung ledger ko matagal na. If you feel unsafe sa feature na yan or flaw, because it really defeat the purpose of a hard wallet na may iba pang makakarecover aside from the security phrase holder, it is really up to you, though I think it is much more safer padin to use it rather than any custodial wallets. Pero if may chance ka na makakuha ng ibang wallet is go for it, asset mo yan ehh, nasasayo if yung decision kung ano ang best way para ma secure sila.
