yep I still earn with the machines as is. but when diff pushes 25mill th this mod will let the machines earn until diff is about 45mill th. so maybe 30 or 40 extra days of profit

To those with batch 2 units. Someone mentioned that there is a new power supply? How many watts now? and how many watts drawing at the wall? Have the new heat sinks improved cooling at all? What is new temp range? and range of temps on chips internally? New Case? Better / worst design? Thanks for any additional information.

How many AMPs are you pulling? Do you have a standard 200A service?
I doubt they will want to upgrade hardware on their dime, you aren't a typical customer. If you were to move they would have over built, under utilized infrastructure. Time to look into commercial/industrial locals.
if you have city approved permitted 200 amp service you are entitled to use it. now following the very conservative 75% constant run safety margin you are allowed to pull 150 amps 24/7/365. that would be 18000 watts non stop. of course your problem may be the city/town did not permit 200 amp service or you may draw more then 150/200 amps. good luck fighting them. put another way " if you are using under 75% of your permitted amp rating 24/7/365 you should be allowed to get that. " Ask the power company to show you in writing that the statement above is wrong. if you are in an area wide power shortage brownout they can shut you down. but in non emergency conditions they should be required to provide what your city/town permit rates your home for. My home has 150 amp 220 volt service which is split into 2 110 volt rails. other then one 40 amp fuse for my ac at 220 volt. I run 6000 watts 24/7/365 for mining in the winter and about 2300 watts in the summer |

well if you purchased btc at 385 usd these are 343 dollars each. if you mine .8 btc with it at 450 usd a coin you get 360 back net usd of 17 no power or psu used to get that number. very tight margins for any type of profit right now. for instance I have one up for sale on ebay at 495 and it has not sold. and 495 on ebay is the lowest ebay price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161275278411&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT if I get the 495 for this machine after fees and shipping I clear 420 I paid 343 so I make about 77 bucks on it. and whatever little it mines in about 10 days. so under 90 profit at best. unless btc jumps these will be a grind for me to make some money. and I have 7 so when all is said and done I will be lucky to make 1000 usd on all 7 combined. |

Antminer S1 Sales open 
Guys its been at least 2 out of 10 of bitmain that were used (much dust), and also overclocked!
Are they serious? How can they have warranty when they send them o'cked?

Bitmain, any comment on this   Buy BFL.  I bought about 50 Antminer S1 units from Bitmaintech. Every time I had my unit cleaned form dust and resetted to stock speed and I was happy with it as customer. But what is happening now, with delayed deliveries of S2 units and dusted, used and overclocked S1 units is just beyond criticism. well they delivered 25% of the entire btc network in the form of s-1s. They did this in under 5 months. I purchased 7 got one dud and got it replaced. The network is about 60,000Th 25% of that is about 15,000Th that comes to 75000-85,000 units of s-1's. So what is an order of 50 what is 7 or 8 pices to their bottom line. Not much. They slowed the s-2 down because the psu is wrong. It will not work on a 120 volt setup it need to be a 1200 watt psu not a 1000 watt psu. They also slowed it down because price of coins is flat. |

OK, i give up.. what is that? thats the size of the component you need to swap out if you want to change a resistor value without a pencil mod That is what I thought.... I had a hard enough time just hitting it with a pencil yeah my 57 year old eyes with 2x cataract operations an implanted lens in each eye. then I need reading glasses lots of light and I use this http://www.maxiaids.com/ProdImages/lg/5844.jpg so A 3b pencil and a quality meter is what I will do. |
