421  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 22, 2019, 12:48:59 PM
Betwrong, you should be using the media salary and not the average if you want to make it fair.  CEO pay since that era has risen over %1000, those averages look better because of the high concentration of wealth at the top.

Globalization has brought tech jobs down in salary in countries like the United States.  Companies would rather just higher four people for the price of one from a cheaper country.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only the strongest will survive the great altcoin purge on: May 22, 2019, 12:41:47 PM
The purge is real, I'm holding some really junk altcoins that are almost completely dead.  Next to no volume and only a few lower tier exchanges.  Oh well, I knew the risk gambling on these type of coins and it wasn't an amount of money that I will miss.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 22, 2019, 12:37:33 PM
I know people like to make fun of the btc pizza trade but consider the butterfly effect.  If that trade never happened bitcoin may have never become the juggernaut it is today.

Its really interesting to back and look at the old posts from 2010 knowing what we know now.
424  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for testing bitcoin mixer [banned mixer] and leave an honest review about us on: May 22, 2019, 12:27:05 PM
[banned mixer] is a very easy to use mixer.  First off, the website looks simple but is very easy to navigate.  I like the graphic design and color scheme.  The FAQ and other basic information is laid out in a east to understand manner.

I mixed my btc, and everything was quick and easy.  I'm not able to connect the two addresses so I'm sure the coins are sufficiently mixed with no traces to the original address.

The only thing I would add if possible is to show the address you want the coins sent to on the 2nd page just so you can confirm that is the correct address.

I would recommend this mixer to others.
425  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for testing bitcoin mixer [banned mixer] and leave an honest review about us on: May 21, 2019, 10:09:38 PM
I'm willing to give this a go. I'll send a pm.
Hi,
We sent you 0,0015 BTC on May,15. We can see that you received money. Have you initiated mxing? Please confrim that you are going to participate in testing and leave a review.

Ya I started the mixing a little while ago and waiting on the mixed coins.  Sorry about being late, totally slipped my mind.  Will write a review once I receive the mixed coins.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 21, 2019, 12:55:23 PM
My current Top 5 players in the NBA

1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Curry
4. Kawhi
5. Harden

Its almost unfair that the Warriors have two of the top 3 players in the league and they are showing that they don't even need Durant to win the title.  KD still doesn't get much respect after he won his rings because he had to join a superteam to do it.
427  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I wonder if this is the reasonable motive why Cryptopia goes bankcrupt on: May 21, 2019, 12:31:48 PM
As long as there is no legal control, manipulation is inevitable. Even banks do so. "Although there are some banking regulations rules, many banks are declaring their bankruptcy and therefore fleeing clients money."
Cryptopia is assumed to be responsible for all user deposits and to act as their guarantor. The news of hacking does not negate being responsible for this.

Cryptocurrencies have been created to get rid of these arguments so if you do not trust any exchange platfourm, do not use it.

Most banks insure their clients money up to a certain amount so there are very few people that lose money from their bank accounts like that.

Always try to be in and out of your exchange dealings and only send fractions of your funds at a time to protect yourself.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's diary - my Bitmex journey on: May 21, 2019, 12:26:50 PM
Congratulations on your current profits and I'll admit I'm kinda scared to trade on Bitmex.  I've seen too many people lose it all with high leveraged positions.  I have also head of Bitmex manipulating order books and have a lot of book slippage during volatile times.
429  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Don't use web wallet on: May 21, 2019, 12:16:33 PM
Web wallets work just fine if you are dealing with small amounts and don't want to download a wallet on your computer.  Especially if you are dealing with a bunch of altcoins, you really don't want to be downloading hundreds of different wallets that only have a few dollars on them.

Sometimes the convenience is worth the risk but everyone should make their own decision.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: How can Bitcoin reduce global economic inequality? on: May 21, 2019, 12:11:47 PM
understanding inequality will not disappear. but setting limits on decent living is a measure of the government's success. by having a good salary arrangement, then even lower employees will be able to fulfill their basic needs
What you mean with 'setting limits on decent living'? That governments should introduce a cap on how wealthy someone can become in order to not have the gap between rich and poor grow further?

I find that one of the most stupid recommendations so far. People need to stop being so sensitive to others being wealthier and more successful. The most important step towards change is to have it no longer bother you.

Smart 'poor' people don't complain but actively look to improve where possible, while the more ignorant 'poor' people continue to complain about how shitty the world is and how they can't make ends meet.

