I wanted to come back to bitminter. But after mining for 20~ hours with 200 GH/s I'm only seeing 0.05BTC. Was it just a bad few rounds? Even with bad rounds, I never had it this bad at slush.

you do realize that  the first 10 hours are your ramp up  from 0 to 200gh don't you?  I suggest you run for 100 hours then stop.  you will continue to collect during the next 10 hours as your ramp down from 200gh  to zero happens.

MorebloodWine some hash is on the way. 2 sticks

well I have 19 shares from r5+r6.    I have  11 shares from r9-r12  .

so I have about   200gh in hash running as I type.

If someone can buy 600gh-660gh   out of the 1100gh it is too much.  but just for 1 reason.   that person would have the vote won at all times.  after all they would have 60% of the 100 shares.

So if they said  I want to sell the miner  lets call a vote would  not they always win the vote?

I can't blame the guy for buying the shares. ,  but I would think a 25% limit or a 33% limit  would be a good idea in the future for any one round.

THis  does not mean you can't have 1000gh or even 2000gh across 5 or 6 rounds.  just not more then 25-33% of any one round.

Myself I am staying back a bit from buying I need to collect a few coins then sell them before I buy again.

I think 25 or 33% is too high. That still means 3 or 4 people can completely buy out a round leaving nothing for the "little guys". I would suggest 10% per round as fair, that means no less than 10 people and probably closer to 20 on average per round. Thats a co-op effort. 3 or 4 people thats still a monopoly.

I guess 10-20 range works.  for sure not 60%  or unlimited.

if you want that type of 50%  or more deal just send pm's and ask them to buy and host.  BTW  close to 400 usd a coin at coinbase!!

https://coinbase.com/charts

  yeah baby!

I so can't wait till dividend day.

44604  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7 dead block erupters and a shorted 49 port erupter hub low BTC price on: November 13, 2013, 02:40:00 PM
I think the 49 port usb hub has a shorted trace.  instead of the fuse blowing the plastic  part of it melted.

the sticks  did not die on this hub. I purchased about 2000 sticks since july. 30, 50 ,70 at a time from canary i.t.m / silent s. b.  and crazy guy.

I kept the dead ones rather then mail back for returns.  When I got dead sticks at .5btc a stick I would mail them back for returns.  but when the sticks got really cheap .1btc or so  I did not bother.

So I am cleaning up all  my dead stuff.  I  also have a 7 port hub and the dead psu. I killed the psu by running 46 sticks on it.  it was good up to about 30-35 sticks. I posted about it on crazy guy's 49 port thread. \\

I am pretty sure the 49 port hub can be fixed by anyone with skills……    as for the sticks?

They're still in my mining pool account... that's weird. I'll look into it.

may be a 24 hour payout or maybe they have a  minimum like 1 nmc

let me find my other NMC address.

N8VByepvsH6iLAFgQu8nUqWxnfzNRuZ8ox

must be .001 nmc or bigger

.17 actually. I realized that I didn't save the address before rapidly clicking the payout button. Just checked and it's no longer in my pool account.

got it thanks

If it works at under 2 watts a gh at the wall.
If the price is correct .
If the gear ships fast I want some.

Usb sticks   will  sell like mad on USA ebay for the right price.   a .333gh am stick  is selling at 15 usd or more on ebay as I type.
it these are easy to setup  and can be sold for 60 usd on ebay people will buy them.    If they sell at 90 usd on ebay people will buy the red fury stick for 115 usd.

There have been more then 300,000 am sticks sold on usa ebay.    if these sticks hash at 1.6gh people will want to upgrade.
Ebay is all about price points.  As a seller of  sticks selling this for 60 usd a stick means I need to pay 40 usd a stick. If I sell single sticks.
If I sell sets of 2 sticks for 120 usd.

  my  cost  could be 45 a stick.  2x 45 = 90 my fees are 9 usd 99 and shipping is 6 usd .   105 for my cost 120 for the sale means I make 15 bucks a sale .

