I have nothing to sell right now,

but there are about 4 or 5 sellers with 100 plus feedbacks 3 or more years selling.

in business for 8 years

http://www.ebay.com/usr/bggmclumber

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=bggmclumber&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=true&rt=nc   170 plus with 1  neutral

will take paypal for the gear

The price well a matter of opinion if it is too high.  For my blood 16 k is over my head.  Most likely this is a legit deal.  Plus you would have paypal protection.
44326  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Rig ok with 2 GPU but problems with adding 3rd. on: December 05, 2013, 08:15:17 PM
okay try  1 card in first slot .  then try the same card with a powered riser in the first slot.

lets say that works.  try the same card in the second slot.  the try the card second slot same good powered riser.

sucks as it takes a while to do this.   move to the third slot.  pretend all good.

  this mean
 A all slots work
B the riser works
C that one card works.

use the second card all alone  repeat all tests.

pretending that works use third card.

you now know all cards are good.  all slots are good and the one riser is good.

test again with second riser.  pretend all good.  this means 2 good card 3 good slots 2 good risers.

do the same tests using 2 cards 2 slots and 2 risers.

if it fails then there is a mobo or a software issue.

I would try to be encouraging  as tweak and test of gpus can take 2 or 3 days.

edit what other miner software can you use?

BTW  I hated risers tons of problems with them.

44328  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I want to jump on board! Just not sure which route is best to go? on: December 05, 2013, 06:51:39 PM
So I'm a newbie and I'm looking into getting into bitcoining and litecoining. From what I've heard litecoin is more profitable since it's like bitcoin jr right now. (That's how I've heard it put) So with that being said I'm going to have a maximum of $2000 to invest at the first of the year and I'm curious which is the best way to go? First things first.... Do I need a dedicated machine for each bitcoin and litecoin mining? Or if I was to get a butterfly labs rig that could handle 25gh/s for $1249 could I share that between mining for each application? My guess is no! Please guide me in this direction. I'm basing my funds to use on current technology not what they may have next year. Also is it really that easy to hook a 25Gh/s bitcoin miner to a new computer and run the miner program connecting to a pool and let it do it's thing? Also another question I have is do you put all your nuts in one basket by only dedicating your computer to one pool or do you run multiple pools? I can do my research on who the best one's are I'm just curious on so many things. Please do your best to guide me on this subject as I'm very tech savy with pc's and hardware but with this mining is NEW to me!!! One other thought I've seen so many of these rigs where people are using multiple video cards to mine. Why is this the best way to mine? Or is this not all it's cracked up to be? Seems to me 3 or 6 or 9 video cards all running parallel at like 685Mh/s is nothing compared to a Butterfly labs 25Gh/s....... Clarity requested please!

okay   do this slowly do not put in 2k.

 join cex.io

 just buy 1gh

I get a free 3 % commission if you use the link below.

Why do I say this well I would make about 1 dollar a week.  btu that is not why as you can join them without using my referral link.

You need to understand BTC world with a cheap investment to start.

 Not a big high end 2k 4k 5k move.

1gh of hash at cex.io is not cheap  it is about 75 bucks .  but the value is very important. due to the extra benefits offered.  notice the attack on my carefully designed explanation done by the other member below.  see that he insulted my advice without waiting for the longer writing required to explain why you really want a small account in cex.io

okay if  you join cex.io spending about 75 usd in btc to get 1gh of hash.  you get the ability to use the largest pool in the world to mine

 BTC
NMC
DEV
ITX  coins.

DEV and ITX coins are not worth much but  if you let them sit for a month that do get bigger.
NMC are about 1 usd  and cex.io  will let you directly trade your nmc into btc.

Let me explain  why you want to point your in house  miners at  big pool.  the bigger the pool the shorter the  bad luck streaks .  you earn consistent..

I have 6gh in purchased hash on cex.io  I have 1.4 referral hash from people that read  posts I write explaining the benefits of cex.io.
Lastly I point 20 to 40 gh  from my in home miners at cex.io.
the  fees are tiny I get bonus nmc and I can convert the nmc to btc right on the same site.  I then convert  the btc to more hash on the site

my grand total of hash is 6 + 1.4 + 25 =  32.4 today..   once a month sell some of the on site hash for btc transfer to coinbase and convert to usd.

While I realize many will tell you mining is a gear thing it is not a gear thing.

it is a larger game then my knc miner does 600gh hash  and spends just 600 watts to do it.
but if you can get a knc miner to do that for under 6k usd I will buy it.
if you can get better gear at good price points buy it.
many more important things then getting a good deal on a good piece of gear.
 1) get it fast
 2) trade up hash power and pull out some cash.
 3) all the gear gets out dated fast  so you need to be able to sell slower gear and buy better gear.
 4)

Can someone give me a reason to not sell my 49 port hub?

this item would be better then any usb stick made in the 49 port hub.

