Well I for one prefer to wait .  Since I really do not like the preorder idea.  So far Bitmain has shipped the s1's as none preorder I prefer that the u1's are sold that way.  So I am waiting with patience.  I look forward to testing these against the red fury bitfury sticks that I have.

I hope that these have better  quality control them the red furies have had.

you can use a usb 3 or usb 2 hub.   My 3 work fine with usb 3. A lot depends on if you use a pc or a raspberry pi.   I have a higher end diy pc.  with a specialty cpu from intel  a quad core i7 3770t  and a better motherboard an asrock z77 its-e.  I use an aitech 10 port aluminum hub with a mean well  12 volt 6amp power source I adjusted the power to the hub to 12.9 volts and my 3 sticks run well. one runs at 2.82 the second at 2.53 the third at 2.23

the lowest one has signs of bad solder work and started at 1.5 after the pencil mod it is 2.23

Okay good point.  So I have 1250 shares if I ask .0014 for them   that is 1.75 btc  while this would seem terrible in terms of my 7.5 btc paid in back in july in terms of cash it is a nice profit.

Each machine we own is about 12400 shares…  so at .0014 a machine is about 17.36 btc   at .0012  a machine is about 14.88 btc.     so the correct price is between .0012 and .0015 a share.

So I will offer my 1250 shares on that link.  I need to read transfer procedure. 

So far I have sold 100 of my 1250 shares.  Thank you for the thread link.

it is why  I don't fully disagree with you .  my keep 1 sell 1 would be half right and half wrong.

 your keep both would be all right or all wrong..  on the all right side it could be a lot of money.  and if coins spike up to 2000 people would pay 35k for a knc.

  also the knc run better then the black arrows.  so keeping them is not a terrible idea.

As I have r5+r6   and r9-r10-r11-r12   I am very happy with dZcoop.  


 If I may say I am USA based and I pay taxes.  SO btc roi means 0 to me .    When I pay my taxes in APRIL next year.   This purchase made roi. and a usd profit.


 To all that believe in BTC roi fine you can do this.  But in most countries btc is translated to the fiat of that country in order to determine gain.  

 I purchased 11 shares here at 123 usd each a total of 1353  if selling this gear off gets us 180 a share I get 180 x 11 = 1980 usd

my usa taxes would be 1980usd  plus the coins paid to me prior 1.09098806 cashed in on  nov 14 for 450 usd and 1.12229538 cashed in for 1122.29 a grand  total of :



 3552 income against  123 a share x 11 or 1353  this comes to a net of 2199 usd……  So I would be fine with cashing out my chips.  this gear has been harder to run so lets get rid of it.

   My vote is sell  it all.  r9-r10-r11-r12.      my vote for r5+ r6 remains sell 1 keep 1.

    I voted a full sale there due to the gear being a bit flakey compared to the KNC in this buy.  My vote here is sell one and keep one.      I wish all my investments had these problems. LOL

the argument for selling 1 and keeping 1 is based not on difficulty but on BTC price.    If the BTC drops to 100 usd like it was in sept we really fucked up  if we keep both machines.  As always  I am in the sell one and keep one camp.  thus leveling the price risk somewhat.

  I do agree that diff will be flat for 8 or 9 days.  But the nov KNC have shipped a  bit and ant miner is ramping up  30 x 180 plus 30 x 180 plus 120 x 180 is 180 x 180 is only 32th knc's nov gear is about 600th  .  so that is 632th or 10%.

   I think we jump 20%  from 707 to 850 diff.

  This will make the sell value on the knc drop so If we sell one we lower that risk.  Hey I made a profit so whatever people want is cool.  But there are downsides to just mining. As long as you are aware of the downsides  of just mining I am fine with you picking that over selling one of two.

the latest listings show the the 25k price point is no longer around.   we had an offer for 23k right now ebay would be 17 or 18k.

people saw the price of btc go all over the place on sunday and now are afraid to buy a machine at 25k.  hey don't worry in a day or two the btc price could go up  to 1500usd and the knc price on ebay could go to 30,000.  just remember this is a winning group buy and be happy