I am basing this on 350 usd a BTC.    So if the sticks come out at 50 usd a stick or more  It will be tough to make a profit selling them.
My interest is on the sticks as I know there are 10's of thousands of people running AM sticks. I sold a few thousand sticks on ebay.
I was hoping for red fury sticks to be the new replacement stick but  they are harder to setup. They cost too much and supply is small.  I am hoping you can produce a stick that works well with the correct price.

How many can I fit comfortably on a dlink dub7 hub?

four   for sure.    stick-space-stick-space-stick-space-stick       so a hub that did 7x .333 or 2.3gh   will now do about 4x 2.2 or 8.8 gh

2.3gh vs 8.8gh and the 4 stick will pul less power.

the one stick I got is running with bfgminer 3.6.0  on bitminter.com   same pc is running am sticks using bit minter java client.  so you can avoid the issue of setup conflicts.  you can also clearly see what the stick hashes since it is the only one using bfgminer.   my stick has been 2.37gh which seems to be good for these sticks.  when I get the next 3 mailed to me I will post speeds.

One thing for sure   they should change the speed rating to 2.2- 2.5gh  plus or minus  10%.

the setup is harder then Am sticks. they are a lot cooler then am sticks.
44608  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / (closed) 7 dead block erupters and a shorted 49 port erupter hub low BTC price on: November 13, 2013, 04:08:56 AM
gear has been sold and shipped to dentldir

A second person paid for this gear I will either refund him or send him other gear

I refunded the second buyer

Okay a shorted 49 port hub.
7  AM dead sticks and a dead psu.

for dirt cheap usa shipping only

.131 btc gets it all.

the hub melted the fuse when I took it apart  to see what was up. there is a fine cut/slash across some traces.   my 50 plus year old eyes are not fixing it.

some one with good hands and eyes can fix it.

7 dead sticks and a dead psu all fit in a medium flat rate.

I will pay to ship.  so   if you want this. send me a pm then send me  .131 btc

are you including instructions for how to mine with them in the delivery?

Darn it... was I supposed to?

you can always answer them later if they ask.
some buyers do not have any idea of what they are doing some buyers do.   direct them to www.bitminter.com if they are newcomers it is pretty much the easiest pool to use.  give them a few hub picks  the dlink 7 port  is okay for 5 sticks.

I think we should continue mining as hashfast has not shipped and second batch of kncminer is still shipping.

But we should still start looking

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KNCMiner-Jupiter-Bitcoin-Miner-550-GH-s-in-Hand-/301011092713?pt=AU_Components&hash=item4615a8c4e9
Here is one selling for $11k

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KNC-Kncminer-Jupiter-Bitcoin-Miner-550-GH-s-in-Hand-USA-/181259813744?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a33ed4370
Over 7600$

even if we forgo ebay and do a btw sale on site for 20 coins or 23 coins we just need to watch for the right time. sell one keep the other is too be considered.  I like the mining end a lot more then the sales end ,but there is a lot of money in the sales end.

Whose idea was this? I don't have any BTC to spare, but I have Namecoins I mined and no wallet to send to. Post your namecoin address and I'll send you what I have in my miner's account... Hell, I'm not using it. Woot!

How much BTC would per share get if miners are sold , I am too lazy to do the maths.

1 miner at 6700 usd is 20 btc

so .2 btc per share  for 1 miner if we got 6700 usd for the 1 miner.
44618  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] New Price RED FURY - USB Miners - USA Group Buy on: November 12, 2013, 04:52:58 AM
Yes, we have lowered the price to reflect the continuing jump in the BTC/USD exchange rate.

New price is .32 BTC

Get 'em now before something else happens...

I may want some more.  I am waiting on the last three I ordered..  The long holiday weekend has delayed shipping.  When I get the 3 and set them up I will pm you for more.  thanks Phil

list a set of 5 on ebay for 99 usd.   If btc goes up they will sell.