 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=339371.0

I would follow this thread.  see what they sell for and buy a few to run on your 49 port machine.

you could then decide to sell the 49 port   with a few sticks.  or buy more sticks

Hi philipma1957
Thanks for sharing your sale
Look like a good deal for you
I am trying to understand your numbers

“So I got .395 btc for 300 shares” = I.e.  0.0013166 Per share BTC
“.395 btc is about 426 usd” + i.e.  1 BTC =$1078.48
Therefore complete Jupiter would sell 12400 x 0.0013166 = 16.9384 BTC = USD $18,267.72
New Jupiter now costs $4495   (4.105 BTC) = i.e. $8.17 per GH/s
You sold your share at $33.21 per GH/s
I guess the share price will go down on Sunday after the dividends are paid
Expected Divs per share this Sunday: 0.00027 BTC
So 0.0013166 - 0.00027 = 0.0010466 = next week share price

the price for a machine is not 4495 from resellers.
try to buy  1gh  right now  to start instant hashing.

3 am sticks on ebay = 150 usd for 1 gh       wait for the sticks.
1 red fury on ebay     =  300 usd for 2.4gh   wait for the sticks.

33.21 per gh is cheap compared to above.
the next best deal I can find is a cube from canary in the mine.  he wants 1 btc for 30 ghash or 33.33 a gh
you have to wait about 4 days. you need 200 watts you need a router/switch you need to know what to do to set it up.

buying hash from cex.io is about 75 usd a gh.

so the buyers that purchased from me  got instant hashing that actually started on sunday the 1st and got it on the 4th.

if you buy that cube at about the same price  you do not have it setup until sun or monday the 9th.

I did not really want to sell of but I  had  3 buys and  more then 250gh in hash.

if coins tank i lose a lot in the fiat price of the gear.  I would have sold 1/2 of all three buys  but this addiction  buy was easy to sell .  so I sold all of it.  Most likely I will hold my other 2 buys since resale  of them is hard too do.  I now have 200 gh. In the other 2 buys.

44335  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - ADDICTION - KNCMiner - Now hashing at 14+TH! on: December 04, 2013, 09:58:53 PM
It has been a pleasure working with this group buy.

my fiat roi is 771 usd in  and 2562.65 usd out.

I am still hoping to regain my missing .39 btc from the bips me hack.  I was contacted by them today and they said my btc was transferred after the theft and they may be able to recover it for me.  More then 1000 btc was stolen from them.  At the time of theft BTC was about 500 usd.  so around 500,000 usd.  It has  since risen 2x to more then 1,000,000 usd.

Still  anytime I can start with 771 and end up with 2562 is good for me. or maybe I get that .39 when btc is at 2k and I go to 3300 gross.

Tyrion and bob have been very good running this buy.  I did not want to sell all my holdings but this buy is more liquid then dZcoop is.

I wanted to sell half of all 3 buys.  thus allowing me a middling affect on profit.

I had 250gh in hash I now have 206gh in hash so my exposure to a large drop in BTC price has been reduced. I still have a chance to score big if btc rises with my other  buys on dZcoop.

Thanks again this buy has been a pleasure and in my eyes a good success.

Best to all and happy mining!!  Philipma1957

Part of the reason why we bought this GB is because the shares are exchangeable. You can "sell" these miners at any time by selling your shares, or you can "buy" whole miners by buying the shares. There doesn't even need to be a debate, tyrion and blastbob gave us a great mechanism for voting with your wallet.

it looks like you can buy/sell for ~0.0013/share. If you think we should sell miners, sell your shares. If you think it's a good deal, buy.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=328135.msg3713349#new

Okay good point.  So I have 1250 shares if I ask .0014 for them   that is 1.75 btc  while this would seem terrible in terms of my 7.5 btc paid in back in july in terms of cash it is a nice profit.

Each machine we own is about 12400 shares…  so at .0014 a machine is about 17.36 btc   at .0012  a machine is about 14.88 btc.     so the correct price is between .0012 and .0015 a share.

So I will offer my 1250 shares on that link.  I need to read transfer procedure.

So far I have sold 100 of my 1250 shares.  Thank you for the thread link.

I have now sold 300 of my 1250 shares So thanks for the thread link a second time.  Now I am a fiat roi guy not a btc roi guy.

So I got .395 btc for 300 shares  then I cashed the .395 btc. at coinbase.

.395 btc is  about 426 usd .  I have now fully sold my shares so thanks again.  for pointing out the transfer thread.   This allowed me to middle my profits nicely. tyrion70 I will pm the info on the transfer of the 950 shares.
