441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 12, 2020, 04:27:57 AM
Definitely altcoin season this year. You'd be surprised on how much money investors are pouring in in DeFi projects during Q1-Q2 this year and that definitely brought attention to Bitcoin or cryptocurrency overall.

I don't know about you but I don't think Bitcoin is really stable right now or even in the near future. It could dump or pump anytime along with altcoins.
442  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Nico David "bitaccelerate" SCAM review on: November 11, 2020, 05:38:12 AM
Sobrang entertaining yung video haha.

443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Post-COVID World Powered By Blockchain Technology on: November 11, 2020, 04:25:37 AM
We really can't deny the the digital world really played an active role during this pandemic times. People saw the potential of digital currency and business further and I can see that maybe, this pandemic really is one of the catalyst that will make cryptocurrency spread to people. We can't deny that big companies and personalities are getting bullish on Bitcoin now so we might see something positive after Post-COVID.
444  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My Plan if ever happens again ATH on: November 10, 2020, 04:27:08 AM
So kaya kahit na ma reach man or hindi, may kita parin ako ngayon at may pang aginaldo pa.  Grin
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum User Spends $9,500 in Fees Sending Just $120 on: November 10, 2020, 12:37:05 AM
One of the reasons that I don't do transaction when I'm drunk. For sure that guy was drunk, instead of transaction amount he mistakenly put in the gas fee, what an unlucky day for him there is no way to recover.

No one in their right mind would trade when their drunk though. It's most likely that he switched the meaning between "gwei" and "gas". Bad luck to him though because I really doubt that he will get the money as:

"Bitfly, Ethermine’s parent firm, said at the time that it will not investigate or refund any such errors in the future."
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Folgory Exchange Bounty on: November 08, 2020, 08:29:24 AM
You should move this to reputation board or make another thread in the reputation along with the proof that you have so people can be more aware of what is happening in this exchange (assuming that you are telling the truth).

its so strange when you scammed in this exchanges  and still request bounty campaign.  this folgory was scam and fake exchanges, so its done for us and don't do anything anymore even that bounty campaign. just forget and find another campaign to recovery your loss .

I think he meant a bounty hunt for the owner's head of this exchange (at least a bounty to know the identities of the scammers). It's unlikely that this will happen though unless you put a reasonable price that would attract bounty hunters.

447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: November 08, 2020, 04:04:50 AM
Approving Bitcoin isn't as easy as counting 1, 2, 3, this needs research and a lot of data before they even consider Bitcoin. A world power promoting Bitcoin is just a pipe dream and is unlikely to happen as long as they have no absolute way to regulate it and make it their own. It's not like we need them anyway, Bitcoin is growing each day without the approval of the authority which is why people invest in it because we have the freedom in many ways.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why buying btc is hurting our environment like an atomic bomb on: November 07, 2020, 05:35:59 AM
There is nothing wrong with using energy. Do you live in a dark cave and eat raw vegetables?

Users of electricity are not polluting. The polluters are the generators of electricity. If electricity generators switched to solar or wind, you would have nothing to complain about.

Yes! and it's not like coal is the only source of energy anyway. A lot already use alternative and renewable energy to provide electricity to people.

To OP, why don't you criticize the resource usage of the banking system? they pollute more than Bitcoin, weak security, and has extremely high fees. It's like doubles or more the resource usage of Bitcoin.

Everytime u trade btc u are basically killing a few chipmunks (or equivalent weight of other animal/s).

Yeah, whenever you use a fiat currency, you are basically killing an entire habitat along with the animals in it.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bloomberg Financial Journalist Tracy Alloway Flips: I'm bullish on BTC now on: November 07, 2020, 03:27:52 AM
He's probably just riding the trend as Bitcoin surges towards potential $20,000 price range. You know, potential profit and FOMO to make investors (even not investors) really invest in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin. I'm going to anticipate on what is he going to say next once Bitcoin starts dumping again next year because a correction will happen eventually, it's inevitable.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend some books about investing please! on: November 06, 2020, 12:21:28 PM
Hello there peeps. What are your top books that you’d recommend to a beginner investor and someone that wants to get into cryptocurrency investing? Im no neophyte, I know how bitcoin works; that means don’t recommend books that teach about the background of bitcoin. Otherwise, any other book helps.

