Forgot to mention

Total Mined Coins for Payout: 39.84231837
Total Coins before fees for Payout: 39.87285772

Yes that's right we mined less coins then the payout.

Thanks to bob correct?

Oh I cashed this in  as soon as I could on coinbase.

I am due 453 usd.  dropped from 464 above due to a miners fee and a small rate exchange drop.

this r9-12  I will cash in all btc asap at coinbase.

I want to have a easy trail to show profit or loss in terms of usd.
11 shares at 123 = 1353 in and so far 453 back  down 900 usd.  but this was only 6 or 7 days of mining .

in the next 2 weeks with luck  we should do higher btc since nov 30th is 16 days of mining.   like bob said next diff will not be as bad maybe 15%- 20% not 35 %.

in USD we could be even by dec 1st. fingers crossed.
44584  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Black Arrow R9-12 threads, DZ Miners Co-op. Plz move ?s and discussion here. on: November 15, 2013, 05:22:18 AM
thanks ! looks like I got 1.09098806 for 11 shares.  so this is about  0.099180732  a share after fees

If I were to sell this right now on coinbase I would get about 464 usd.  my usd spent was 1353     so a few more weeks would get me close to out for this group.

This group I will try selling every btc earned on coinbase  as fast as possible.
And the next diff doesnt look bad. 590m from 509m is nothing like the last one.

yeah  fingers crossed but r5 + r6  are a winner  and r9 + r10 + r11 +  r12  may join that club very soon.

good chance you are maxed at 28 vs a possible  127 max due to the mother board.  I run Am sticks lots   and motherboard to motherboard they vary.  I have 1 laptop a cheap asus and it only allows 1 7 port hub with a max of 3 sticks.   while my high end asus maximus v gene  has done  122 sticks.  my  as rocks motherboard tops out at 105.

That is good to know, because I am re-building my new litecoin mining rig tomorrow. And it is using MSI Z77A-GD65 motherbaord. Hopefully if it is the motherboard, and maybe I can run all of them on that board. I won't know until tomorrow after I build it and install Linux on it.

well I am a windows  7 miner  and a bit of 10.8.5 osx   mining with mac minis.   I have found that mobo to mobo the max varies with AM sticks.   Most likely it will vary with the red/blue fury sticks.   I am waiting g on more reds to test.

Hashing looks like its evened out, And all the bad boards have been pulled, and shipped back for RMA. Untill they come back, I will be keeping the Jupiter on hashing to maintain advertised speeds.

Extra 7BTC was paid into the payout fund, and will be distributed with first dividend tonight or tomorrow.

The payout will more than likely be tonight as I have to get a procedure done tomorrow and will be slightly sedated, not sure how I'll be feeling on the 15th so might as well do it a day early.
I wish to best for you on the Medical end bro.  I just got back from my doctor today he removed stitches on my back. I am doing okay I hope you do just as well as I have>

Blue/Red Fury maximum on each PC? I got both Blue and Red Fury. Actually I prefer Red Fury than then Blue.

How many did you managed to run on your PC? I only managed to run 28 Fury with my PC. And I am running another 13 on another PC.

Did you manage to run more? I found that when I tried to run more than 28, it doesn't recognise it.  Huh

Ideally I want to run all 41 of them using one PC. Do you know how?

Thanks  Smiley

what pc .  what os.

I got up to 120-122 AM STICKS on my pc.

Right now I have 1 red fury so I can't test.

I do have a  few questions
1) of your 41 sticks how many are red and how many are blue?

2)also can you mix and match the sticks?  like 14 red with 14 blue

3)  what are your hubs?

4) what is your pc and what is the mobo?

Congrats, looks very interesting. Out of curiosity, how big is your first batch, and what kind of production volume do you hope to achieve?

would be nice if first batch was 2500 or more.   no delays no bs.  if they ramped up to 5000 a batch and a batch every week they could sell them all. fast at the right price.

Talking usb sticks.
44592  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: RedFury 2.6GH USB miner will ti pay for itself? on: November 14, 2013, 04:07:20 AM
so shortly when BTC is at this $, its not worht to mine at all?

what about doing altcoins and selling for BTC

Some mining is okay  but you need an edge.. If you have 500 watts mining in a winter climate it is worth extra money for your heat.  In the USA more then 1 million homes heat with electric heat..  Since they will spend the electrical power maybe as much as   250 dollars to heat the home each month mining makes some sense for them.