This sounds like something a billionaire would say, lets blame the poor person and say there is zero faults with the current system in place.  We are supposed to be a society that helps each other, I'm not saying put a cap on someones wealth necessarily but I believe we should go a better job at covering basic needs of people.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with instant deposits on: May 20, 2019, 03:12:47 PM
Very few if any casinos will let you instant withdraw if you have a big amount of bitcoins.  They like to play the stall tactic and do the whole KYC game hoping to confiscate your coins for violating some small print TOS that they didn't even make clear at the start.  Funny how easy it is to deposit money but once you try to cash it out it becomes a huge ordeal.  Grin
432  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free listing exchanges on: May 20, 2019, 03:08:26 PM
Money talks and unless you already have a huge community no big exchanges won't be listing you for free.  Its only appealing to list for free when there know the trading volumes will be huge and they can take a large cut of the fees.
433  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why are people rushing to buy the IEO at Binance? on: May 20, 2019, 03:02:35 PM
I don't see why this is so surprising.. The Gambling industry pulls in hundreds of billions each year.  Put 1% of that for crypto gambling and its at the minimum one billion each year.  Its easy to see why they can sell 10 million worth of tokens (lottery tickets) to that crowd that is seeking to get rich quick.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is loss of bitcoin.com a setback for Bitcoin Core? on: May 20, 2019, 02:56:43 PM
People definitely get influenced to buy bitcoin cash over bitcoin when they visit bitcoin.com and I'm sure a lot of new crypto users visit bitcoin.com first to see what it is all about.  I'm sick of the fighting myself and want to see all the top coins succeed, there is no reason we can't all support each other.  There is more than enough new money to be spread around.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining low difficulty coins on: May 20, 2019, 02:48:41 PM
I think there are still a lot of coins that have a very small level of difficulty for mining, you can use the POS method like the one on VEIL coin.

So many Veil shills in the altcoin mining section, you guys are getting paid in Veil to promote their project.  No wonder you guys are everywhere.  I'll admit I haven't researched into that much but I will remain skeptical because it looks like another pump and dump coin designed to fool newbies.
436  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning interest on cryptos on: May 20, 2019, 02:39:06 PM
I wouldn't trust any of those casino sites that you can invest in the bankroll, I've seen too many of them exit scam.  Investing in Exchanges that do leverage is not worth the risk either, most give you under 10% yearly.  You could always try to invest in some altcoins that are proof of stake and maybe even a masternode if you are feeling the risk is equal to the potential reward.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not just gamble with fiat? on: May 19, 2019, 01:08:21 PM
I found it more convenient to gamble with crypto rather than Fiat,
I want the anonymity that crypto gives us specially in gambling it doesn't require us to send our personal data,
And it could our family or friends to know that we are gambling of course if we want to keep it hidden to them.
And it is much more easier to gamble with crypto since we only need to have an internet access to play unlike in Fiat we need to go to real casino's just to gamble or play.

There really isn't anonymity gambling with crypto because every gambling website makes you do KYC if you win a significant amount of money.  It happens all the time, its usually a stall tactic to keep your money anyways.  If you are serious about gambling you will just use regular money at reputable casinos instead of messing with crypto ones.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Happy accidents on: May 19, 2019, 12:56:22 PM
Hmm, I haven't consider any major mistake so far when I'm gambling. I guess the worst thing I did is intentionally place a bet on the underdog team during a basketball match (just the local one). Its opponent is leading 1-0 to a best of 3 match but I still did such think because I have a strong feeling that they can tied up despite of being not a well known strong team. Fortunately, I won and able to brag on my friends at the same time Grin.

People always love the underdog and the potential prize you can win is very high Smiley  Imagine if you put money on Leicester City F.C. to win the Premier league a few years back.  They odds were 5000:1 for them to win the title.  You could of won $1million with only a $200 bet.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 19, 2019, 12:47:40 PM
The salary we got cant chase the inflation rate, if we only rely on salary then we will be in the poverty zone, that's why a lot of wealthy people ask us to invest and let the money work for you, crypto currencies could be the perfect investment example, you can see the price keep on climbing from year to year, we need to think how to achieve financial freedom, rely on salary wont makes us achieving financial freedom

People at the bottom don't have extra money to invest.  They are struggling to afford food and rent. Its a continuous cycle that keeps the poor from obtaining wealth.  The rich love it because it gives them a desperate pool of workers that will obey their every command.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 19, 2019, 12:41:03 PM
Ebay owns paypal so they will never accept a payment method like bitcoin, they would create their own coin before they accepted any of the established ones.  Also I doubt Amazon will ever accept crypto directly but there are a lot of 3rd party services that allow you to buy on Amazon with btc.