Regards
Unfortunately or fortunately, there is no book available to learn about cryptocurrency investment because it's only about buying low and selling high! Nothing else really!

That's basically investing in cryptocurrency in a nutshell lol. Just add a little bit of getting ahead in hearing FOMO and FUD, you're good to go.

Well, since most of the time, Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is just so unpredictable and so volatile that any speculations or analysis in it just doesn't work even if you know your stuff in trading.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH2.0 New Update on: November 06, 2020, 11:06:31 AM
I don't think people need to rush to start depositing into the contract for now since the launch is December, the hype would help Ether price initially but people would later discovered it is no event. I don't see this moving the price the way some people are projecting

Agree, and it's not like it's a mandatory thing to do anyway. Let's just wait for ETH 2.0 to be fully functional before we do anything with it. I just hope that they don't really let our expectation down especially that they created this hype in the community.

Though I bet this is also a driving factor why Bitcoin is surging right now.

Quote
A Biden win means a win for corruption and the Deep State so I would expect Bitcoin’s price to bolt higher as people panic-buy unconfiscatable Bitcoin before Biden’s socialist, jackbooted thugs start confiscating everything in a replay of 1938 Kristallnacht.

453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The main driving force behind bitcoin rally on: November 05, 2020, 02:16:11 PM
Inevitable effects of halving are felt now.

Accompany it with Paypal integrating Bitcoin into their system and you'll have a good bull run. I can't believe that we really is going for $15,000 range and currently at $14,500+. I did predict that we might reach $15,000 this year though but I didn't really expect it to happen so soon.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you guys still holding Riochain (Rfuel)? on: November 03, 2020, 02:30:56 PM
RIP, you got too greedy man. You should have sold and left that project a long time ago. You're in this dilemma that if you sell now, you might miss a pump, if you hold, you might get lucky and win big. Trust me, most of the time projects that dump after a hype won't be coming back anytime soon, especially now that people's focus is into Bitcoin and older alts.
455  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [TIP] Onting tipid tips sa transactions sa Coins.PH on: November 03, 2020, 05:47:59 AM
Wow.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: john mcAfee pumps crypto from prison, denies tax fraud and murder on: November 03, 2020, 05:33:54 AM
Regardless of where you stand with taxation, he absolutely committed tax fraud by definition. Best of luck to him though, I suppose -- I'd also rather be jailed in Spain than the US.

I'm not an American, does this actually happen in America? “If extradited, I face 35 years in prison for multiple counts of refusing to file tax returns. Had I chosen armed robbery, I would’ve received 5 years maximum. You tell me if it’s just.” and he is pretty confident that this will not happen.

I'm not a fan of McAfee but what he said is quite interesting for me this time.
457  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Maging mapagmatyag at maingat on: November 02, 2020, 04:33:10 AM

458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Even huawei refused to be left out on: November 02, 2020, 02:45:43 AM
I don't get it, what does it got to do with cryptocurrency? because as far as I know, China's yuan digital currency isn't going to be a cryptocurrency. It's pretty much just a digital option for people offline, basically it's still centralized and a fiat currency. If they where to add options for offline transactions in different currencies, then that's worthy of a little attention in my opinion.
459  Other / Meta / Re: How to increase Merit? on: November 01, 2020, 09:35:51 AM
very confuse about getting my account up level .
why my merit points not increasing ?
give me some suggestion on this topic please ....

To be fair, most of your post are bounty reports and comments that won't make anyone interested (even your first post was for bounty hunting), that makes me think that this is an alt and this thread was made just to increase your post count.

Well if you're really new here, my tip for you is to at least try to post something that would make people find it helpful or interesting. That way, you'll attract merits on your account. At the very least, try to improve your grammar.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 01, 2020, 08:25:40 AM
I bet you are really pissed right now because this tokens you got became pretty much valueless overnight but you should have taken into account on who are the possible culprit instead of blaming it all to bounty hunters. If this project is killed just because of a temporary dump, then it's their fault, not the people who invested in it (Yes, bounty hunters are investors too since they invest their time).

If you really have faith in that project (Assuming you do since you hold instead of selling), then don't mind the temporary dump.
