1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: July 12, 2018, 01:23:45 PM
Selling right now is similar to buying near the all time high.  The price can't go much lower from here.  I really think its foolish to sell right now, don't let the panic get the best of you and be patient.  Go back and look at past charts, those that panic sell during crashes always end up regretting it when the bulls return.
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: India to legalize gambling and sports betting on: July 12, 2018, 12:48:17 PM
The government is just looking to collect more revenue.  You see this in a lot of places with legalization of marijuana, they really don't care about citizen's rights.   Governments love to get their hands on any source of money flowing through their country, that's why they hate the black market.
1423  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to Bitcoin Market Nowadays? on: July 12, 2018, 12:36:53 PM
The market is horrible now - look at it - it is just a series of small pumps followed by a slow leakage down - rather like trying to keep a bouncy castle inflated but it has a leak. Sooner or later they will have a huge dump and it will all be down at ATLs.

It has degenerated into a series of small pumps and dumps with no organic activity in it anymore - maybe it is because there is such little interest in Bitcoin right now and just the Whales buying and selling to each other.

The market isn't horrible, Bitcoin is over six thousand dollars.  No one thought it could reach these levels back when it was $1.

litte interest in Bitcoin? There are millions upon millions invested in mining facilities.  The big investors know the true potential of bitcoin and the bright future it has.
1424  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 12, 2018, 12:15:14 PM
Most of these "hacks" are inside jobs.  They come up with excuses so they can easily run away with users' money.  I've seen it time after time and it looks like this will never stop as long as there are greedy people in this world.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of bitcoin(cryptocurrency) to fiat currency transaction? How easier? on: July 12, 2018, 11:57:06 AM
One of the downsides is that transactions may be too easy.  What I mean by this is that you can enter in the wrong sending address and have no chance to recover your funds.  Always triple check the amount you are sending and if its to the right address.  There is even malicious software that can automatically change the address without your consent.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting on: July 11, 2018, 02:48:07 PM
To be quite frank with you sportsbetting is fun, You know that feeling wherein you get to support your favored team ans enjoy them play, It's really fun but you know that sometimes if you really need some cash, then sportsbetting is what you can do to earn some more, in picking your team you shouldn't just pick it because you like that team, if you need money then you should analyze well, predictions are hard and very risky, so what you can do is analyze the players and their capabilities, which team you think will gain the upper hand, and then again in sports betting you'll also need luck, because after all it's a SPORT, which means its a GAME, and in a GAME anything can happen right?

It's like the butterfly effect.  One small thing can change the outcome of one game.  Say a fan runs on the field, a player's father dies, a referee has a bias against a certain player.  This is the beauty of the world, so much chaos and things end up being unpredictable.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way for marketing a new crypto? on: July 11, 2018, 02:45:22 PM
My question is mainly how to do the marketing if you are launching a new crypto currency step by step ?

Signature campaigns are always good considering how much traffic this website gets and it's not very costly.  You can always go the facebook/ google route but that will be much more expensive.  The best thing to do is build a community driven project so that supporters will do the advertising for you because they hold the coin and are passionate about it.
1428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to help all for trading on: July 11, 2018, 02:42:47 PM
It's very important to find a good exchange with low fees.  A lot of exchanges are sketchy and you may have trouble withdrawing your funds and have to submit to a KYC.  If you are new, dont just dive in head first.  Take some time and study past charts and do some practice trades  at first with fake money.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: July 11, 2018, 02:41:08 PM
This is a short story but once I was playing at a casino on vacation and I spilled by drink all over the table.  I felt like an idiot, at least the staff were nice about it and there wasn't a big scene or anything.
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: banks investment and the crypto world on: July 11, 2018, 02:39:41 PM
I think bankers will do everything they can do stop bitcoin.  Centralized banks create money out of debt, thats how most of our current money supply is created.  With cryptocurrency you can't just magically create more money by handing out IOUs.
1431  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell Bitcoins ? on: July 11, 2018, 02:38:02 PM
I usually don't sell bitcoins for fiat.  I try to seek out retailers and shops that accept bitcoin so I don't have to convert to fiat.  Every little bit helps to help bitcoin grow.  Talk to your local shop about accepting bitcoin and explain all the advantages it has over regular money.
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin correction today is healthy! on: July 10, 2018, 03:17:14 PM
I know it is probably depressing for you

But

This dip is necessary to align the technicals

And

Clean out the bears

Bull run in the making

My Opinion!

yawn, your making a thread about a 300 dollar dip? This is nothing. Maybe if it dropped under 4k it would be cause for concern.  Do yourself a favor and stop checking charts everyday, you'll drive yourself crazy.
1433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hype Has Barely Even Begun on: July 10, 2018, 03:12:04 PM
I believe that the hype has barely even begun. Only 1 percent of the global population owning any cryptocurrency and news of banks and financial institutions looking incorporate blockchain technology and invest in cryptocurrencies; I think there will be a more mainstream adoption in the coming 18-24 months.

Agreed, total market cap is still extremely low.  Less than 300 billion? come on, Bezos, Gates, and Buffet are worth more than that.

The cool thing about Bitcoin is the large number of decimal places, so in the future we may be talking about satoshi units as we tlak today about dollars.
1434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the rich bitcoinist? on: July 10, 2018, 03:09:21 PM
There are a lot of unknown whales out there that have massive amounts of bitcoin.  But the three richest bitcoinists I know are:

1. Satoshi- Estimated to have about 1 million bitcoins, since he the only one mining at the start
2.- Winklevoss twins- are said to have around 100k bitcoins, purchased at the 100-200 dollar range
3. Mt Gox trustee- last time I checked they were at about 80k b itcoins.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So Much Scam Bounty on: July 10, 2018, 03:07:03 PM
Unfortunately, we, the usual participants of the bounty, can not affect it in any way. I find it difficult to choose projects, but I rarely come across skam. I think I have already gained a lot of experience.

You guys need to find campaigns that are run by reputable managers.  Most of the ICOs in the bounties section are scams and you will never get paid for your work.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: July 10, 2018, 03:02:56 PM
I know some of the major addicts give all of us a bad name.  Same goes with drug use, some people know how to use responsibility and not let it negatively affect their lives.  Most gamblers are just looking to have some extra fun and throw some money on a sports match to make it more exciting.
1437  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 10, 2018, 02:58:48 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin

No I don't agree with your statement.  A lot of poor people are really intelligent but they don't have the resources to succeed.   Being abused as a child, growing up in a poor country filled with violence you will have a very small chance to overcome that.

Most rich people I know in real life are either stupid with good connections or just got extremely lucky.

1439  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 09, 2018, 01:35:43 PM
I still think its good to have a portion of your money in Silver and Gold.  If there is some sort of EMP or natural disaster that knocks out our systems gold will be very useful.  Some people just like something they can physically hold as well, its not just an old people thing.
1440  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Jeff Bezos will beocme a trillionaire? on: July 09, 2018, 01:27:05 PM
I really don't think its possible considering how old he already is. He would need a 10x in his current net worth to be a trillionaire.  Amazon is a massive company but I don't see it growing that much.