If you live  in Hawaii it is warm and power cost big bucks  don't mine buy btc.  Alt coins have gotten better  I have a buddy that went back to lite coins.  He is in Canada and it helps to heat his home.
44593  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: RedFury 2.6GH USB miner will ti pay for itself? on: November 14, 2013, 03:37:45 AM
depends on how you do your math.

Let argue this way..   You live next door to me.  and hand me    .32 btc in usd which is at this minute  .32 btc x 420 usd = 134.4 usd   .  Lets pretend that since you live next door to me I walk to your house ant setup the one I own..

  it is running 2.37gh..

lets say you are running a setup already   so you only add 3 watts .  that is 72 watts a day or about 2.2 kwatts a month…

I live in NJ so the power used is .16 cents or 35 cents a month.   Since I live next door and it is  1045 pm I set it up in the morning.  and you start your hash on the 14th.

you have 2 days at  current diff.  you earn about .00225875 btc for day one  and for day two.  that is .0045175 btc profit for 2 days.

next jump is to 575 mill (a guess)  this lowers your daily profit to  .00200073  that lasts for 11 days  this is .02200803  so after 13 days you earned .02652553 coins.   lets say for those 13 days coins were dead stable  at 420 usd.

now on the 13th day  btc drops to 105 usd and stays for a year  you are ffff'd.   as your earned btc is worth 2.78 usd against the 134 usd you put up

or on the 13th day coins move to 1680 usd   your earned btc is worth  44.56 usd  against the  134.40 usd you put up

If you just buy .32 btc  at a cost of 134.40 usd and hold for  13 days.

dead stable prices until the 13th day and btc drops to 105 your .32 btc is worth  33.60 usd instead of  the 134.40 usd  you started with.

but if prices jump to 1680  your .32 btc is worth  537.60 usd  instead of the 134.40 usd you started with.

So to most buying coin looks good short term if the market goes up it is good.

Of course Buying a stick for 134 usd and have it for  30 or 40 days earn coin and sell it  may be better then just buying coin.  Other factors these sticks give you heat.   So if you are in NJ like I am  i get a bonus of lwer heating bills for the next 180 days.

My motto is mix it up  Have some sticks or other mining gear hold some coins.   maybe have some cex.io shares   and hope for btc to rise

Besides, if you normally average $50-100 per day and suddenly you only averaged $20 without any explicable reason, wouldn't you question it too?

That's the thing though.

The reason is quite explicable if you had cared to do even 5 minutes of research.

Instead, armed with zero knowledge, you opted to make a petulant post, informing us all that you wouldn't be sticking around because "you've never had it this bad at Slush."   Cheesy

But I have stuck around? And would like to?
If I had no intention of sticking around, I wouldn't have bothered commenting to begin with, and still wouldnt be. What sense does that make?
Doc had answered my question and I would've stuck around longer, but after this fantastic welcome back party I understand.
Slush was the one having terrible luck lately. Yet, I was mining better there (even with long blocks) rather than the relatively shorter blocks here. Thats all I was trying to figure out. Sans insults. But we're too petty for that it seems. Smiley emoticons and all Cheesy

Perhaps it wasn't worth the time after all. I wont bother further then.

My friend I was polite.  I explained what caused your issue.  So if you want you can stay s  or not.     While henchman24 and I have knocked heads a few times he is correct that you not acknowledging  why your score is low during the first 20 hours.

BTW if you  leave the pool will pay your for the first 10 hours you are gone.  So what ever you do I wish you luck in your life and much happiness.

  yeah baby!

I so can't wait till dividend day.

LOL, how many coins do you get each dividend day?

I think I will need to wait 1 more payout cycle unless the numbers are much better than I expect. But soon, very soon, I shall have my first ever FULL bitcoin to call my precious. I think I will be about .93 after this cycle, so one more to go
LOL

I think 19 shares of r5+r6 will be 1.4 or more and 11 shares of r9+r10+r11+r12 will be around .88   so maybe 2 coins.

If price holds and I sell them for 800 usd, I think I am even for  all the above shares in USD terms.
These 400 usd  coin prices have made my remaining block eruptors  sell at high prices on ebay.  All in all OCT and NOV have been good to me. (in the world of BTC)

I wanted to come back to bitminter. But after mining for 20~ hours with 200 GH/s I'm only seeing 0.05BTC. Was it just a bad few rounds? Even with bad rounds, I never had it this bad at slush.

you do realize that  the first 10 hours are your ramp up  from 0 to 200gh don't you?  I suggest you run for 100 hours then stop.  you will continue to collect during the next 10 hours as your ramp down from 200gh  to zero happens.
